Lovely spot for a birthday brunch. The wait wasn't too long and all the service was excellent!

Really lovely spot! The interior is well decorated, the staff was friendly, and I appreciated and valued how this establishment is opening trans-affirming and welcoming! The food was sooo good - and I’m not vegetarian or vegan! Loved the frittata with cheese grits, my partner got the biscuits and gravy which were tasty too. We had a cinnamon roll as well that was perfect. The coffee is strong! Highly recommend.

Big lines dealt with by an efficient and pleasant host, but once sitting the service was hurried and barely interactive. The food was bland and took forever. Nothing was unique for the price of everything it should be fresher ingredients (or at least add some greenery next to an omelette). I will say the homemade jam and homemade ketchup was a nice touch.

This spot is very cool. The wallpaper is cool, the staff is great, the food was creative and fantastic. We ordered the falafel waffle, kale Caeser, and the yam fries. the falafel waffle was very fun and delicious. It's not like one giant waffle made entirely out of falafel dough/batter, but more a cross between a waffle and falafel. The yam fries were super crisp on the outside, fluffy on the inside and the aioli was a great dipping sauce for it.

Great vibe of the place. 30min waiting while we shopped at Kitchen & Market nearby so not bad. Service: Not up to the mark - onion rings were over, not swapped for some fries on request. Also we were celebrating a birthday but the server didn't care to wish or be kind/friendly in general. Food: The Mediterranean platter of Fava bean and other dips was really very good. The fried mushrooms on the waffles were tooo fried. The waffles themselves were pretty good. The tomato starter which literally just fried tomatoes - they should just take that off the menu it was so bad. And partially I blame ourselves for ordering it - we were just intrigued to see how such simple ingredients can make a good dish. But epic fail. Strawberry cocktail was okay too - nothing exceptional. Overall half the items were good. Maybe we went in with a lot more expectations and were celebrating so were a bit let down. But the place def has potential, so we might give it another shot.

Cafe Flora exudes a wonderful vibe with its stunning decor, creating a truly inviting atmosphere. While the service was a bit slow, it wasn’t a major issue for us. However, the food didn’t quite live up to expectations. The black bean burger, though flavorful, was marred by the kimchi slaw placed directly on the patty, which made it a bit soggy. The drinks tasted good, although there was a mix-up with our order—we asked for a mimosa with lemonade but received plain lemonade instead.

Just got the vegan (tofu) version of the southern breakfast platter and it’s literally the best tofu I’ve ever had. Texture reminds me of halloumi or paneer and the seasoning is just …diabolically good. So…savory? My husband and I are sitting here licking the plate just baffled trying to figure out how they made it so good. Plus, inside of the restaurant is gorgeous and just has a perfectly pleasant atmosphere for breakfast.

Reading some of the reviews had me worried but I absolutely loved the food here. I highly recommend going for brunch and treating yourself to a wonderful flavor experience. I'm vegan and am delighted by the food I got served today. So easy to opt for the vegan option of almost everything on the menu. Thank you for that! My non-vegan friend loved the food as well! Quick seating, service could be a tad better but not really the servers fault, it was busy, I just wish I had more coffee.... But I did still get 2 cups and every interaction with the employees was super pleasant and warm. 😁 The atmosphere was beautiful. Outside seating was so warm and cozy with the fountain. Overall-- I will be going back. The surrounding area is very nice for a post brunch walk. Highly recommend walking down Madison avenue after. Such a pleasant location. Ample street parking, only like 4 spots in the official parking lot, but no problem finding parking nearby. The purple sweet potato scallion waffle was so delicious. The cinnamon roll was a great starter and kind of famous, Sourdough is crispy with wonderful jam, my friend had the lavender latte and loved it. There are so many things I want to try and can't wait to go back. Okay, just go and have fun! 🥰

I've visited Cafe Flora with my family several times over the years. Weekends can have long waits for brunch; we were once quoted a 40-minute wait, but it ended up being 1.5 hours. Despite this, the staff is always courteous, and the ambience is pleasant with both indoor and outdoor seating options. The food is generally good, though the prices are on the higher side. We always enjoy our visits and will continue to come back for the positive experiences.

