Great go-to spot for ice cream in the Waterford area. Many different hard serve flavors but also has soft serve, sorbet and novelties. Shakes, sundaes, and mix-in type options available. Always my first option in the area.

Great service & a great environment with ton of seating outdoors (as well as some inside) and a large outdoor play area for kids. The portion sizes were huge - both what we ordered and what we saw being served to others. It was a hot summer evening when we were there, and very busy! The ice cream was branded as Hershey’s, which doesn’t seem to be the highest quality, but this was still worth checking out to experience the shop itself.

Very pricey look to spend 10$ or more per person

The people that serve, you are extremely nice, but the ice cream isn’t handmade or handspun. It is Hershey ice cream. I love the place for the insane amount of toppings and being able to serve non-dairy ice cream.

This place was exactly what my husband and I were looking for! Creative menu with great prices and delicious ice cream! Can’t wait to come back!

Enjoyed the banana split, which was delicious. But was a little disappointed since the ice cream was not handmade there and the price was a little high

Ice cream is excellent. The parking in the back overflow lot can be a bit jumbled so you need to pay attention backing up.

It's like a Baskin Robins only with a Ma & Pop feel. Many choices and options including custard and soft-serve. Butterfinger with Soft serve French Vanilla was delicious.

Can you spare the hot fudge?! All for only $8 for a small size sundae! I live 6 houses from this place and I'm constantly reminded by their inconsistency why I should just drive to DQ in Niantic!

Great ice cream with many options. Dairy free too. There is sorbet, Italian ice, soft serve and hard ice cream. Good outdoor seating but parking can be iffy. Would recommend!

What a cute spot. There is indoor and outdoor seating and it's set up so cute with tables and a little dingy. The ice cream was delicious and I love that they use fresh fruit. They offer so many choices from sugar free to whips and lactose free.

Wonderful local creamery, very helpful and friendly staff. Good ingredients and their Dole Pineapple and Watermelon sorbet have no colors!!!!!! The ice cream is always smooth, creamy, tasty, and full of chunks. An absolute local go-to, if you're in the area or a little bit of a drive it is so worth it. Variety of flavors for the regular cream based ice cream lover as well as dairy free, no sugar added and frozen yogurt options which are all good.

So I went during “off season” and on a cloudy day. But I’ve heard the place gets slamming during the summer, and parking can be an issue. Though it wasn’t for me. But! Man! That was some delicious ice cream! I ordered it online, and picked it up within a few minutes. It was perfect, not hard as a rock, and not melted! The only thing I really can say as a negative, is the price. Don’t get me wrong, it was filling and satisfying, but I think it was just under $20 for what I got, and it was just me. I will definitely go again though! lol.

Absolutely the best I’ve can I have ever had. The owner was great and offered samples. I went with the keylime pie and it was fantastic!

I absolutely love cowslick. There ice cream is so so amazing my favorite is superman and it's so good. I hope they stay open all year around. Because who doesn't eat ice cream in the winter as well? I hope you stay open all year round! I will miss my superman ice cream so much! I love your store and ice cream sooooo much best place ever!!

Hershey’s ice cream. Pretty gross and filled with chemicals. The staff was friendly. Prices ridiculous!

This ice cream is A+ approved by my 94 yr old father, Dan. The No Sugar Added "Turtle" option - which we never knew was actually BUTTER PECAN, my dad's all time fav flav from childhood, makes it so worth the trip. As a diabetic with dementia, he must watch his sugar levels while still creating meaningful memories with us even if it is a new memory for him every day.💜🍦

Good ice cream no frills or thrills. It hits the spot mid week when the sweet tooth comes out . It can be a little sloppy / rushed but it will do.

This was the first time we stopped in Cowlicks for some ice cream. We both ordered a specialty sundae & found out why it was so special. It came in a regular cup that was jammed packed with ice cream & goodness. I was amazed at how much ice cream was stuffed in that cup, not to mention how delicious it was. I was also impressed with the crew that worked there. They were very organized, fast & extremely friendly. It was nice to stop for ice cream at a place that made sure your entire party was served their ice cream at the same time. It's the little things that matter. Keep up the good service. We will be back.

Love the cappuccino crunch ice cream. This one of my favorite ice cream shops. It is pricey but worth evert penny. They have a huge grassy area for the kids to run around on.

Cute little place. The ice cream was good, but they were out of many flavors and not many chocolate based ice creams to chose from. My husband and I got the same flavor (midnight caramel). I had a lot of chocolate in mine and he barely had any.

My family and I stopped by this place after being all day on the beach last Saturday. The ice cream was phenomenal and the staff? Super friendly and professional. They made sure we had a good experience and the kids enjoyed it too. We tried the hot fudge sundae, banana pudding flavored ice cream (which is literally to DIE for) a banana split and a plain ole chocolate cup with sprinkles. Everything was delicious! Will definitely be stopping by again hopefully soon!

Amazing ice cream!! There’s not a bad choice available . Nothing left but a napkin you had holding the cone that may or may not be wet from it melting depending upon how fast you devoured it!
