Good: The burgers were really good. Their prices are very fair. The service was fairly quick. Bad: The fries were over-cooked and there was a hair in my husband’s burger.

We love the BurgerBus! Great burgers and always friendly! This is the kenai's version of in-n-out. A simple menu but delicious food. This is not a 5star fine diner.... it is as the name suggest... a converted bus that slings Burgers! There may be a wait but it is worth it for a delicious burger!

Fantastic food. I always look forward to them opening again in the spring. I don't mind the long line at all, but I did think it'd be a bit hard to defend giving them five stars for service when you have to stand in line for half an hour just to order. If you go in knowing that, it's no problem. People in line at the Burger Bus seem to be more talkative.

This is the place in Kenai …the locals show up so you know it’s good. It takes time to get your food but it’s worth it. We had a Bus Burger and fish sandwich. Both were great for lunch.

Its a very well known place in kenai for a burger. They run out of stuff pretty fast and the lines are long is the only bad thing I have to say about it. Can I maybe suggest a whiteboard of the things you're out of so people know. I waiting 20 minutes and walked away with nothing because they ran out of chili and all I wanted was chili fries😭. Don't knock the place for that tho! They are friendly and the people love this place.

I can unequivocally say this is always a great place to eat. Deb runs an awesome place, and is such a sweet, righteous, person. All of the food is great, and the prices are extremely reasonable. The Killer Kenai Burger is off the hook. Always a must visit when in Kenai and hungry for lunch.

Hands down, one of the best burgers to date. I got a 1/3 bacon cheese, my daughter's got the 1/4 with cheese. We shared a chili cheese fry, and their regular fries. Everything was exactly how we ordered, getting our order taken was very nice, and easy. Yes there was a wait, but well worth it! My little family will be back.

Incredible place - run by a sweet couple for 30 years. We were there for almost an hour and people continually coming so the line never really shortened… Best value in Kenai and arguably the whole Peninsula.

Ok, from the outside it’s not much to look at. But what is inside is absolutely outstanding food. We weren’t sure what to make of it until we saw the crowds outside in line. We highly recommend!

Came in on the first snowfall of the year. I was surprised to find my favorite on the menu! The chicken Hawaiian and it was exactly how it sounds, delicious. Thank you for the delicious meal from an out of towner!

Just an awesome place to get great food. In all my years of traveling I still rave about this place and I haven't been back since 2015! I was lucky enough to have a local tell me to try Burger Bus and in my week long stay must of tried six or seven different options and none of them disappointed. Treat ya self if you're in town!

Decent burgers. Good choice of side options. Reasonable prices and wonderful staff. Sometimes in the summer when they are really busy, the wait time is crazy long. My boyfriend absolutely loves Burger Bus and he would happily stand in line for an hour and then wait another hour for his food.

Just moved here. This place isn't expensive and itd literally the best burger I've had since I can remember. No joke.

Burger Bus is fantastic!!! My family can’t wait till this place is open every season. Try have one of the best burgers we’ve ever had and they cook their fries perfectly. I ordered the B&G which is a bacon and guacamole burger. I’m a small girl and I downed a 1/3 lb burger! Their French fries are so crisp and golden and seasoned so evenly. They are probably the best French fries I’ve had in a long long time. Burger Bus has a great store front as they are literally inside a bus. They have great store decor that is reminiscent of the 80’s with the Simpsons and Peanuts gang. If you haven’t been to the Burger Bus I highly suggest you give it a try and you won’t regret it.

Fantastic food and an exceptional value. I regularly pay the prices here for burgers & fries that aren't near as good. The fries and tots are crispy and golden brown, none of that undercooked nastiness you deal with at mainstream burger restaurants like McDonald's and Burger King. My burger was tasty with nice fresh veggies. The folks at the Burger Bus are experts in the fast food arts and I would definitely eat here again. This is easily one of the best values in Kenai, everyone should make a stop here for a bite to eat, just can't say enough good things about this place.

On motorcycle trips I always seek out locally owned places. This gem was recommended by a local resident. It’s cleverly hidden just off the Kenai Spur Highway across the road from tge visitors center. It is indeed a school bus turned into an eatery and it was busy during a Wednesday lunch rush. I had about a 15 minute wait for one of the better burgers I’ve ever had. When I go to an unfamiliar restaurant I always ask, “If I only eat here once in my life, what would you order?”. In this case I was advised to order the Kenai Killer Burger. The 1/3 pound burger with fries cost $11.45. It comes with bacon, cheese, lettuce, onion, tomato, jalapeños and chilies. It was delicious. Be sure to grab a handful of napkins to bring back to your picnic table. I highly recommend this place.

When looking for a old fashioned burger without the bs, this is the stop. Great food and better prices.

We saw recommendations on Trip Advisor and our FB page RVing to Alaska 2022. We decided to try and were very happy we did. The bus is cool! The owner said it actually runs, however they haven’t needed to move. They have been in operation for 30 years! Burgers and fries were great and well worth the price. They have a great local draw as well as several tourists like ourselves. Even though busy at lunchtime she got the orders out quickly. Right behind the Visitor’s Center, they are well worth visiting!!!

Such a fun experience and the food is delicious. Plan on a 20 minute wait to get your food. Also, when they run out of something, they run out.

20 minute wait time but these burgers are excellent. The sweet pickles are a nice addition. If you don't enjoy sweet they offer Dill as well. There is also chicken and fish options as well. 6 picnic tables available if you wish to sit in the sun. Nice area to walk around while you wait. Historic area of Kenai Alaska.

A nice touch of flair, having a burger joint operated out of a bus. That alone makes the place memorable- it's even catchy! The burgers and sides were excellent, and even though it was a somewhat busy time, the service was surprisingly quick. They even gave a hot dog to my dog! I'll definitely be coming back here next time I'm in Kenai- although I've heard they're closed during the winter.

If you not from Kenai Alaska definitely you want to stop eat killer burger, fries or onion rings there are the best burger in town and affordable price

Liked the smaller burger - the Bus Burger. It’s a good basic no frills burger. Can substitute dill pickles for sweet. If they are busy, be patient. It’s a tiny kitchen in a bus and worth the wait. They are accurate in how long your wait will be. Crowded at dinner time when families order. Burger was cooked medium well. Limited parking. Lots of picnic tables for outdoor eating in the right season.

The wait was unreasonable unless they were grinding the meat themselves. A hour wait after we ordered. Burgers were good even though our order was messed up. The staff was friendly and the locals in line were nice.

The only truly best burgers in town of kenai AK. Hands down. Most days they sell out early so get there before 3pm if you want food. Don't bother trying to call or order online. It's first come first serve. Boy is it worth it. These two women n there help know what they are doing. Don't believe me go check them out be your own judge. They also have salads n chicken. Some the best fried mushrooms I've had any where from here to Oregon.

Burger Bus is great. The food, the service and the professionalism/friendliness. Highly recommend it, if you haven't tried it yet.

So my wife and I disagree on this place. I thought my patty melt was good - not the best I've ever had but I liked the food. However, my wife got the Kenai Killer and she didn't dislike it but said "the burger is bland, the meat itself needs to have some flavor." It got me thinking about the meat on the patty melt and she was right. Nothing wrong with choosing this place. It is clearly a local favorite and it will definitely fill you for the day. But it begs the question, is it worth waiting 20 minutes? I'll leave that for you to decide.