We were looking for a place with vegan options in the area and I am so glad we found Cafe Flora. We had some of the small dishes and two entrees - all of them hits (even the yam fries which I‘m not usually a fan of but they came with this scrumptious cayenne aioli …). I also highly recommend the seemingly unimpressive rosemary lemonade - it is delicious. Our waiter, Logan, was very friendly and helpful.

The place is super cute, has a great vibe, and is big. It was busy today at 12:30 pm. I ordered the vegetarian market breakfast bowl which is labeled as GF. I will say that I was a little disappointed at the lack of taste of this dish. The presentation was great but it had no flavor to it, plus my eggs were almost cold. The dish looked super healthy however, so I added a ton of salt and ate it all. I had ordered a late and asked to have it brought with my order but the waitresses brought it way before my meal arrived. Overall, I would come back for the vibe of the place and healthy vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options but would order something different for sure.

Cafe Flora has got to be one of the most beautiful cafes I've ever been to with its aesthetic and food offerings. My plant based heart was full and ready to try all the different options they offered. A group of us came on a weeknight and were seated outside in their patio outdoor (but enclosed) patio. It was the first day of their spring menu and they encouraged us to order items to share for the table; an easy task for an Asian like myself. We went with a few amazing starters- their spread sampler served with sourdough had some of the best homemade dips ever especially their Spring Pea Hummus, the yam fries with house aioli was fire, and the spinach artichoke dip was some of the best I've had. All vegan and all amazing. The entrees though were a bit more mixed for me. The Strawberry Watercress Salad was refreshing but didn't excite me as much as I had hoped, the Risotto was a bit on the saltier side and was only half the bowl, and Fried Trumpet Mushroom over Potato Waffle had a great waffle but the mushrooms weren't as kickass as I've had at other vegan restaurants. Plus I felt it was a bit pricer for the amount of food we got in general. We ended our dinner with their Chocolate Cake with Coconut Based Vanilla Ice Cream, which came in small bite sized brownies that were probably sitting in the fridge for too long lol. It was still good though. Despite that though, the food really was great and we had a great time especially with the samplers. Thank you to our server Logan who really took care of us all night.

I eat at Café Flora often for breakfast and it’s always excellent. Tonight, I was so disappointed. I sent one dish back (asparagus + burrata appetizer ..it was just awful) and then two that followed were just as bad. The waitress must’ve had a bad night she was describing dishes that were no longer on the menu and stated the ingredients for what was on the menu incorrectly. The evening manager who I expressed regret to was smug and indignant - the whole evening was a letdown. Their food is way too expensive to be this bad. Two of the items were comped on my bill, but the manager was so rude about it. It didn’t really help.

Unfortunately my last trip to Cafe Flora our service was awful. We went with my kids for my birthday dinner and we were ignored for nearly 30 minutes, our server didn't seem to know anything about the menu and couldn't provide recommendations and my well-behaved kids were looked at like a nuisance. I left really disappointed. Had this been my first time there I probably wouldn't go back.

I would characterize Cafe Flora as a semi-gourmet vegetarian restaurant. We had a lovely dinner here last night. Attentive and well-informed waiter. Interesting, very tasty food. Good selection of non-alcoholic drinks. The atmosphere is very pleasant and includes lovely well-ventilated outdoor-ish space as well as indoor space. The menu, which had been in place for years, has recently been updated, offering lots of small plates but also some mains. I recommend the triple spread appetizer and the Yakima polenta main.

