Went for lunch Aug. 28. Have a small 8 1/2 lbs. Certified Service Dog that was in a carrier. Employees gave us a hard time about letting us in. Against the law. Went and got the Manager. Manager said dog had to be on the floor not in the carrier. Said it was new TN law. The new law has to do with Therapy & Emotional Support not Service Dogs. Restaurants supposed to mKe it accommodating for us. I told her not true and she said it was. I looked it up to make sure, she is wrong. There is no new TN law saying Service Dog has to be on the floor. Not on a chair but can be in a carrier or stroller. She needs to be trained on the law and on being nice to customers. She finally let us eat on the porch in the heat. It was 96. Didn't enjoy our visit. Been going there for many years and this may be our last. Manager needs to be terminated. No excuse for not knowing the ADA laws. A customer behind us thought she was being stupid, his words. She made a nice afternoon a bad experience. I am a 2 time Cancer survivor with a heart that was damaged by a lot of Chemo. I don't need this kind of aggravation. Bush Beans should be ashamed.

Wasn't sure what to expect and was very pleasantly surprised👍 Located in a beautiful country farm setting. Plenty of parking and easy to access visitor center, store and cafe. Super friendly staff greeters guide you to the different areas in the visitor center. Many short videos giving family and business history. Super cute items in their gift shop along with every kind of Bush's beans you can think of! Cafe was super busy, but not a long wait. Nice menu with different options and they serve you an appetizer of their beans of the day too sample. Very fun visit!

Family friendly, great for a quick stop on the way home from Pigeon Forge. We went earlier, and wished the cafe was open; or maybe that they would sell the pinto pecan pie by the slice in the gift shop. We wanted to try it! Also, Bean Dog Collars!

The museum was neat to see the history of the Bush bean plant. You only get to sample the beans if you intend to eat. We got to the restaurant around 12:30 and were told for our party of 7 it would be about 15 min wait. Ok no problem. 45 min later as they kept seating people walking in after us we finally asked what was going on. They said they didn't have a table to seat us at and they were waiting for 2 near one another to clear. About an hour after we arrived it was ready, 2 tables adjacent to one another. Food was mediocre. Most of the sweet potato fries we got were burnt. Do the museum but skip the food.

I honestly just stumbled across this place while going to try a local trout farms trout lunch. I had no idea the Bush family was from this area and so much of the company's production is still being done right here where the original farmhouse still stands.
