Love the view and the ambiance, definitely recommend!

Really spectacular food. Very authentic German. The beer on tap was right off the boat, heffe, helles, dunkels, I had the peppercorn schnitzel and really enjoyed it. The wait staff was super friendly and helpful too. Even got to see a dolphin out of the window playing in the water.

Best German on space coast. Even with limited German options, it's great overall, give it try.

Beautiful sunset, great authentic german food, good beer list, and a cozy atmosphere. While the apple strudel was great, the black Forrest cake was incredibly light and layered. Combo plate with sauerbraten, Jager schnitzel, wurst was excellent. I definitely recomend!

The food is amazing, the view is fantastic casual classy place, family friendly it is a hidden gem in melbourne beach.

Great Ribeye steak. Perfect proportions.

This is a hidden gem and favorite of ours especially when you're in the mood for something meaty! The only thing I don't care for here is the sauer braten...too sweet and thick a sauce for my taste. Everything else is fantastic. Very meat heavy. The sadly that cines with all the entrees as well as the potato pouf are perfect.

I ate here with my parents. The food was really good! Nice place to eat to the sunset.

Of all, Caitlyn was the best . She is so patience and helpful. I would recommend this place for the view and the waitress Caitlyn.

Great place to catch a sunset and a meal.

This is by far my favorite restaurant in the area. The food is always excellent and if you sit in the back room there is a nice view of the river. This visit we had the Jaeger schnitzel and the flatiron steak rubbed with coffee, cocoa and cumin. Both were great with a side of spaetzle. And don't forget dessert, the apple streudel is delicious.

We came in yesterday late afternoon just after opening and was surprised at how busy it already was. Mother's Day, well that's to be expected. The wait was only about 30 minutes and the bar staff was courteous and efficient. Drinks were good and reasonably priced. We are all German (born and raised) so our expectations were pretty high given the good reviews of the place. Then off to the dining room. Our seat was in a corner, good location and semi view of the water. Our waitress was nice, had a mask on so really couldn't tell any emotion but seemed very busy and "short" with us. The salads came first and were delicious. Then the meal promptly. The sausages were delicious, red cabbage was very vinegar, the sptezlel was very stale tasting. My schnitzel was good. Although the saurbraten had a good taste it was very dry. After the meal we had some delicious cappuccino and a piece of wonderful black forest cake. Finally the bill came and to my surprise they charged a custom item fee of $7.00 to my mother's plate as she wanted the spetzel instead of potato salad. We were not aware of this fee otherwise we would have gladly taken the potato salad AND ordered a side of spetzel. Overall I give a 4 star rating in all categories for the reasons listed above. I don't think I will return on a holiday but maybe a day during the week that's not so busy and see how it is. The real disappointment was the hidden charge that no one ever told us we would have. For 3 people with food, drinks and tip it was just over $200 which is close to what I expected.

Long wait. Open tables. However, we were a party of 3, so they wouldnt sit us at the open larger tables. Made us wait an hour. Better things to do with my time. We could have eaten and been gone if they had set us at the bigger table. No one else was waiting behind us.

We arrived around 6 behind several big parties so it took over an hour to get a seat which we expected. No reservations for this restaurant so weekends are busy. We all knew what we wanted by the time we sat down and ordered quickly. We got three different plates and all were worth the wait time. The salad came out within minutes and it is full of marinated cucumbers and is delicious with just the right amount of everything. Perfect start to a great meal. I was afraid of German food until trying this out years ago. The views of dolphins swimming isn’t bad either while you wait on your meal. I see no place for photos on this review.

Super restaurant with consistent food quality and service.

What an excellent dinner experience we had here this evening. My husband and I brought our 2 young children to meet his parents and I just have so many good things to say about this restaurant! Food was great and the service was exceptional! I ordered 1 dinner plate for my girls to share and the kitchen split it onto 2 separate plates beautifully without being asked and also sent applesauce out first for them. It was so thoughtful and unexpected. I got the weiner schnitzel and it was delicious and my husband got a combo type plate that was excellent also! The portions are very generous so you could easily share a plate if you can agree on one but we wanted to try a few things tonight (we had a lot to take back to the hotel for a late night snack) Everyone even the Littles were more than satisfied. I've been to many German restaurants and this one may be my favorite so far. If you like breaded cuts of meat, sausages and potato you should def stop into this gem for dinner! It would be an excellent date spot also ❤️ wish I lived closer!

Authentic German cuisine - very good! View of the river and sunset was delightful. Slant of the porch (half of the dining area) could have foiled our apple strudel dessert, but we turned the plate around so the ice cream stayed on the plate. Ha.

They were very busy, so food took longer than expected. But, it was fresh and delicious when it came out.

Excellent food-in particular the Jägerschnitzel, the sautéed mushrooms, and the filet- and great service. Prices seem a little high, until you see what they include (in most cases, bread, a fresh salad, a delicious potato puff, and high-quality entrees). Highly recommend!

