We were at the BSB last Sunday evening and sat at the bar, there were four of us. We were there for cocktails but were considering appetizers as well. Three of us ordered a drink, but I wasn't sure what I wanted so ordered a glass of water to give myself time. Cal, the bartender, delivered the three cocktails but neglected to bring my water. She got busy with another order, so we waited to request it again. When we did, her response was 'I'll be with you in a minute.' She didn't so much as glance our way. Instead, she started to work on another order. In the meantime, another couple came in and sat next to us. After Cal completed her order, she approached this couple and assisted them. Finally, my husband got up and poured me a glass as he removed one from a table and found a full pitcher of water. I have worked in the customer service industry for many years, and in no way would I neglect a guest whether they were ordering the most expensive drink or a glass of water! In this case, I sat with my husband and our friends and as they sat there with their drinks, I sat empty handed. The whole point, though, is not about the fact that I didn't get my beverage. It is the attitude of the bartender who blatantly ignored our request. Because of this we decided to go across the street to The Beach House where we ordered dinner and drinks. My husband and I both work in industries in which ppl ask for dinner recommendations on a regular basis, BSB will not be on our list. In fact, it will be on the list of places to avoid.

10/10 experience. We didn't have reservations and they were able to fit my husband and I in and went above and beyond to make sure it happened. Food was great, service was awesome, waitress was awesome (shoutout Heather). Would definitely come here again!

We made reservations and got to the host station exactly on time. The lady behind the podium was upset about something but never acknowledged our presence. Minutes go by hardly a soul in the place and dirty tables all around. I was patient for what seemed like a comical length of time to stand in front of someone and be completely ignored. Not even eye contact while she shuffled around huffing and puffing about something that must have happened earlier. I grabbed a guy walking by in a neon shirt and asked if he knew where the hostess worked? He half laughed and said he would be back to seat us. I was ready to walk out many minutes later when the guy came back and reached around the hostess for some menus and sat us at our table as he cleared it. Look folks if you guys are going to set your summer prices through the roof the least you can do is attention to detail to give your customer a fine dining experience other wise ditch the white table clothes and serve burgers at the counter. The calamari had an interesting choice of sauce but our order looked like the bottom of the bag with just little bits and pieces and lots of breading. I had the fillet and lobster it tasted okay but looked like it was plated in a cafeteria. My wife had a filet ordered med rare as was mine. How do you fire the same cuts on the same order and have such a difference in temp? My steak was med rare on the button but hers was medium, no pink at all. She did not send it back but let the server know so the kitchen would know. Waiter said sorry but would it have killed him to maybe offer her a desert or another cocktail on the house. The views off the deck are incredible the highlight of the dinner was watching the storm roll in 7pm reservation on 8/1 EDIT and correction We were there on Tues 7/30 my dates were wrong. And you have black table clothes as I see in the pics that I took. The hostess was a larger Black women, our waiter who did a fine job was a slim younger guy with glasses. The fellow in yellow neon did not look like he was dressed tp work there but was the only one to acknowledge us after being ignored for a very long time. I did not mention that I also stood at the bar before our entree to ask the bartender a question but could not find her as well.

We traveled to AMI during Hurricane Debby and had a hard time finding restaurants that were open. Originally when we arrived, we were told they had just closed due to lack of staff, but the bar on the main floor was open. However, the manager heard we had wanted a table at the bistro and he stayed open for our group of 7 to enjoy a fabulous dinner. Everything was amazing - appetizers of seafood dip and coconut shrimp, main dishes of surf & turf and stuffed shrimp. Would highly recommend.

Hidden Gem!!!!! Amazingly surprising view!!!! Beautiful for a family dinner or romantic evening!!! Elevator available!! Service was spot on and the food delish!! Highly recommend!!!

The vibe was “eh” but the food and service were excellent. Reservation claimed gulf view but the table we were given did not have much of a view.

It is July so it hot! They had fans that were very loud, if you want to have a conversation with your group, don’t sit near a fan! The food was good but the service was subpar. They were not crowded as we went early but the service was poor. It’s on Bridge Street near shops and pier great location.

We go for the entertainment but the food is good . Service is usually very good. Beach atmosphere, you can't go wrong with the view !!

