Great experience for us, our waitress was topnotch, I believe her name was Yaya. We had the Coconut Fried Shrimp, Grilled Fish Tacos, and finished with Key Lime Pie.

No flavor ! Overpriced ! Service was good and beach atmosphere was nice . That's about it . Ordered alot of appetizers and sides and couple meals . Was hoping for more from the menu but absolutely no flavor whatsoever .

Beware! This place is a scam! They will try to scam you at the parking lot and will try to rob you of $40 even if you go at the bar.The owners are very rude. The food is a disaster and even the cocktails are brutally bad. If they don’t like the tempo on which you spend money they will come at your table and they will try to kick you out. Don’t waste your precious time and nerves with these idiots!

Very unhappy, google maps shows they close at 1am, we showed up at 11:20pm and told us right away they had already closed. It either needs to be updated or actually work until the closing time

I dunno maybe we came on a good day but this place was legit! The hostess hates her job which was obvious and she was not giving off the same energy as the restaurant and other servers were but I only dealt with her negative vibes briefly so enough about her. The rest of the vibe, the food, our waiter, and the location was great! We went for lunch this past Sunday and there was a Reggae band playing which was really good by the way! I will echo the same sentiments on the pricing as it is pretty steep but then again what would you expect for the prime location and being right on the beach? And the first thing my wife said after finishing her food was, "I was not expecting the food to be as good as it was!" which I totally agree. Yes the food is expensive but it was really good and very large portions. She got the lamb gyro and I got the blackened grouper tacos with coconut rice and it was really tasty. I wanted a coconut to complete the experience but they ran out so I got a Pina colada in one of their pineapples instead. It was $25 and yes very expensive but it's my money and I can choose to spend it how I want to especially when I am on vacation lol. Yes there was a slight smell of a mix between the ocean, trash, and maybe the bathroom but it was not overwhelming and it's something you would come to expect from a restaurant with outdoor seating only and being right on the beach. We would go again the next time we are on vacation in AMI.

The view was great but the service was terrible. The other servers were doing great but I unfortunately got the slow doobie smoking girl who slacked the entire time. The breakfast was mediocre and way over priced. Go to Waffle House!

We arrived with a party of 2 on a Saturday night at 7:20. We were seated right away and were able to have a front table to watch the ocean and sunset. We ordered the Roasted Feta for an appetizer and Crab Cakes and Crab Cake sandwich for our meal. All 3 were amazing in taste but they were delivered at the same time. Beautiful scenery, plenty of red lighting and a table lantern for when the sun went down, delicious food!! Highly recommend.

It was very busy yet we were able to walk in and get a take and had a very attentive water who had a good attitude. Drinks were good and not crazy expensive.

My family visited several times during our vacation, and it never disappointed. The staff were all friendly and accommodating. Fantastic food and drinks for the entire family.

The place is cute, the service was good, we got to see a beautiful sunset, the food is a bit expensive and not good at all, very disappointed with the crab cake bites, and the grouper sandwich was terrible, my husband said it tasted frozen not fresh and the fries were soggy, we ate because we were hungry.

I went here this week with my boyfriend and his family. Parking is across the street. It was free to park. We sat outside on the patio area which was facing the beach. We sat under one of the little tiki huts. The drinks are great! You can get a drink in a fresh coconut or pineapple. I opted for the Malibu bucket. It was delicious! The food was delicious as well. We ordered an appetizer and I got the pulled pork sandwich. Both very good! Overall, we had a great experience! I think the price is reasonable.

I enjoyed my time but those that I was with hated it, maybe because they were facing the service area and said they saw our server flirting with other service member and spending a lot of time not doing her job. We ordered peel n eat shrimp that took over an hour to get and possibly made me very sick the next day. The venue itself was beautiful at sunset, maybe best just for drinks and not food.

If you are looking for a spot to bring your family and enjoy some drinks from the bar while sitting on the beach DO NOT COME HERE. Not family or kid friendly what so ever! We had a family beach day with our 2 friends and our 10 month old. My husband and friends bought multiple drinks from the bar throughout the day here and when we tried to come up from the beach to eat and enjoy our evening eating dinner here the owner verbally harassed our family for trying to change our 10 month son in the bathroom. We got a cup of water from the bar to rinse him off since they don’t have any type of rinsing station (which makes absolutely no sense for a BEACH BAR) The owner followed my husband and I into the bathroom and said very rudely not to wash our feet off in the bathroom in which i replied that we were trying to dress our baby. He then repeated it multiple times after saying we had no plan to do that. first of all why have a beach bar if you don’t want sand in your bar?? They literally have seating IN THE SAND. They have no changing tables either at all. So needless to say I being the mom I am confronted him and it escalated to me throwing a whole glass of water on him because you can verbally harass me all you want when I’m alone but DONT harass me when I’m out with my son. If anything you should try to accommodate a mother and her baby who are spending money at your restaurant. He deserved a lot worse than a cup of water thrown at his face in my opinion.

