Very hole in the wall place because there's no actual storefront for it, here but definitely one of those hidden gems! Only reason we came here is because we wanted to try Australian food and this definitely had some of the good stuffs. You need to order through this app or order over that counter and then sit at the tables outside or take something to go. But the name of the restaurant isn't very visible because it's through a food platform I believe. Either way, everything here was delicious! Peppered Steak Pie - This was so light and so yummy! The beef on the inside was very flavorful and went really well with that puff pastry. North Carolina this was so light it's like every bite just disappeared in your mouth! And it's not just me saying this. Husband also felt the same! Chicken Thai Curry Pie - I have no idea how that feeling is so creamy and cheesy on the inside of the puff pastry! Really nice filling one here, and it's very satisfying both in flavor and quantity! Lamington - This was served cold so it took me a little bit by surprise because I was expecting a normal room temperature Lamington. Either way, it tasted really delicious. Soft sponge cake with Rich chocolate and then the shredded coconut outside. Makes me want to try to make one of these myself haha! Anzac Biscuit - this was really soft and warm when they served it! It's like it was actually freshly baked and would just melt in your mouth! Overall totally recommend this place!

A parent brought the ground beef pies to our class feast and they were incredible! My child demolished hers and then ate some of mine. So delicious! Thank you!! Can’t wait to stop by and try the other flavors!

Ordered takeout from here while craving meat pies and was NOT disappointed. We are dairy free so were thrilled to find out the puff pastry is vegan - I couldn't tell because everything was flaky and crisp. The fillings were all delicious, and it was reasonably priced. Would give it 6 out of 5 stars if I could. So happy to have found a new favorite spot!

This is a hole in the wall that is more reminiscent of a small catering hole than anything resembling an eatery, cafe or restaurant. They basically cater for about 5-6 different restaurants and even cuisines in the same kitchen. Bronzed Aussie is one of them and it’s not clear or rather unlikely that they make these pies and sausage rolls there. So not a great experience. So let’s talk about the Aussie Pies and Sausage rolls. I have to say, not great. If you rate them as an Aussie pie or sausage roll then very poor, standalone it’s ok for something different. There is way too much puff pastry in these and the filling is more basic and less traditional and sometimes totally not the same. The steak pie was more similar to pork carnitas than to a gravy rich beef mince and the sausage rolls was not the ash laden soft doughy filling. Being price sensitive am happy to spend $7-10 on a great pie frozen but at $10-12+ per piece just won’t again. Overall will not be back but check the website there may be something there for you.

I’m an Aussie living in LA and really wanted to like these pies and sausage rolls but found them to be just okay. Had the classic beef mince which didn’t have the right mix of beef to gravy and the sausage roll I thought was over seasoned and much smaller than what I expect for a sausage roll and the price.

Wish could give this place less than 1 star. This is nothing like the pics - just don’t bother wasting your time driving through traffic to get here.

I highly recommend the food here, it's freaking delicious and the service is always great too. Try them out when you get a chance.

Aussie Beware…they have a “special menu” behind their little window for tourists charging $10 per pie. On review of the online orders, the same pies are between $5-$6 dollars. Pies were ok…but small after he told me they were filling. Our flag flies out the front but there isn’t an Aussie in sight. What a hoax..!!

Lamb pie was the absolute best that we tried! So flavorful and memorable. All the other pies we tried were just ok. I bought the pies frozen to take home, otherwise they said it would be about 25 minutes since they are baked to order. Got the ground beef pie, steak pie, lamb pie, Thai chicken curry pie, and spinach feta roll. The baking instructions were very easy to follow and all the pies turned out well, i.e. puffed and flakey. Overall, I would just come back for the lamb pie, but at $12, it is pricey for how small it is (approximately 4 in pie).

Wow wow and WOWWW! Found this gem of a restaurant by coincidence and couldn't be happier! I ordered the steak pie & chicken bacon mushroom pie (I also threw in a lamington) and everything was incredibly delicious! 12/10 would recommend--and yes I added 2 imaginary people for this recommendation! The quality is excellent as are the flavor and texture. It was an opportunity to try something new and I enjoyed the lamb pie (with rosemary) which I found to be more satisfying than the ground beef pie. The quantity is less than I'd expect for the price. I'd buy again to try other flavors when I am able to splurge. Online ordering is easy and my order was ready to pick up on time.

Food was fresh and hot. The pies were very small and overpriced for the quantity. The pie did not have a special flavor. This place is not a restaurant it is just to pick up but there are some tables and chairs. Staffs are friendly.

I love that I can get an authentic Aussie pie right here in LA. The lamb is my favourite.

EDIT: Been coming here since (5+ yrs ago) when they were down the little alley. Get the (various) chicken or pepper steak pie. Also love the Anzac cookies. The owner always offers a warm greeting and thinks I look like Chris Martin.