Great place to take in the sunset! Food was good, great selection of alcoholic drinks as well as mocktails. Staff was very attentive and friendly! Dinner was perfect! Parking in the public lots are recommended and this is an easy walk from the nearby lots.

What a gem with a phenomenal view! Michelle took fantastic care of us. Gorgeous view of the sunset. The coconut Margarita was delicious! We shared the house salad and grouper with almonds. Recommend making reservations.

Perfect place to catch the sunset plus great food and service. We had the wedge salad which was prepared with Romaine rather than iceberg. A nice upgrade. Coconut shrimp was outstanding as an appetizer. The grouper with shrimp was an easy split and excellent. Wine selection is nice and reasonably priced. All around a place not to be missed.

Anniversary dinner absolutely beautiful great food and excellent service

Started off with chowder and wife had a wedge. Both were delicious. For dinner we had blackened grouper and it was terrific. Sitting outside was great as the sunset is amazing

Very Good place to eat! Service and food was great!! Just knocked off a star because even the server told us not to go for the lobster bisque lol. And the key lime pie was AWFUL!! Go across the street to the beach house for good key lime pie!

Nice atmosphere over looking the water. Drinks were like fruit punch, didn't taste right and no liquor and we are not big drinkers. They did get us new ones but still not very good. Paid $24 for Jerk Scallops but you only get 2 scallops! Lobster Tail dinner was good as well as Fish and Chips. Crab Cakes were average. Server tried and was nice but we could never find her so service suffered. Its a one and done for us.

to start the view is fantastic and the reason we came here. The resturant has them selves positioned to take full advantage of the view. We sat on the third level and loved it. when we arrived we started with drinks. the coconut drink was a big hit. beer and wine selection a bit disspointing. good selection of wines if you're willing to buy a bottle not as big a selection if you wanted to buy wine by the glass. beer selection was okay. appetizers was standard fare. we had the calamari and it was a nice version with jalapeno's mixed in to give it a kick. ladies had the lobster bisque which was tasty but basically a thick creamy broth. main courses were okay. my biggest complaint was all entrees except salads seemed to come with either risotto or mashed potatoes and i was not allowed to substitute out of that. I wanted to get one of the steaks offered with a salad and could not switch up to do so. So then i ended up getting the seafood cobb salad with a filet add on just to get what i really wanted. filet was good. salad came ice cold which is a bit strange. salads are usually room temperature not ice cold. cobb salad was a nice creation and tasty. Other than the shrimp in it I'm not sure i noticed any other seafood. shrimp were steamed without any seasoning and bland. this restuarnat needs to understand that there are a lot of low carb eaters out there that don't want the carbs forced on them. ladies had the crab cakes which were advertised as maryland style but not really so. not sure they were seasoned with old bay and they were either filled with non lump crab meat or fillers. tasty for tourists who don't know any difference but not maryland style as any marylander would tell you. Service tended to be slow with little follow up from our waiter. If you get a table on the third floor get one with an umbrella as the seagulls were bombarding the ones that did not have an umbrella.

Very friendly service but disappointing quality of dinners. We both had the grouper. And both had dry fish, overcooked broccoli and dry risotto. We were surprised & disappointed. Nice atmosphere & view but we can’t recommend this restaurant.

Frequently vacation to Florida 3 years ago found this gem recently came back for a visit and had to stop here for food. And it did not disappoint me at all. Met a nice server named Jordan who was so friendly and did an amazing job at making sure the service and the food was exceptional. I tried the bang bang cauliflower which was so delicious. Parking was so easy thanks to mayor for parking David. The view is breath taking I would recommend this restaurant to anyone and I can’t wait to come back for another visit and enjoy the food again.

My husband and I had over 20th Anniversary dinner there last night and the food was good, but the hostess ran us off because we had been there to long an d our bill was $200 and she told us rudely to leave and we couldn't stay for the sunset. We have been going there for 17 years and that was the worst experience.!!!

We had our destination wedding reception here recently. Jennifer was great at communicating and answered all of our questions promptly. She was wonderful to work with, she was helpful getting everything set up and ready for our event. The food at our reception was absolutely amazing. From the salads to the entrees! Everyone loved their meals! The bartender and other staff were so attentive and friendly. We can’t sing their praises enough. If you are thinking about hosting a wedding reception here at Bridge Street Bistro definitely do it! We Highly recommend them.