Says on Google they are open until 1am. Came at 11:15pm and there wasn’t a person in sight. About 5 minutes later 6-8 employees walked out and went to their cars where they proceeded to peel out of the lot across the street like it was the Indy 500. Just update your hours and be honest. We spent $20 on an Uber to get here, to wait in the parking lot another 46 minutes for another Uber to be available to take us back to our hotel. Unacceptable!! UPDATE YOUR HOURS!!!!!!!

Great place to grab a drink and some appetizers

Nice place in a perfect spot for a beautiful view. The sunset was perfect! The food was okay the mojito for some reason it felt watered needed more rum surely. The restroom was clean. The waitress was super nice the food was served fast.

This is my favorite spot on the island. Good or breakfast lunch or dinner highly recommend

Disappointing Dining Experience. Lost there local charm and dive bar prices. My recent visit left much to be desired, despite its reputation for ocean view dining and reasonably priced food and drinks. From the moment we stepped in, we thought we had return to are local beach bar. However, these expectations quickly plummeted as we delved into the menu. Firstly, the prices were exorbitant, 3 times as much as they used to be. We were prepared to splurge for an exceptional meal, but what we received was far from it. The appetizers were priced as high as the meals so we skipped to the hand Helds. $19.00 for a burger and fries. Come on man. This is Bradenton beach not Miami and we are locals. The portions were surprisingly small for the price point, leaving us feeling dissatisfied and hungry. To add to the disappointment, the service, while polite, was slow and uncoordinated. It seemed the staff was struggling to keep up with the demands of the diners, despite the restaurant not being at full capacity. Overall, it fell short on every front—quality, taste, portion size, and value for money. For the prices they charge, one would expect a memorable experience, but instead, we left feeling like we had wasted both time and money. It's regrettable to say that I cannot recommend based on this visit, as there are far better options available in the city that offer both superior food quality and a more enjoyable dining atmosphere.

Always a wonderful experience! Love being right on the beach while sipping a solid margarita. Only complaint was if you’re near the bathroom the smell will likely carry to you and it was quite unpleasant every time someone opened the door. Not often we get seated near it so I’ll definitely be back next vacation!

Durante esta semana he ido en varias ocasiones a este lugar. He vuelto por que la atención en esas ocasiones fue estupenda. Me he gastado más de 300$ con mi familia. El show de música en directo fue estupendo. Un chico joven tocaba la batería como si hubiera nacido para eso. Por desgracia en esta ocasión. Un señor muy desagradable ha estropeado la experiencia. Siempre aparcamos en el parking para comer y nos sentamos encima de una toalla en la silla porque las sillas son muy incómodas para la piel. No venimos a la playa. Venimos a comer, venimos a ver el fútbol y venimos a ver la música en directo. En esta ocasión este señor que se hace pasar por “el manager” (pero vende tickets en el parking XD ) me dice que tengo q pagar el ticket para la playa. Yo le explico que no voy a la playa que estamos comiendo la silla me hace daño y solo quiero la toalla para ponerla encima de la silla y no dañar mi piel. Este hombre desagradable y maleducado no atiende a razones así que mi familia y yo nos fuimos. Estropeando el día que estábamos pasando solo porque a él no le dio la gana de ser amable y ya habíamos hecho esto todas las ocasiones en las que habíamos venido. No vamos a volver jamás y este sitio no será recomendado. Una pena. No se como esta persona se hace pasar por el manager siendo tan irrespetuoso y maleducado.

This place is the bomb! Live music right on the beach gives you the vibe we all want during our beach vacation. The food was amazing as were the drinks. I highly recommend this place.

Told us the wait would be 20 minutes…. Waited an hour and a half… server ignored us, took forever to get anything… would not recommend…

So the food is ok. Just regular food you would get from anywhere but the gyro was really tasty. You pay for the view. But the main reason we came was thinking since it’s a bar we would get a really good drink. We got the Bradenton bucket drink and it was Terrible lol like completely watered down. I asked her to bring out cranberry juice and it was completely watered down. And the tea as well. The waitress was really nice about it though. If we are going to drop $20 bucks on a drink then make it good. So all in all the view was beautiful on the beach. The food was good and service great but drinks for Terrible!

