First time eating here, and I absolutely loved everything about this place! Great food, GREAT and friendly service!

Best southern food. Service was amazing.

We were in a party of 16. They were ready for us when we arrived. Everyone we interacted with was very pleasant and friendly. They did a great job serving so many people. The slaw was to my personal liking, but it was still good. The tartar sauce was quite good. The catfish had a good clean flavor and was well prepared. We were the first ones there, but when we left there was a lobby crowded with people waiting their turn to be delighted.

Always a great atmosphere. Like a family gathering!

My parents Glenda and Clyde brought us here on our vacation to visit them from Minnesota. Absolutely blown away. Amazing food, atmosphere, and people.

I hate to give such a bad review, but we had a rather disappointing experience last night. I've been to this restaurant a few times over the years. The catfish is excellent, and it was again last night. The problem is that we had to wait over an hour to eat, after ordering. Furthermore, the people running this place have no clue how to handle a situation like this. This place would be much better with good management.

My Grandmother's 108th BIRTHDAY "Lillie Mae Word" dinner was hosted here. The service was exceptional and the staff were amazing. Thank you Friendship House for an unforgettable experience!

I have not eaten here in a long time, probably since before COVID. The food was excellent, the staff was attentive and friendly. The fried shrimp and oysters tasted crispy and savory. As always, the catfish is fantastic! I'm definitely going back more often!

Where you always see friends. They are known for serving catfish and it's '"All you can eat" catfish & hush puppies. You have other dishes also. Everything is good. Friendship house known for its informality. More likely than not, you'll end up seeing somebody you know there. Down south if we're out somewhere to casual restaurant. We don't think twice about shouting out to a long time friend or neighbors who you haven't seen in some time. way to someone you know Since I now live in Vineland, NJ

Their pork chops are to die for. They were tender and juicy....mmmmm extremely delicious!! Also their homemade onion rings are yummy!

Hands down the best pork chops I have EVER eaten!!!! The owners and staff are beyond accommodating, helpful, and attentive. Best place anywhere near Amory to eat! They are a little off the beaten path, but the food is more than worth the short drive! I would sleep in a tent year round in the parking lot if these guys were open 7 days a week 😁 And you have to get the brownie ala mode with chocolate sauce, made in house ❤🤯

Every since I was a little girl I have always enjoyed coming to the friendship house and eating me some good fish.

We got there just as they were opening up. Food was hot and delicious.

Myself and some brothers came to Amory Mississippi to serve the community due to tornadoes. We were recommended to come and eat at Friendship house. They truly stand by that name from the moment we went in we felt welcomed and loved, I felt like I was at home and my family was serving us. The sweat tea was really good! Hush puppies wow! I loved the fried shrimp and cat-fish and I will not forget about the hand made onion rings super! After the waitress allowed us to pray for them and the owners came out and they were amazing as well. It was an honor to come and eat at this wonderful place. Great food and better people! They drive there makes it hard to believe there's even a place back there. Once you get inside it's a really friendly cozy little place and the food is amazing.

Coming from a northeastern state the deep south setting was just lovely. We had to wait a while for our food because they were so terrible busy but once we got it boy howdy was it good!!. Would definitely recommend this out of the way place if you want good catfish!

You have to eat at The Friendship House. The food is absolutely mouthwatering. The service is extremely good and is very friendly, too! It has sort of a fantastic old-school, family atmosphere. We will continue to support their business, and they continue to spoil us with the best possible experiences! This place is always packed on the weekends, and it deserves to be! It is a "must eat at" restaurant!

I’ve been coming here with family since I was little and finally got to go back at 49. This place is the ultimate for awesome food and great fellowship and now that I’m back home, I’ll be eating here way too much I’m sure. Everything is SO good

This place makes you feel at home and they have awesome food. If you don't like it, please let them know they will make it right! For a small restaurant they have an great salad bar as well. I really wanted to taste one of the pies made by the owner but she just got back from a much-deserved vacation

The best catfish and seafood in the area, you cant go wrong if you want good quality food and a relaxed friendly atmosphere, go see Doug and Stephina 6 miles outside of Aberdeen and 8 miles from hwy 45.

So... they have been in business 36 years and I had not been in 24 years!.... they did not disappoint.... steak and shrimp was best I've had in a while. Salad bar was wonderful. But the fudge brownie alamode was phenomenal!!!... can't wait to go back... bring your wife, your kids, grab your neighbors.. they will thank you.

Great atmosphere and friendly staff. My only recommendation would be to add a hamburger steak to the menu for people who don't eat fish or steak but still come with families to eat. Also a hamburger/cheeseburger would be good. No options really for kids. Love the hushpuppies!!!

Service was good. Steak was very grisly. Food came out hot. Catfish and hushpuppies were perfect. Price was about 10% higher than I feel it was worth. Restaurant atmosphere was comfortable.

Weekend place to go. We are there every Saturday night. Food is awsome.