Okay meal and location. Will never go back as waitress was so rude. I was told a 20% was an insult.

One of our favorite places on a third story deck overlooking Bradenton Beach( and Moose club) for a rum runner, martini, and strawberry salad, burger, grilled shrimp tacos or cauliflower appetizer.

The wait time for our food to get done took well over an hour. I felt sorry for our waitress because it wasn't her fault. My wife got a refund on her food.

The worst place I’ve ever been the manager was so rude. She screams at you if you ask any questions toward your wait time and wouldn’t give her name, the food is subpar and the service is rude and takes way too long and it’s cold. Come here if you want to waste your time and money.

I was apprehensive going out to dinner with 12 people but we were in and out in an hour AND the food and service were incredible!! That is not an easy task.

took my wife to Bridge Street Bistro for our 28th wedding anniversary by recommendation. Unfortunately our experience was less than fulfilling. Our server Cal did not seem to know how to wait tables. Our finished salad sat on the table till the end. We were never offered refills and my wife’s pasta was served cold. My order arrived incorrect, as I ordered the swordfish with mashed potatoes but received risotto instead. Cal did bring a side of mashed potatoes but they tasted plain and cold. Despite knowing it was our anniversary they made no effort to celebrate with the exception of Cal taking our picture at our request. The only good thing I can say is the swordfish was cooked perfectly and tasted very good.

The menu is not updated from what it shows here. We waited over 40 minutes after we received our appetizer to be waited on. The girl next to our table got raw chicken. We ended up leaving without ordering. We were already frustrated.

We have never felt less welcome at a restaurant. We were barely acknowledged, and even though there were few customers - and many waitstaff - we sat at the Bar for five minutes and the bartender walked away before she took care of us. Then the Manager walked by, but was more concerned about the TV Remote than two customers that weren’t tended to yet. I guess we didn’t fit the preferred client profile? I’m a business owner and have traveled extensively throughout my career - and this is one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. We got up and left and no one even questioned why - including the person that looked like the Manager

Scallops and grouper were not cooked through. Service was weird. Food runner and bus girl outshined the rest of the staff.

We booked our wedding here for Feb 15, 2024. Jennifer was absolutely fabulous to work with. She bent over backwards to accommodate our needs. The second floor is beautiful for a small wedding as we had 25 total guests. ALL of the staff put our needs first. The food was PHENOMENAL! Every guest raves about the food!! If you at ALL are considering a wedding here, don’t hesitate to book!!

We visited Bridge Street Bistro on Valentines Day hoping for a good experience. Apparently we didn’t set our expectations high enough! The food was delicious but the highlight was our server Stephanie! From the minute we sat down she made us feel welcomed and the focus of her attention. She made great suggestions which were spot on. I have told a number of friends that she was one of the best servers I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Go to the restaurant for great food and ask for Stephanie for exceptional service!

Three cheers for Stephanie !! So glad the people at the Moose told us about this spot. BEST happy hour with terrific drink prices and a great happy hour menu. Our cubans were on-point as well as the burger that was ordered. Delicious martinis for 6 bucks - you kiddin' me? The highlight however was Stephanie our server. Smiling, fun and efficient we felt like we were old friends of hers. This is what hospitality is (to the rest of the servers in the world) We will be back and ask for her.

Party of 8 last night inside and we were all very pleased with our food and the service. In past years we have always dined outside, but the inside experience was just as lovely with a bit more formal feel and fantastic views! Keep doing a great job..perhaps extend your happy hour?

Enjoyed a blackened grouper dinner with friends. It was prepared perfectly and served timely, so the dish remained hot. This is sometimes an issue in Florida, but NOT here. SO GOOD. Service was fantastic. Definitely recommend this restaurant

Seafood mac and cheese is delicious!

Unfortunately very disappointed. We went in Christmas Eve hoping for a special experience with our teen children. The food was ok- nothing special especially for the price. Service was terrible. The hostess didn’t seem to know what she was doing and then when we got seated it took forever for someone to acknowledge us.Our server dumped a bunch of ice on my husbands lap and the floor when attempting to pour water. After ordering drinks we saw them sitting on the bar until we were basically done with our meals. The server had to write everything down (sorry but at these prices that seems unprofessional) and then still forgot things. Also not very friendly. The restaurant staff were wearing dirty leggings and bike shorts and the carpet is gross. Over $200 for a meal for four? I expect much higher quality all around.