While on a family vacation a few evenings ago (all adults) we went to the kokonut hut to have dinner and drinks. It was a horrible experience and we will NEVER return. When we arrived I put our name in with the hostess and she told me there would be a ten minute wait. No problem, so I gave her my phone number as she said she would text me. My mom is handicap and cannot stand for long periods of time so she sat on a bench at the entrance where she was immediately told to move because there was a wedding going on. So we moved to another spot where we stood in the traffic of them running food back and forth to the wedding ( no where else to go) while being treated poorly like we were in their way! After 40 minutes had gone by and I continued to watch many people just walk in and sit at tables without putting their name in with the hostess, I began to get upset! I approached the hostess and said we were told 10 minutes and it has been 40 minutes and I also questioned why all these people were helping themselves to tables while we stood there like fools, she asked if I wanted to speak to a manager and I said "yes please!" Mind you these people taking all these seats were not eating nor drinking! They were spending no money in the establishment. The manager came out ( blonde girl I would say about 40) and was nothing but rude to us when we questioned how they were running things. Her and the mean old mean would not listen to one word we had to say and threw us out! It was humiliating and the place is horribly run! Also, while leaving a very young girl who did not look 21 dis a shot of tequila at the bar and projectile vomited at the bar! I have been thrown out of better places!

Great food, beautiful views, sadly extremely slow service, even when the place is not busy at all.

I was willing to forgive the tasteless food. But what I cannot overlook was the rudeness of one of the servers who accosted my family and I after we walked up from the beach after eating and having drinks there. We asked for some water to wash off our slippers and another lovely waitress gave us some water. A minute later another waitress accosted us with the dirtiest look and said “you can’t do that here you have to leave” and yelled at my pregnant wife. It took everything I had to to dress her down right there and then. We are a mixed race family and on our first trip to Bradenton. This certainly ruined our evening. Good view but a terrible staff and mediocre food.

I’ve never felt compelled to review any restaurant but the experience here was aggressively bad. And I mean aggressively quite literally. The food and service are mediocre at best. But I wouldn’t have taken the time out of my day to write this is my family and I were not confronted and verbally berated by an angry employee for what was apparently no reason. On our way out my 7 year old niece paused briefly to play in a rain puddle that had gathered on the warped and neglected deck boards. Having paused there for no more than 30 seconds we were harassed by what appeared to be a red faced and scowling manager who told us, “you can’t do that here.” I asked her what it was that we were doing that was unacceptable. She never told us what we were doing, she just kept saying, “that’s not what we do here.” What don’t you do here I asked, what are we doing that you object to? “You just can’t be here.” She said. She never answered the simple questions, but only got angrier and more confrontational. I have suffered through the poor surface bad quality food once or twice before on my own (the view at sunset is nice) without incident. But this visit with my extended mixed race family resulted in what can only be described as an openly hostile reaction. Draw your own conclusions.

We have dined at this establishment on three occasions. Our first experience was great but ever since then it has been a disappointment. The food has been very bland and institutional and the servers gave the impression they were very disinterested in providing service. I will be hard pressed to go back again. Too many other good places to eat that make it worthwhile.

Great spot to watch the water and enjoy the sun while eating and drinking. The staff was very nice along with their new hire trainee. On site parking as well.

The Calamari and coconut shrimp was delicious. The crab cakes not so much. They were a little burned and my mother had to return hers to the kitchen.

Breakfast was horrible, biscuits were burnt and cold, corned beef hash was straight out of a can, $15 Bloody Mary was in a small plastic probably 10oz cup. Eggs over medium were good though. I don’t mind paying extra money for food but it should at least be decent. Wait staff seemed like they didn’t want to be there lol

Posted closing time was 1am. We showed up at 11:30 and were told it was last call. 🫤

Place is ehh food is fine Service is slow.. our poor waiter was trying but the bar/kitchen ware all over the place… each round took more than 15 minutes to come out.. first ordered a Margarita & mojito with Don Julio totally fine… then tried to order another round waited 10/15minutes to be told was out off stuff to make mojito.. okay that’s fine expresso Martini with don julio.. Has to be the worst drink I’ve ever had.. being a bartender asked for Kahlúa to try to help this terribly made drink .. God that didn’t help.. if you know you know Kahlúa will fix any martini.. long story short tried to drink it but just couldn’t sent more than half back the manger said he could only take off the expresso not the Kahlúa.. Like sir if you guys made it right the first time I wouldn’t have ordered the liqueur to fix u all mess up.. should of just sent the drink back originally .. very disappointed how this was handled.. should of removed it completely. Service was too slow & wait not worth it.

Yea, so so dirty...if you don't mind the smell of puke at the bar this place is for you. Bad enough it was $10 for a draft, I wouldn't even think of ordering food so can't I rate that. Sad because the beach is so pretty. My advice go around this place!