Five stars isn't enough! I wanted to organise a pavlova from Melbourne for a friend in LA for Christmas and Andrea from Bronzed Aussie could not have been more amazing! She truly went above and beyond to make it happen, and even offered to personally deliver the freshly made Pav on Christmas Eve so that my friend would have it in time for the holiday! I'm still in awe of how wonderful she was to deal with. When I finally make it to LA I will absolutely be dropping by the bakery to say thank you in person! Oh, and most importantly - the cake was by all accounts absolutely delicious! 500 stars!

These Australian meat pies are awesome!! Sam the owner is such a nice lady. I miss her hugs. We moved out of state. I miss her and her food!! Her pie crusts are flaky, buttery, melt in your mouth and her meat filling has a fantastic tomato sauce. She makes these Anzac biscuit bars with a layer of caramel and a layer of chocolate. Super yum. Fluffy lamingtons, cakes rolled in chocolate and coconut. Sausage rolls and minced meat pies are tasty for breakfast, lunch, any time. She has frozen pies you can take away and bake later. And EXCELLENT coffee!! If you've ever visited Australia/New Zealand and had a taste of their coffee culture, you know how good it is!! We love you Sam!!

Got the Thai chicken curry and lamb meat pies. The lamb was outstanding. Chicken curry had less flavor than expected but still good. The pies themselves were flaky and delicious. Definitely heading back here.

My wife is Australian and we came here to get the meat pies. After taking a bite she said, “I’ve waited 20 years to get my hands on something this good.” Excellent service and great food!

Awesome meat pies. Loved the ground beef and peppered steak. We went close to closing time but they were super nice about it. Even left the table and chairs for us to sit and relax. We only got 5 3 in pies for my husband and I to share and regretted we didn’t get more. Yummy food and great service!!

These meat pies are sooo delicious! That flaky crust and savory filling is just sublime. My go to place for meat pies. Well done! And the service was impeccable! I will be back!

The Bronzed Aussie offers delicious, authentic Aussie meat pies and sausage rolls. You can also purchase various other types of pies but my favorite is the traditional meat pie. Be sure to try an Aussie lamington (sponge cake covered in chocolate and coconut) for desert....very good.

Im a Dinky Die Aussie from Down Under and the Bronzed Aussie serves such yummy AUTHENTIC Australian meat pies, sausage rolls and deserts that it brought tears to my eyes! The homemade flakey pastry crusts and meat fillings are the genuine tasty Australian experience! Sooo delicious and filling! This charming restaurant is a must visit and is worth the time to find so you can enjoy a real yummy taste of Australia!

I've never had Australian Food before and I must say this place was the best place to have my very first taste of it👌🏼the food was just out of this world! I had the ground beef meat pie if you visit this place you def need to try this also the feta spinach roll 👌🏼... house salad dressing took that too a hole other level! And we ended with caramel slices 💁🏻 let me just say I will def be coming back here 👍🏼 the owner Samantha is so sweet ❤️

Since Im an Aussie I can confidently say this is genuine Australian food!! If you've ever wanted to taste REAL Australian food then Bronzed Aussie is a must! The meat pies, sausage rolls and deserts are just as you would experience anywhere Down Under. The meat pies took me back to my childhood, so perfectly authentic with the puff pastry crust, I almost cried! The owner, a real Aussie, is a joy to chat with and has brought the authentic taste of Australia to L.A. Her small shop is worth finding for a filling and delicious taste of what every talks about when they've had a REAL Aussie meat pie! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I visited the cafe at the ramada plaza and it definitely needs something done to it. Needs to be given a more trendier Aussie cafe looks as at the moment It looks more like a bar than a cafe. However the coffee was amazing, the pies and sausage rolls are to die for and the staff were so friendly, talkative and helpful giving us several places to visit. I would definitely be back again and it was so lovely hearing Aussie accents at an Aussie cafe! :)

My boyfriend and I took the Goldline to Union Station and walked the 1.5 miles to eat lunch here. As others have said, its down the alley on your left. The people inside greeted us kindly. We order 1 ground beef pie, 1 chunky beef pie, 1 lamington and 1 custard pie. The crust was sooo flaky and good! The filing was warm and delicious. I liked the ground beef over the chunky one. The lamington was very moist, but the custard was my favorite. Overall, good food!

Australian excellence in a pie. Still delicious and so worth the visit. Have been to another spot that sells Aussie pies in Westwood and thought it was the same owners... just a few weeks ago. So..they arent , it isnt the same and imo.. Samantha's Aussie pies are absolutely priceless imo ...delicious flaky pastry and the fillings, whether its lamb or beef is tastier and seasoned perfectly. Just wish some of em had some cheese infused with the meat ummmmm😜

I have been here a few times, but only ordered coffee. Their flat whites are amazing. They do have an assortment of pies and by all accounts they are yummy. Great spot for coffee if you are in the garment district.

There are things Aussies just do better. Coffee and pies are two of them. Humble shop with exceptional offerings. Go now!

Came here with some Australian friends who swear the meat pies are better than back home. I believe it. The meat pies are amazing. The crust is worth the drive. The fillings are terrific. The lamb is a work of art and the sausage rolls are delicious. The owner is so engaging she too is worth the trip.