Food was OK. Its been better. My sides came cool. The fish was very good. The waitress was very good. Also we went to the bar first and the bar and staff was very welcoming.

We’ve been coming to the Beach Street Bistro for many years and it’s really only one of two restaurants that we visit for an upscale, seafood-centric meal with a stunning view of the sunset. I’ve never had a bad meal and I tend to stick with a selection from the “Just Caught” section of the menu. I’ve had grouper, mahi-mahi, salmon and other types of fish, with all of the various preparations offered on the menu. My favorite is the pecan crusted preparation, but it really depends on the fish. My sister raved about the “grassy key” style preparation during our last visit. We’ve also had the cranberry pecan salad, clam chowder soup, scallop entree, the pork chop, and surf & turf. All were delicious. And, of course, the coconut shrimp is a must if you’re visiting Anna Maria Island! You’ll also get fresh bread and butter before the meal, and the entree portions are generous, so no one is going hungry. Finally, the sunset view. We typically call a week in advance to make a reservation for the outside deck. You can’t reserve a table on the deck specifically, but if you get an earlier reservation you’ll be able to request a table outside when you check-in with the host/hostess. We’ve always been able to get a table outside, but it is a small deck (4-5 tables, I believe), so be sure to plan ahead. As you can see from the photos, the view is unbeatable. We’ll be back, every year, during our future vacations!

Food was overpriced for what it is, our food was cold to lukewarm at best and wasn't anything special. For example, the tuna appetizer was entirely cold, which is odd for a panko crusted dish, I would expect some warmth there on the outside at least like it had been seared, instead it tasted like it came straight out of the fridge or deli case. The scallop carbonara was more like an alfredo sauce with Bits O' Bacon on the top, the scallops were at least prepared good and tasted fresh. Ice cream for the kids came out as a melted bowl of soup with a giant swirl of Reddi-Whip on top, and lava cake was without chocolate lava. Easily the most laughable $200 (2 adults, 2 kids) meal I've had, throw on top they have no parking so you wind up paying the resort parking attendant a tip so you can park somewhere halfway close. Nice view of the water, decent service, but I personally would not recommend this restaurant at this price point, there are better local options.

Let me first start off by saying we come here every year. We have aat downstairs and had lunch dinner and drinks and was never disappointed. We decided to try upstairs for our Anniversary. We made reservations. When we arrived at our reservation time, the hostess took out names and after a few minutes the first thing she asked us if we would we think we would be finished by a certain time.. first impression horrible. How do you ask someone that. Ordered our food, and all I will say is that I ordered the rib eye meal, and I had one bite and that was it. When the waitress came wasn't even asked if something was wrong with my meal just took the full plate back. After spending 200.00 I can only say my drink was good. Paid and went downstairs for food and drinks. Very disappointing Anniversary dinner to say the least. Sorry however I'll continue to eat downstairs at Island Time

Incredibly friendly staff. Absolutely delicious food and great cocktails, complete with a quaint beach view from the terrace.

So I'm all about flavors and unfortunately the salt shaker didn't help. However, presentation and service is 💯. The drinks were also very tasty and well presented. The inside is all very well decorated with the rat pack theme and all very clean. The sunset view is incredible, just make sure to get your reservation in line with that as they have limited servers and seating availability. We sat at the bar while our table was ready and had to sneak out there in between a table to snap a pic. Luckily that sunset is really viewable at any spot on that street- something about it going down and setting with a drink in your hand at the table is better than standing out there and running back into bar though. Wish we had a table. Inside is very intimate though. Service is amazing, everyone is super nice. Food is just bland and I am used to more flavors in every bite. I would visit again and ask for maybe that mustard pretzel set up for the sea bass instead of Oscar style.

Came here for happy hour and had oysters, calamari, tacos, truffle fries, and many many drinks with an amazing bartender, Jenny, who was simply fantastic! Please come here and enjoy her personality, you won’t regret it. Thanks Jenny, you are simply unforgettable!!