Cafe Fora just lost my patronage after many years of being a customer. I arrived a little before 9 on a Sunday morning for breakfast by myself. I was asked to wait for a table even though there were empty tables because I was only 1 person and those were tables for 4. I pointed out there was an empty table and the guy huffed and said that is for 4. He finally decided to take me there and came back with water and clunked it down on the table and then I never saw a server. Lots of people go out by themselves for breakfast on the weekend and they should be treated as well as any other customer.

Visited Cafe Flora for brunch with a group of four. We waited 35 minutes to be seated, then 50 minutes before receiving anything we ordered. Our lattes were forgotten and food arrived dish by dish over 5-10 minutes, leaving the first person's meal cold by the time the last person was served. The food was fine, with solid blueberry poppy seed pancakes. After finishing our meal, I used the gender-inclusive bathroom. It had one stall and open urinals. A guy followed me in immediately, so I couldn't lock the door as suggested. I ended up feeling very uncomfortable and hid in the stall until he left. While the goal of inclusivity is commendable, this setup was counterproductive as I didn't feel included in the space. My suggestion would be to convert them to single-use bathrooms, for a truly inclusive experience. Overall, the experience was frustrating. The food didn’t sit well, causing a rushed drive home. I'm over the Seattle food scene with its high prices and the expectation of a 20-25% tip when both service and food are subpar. Raise your standards, Cafe Flora.

The food at Cafe Flora tastes about okay and that's just my personal preference. The one thing I liked is their high tea offering last year as it had a vegan option. I'd have given them 4 stars but I don't find their customer service great hence the 2 stars. Based on multiple visits to the restaurant, I've noted that the staff at the restaurant seems to not check in with small (it's just my hunch, they might just be doing this to parties of all sizes or are short on staff) parties for at least 15-20 mins and they do the same when a customer is waiting for the bill - it just doesn't seem like a great customer service and the follow-up to this post over email also yielded an unsatisfactory response. I'd rather cook at home or consider going to another restaurant instead of coming here.

While there were many vegan small plates, there was only 1 fully vegan entree and another one that could be made vegan. Very thin pieces of eggplant fried in breadcrumbs and set on top of the thinnest layer of yogurt with loose greens on top. Really disappointing. I can’t imagine venturing to a vegetarian restaurant as a meat eater and being served something like that. It felt like a joke. I would rate the food 3.8 Staff and ambience 5 Cafe Flora is a vegetarian-friendly oasis with a charming ambiance and delightful staff. The café boasts three distinct areas, creating an inviting atmosphere for patrons. While it caters to vegans and vegetarians, it also accommodates those who consume eggs. My experience began on a high note with a delectable Americano that perfectly balanced strength and smoothness. However, the excitement waned when the mochi beignets arrived. Unfortunately, they fell short of expectations, being overly fried and greasy, with a disappointing lack of mochi flavor. Thankfully, the entrees redeemed the dining experience. The roasted pepper and portobello fritta, featuring eggs, impressed with its flavorful combination and perfectly cooked potatoes. The dish struck the right balance, avoiding excessive greasiness while delivering satisfying crispness. On the other hand, the waffle failed to leave a lasting impression. While it provided a novel culinary experience, the heavy sauce topping and lackluster taste left much to be desired. It's a dish I likely wouldn't reorder. In summary, Cafe Flora offers a picturesque setting and caters well to various dietary restrictions. While some dishes, like the roasted pepper and portobello fritta, shine, others, such as the mochi beignets and waffle, miss the mark. It's a charming spot for those seeking vegetarian options, although the food might not always reach the highest culinary standards.

Delicious! Flavorful and really enjoyed the garlicky greens. Vitamin C Kombucha Tonic was refreshing. Had to wait a bit for a table but that’s expected at weekend brunch.