Cozy and quaint restaurant right on the river. Superb selection of German beers and wines. Food came out hot and delicious. Highly recommend you check this place out if you are cruising up or down the A1A!

Good German food with river views and draft beers.

Intimate and friendly, and then there's the amazing food! We have hosted 4 German exchange students and have brought them here, and our girls have loved every last bite, giving them an authentic taste of home during their exchange year. I'd give 10 stars if I could!

We had to wait just a bit but it was packed. Enjoyed a nice drink at the bar with my family. 2 people in the my party have celiac and the waitress went over everything thoroughly and was very attentive. There were lots of options to choose from.

The food was perfect. There is a tendency for the servers to take unfinished appetizers and throw them away before bringing the main course. Make sure to let them know if you want them.

Such a hidden gem! Everything about this place seems to have been thought through, with incredible attention to detail. Delicious authentic German food with friendly staff and a calm, relaxing atmosphere on the river. If you’re in the Melbourne area you’ve got to try it.

Been dining here for decades and this was my worst meal ever ! Steak was raw and sent it back , potato was not even slightly crispy on the outsides like normal ! Will not order the steak again it was a bad meal ! I would just stick to fried entree’s or sausage dishes which are consistent. I was able to watch my dad enjoy his meal and the pork shank was cooked to perfection . The CC has always been our go to place but tonight was a bad experience !

Our waitress Colleen was awesome, very helpful and knowledgeable of the menu. The Combination plate was a great way to try multiple things. The peppercorn schnitzel was a bit salty for my taste, however everything else was very good. The potato pancakes made for a great appetizer! We had cappucinos and apple strudel to finish the meal. The atmosphere was very nice, and there was an awesome view. Highly recommend.

My wife and I celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary dinner here at Cafe Coconut Cove and it was fabulous. The location and scenery was perfect, next to the Indian River. We were greeted warmly by the host and were seated at a corner table with a nice large window looking out at the Indian River. Our waitress was Victoria and inquired whether we would like to start with a drink and/or appetizer. My wife ordered a glass of bubbly and I ordered a bier. After sipping on our drinks for a while, we ordered the smoked rainbow trout. It was very good and came with an assortment of condiments and breads. After which, we ordered our dinners - my wife ordered the peppercorn schnitzel and I ordered the béarnaise schnitzel. Both were very tasty. Victoria paced the meal very well and we never felt rushed. We appreciated this very much, because a nice dinner should be enjoyed and savored. We also ordered a bottle of Bootleg Prequel Chateau-du-Pape, which was yummy. Cafe Coconut Cove reminded us of our favorite German restaurant back at Fredericksburg, Virginia, the Alpine Chef. Where we had our wedding reception and subsequent anniversary dinners until we moved to Florida. Service, food, atmosphere, location, and hospitality at Cafe Coconut Cove convinced us that we will be coming back here regularly. Highly recommend Cafe Coconut Cove to anyone looking for a refined experience with a relaxing ambience. Staff is great and food matches the restaurant's philosophy. Thanks and all the best, PC.

Nice location. But food, price and service failed to hit the spot.

Website as well as business front said closed Sunday and Monday. Arrived at 5pm on a Tuesday for a much awaited birthday dinner with someone who adores traditional German cuisine. Sorely enraged and disappointed to see a "Sorry, we're closed" sign out front. Will not be returning for another attempt.

This was our 2nd time here and nothing short of amazing & delicious. We came to celebrate our 17 year wedding anniversary. My husband loves authentic German food, and I do not even attempt to make it...I'm Irish. His Mom was born & raised in Germany and an amazing cook. This is as close as you get to his Mom's. Food, service, and we got a romantic table for two overlooking the water...it was all perfect.

The grouper (seafood) schnitzel and roasted pork shank was to die for. Not to mention the bread and butter, house salad, and desert! Did not disappoint.

The place looks old a bit but very charming. It's so close to the ocean with a small dock where you can take photos. We even saw a dolphin 🐬 . The food was excellent and after a delicious filet mignon, I had a chocolate dessert... The waitress brought 4 forks so we could share ! Would definitely go back !

This restaurant has one of the most romantic,groovy, and relaxing feel, then any other restaurant from Cocoa Beach to Miami. The food is cooked to perfection, the atmosphere is perfect in a sense the people have a common feel of a certain noise level and it doesn't break that level where you can't hear your self think. Must try Restaurant, if you've never been. I go once a week for my *seafood snitzle*. I highly recommend this place for a date, outing with friends, or even an evening out to celebrate yourself ( you deserve it ). It's a first-class restaurant, my mother/father, and I will always be a fan of Cooconut Cove.

Very busy place. They are not taking reservations. They are right on the water, nice sunset but hard to get seated to get nice view since they are so busy. The foods are so good, just pick anything on the menu and you won't disappoint.

Definitely an unexpected gem. Never expected great authentic German food and beer on tap from a place called Cafe Coconut Cove...only about a 30 minute wait on a Saturday...you can order beer and apps from the bar to eat outside while you wait.