Wife and I dropped in without a reservation and they seated us out on 3rd floor balcony overlooking the Gulf. Great food. I got the ribeye and my wife got the grouper. Pricey but we were celebrating Mother’s Day a few days late and my birthday. Michael was our waiter and we thoroughly enjoyed this splurge. Well worth it. I would definitely recommend this place while on Anna Maria Island. Toasted Colada was amazing according to my wife! Blood Orange Marquerita wasn’t bad either 😉

Food was ok. Waitress was nice. They continued to slam the door from the bar to the outside. I thought it was a gun shot. They obviously took great pleasure in doing it over and over! The jumbo shrimp cocktail was about 25/30 size. Never again!

As a local real estate broker, I often get asked where’s a good place to go eat and this one checks a lot of the boxes. Excellent place for sunset or anytime big windows inside allow you to sit in the air-conditioning and watch the sunset, and the outdoor deck is a great place to get sunshine have a bite to eat, and a drink their happy hour, as well, known, and very early in the day, see photo for details.

We had a beautiful, unforgettable evening - and I have nothing but the highest of praise for this venue! Four couples who have been friends from California days fifty years ago, planned to meet for dinner at 6. A parade in Bradenton delayed us by 30 minutes, but the Bridge Street Bistro very graciously held our table for us. Every item we ordered was delicious and beautifully presented. Each person raved about the food, from the incredible wedge salad to the fresh grouper, fluke, stuffed shrimp, whole fish special, to the burger. Our waiter David was the most professional, attentive, thoughtful waiter imaginable. He indulged us with his patience, and helped make our night wonderful. A wild wind and rain storm at the beach, combined with a spectacular sunset outside our window, helped make it a one-of-a kind evening. This group spent a week together and experienced many meals out on the town - most of which were totally underwhelming. This one night was the highlight of our dining adventures.

Triple tale, with mashed potatoes and asparagus… best part was the potatoes. Lol the fish was pretty much a filet o fish from McDonald’s, and asparagus was like eating corn stalks. It was an 8$ dinner, for 40$.

The food was terrific. I had a special of the evening - a whole red snapper, lightly fried. It was cooked wonderfully well and beautifully presented. My husband had another of the daily specials, the Mahi, and it was cooked well, and a house presentation over shrimp and asparagus. We both had the green beans, which were too al dente for me, almost raw as was the asparagus. There were many choices for wine by the glass and the two I had, pinot noir and Reisling, were fresh and the right temperature. Why only 4 stars? In first class restaurants when you are served a whole fish, the waiter carves it up. I asked the waiter, but he said they did not do that. I didn't even get a bowl for the bones, head, tail, and it got messy. The view is overrated. We sat inside and had a view of the people sitting outside. Outside you are on the busy street. We had to park 4 blocks away and pay $10 for the privilege. The elevator was not working so we climbed two steep flights of stairs. I would go back - good food, good service - just not first class treatment.

Poor service, mediocre food, nasty bathrooms. The only redeeming feature is if you get one of the umbrella tables for sunset, weather allowing. There are much better places that trump this restaurant on all fronts.

We came here for Easter dinner and had a truly great experience. Before we even arrived, we had great service. I had botched the reservation, and Jennifer worked with me to get our group in at our preferred time and followed up with me to make sure everything came together perfectly. She is a gem! Then came the actual dinner - outstanding! We were a party of six and had a variety of items from the menu, all of which were fantastic. We had two of the salads as starters, and they were really great. My son had probably the best rib-eye I've ever tasted. I know it's a seafood restaurant, but seriously consider the steak. It was so good. I had the grouper special, which was fresh and excellently prepared. The service was attentive as well, even though the restaurant was very busy because of the holiday. And you can't beat the view... All in all, an excellent experience!

Best truffle fries I have ever had. We literally could have eaten these and left. Amazing. Had the fresh black grouper, was so fresh and tasty. My friend had the seafood Mac and cheese, absolutely delicious. Waitress was amazing even while taking rudeness from the table next to us. Cute and quaint. Windows all around. Food was extremely tasty, presented well.

The entrance to the Bridge Street Bistro is not easily found. It sits directly above Island Time Bar and Grill. Parking in Bradenton Beach is limited, so be prepared and allow extra time to find a spot. I would recommend making reservations for this restaurant. This is a somewhat upscale restaurant, but their prices are no higher than most other restaurants. Our server Michele was very nice and made us at ease by giving us time after our dinner to relax. We didn’t feel rushed. We ordered blackened grouper and fish and chips. Both were excellent. We will cone here again on our next visit to Anna Maria Island.

