Came in the other night for a quick dinner with the family. 2 staff member sitting up against the railing inside the store by the register talking with staff in the back. Manager who was working the Drive thru asked a staff member to come take our order 2 times and his response was don't tell me what to do. Waited several more minutes while being the only customers in the building. Finally walked out as we never received service. Food marked 1 star as never even got to place a order and there was a pile of premade food on the heater. Service got a 1 because 0 star is not a option. Atmosphere a 1 because employees treated job as play time and gossip time over taking care of the customer. Fully understand why this company franchises have been filing Bankruptcy.

It has taken too long on several occasions to get food. I order online and have to go inside to get my food. Or wait over 30 minutes In drive-thru. When I went inside,3 people inside up front were having a conversation not acknowledging I walked in and stood at the front counter by myself for 4 minutes before someone asked me what could they do for me. They continued standing around with a line at the drive thru almost out of they're parking lot. But when the guy walked in with the company that owns or manages the place everyone got busy then. I thought they were short staffed. They are,but work with what you have to keep the flow moving. It will keep down drive offshore and wasted food.

This is the SLOWEST fast food place I've ever visited. Honestly, it's been this way for years. I come here more than I'd like due to the convenience of the location. I know there are time goals that drive thru's aim for but there is NO WAY this location comes even close. I'm in the drive thru currently and people have left the line. I'm really surprised this issue has persisted for so long. I'm leaving the line now, too. I get my food faster at a sit-down restaurant.

The supposedly manager Jessica? I asked her name. But on the receipt it says Marissa? she was soo unprofessional and nasty. She handed me my drink no straw and shut the window. Now mind you I was the only person in line at drive through. I waited 10 minutes? Everyone was more worried about cutting up and laughing with other employees. We were going through the drive through 04/19 @ approx 1pm. Whomever the female taking orders was must've been having an awful day. She was very rude, snappy, and unprofessional. We left. I stopped for a quick bite at 8:15 pm and ordered the DUO. The burger was stone cold like it came out of the fridge and so small it was a joke. The chicken wrap was the same, virtually no chicken. The kid manager whipped up a replacement and it, the whole sandwich, was so hot it burned my hand, microwaved it completely not just the patty. Don't go here this is ongoing for years.

I am unbelievably upset. I waited for over 15 minutes in drive thru to even be greeted. They have a double drive thru lane and I was waiting at the box on the second drive thru lane while the other to the left was backed up and couldn’t move. Instead of me being taken care of first, they took the guy to the left of me who was not waiting at the box. I was so irritated at how long they were taking, lack of communication, lack in f customer service then felt neglected on top of that since they didn’t take orders by first come first serve. Then I tried to ask the cashier about it and she started to raise her voice at me. I believe her name was Latscha or at least that’s what I see on the receipt. Then after I paid I wait another 10 minutes to get my food in drive thru. A total of 30 or so minutes!!!!!!! How is that fast food?! Awful! Worst experience and I won’t be coming back to this one. So upset I was shaking. 🫨 I have worked in customer service as well as the service industry and this was just terrible. There were a ton of employees in there too so whoever the manager is needs to learn how to manage and deploy their people properly.

Service is extremely slow, front counter consistently ignored, woman who appears to some sort of manager doesn't wash hands ever. Watched her play with her mouth then handle food. Same woman also puts fry and chicken fry utensils on unclean surface, plays with her phone, and eats behind the counter. Tables are dirty, floor has trash on it. Management needs to be replaced and the entire crew needs to be re-trained.

It took way too long to get orders. One would think maybe it’s taking so long because they had just run out of what was ordered and now there is a wait to cook the food. NOPE! All the fries were cold. Not warm, cold…and nasty! The whopper with cheese tasted as if it had been sitting ALL day. It was so nasty I couldn’t even stomach the taste of it. I threw the sandwich in the garbage rather than force myself to eat any more of it. I live in Winter Haven. I was on my way to Lakeland to see my brother and pickup my son and nephew. My brother asked me to pick up Burger King for himself, my son, and my nephew on my way to him. I asked what’s the nearest location so the food wouldn’t be cold driving from a further distance. He told me the Harden Blvd. Burger King was the closest to his location. After finally receiving my order, I tasted the fries after driving off. The fries tasted cold and old. I don’t know how long the food had been sitting, but I think I would’ve been better off going to the Winter Haven or Auburndale location. The service was so incredibly slow that a lady got out of her car and walked to the drive-thru window with money in her hand to pay for her order. She asked how much longer it would be for her order of fries!! She was not happy about the total she was given, as she must’ve placed two separate orders only to find out the orders were not separated. I used to love the Whopper and Whopper Jr. sandwiches. Not anymore. This experience was so bad I didn’t even taste the signature flame-broiled flavor. I will NEVER eat at this location again! I may even be done with Burger King altogether. Horrible experience!

UPDATE#2. We stopped by to get something to eat. I'm not sure if it was the manager or who, but one of the employees was very frustrated and not afraid to show it in front of the customers. Yelling at other employees, in front of customers, is not a good idea UPDATE. Despite the fact that the mask mandate for Lakeland expired in early October, there is still a sign on the door that masks are required, DUE TO LOCAL MANDATE. Um, no. The food was good, hot, and tasty. They even got my special order right. It just took nearly 20 minutes to get our food, and the restaurant was uncomfortably cold.

Came in for my food - the drink machine wasn’t mixed well so we asked the man in the white shirt for a drink from the front and was ill advised and spoken down to. The Asst manager gave us the refund for our food. The lady with the braid up front told them to microwave our food and told my husband to go sit down. I understand times are hard but customer service is something everyone has to be apart of and effective communication goes along way and prevents these 1 star reviews. FOOD IS ALWAYS UNDER COOKED OR OVER COOKED AND NEVER HAVE FRAPPES AVAILABLE, i go to every other McDonald’s and they have frappes available at all times, its hot and people want cold drinks.
