Awesome place with so many items grown on-site, too many to list- almost every fruit that is reasonable to grow in central NH. Awesome hard cider selection! Went to an event- unfortunately there were only 2 food trucks and way more people than they had brought food for- both trucks completely ran out of food- I waited 45 minutes in line and could only order one thing. I’m sure the next event will be better planned- food trucks don’t have unlimited storage and predicting demand is hard for remote events like this. Would definitely go back. Beautiful and fun for the family.

If you are looking to pick your own fruit in a beautiful setting, then look no further. Butternut has it all and more. The owners are the nicest people and will even stop by my house to kindly remind me that it's past time to have pruned my own peach trees. Prices are great for the best tasting, freshest fruit around. The farm is well managed and the cider house is definitely worth a visit while you're there. I recommend trying some of everything.

Beautiful farm! Plentiful and a high-quality picking conditions. Good prices. There are also some animals to see and freshly made cider donuts for the kiddos. A real gem!

Great strawberry picking, friendly staff, cute goats, clean restrooms, amazing hot cider donuts, strawberry juice dripping down chins. Will definitely go back! It was just as good a year later and my kids went nuts over the peacocks. I also recommend a cider flight and/or growler and I found out they sell fruit trees as well.

Great strawberries. Wanted to stop after work but they close so early. Very busy on a Saturday. Had a great time will be back for cherries.

The kids love going there. The kids love looking at the animals and picking Strawberries. We enjoy apple cider donuts and honey. Cherries, Apples and just walking around.

Update: after visiting last fall we tried it for strawberries and it's just as awesome. But this place is no secret so plan for it to be busy. Beautiful farm and friendly staff. The hard cider was a fun adult treat and the donuts were to die for. 😋

Amazing apples, friendly people, lots of memories and they have cider and apple cider donuts. Give yourself an hour to enjoy the whole experience and even grab some photos by the pumpkin patch.

Went for pumpkins unfortunately missed all the good fruit I love picking here this year. Apple cider donuts here are amazing and a quick grab.

Both me and my wife went this past weekend. The apple picking experience is by far one of the best I've ever been to. Cider is amazing, and the food truck was a plus. Will definitely swing by again.

Worth the trip for the selection of apples they have and the beautiful walk around the farm. Be sure to grab some cider donuts and maybe a whoopie pie or two! If you're old enough, their hard cider is amazing too! Try the flight, you won't be disappointed!!

Come for the donuts and cider. Not so sure about those apples. Every single Ripe tree had bland, mealy, pale apples. Not sure what was wrong. Every apple I tried from each tree tasted like school lunch apples.

My kids were raised on family trips to Butternut Farms. So, I'm biased when I give the experience praise. It's the quintessential outside excursion on a crisp October day, but they're also open for all the other fruit picking seasons too. You've got your apples, your peaches, your pumpkins, your fresh, hot apple cider donuts, and flights of fresh ciders that are all delicious. My only complaint is how overcrowded the place can get midday on a popular weekend. But c'est la vie.

This farm, located in Farmington, New Hampshire, is our absolute favorite. It offers fruits for every season, beginning with strawberries, blueberries, peaches, pumpkins, and apples. A typical visit usually lasts 2-3 hours. One delightful feature is the opportunity to taste and purchase ciders, but the real highlight is the hot and delicious donuts they serve. The staff is exceptionally friendly, and there's ample parking available, including overflow parking when needed. We have a deep affection for this place, and it's apparent that it's a family-owned operation. Their passion for farming shines through in the way they run this wonderful establishment.

We go here every year for the last 16 years. They always have perfect apples. Now the kids are older, they enjoy the hard cider! Plus the cider doughnuts are crazy!

Besides the huge array of apples, cherries, peaches, blueberries, and much more. It's a great place. Also have a hard cider stand. Lots of good stuff.

I spent the afternoon with my beautiful adult daughters picking mac's and honeycrisp. We're all coming back as other varieties ripen. Butternut Farm is the G.O.A.F. greatest of all farms!!! Just go.

This was our first time here, but we will definitely be back often! My young son loved picking all the various fruits, seeing the animals, and eating cider donuts. We adults also loved all of the above, but additionally enjoyed a flight of the hard ciders they had to try. The shop had their own (kid friendly) cider, honey, maple syrup, a variety of whoopie pies and other tasty treats, jellies, salsas, and more. The farm was easy to get to, and had plenty of parking. If you're looking for a fun filled day, this is the place!

Always a treat to go each fall for a bag of Honey Crisp apples fresh off the tree. Children and adults can take part in a fall tradition. There are a few goats to see. And this year we enjoyed seeing the young peafowl babies! We brought our own apples to identify what was wrong with them and what might help to prevent the issues in the future.

We are in Alton Bay on vacation from Florida. We just happened to see the sign for the farm and decided to check it out. It was a fun unexpected excursion. Great experience. Great people at the farm. Lots of varieties of blueberries and apples. We will definitely be back the next time we are in the area.