Best German restaurant on the Treasure Coast! Everything was excellent except for the Spetzil. Beautiful sunset, the establishment is located on the scenic Indian River. If you enjoy German food, the Cafe Coconut Cove is the place to visit.

Great service, Great view, mediocre food. House wine by the glass is horrible. Cappuccino is Great! Nice atmosphere.

The food was delicious, the staff was very friendly and attentive, and the view was amazing.

Don’t get me wrong, they have great food, but need to cater better to the locals. Snow birds flock in and take over the restaurant. Making in unable for local to order to go food. Need to address this need and take care of locals.

Heard good things about this place so I didn't mind waiting 45 minutes to get sat down. It's a Saturday night and it's busy which I completely understand The service tonight was awful though. We sat at a table and multiple servers walked by and didn't ask us if we were served. We ended up leaving after 30 minutes of waiting

As someone who has a German MIL and husband, this food is as close as you can get to German food without going to Germany.. I give 4 stars because the Spätzle isn't as good as I'm used to :) the view is amazing!

The Goulash was exceptional! The Jager schnitzel was very good too. The pork was very tender. The potato puffs were very good too. The pork shank was tender and flavorful. Service was very good.

We had dinner at this outstanding restaurant last night! We arrived at 7 and even though others in our party arrived later they were very accommodating providing a beautiful table for our meals. Our server was Pauline and what an outstanding service did she provide. She floated from person to person with such kindness and excellence and we were not an easy table. Our food from drinks, appetizers, entree, to dessert was succulent and delectable every morsel. Even though we were there after closing they never rushed us with even someone from the kitchen still available and believe me the food orders were ringing out through the entire time keeping Pauline and the kitchen staff on the go. Much heartfelt thanks to all the staff for going the extra mile. We were celebrating my brother’s birthday and a very joyous evening was experienced by all the family. Also if there are any restaurants out there who need some lessons in running a top notch restaurant get a tutorial from Cafe Coconut Cove!!!!!👍👍👍👍👍

Wonderful Quaint place! Food was excellent! Orders were Roasted pork Shank with tomatoes..Roasted Pork shank without..pineapple pork. Rib Steak. I didnt care for the steak but everyone else raved about their food! Service was excellent.

Visited multiple times and it is always good. If you have never visited, ask for suggestions from the staff. They make so many things in house! It is a restaurant that doesn't rush you, but in return, don't expect a quick dinner.

It has always been busy when we have been, but is always wonderful.

Arrived at opening time 4pm Saturday- tables fill up quickly- happy to get one on the porch with the view. waitress was efficient and poised, given how busy she was. Enjoyable birthday dinner.

MY favorite restaurant ever to date and have so many amazing memories at this gorgeous atmosphere long days in the sun and on the deck for family get together's & many of date nights or helping out when need be which I was so honored to do so. Cafe Coconut cove is the most romantic place to have a spectacular apps beyond this universe, salads just tasteful & unique, the main course*s are an endless delicious choice. You have to try the all as I have... Seriously tastefully cooked to perfection. Then an amazing snow pea side with those potatoes puffs or mashed potatoes or sour kraut or red cabbage. Gess endless tasty cuisines I still remember Uncle Peter throwing down now many years it's Cousin Dennis giving him a run for his $ he's so talented & puts his own twist on things so lovely. Then the Ladies....With the glamorous Aunt Ellen to Beautiful talented in so many ways such an entertaining hostess. My love whom taught me so very much Rene I adore you for giving me so much clarity and focus whom introduced me to the greatest staff of beautiful Ladies have made this wonderful Cafe a master piece to your pallets for decades and many more to come.... don't forget homemade desert wow. Pick 1 & bring 1 home only way to do it, it's authentic. A beautiful tradition on our sunset on the river...family oriented forever and always forever with love to you all.

Everything here was delish. Service was awesome. However, when we got to the dinner, which was also amazing, the homemade mustard was so hot/spicy that it killed the vibe. Both of us packed the rest of the meal to go after dipping in the mustard. It was awful and painful. A warning would have been nice. I love horseradish but this was too much to be casually given without a warning.

Solidly German fare, really nothing was bad, the dessert was finished before I knew it had been served! But the most impressive thing about this place is how friendly the wait staff is! I swear you’d think Ted Lasso was the coach! 🥰

Maybe it's because I've lived in Germany for the past 10 years but the food would be my only reason not to visit again. The schnitzel was good, but the kartoffelpuffer wasn't the best side to go with it. No substitutions allowed so I ordered what turned out to be an unseasoned bunch of asparagus with a cup of melted but also not seasoned butter. The house salad was more of a mix between 3 different salads, and also not able to be substituted. I ordered a Radler, which tasted exactly like the beer it should've been mixed with. Atmosphere and location were my favorite parts of the visit, being riverside. Also decently overpriced for the quality/authenticity of the food.
