I've been here several times now. Learned of Bub's while searching for a GOOD burger in New Orleans on Yelp. We tried it and wasn't disappointed! My son and fiance enjoyed as well. My son usually gets the grill cheese, for myself I get the Melt and my fiance usually gets the Royale burger and we pair it with 2 sides of onion rings to share. Locals and tourists were there each time I've been. Bub's Nola definitely has one of the BEST burgers in New Orleans. Don't forget the SAUCE!

This place is great! My son devoured his burger faster than I’ve ever seen him before and then asked for another! 😲😍 Atmosphere is great and the employees were extra nice.

✨Spectacular! Give me 14 of ‘em.✨ Me & my husband both got the Rodeo Adobo burger but added bacon, onions & pickles & switched out the pepper jack cheese for American & it was AMAZING. So good, we’ll be back for sure. Also great service! We played Pac-Man while we waited for our food. 10/10

Excellent burgers, great prices, friendly and welcoming staff in a compact dive-bar-ish atmosphere. The burgers are delicious! Real juicy, thin (dare I say “Smashed” but better than those) nice fresh bun. Onion rings are perfect. The Fries are great, thin sliced. Of course everyone thing is cooked to order and served hot and much faster than you’d expect. So good we went back again two days later! I’m. The Bub’s sauce is good but I’m more of a mayo person so I got it on the side to dip sparingly. The prices are great. You can get a single burger for five bucks. Fast food can hardly do that anymore! Limited seating, about six booths and a couple high tops.but we had no problem getting a table either time. No fountain drinks but bottled and canned pop and beer. Cool video games and pinball machines crowd the dining area. Parking in the area is tough. You’d have to expect that in a mid city neighborhood. You’ll have to search for a spot but respect the Neighbors and make sure you don’t park in front of a driveway. If you love burgers and local places, you need to hit up Bub’s!

The food is delicious, definitely one of the best burgers I've had. The atmosphere has a retro vibe, with arcade games and pinball. Limited indoor seating, but also has outdoor tables. Note- they do not serve alcohol.

Been hearing good things about this place and finally tried it. I was not disappointed! Burgers were great as well as the brussel sprouts!

I finally got to go here and check it out after several friends recommended it to me. I decided to try out the peanut butter burger.. Hey, ya only live once, right? WOW! It was amazing! The cashier was extremely friendly and personable and so were the other patrons. It’s a small place but people seem to eat and go with a lot of carry out orders. They are very generous with the servings of fries. If you love burgers and are looking for a place to eat I’d put Bub’s at the top of your list.

The grilled onions on this burger are what set it apart! So delicious!! And the service was friendly and quick. Parking right in front was easy at lunchtime. Definitely coming back!

These burgers are so damn good. Always worth giving the special a go.

Their burgers are AMAZING!! Sadly they don’t have a fully vegan option unless you want a lettuce wrapped burger since their buns are only brioche BUT they do hade an impossible burger! Their fries and onion rings are good, especially when you put them in the burger. Their Bubs sauce is like a mayonnaise sauce but not, I don’t exactly know how to describe it but they don’t spare any expense with putting the toppings on!

Ordered for pickup. Order was ready really fast. Impossible burgers were really good. If you're an impossible burger kinda person, I highly recommend adding an egg on top. Egg add on is only 1$ and they cooked it perfectly with yoke coming out in the first bite. My very picky daughter loved her impossible burger too. Thanks for dinner!

I couldn't wait for my husband to try this. I was so excited building up to this experience. I already tried the burger at work for lunch but wanted my husband a guru of burger to try it out. We walked into a .small comfortable atmosphere. I was hopefully expecting better customer service for such a small business.....Just to be clear, I was not treated rudely. The hostess had no expression or excitement, just a blank stare. I can't remember if she asked me what my order was?? My enthusiasm was killed. Needless to say the burger was good, they used a very curious sauce. The onion rings were good, and I wasn't offered any ice for my drinks again. There was no warm customer service, so I didn't ask either. We spent $44 and some change for 2 burgers fries onion ring and 2 chilled drinks. Tell me what you think 🤔

I still have dreams about that jalapeño popper burger, but the rodeo adobo burger is also amazing, and don’t know knock it til you try it when it comes to the peanut bubbler, as a peanut better lover that sandwich is delicious. Its so hard to choose between the cheese fries and the Brussel sprouts because you truly cant go wrong with either. The best burgers in the city and i happily recommend it to anyone who will listen.

