Easily the best seafood market I've had in Florida. Get their red royal shrimp

1st time here. Referred by a friend. Sampled the smoked mullet dip which was very good! Blackened Grouper sandwiches were out of this world and the conch fritters were delish!!Definitely be back!

We are big fans of Salty Cracker and love doing business with this family.

Ordered clam strip dinner to go got home and clam strips were so thin like shoe strings and portion size was tiny. Husband had grouper which he said was good.

This place is one of my favorite seafood stops in Jacksonville. We went for dinner last Saturday and it was very crowded with people getting food, but there were a good number of tables and places to sit because you can't sit down without food, and that makes it more manageable. Excellent service, good folks, and very good seafood.

This is a great place to try out.you can get great seafood to go, our you can get it cooked for you right there. It's nothing fancy, but I happen to love that kind of atmosphere. You can walk outback and see the fishing fleet. But if you're not into that, you can get it to go. Either way , you need to give it a shot. 😎✌️

Very cool place with the freshest seafood around! Fried Grouper Tacos from the food truck/trailer out front never disappoint. Great people.

This place has some of the freshest seafood around. You can buy fish and seafood right off the boat! Their seasoned hushpuppies are just plain addicting. You can pick up your order for takeout or eat at one of their picnic tables. For a place for great seafood, it's a solid 5/5. I do think the owners could upgrade the on-site seating and dining area though 3/5.

Can’t go wrong with a locally owned and operated family business these days! The staff is awesome and I highly suggest brooks dockside seafood for any occasion! It’s literally dockside nestled back in inglis where they catch their fish fresh daily that’s sold right there at the shop!! Last time I was there I got the blackened grouper sandwich and oh my flavorful! Got the French fries they were crispy and fresh, and the coleslaw was amazing!!! And I’m very judgmental on coleslaw not many places I enjoy their coleslaw lol All in all amazing place and totally worth the drive! 💙

They've got a great fish market, food truck, and even a rental house on the property. The owners and their family are super friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend this place!!

Got a real good price on red grouper. And snagged some broken scallops that were marked down. My family was raving on the house made smoked mullet dip. Everything was SO tasty and you know it’s fresh caught. Worth the trip!!

Brooks Dockside is amazing seafood. We go here at least once a week and always take visitors there too. Our guests bring coolers with them to take the freshest seafood we’ve ever had back home. We give Brooks ten stars out of five! Don’t miss out on this gem.

Freshest seafood around! This place is tucked away off the beaten path but SO worth the visit. Knowledgeable and friendly staff, and a huge variety. The food truck is a great spot for lunch or dinner. You can eat right by the river and their docks with local fishermen at work. If you're lucky you might get to watch a boat unload fish right there!

Have always had a pleasant experience working with the staff - they love teaching and sharing with their customers. They truly do go above and beyond at making sure ever customer is happy - but more so are providing a positive atmosphere in the community, not to mention we are supporting our local fisherman who are bringing fresh products from the docks to Our tables!

Seafood as fresh as it gets for great prices and the food from the food truck is delicious! The place is also run by great and friendly people!

Got to experience the food truck! I was not disappointed. I got the fried shrimp and fries! Both perfectly cooked and crisp. Currently sitting in OH wishing I had both to eat.

Update: the food truck is phenomenal.. I think the hush puppies are gonna be hard to beat anywhere. The shrimp quesadilla was bomb and now they offer two kinds of fish dip in the market. Both ere so good! Extremely grateful we made it back down to try all the new stuff out Old post below: We were lucky enough to be there on a day they unload the fresh caught fish, Great experience! The food was amazing and the staff are the most wonderful people. They are extremely knowledgeable and answered all my questions. You will not get fresher fish unless you catch it yourself and you can't beat the prices. 100% recommend.

Nothing fancy, but the freshest seafood around! There is both a market and a food truck (order at the food truck, then find a picnic table on the dock right on the Withlacoochie River). Delicious grouper, shrimp, and other fresh catches, as well as a couple of items for the landlubbers!

Bought a whole fresh snapper. Nice staff. Next week I plan on checking out the food truck, and leaving with a fresh grouper

1st time customer. Fresh fish, great prices. Friendly, knowledgeable, people from inside to out. I picked a snapper, 3#s, baked stuffed it with a crab/herb stuffing. Yum See you next week!