The restaurant Atmosphere was elegant, with spectacular views of the Gulf of Mexico. Our waitress, Jenny, was very attentive, and she had a great personality. The food was excellent, the chef cooked my steak perfectly. The vegetables and salads were very fresh. The only drawback was the greeting from the barmaid, as the hostess was not available. She was rude and abrasive. She should be working as a barmaid on the first floor, not in a fine dining restaurant. Jenny made up for the bad first impression given by the barmaid.

I stopped at the Bistro’s charming 3rd floor bar where bartender Jenny was very friendly and helpful. From the bar area which can be accessed by elevator, there is a fantastic view overlooking the Bradenton Beach! There is outdoor balcony seating as well . I was there during Happy Hour so draft beer was half price and my warm pretzel appetizer was delicious with tangy mustard for dipping on the side. Relaxing time and fun conversation…I’ll be back!

Food was excellent. Made reservations on line. They were short staffed but our service was still excellent thanks to Jenny & Evelin. Only problem was parking. Clouds moved in before sunset otherwise sunset could be seen from 2nd floor dining. Grouper with Thai Sauce was excellent.

Just stopped in for a quick happy hour. They had Mango Cart on tap which I love. We ordered the Ahi Tuna which was just okay. Oysters on the 1/2 shell MP $40/6 and $60/12. Daiquiri deck across the street they were $15/6 and were excellente... just saying 😋 Beautiful view across the road.

Not a lot of good. One of for dishes was good the other below average but the price was not. Service was just ok as they seem under staffed.

Our waitress Cal was amazing! My suggestion is to order grilled food and it will be warm when you get it. The pasta we ordered was cold .

Let me tell you, I had the best fish dinner I’ve EVER had their red snapper grassy key lime style, which my server Kim expertly recommended. My husband had the filet which was like butter melt in your mouth delish. Our wonderful server Kim also recommended the herb risotto and it was amazing. For desert we had the apple bread pudding which was like apple pie and bread pudding combined and so good. The whole staff was so welcoming, friendly and just spread the good vibes. I highly recommend you try this place 10/10 recommend.

Waiter was stoned and confused. My grouper was delicious, but my friends’ mahi was dry and shriveled up. Waited over an hour for our food. Disappointing after hearing great things about this place. Walked past the kitchen as we were leaving, and it looked filthy.

This was the best dinner we had on the island! Came for my hubby’s birthday dinner and the bartenders Larry and Tracy were the BEST!!!! Food was beautiful and delicious! Thanks y’all!

Mahi was incredibly dry and chewy for $40. Service was basically nonexistent.

I don’t even know where to begin with how bad my experience was at this restaurant. It started with our waiter who was slurring his words and sweating—something was clearly wrong. One glass of wine he brought had gone bad. It took an hour and a half to get our food and when it came the two of us who got mahi got food that was inedible. My friend took one look at my food and said “I can’t believe anyone plated that $40 piece of fish and thought it was acceptable to serve to anyone”. It was so dry I couldn’t even eat it. My daughter ate about half of hers by “covering it up in mashed potatoes” to get it down. Worst meal I can remember having in a very long time. And at this price point it was worst meal I think I have ever had. The only good thing I can say about this place is they make great mashed potatoes.

Slightly dated dining experience with good (not amazing) food.

The view of the gulf and sunset was amazing. We enjoyed our dinner while taking in the view. The server was attentive and provided great recommendations. The food was good - not great but the cocktails were fun and yummy. I left my sweater on the back of my chair when we left. Our server ran after us, into the parking lot to return it to me. You won’t see that happen many places. Definitely a place to visit.

Our server, Cal, was spectacular! Very knowledgeable but more so personable! My wife had the crab stuffed shrimp and I had the scallops carbonara. Both were delicious. Even the simple salad we ordered was amazing! And the sunset!! Wow! We totally recommend this gorgeous restaurant and we will be back this coming October!!

Had a wonderful evening sitting outside for dinner. The view and food were both outstanding. Our waitress Cal was just the cherry on top and made our night one to remember!