Very solid overall, but the burgers are greasy. I ordered the special for the week, 2 patties with a Kool Aid drink. I thought they made their own Kool Aid, but nah, it’s the kid’s Kool Aid. As for the burger, the basic 2 patty is $8 (and $12 for their special burgers). I like it. It’s on the level of 5 Guys’ but better and LOCAL. Fries? I like em. Slight crunch, and I’m a fry guy so props to a solid fry. Their Brussels sprouts? Dope. $6 with crunch and a slightly sweet sauce. 5 out of 5 star…although when you eat all of it and the flakes are in the sauce, it’s too sweet for me. Overall, cool spot. Solid burger. Solid fries. Okay drink deal. But excellent Brussel sprouts!

We had an amazing burger experience! My spouse and I enjoyed a delightful evening at this restaurant. We tried the Impossible Burger. The burgers were fantastic, with fresh and flavorful ingredients. The service was excellent, the staff were very welcoming and friendly. We will definitely be back! 🍔⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Me and my aunt visited this place and we are both disappointed. For $12.50 I would think the burger would be bigger and more fulfilling. I am an adult who do not like to be served kid sized meals. In addition, This is the first place I’ve ever been to that doesn’t include french fries with their burgers. The $8 onions rings looked and tasted like they were store bought and fried in weeks old crease. In fact, the crease was so old tgat it was tge only smell coming from the bag But what was really disappointing was the amount of food for tge price was very disappointing. If I had to rate this place on taste, quality, quantity, atmosphere, & customer service, on a scale of 1-10 I would give it a 6.5. On taste alone I give it an 8. Overall the burger was good just disappointed in the size.

This place has character. From the moment you walk up to the build, to the memes on the wall. I got the mushroom bacon Swiss and it lived up to my expectations completely. The price isn't bad either. I'd eat here anytime it gets suggested by friends.

I was having the worst experience at biscuits and buns next door. So my girls and I walked down the street and found Bub's! It was amazing the food, the atmosphere, and the service was top notch! Definitely one of NOLA's hidden gems

It wasn't bad , I got 2 burgers, 2 onions rings, and fries. It would have been better if I had eaten there , the oninon rings were a little overcooked the burgers needed salt and peper they tasted plain, the fries were perfect. I might come back if it's on my way.

I slept on this place for so long but since I’ve tried it I go every week. Great smash burgers and sides, cool atmosphere (bring quarters if you wanna play pinball or arcade machines) and good service. Highly recommend checking them out.

Bub's is easily a NOLA classic. The story, food, location, and the staff are incredible and make you feel like family, like a "Bub". I highly encourage you all to give them a try, especially if you are in the Mid City area. Quality for such a great price. Much love to the Bub's fam and to the late Rand Owens!

The food is good, but $17 for just a burger with no side or drink is wild. Especially for a restaurant that is quick service, not table service…

This place was highly raved about in a local food post, and I'm glad I found it because I never knew they existed. The place reminded me of an old bar, and the revamped place with old video game machines was nostalgic. There's a few tables inside and also a few picnic tables outside, too. Service was extremely fast! From the time my order was placed, to the time it was ready was not even ten minutes. Not sure how many people they had in the kitchen but kudos to you (or y'all)! And yes, everything was hot. Smash cheeseburgers were nice and melty, brussel sprouts were plentiful, and onion rings too. They have a great, affordable happy hour, too. Valid Tuesday-Friday from 3-5PM. $5 Bub burgers and $1 off sides. Can't beat it!

Not only a fun and unique place to get a burgers, but the food itself is on point. I had the Bub burger since it was my first visit. Good crispy char on the patty, soft bun but it holds up. Side of onion rings was about perfect. I did try the ranch for the onion rings and it was super good. Friendly staff and they’re open till 10:00 pm. Can’t ask for more than that.

When we visit NOLA we always visit Bub's; especially during happy hour. I was happy to hear they are opening a food truck in my area of TX, but sad to see it's going to cost more for the burgers. This NOLA location has limited seating. Good filter water, which i appreciate. Place is busy especially with to-go orders but you will get your order pretty fast. Bub's burger is my favorite. Patties are smashed and thin so always get double patties. That one is $8.50. The bbq bacon cheddar burger is good but a bit pricey $12. Cheese fries are okay. Probably wouldn't order it again and that was $7. Definitely recommend visiting them especially during happy hour!!!

The Royale 7.8/10 The Rodeo Adobo 8.6/10 Fries 6.0/10 They have glass bottled sprite, coke, and Barq's rootbeer. Also, they served their burgers on metal trays lines with paper, paper cup for the fries, but use these Styrofoam circles to place the burgers on. They are so close to reducing their single use plastics. I hope when I return to try their tasty burgers, they will have stopped using the Styrofoam.