It’s been a while since I’ve been to Flora. There’s always a big line for brunch but we decided to wait as it was a beautiful day to walk around. The service was alright but a bit to the point. I recall there being a bit more variety to the brunch menu last time I went. The rosemary lemonade was quite tasty but dunno if it justified a $6 price tag. My partner got a half order of biscuits and gravy. Pretty small portion but delicious. A side order of fried eggs was also $6 which was a bit high as you need those with biscuits and gravy. I had the Italian burger which was quite delicious. Great flavors and texture and phenomenal bread. The yam fries it came with were mediocre at best, wish there was an option for regular potato fries or something else. Only other side option was a kale salad for +$2. Saw that salad at other tables and steered away from it. We shared the cinnamon roll as well which I remember being better than it was. It WAS good though but again, not $10 good. Overall a pleasant experience but not particularly thrilled about a $60+ tab for two people without any cocktails. I do always recommend Floret at the airport though, my go to spot at SeaTac.

Such a gem! This time I just popped on for a pastry and cup of tea and could help ordering their amazing cinnamon roll, which is as big as my head. It took a lot of restraint to keep from eating the whole thing then and there.

I wanted to like this place, but it didn’t deliver. We waited at our table for at 10-15 minutes before anyone came to ask about drinks. It took an hour for our main courses to arrive after we ordered. No one came to refill our water jug or check on us in the hour we were waiting for our food. We had to flag another waiter down to ask where our food was. They were out of the appetizer I wanted, so I tried the Brussels sprouts. They were good, but drowning in sweet sauce. We tried the risotto and the Wellington. Both looked very nice, but were one-dimensional. The Wellington looked and tasted burnt on the bottom.

This place is so typical Seattle. The food is bland, dry, and unseasoned. It's EXTREMELY overpriced (seriously, I felt robbed eating here). And predictably, it's hyped up by all the techies. If you work at Amazon and want to spend lots of money and wait in line for an hour to eat basic food, this place is for you! Places like this are scams, and you're all clowns for falling for it.

Great spot to grab a bite and mingle with friends! The food was delicious and the service was great! We were a group of five and had a maybe 40 minute wait on a Saturday afternoon, but it was worth it. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating options and a great menu selection for those with dietary restrictions. The prices are probably higher than other locations but the food was fresh and the portions were great. Will definitely be back!

love coming here to get brunch with friends. especially a sunny day, the plants and vibe of the cafe are amazing. just wish the prices were a bit lower or portions of food bigger. but it’s SEA so I understand the rent problem everyone has. 🩷

I have been going to Cafe Flora for years now and couldn't speak more highly of my experience. I have tried all of their other cafes/locations and this one continues to be the best. While expensive, the beautiful atmosphere, sweet staff, and vegetarian food, it is worth a visit! As someone who is vegetarian and has a nut allergy, their menu is clear on its ingredients and makes me feel safe compared to some other spots.

The food and the service was great. Love their golden milk, mulled wine. Both their brunch and their dinner menu is great and has many vegetarian options. One thing I wish I had known and want to pass along so that if you’re visiting you can plan better than I did: The restrooms don’t offer enough privacy. I’m really happy that the restrooms are non-gendered, but the gap between the stalls just offers no privacy and it feels unsafe and renders the non-gendered spaces a little pointless since the primary purpose for that is safety. It would be great if they would either fix the gaps or if that’s out of budget maybe simply make it a single stall restroom. In the meantime, just letting folks who might be uncomfortable sharing a semi private space to plan accordingly.

Cafe Flora is sooo cute! The patio is adorable and a great place to be seated. Tons of plants to look at…. Hence the name “Cafe Flora”. The food is fantastic with great presentation. We had the Tofu lettuce wraps and chocolate crème brûlée. Both were very good. The staff are all friendly, kind and are on top of taking care of you. I highly recommend Cafe Flora. We will definitely be back over and over again. Parking is street parking and relatively easy to get.

Cafe Flora is literally the place which convinced me that I could be vegetarian back in March of 2004. It was the Tacos Dorado's, formerly Oaxaca tacos! World class food every time! Holiday meals there are a must!