One of my favorite places, good atmosphere, good music, good service and good food

Excellent atmosphere. Unbeatable attention. But the touchtunes jukebox is disappointing, more than three hours and I couldn't listen to the songs I paid for because they constantly skip the waiting list and put your music at the end. The employees of the place do nothing about it, a sorry and a hypocritical smile is what you get in response. They need to get rid of the play next feature on the touchtunes app like we did back home. Then this place would be top notch!

I had shrimp salad, count 5-6 shrimp, more lettuce than anything else. Family member ordered a Club Sandwich, had to return it as only a tiny piece of bacon was in it. They removed that from bill. We walked here from our two condos, it was hot during our 10 day visit. This venue is on the beach, they have a full house each time I've visited. A popular time, sundown. Beautiful sunsets. I'd visit kokonuts again. Parking is hard to fine, if you can walk, do so.

Got the grouper bites cuz they were recommended. NOT crispy (thumbs down) May be microwaved? Can’t say. NO ONE has beat the grouper bites in Pensacola at the Fish House.

We enjoyed the Kokonut hut. We met friends for lunch and everyone enjoyed their meals. Our waitress was great, but the service was a little slow. We didn't mind because it gave us time to catch up with our friends. The restaurant has parking across the street. It's not a huge lot, so parking might get tricky on a busy weekend. Overall, it was a nice place to eat and talk with friends.

Not welcoming at all. Bartenders stood around and ignored us for atleast 10 minutes, not busy at all (~10pm). All around bad vibes, stay away.

This place draws one in for the beach view. Food is average. Drinks are not so great and pretty expensive. Customer service has always been excellent. Overall it's a nice place to stop and enjoy the beach view. Parking seems to have been figured out with both lots opposite of the business posted as open for customers.

Only thing they have going for them is that they’re on the beach. Service is absolute garbage. Stay away from this place, you’re better taking your money elsewhere

The burger has been, for the past few years, a significant differentiator between other Beach restaurants which all feel the same. It had been a smashburger style...2 patties, hand-formed and smashed with cheese and a soft bun that didn't overwhelm the meat. This was as recently as March of '24. That has changed for the worse as of June '24. The patties now appear pre-made (frozen?). Cheese is an add-on and the bun dominates. The whole thing was rather dry. I was very disappointed as I had really enjoyed the burger in the past. The basic Burger was also up to $19 which seems high for what you get. The location,atmosphere and service are still great. But I will likely look elsewhere for a burger.

$50.00 food and tip for a coconut shrimp appetizer, chicken sandwich and water. Seagulls got on our table and got my sandwich. The waitress was amazing and the view of the water was wonderful.

The bartenders are amazing. Very very friendly. Also, came here after the Wicked Cantina wouldn’t serve my sister and I, claiming our real ids were fake. The bartender was so nice I almost forgot that happened. Amazing experience here compared to anywhere else.

Great spot for some shade and cold drinks. Food is great too. Parking is pricey if you're going to beach. Free parking for an hour if you are eating.

We absolutely loved this place for watching the sunset over the water. They had a talented live musician playing nice music. My husband and I got the calamari and a drink and we liked it. Best sunsets!

We had a very bad experience on Sunday 05/26/2024--- Memorial Day weekend. The person helping with parking was so rude. We had a disabled child with us and he was being racist. He would not alow us to park and drove us out of the parking lot. Would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

I loved our server, Aaron I believe his name was. He was extremely kind and personable. The only think I thought was a total bust was the food. My husband Nad I both got the shrimp tacos, and we both scraped off the slaw. There was something off. We liked the shrimp, but we wish it would've blown us away.

The brussel sprouts were the best that day. The hamburger and fries were very disappointing. The vibe and atmosphere were great with Jah movement with the entertainment always is the best on Sundays

Fabulous place to hang out, have bite and a cocktail or two.

Johnny the Greek was the perfect server for my friend and I. He made us feel so comfortable and took time to explain menu items to us. He also took photos of my friend and I and allowed us to relax while the sun was setting despite our food/drinks being done. Outside of the incredible service, the food and drinks were good too, very affordable and good portions/ratios. Please come here

Fantastic, attentive service in a great location but subpar food. Some menu items are not as you'd expect ("crab dip" was very watery, almost a sauce) and several mixups with our food. All issues were corrected promptly and professionally but at this price point the food should be a lot better.

My Favorite place to enjoy the beautiful white sand beach and sun, great food and drinks, and awsome live music.

Johnny Degreek was an incredible server. He was quick, funny and best of all he is from Ohio! Overall great place. We will be back!