When my dog stole my goal weight reward cheeseburger, I drive back here to reorder (and they gave me a discount). When that same dog I loved was about to breathe his last breath, I sent him out on this cheeseburger. When a five star restaurant bottomed out on a special occasions, I corrected it with this cheeseburger. This is the best burger in NOLA, and some of the best staff around, and that’s saying a hell of a lot.

Food was delicious! I got the Patti melt with fries and a strawberry lemonade. So fresh and light. Customer service needs a lil help in my opinion but the food made up for it!

The girl that took my order was short with dark hair. Very helpful in helping me pick out what to order. Following her lead, I ordered the Rodeo Adobo with cheese fries. It was perfect! Just the right amount of all the flavors. Halfway through my meal, I decided to place a second order for the mushroom bacon Swiss burger (her second recommendation), and it too was a great burger. Finished it off with a canned cream soda and was more than satisfied. Excellent experience

Bub’s is a must if you’re ever in Nola. The food is delicious, atmosphere is great, & the owner is a super dude.

Great burger joint. I loved everything about it, small, cute, and different. I myself don't eat to many condiments, so when I eat a burger, I look for the flavor in the meat and bun. I wish the frys had a different seasoning other than salt, like some type of fry seasoning that they make their own. Others than that it's a great place.

That's a great burger! We ordered the BBQ Cheddar Burger. It was juicy, flavourful and cooked just right. The flavors melded together perfectly and none were overpowering. We also got the fries and they did not disappoint. Seasoned just right and just the right amount of crisp to them. After reading all of the reviews, we had to get the brussel sprouts! They were good! A little sweetness, a little spice and cooked just enough to be tender and not mushy. Run to Bubs! You'll thank me later.

I ordered the Bub's burger and it was one of the best smash burgers I had in a long time. The service was great even though it was carryout. The only hit was I ordered onion rings but when I arrived home it was fries in the bag. By the way the fries were great.

Its a cool place but very pricey for what you get. Like others stated parking is hard to find. It was indeed very warm inside and the burgers are very greasy so plan ahead if you have issues with that! Staff was friendly. I feel like this may be a place for transplants more than locals though. Two burgers, 1 fry and two canned sodas almost $40.

we saw advertisements for Bubs Nola so decided to check it out for lunch. When i got there i realized they had taken over the spot where Trillys used to be. the place was very busy with outdoor seating; it did take a while for the food so the plentiful seating helped. we ordered the single patty hamburger, the grilled cheese, cheese fries, and brussels sprouts. the brussels sprouts were AMAZING! some of the best i’ve ever had (and others around me agreed). the patty abd grilled cheese were decent and the cheese fries ok. overall good food in a nice atmosphere

pretty good overall! i got the burger special (havarti, garlic aioli, bacon, crispy onion) and tried some brussel sprouts — food was a little cold, but they were pretty busy service was hyper fast, flavors overall pretty good but could’ve used… spice? salt? a lil somethin would come back !!

If you like thin, crispy smash burgers, get your butt over here! I personally love both smash burgers and big juicy burgers but picked this place for my son who only likes the thin crispy burgers. The bun is firm enough to hold up unlike lots of places with smash burgers that have buns that soak up the grease - this burger was not greasy! It was also toasted slightly and with a double, it was the perfect bun to meat ratio. They have both cheddar and American so another win for me and my son because he prefers American and I prefer cheddar. I tried the Bub's sauce on the side and found myself dipping even though I normally take my burgers without condiments. Next time I want to get the grilled onions. We shared a cheese fry and that was nothing to write home about but certainly not bad - it came with skinny fries topped with melted cheddar and a mild cheese sauce. They also had glass bottle Cokes. Service was excellent, bathroom was clean, and the place was adorable inside and out. They have a bunch of video game machines inside and a mural by my favorite local street artist, Mr. Balloon Hands. I live across the lake but this will 100% be my go to burger place for smash burgers (for a thick juicy burger, it's Beach Corner) in the city. Only thing that bummed me is that Bub's is located where Trilly Cheesteak used to be and I wish we could have both.

This place is so iconic. The Brussel Sprouts are insanely good. The burger we one of the best burgers I've had in a while. The atmosphere was chill and relaxed. The art was really cool. The staff was very kind and accommodating. Will definitely be back for more!

My boyfriend Ron G. and I went on 8/12/23 and we have never had a burger that tasted so good. I had the impossible burger but it was homemade with eggs on it OMG it was delicious! The place was clean it was a little hot but hey the food took our minds off the heat😂 thanks Ron (the owner name Ron too), we will be back!
