I SHOULD MENTION I GOT MY FOOD FROM THE FOOD TRUCK I FOUND WHILE SHOPPING IN RIVERGATE Overall the food was good, the catfish could have been cook a little more (i didn't finish it cuz of this) it was quite slimy That aside the pungent smell of burning oil (i get it you cook food in oil but coming from a person who worked a restaurant for a long time i know just by the smell that that oil was burning) That aside food was good, i don't recommend you NOT have a beverage with your food (this is a personal preference or just the fact that the food is heavily seasoned/not even enough as one bite would be far to over seasoned and another not seasoned enough... That said if it were evenly spread the shrimp they have is paradise)

Cajun kids has the best sautéed crayfish I have had since leaving Louisiana. The owner is a sweet and engaging gentleman that goes above and beyond to please his customer. We got the fried shrimp poboy and fries and a side of sautéed crayfish. Just the right amount of spice and authentic flavor. I highly recommend trying this place out... you won't be disappointed.

This is an awesome food truck. I'm not as familiar with authentic NOLA Cajun but everything I've tried so far has been really great. I recommend trying their gumbo, definitely my favorite thing from the menu.

Got two burgers from there. They were the best burgers I have ever ate.

I would give 10 stars if I could. Will definitely continue to eat here as long as it’s around. The gumbo is the best I’ve ever had. The down to earth great personality and customer service is a plus. It’s a real feel of New Orleans.

I’ve been here twice so far - ordered the gumbo first and then a shrimp po’boy this time. Both were super delicious! It’s the kind of food that’s so good that you want to tell everyone to check it out. Will definitely come again.

First time here and ordered the seafood platter with some gumbo. It was very good. Only complaint is the portions werent bigger, but I am not a small person. And I will gladly pay that price for good food.

I'm not sure which one was better, but the service and the food were both amazing. I am from outta town, but next time I'm in town I'll be sure to pass by again. We tried the crawfish nachos & the gumbo. The nachos chips were Doritos 😋! The gumbo was on point too. Stay blessed!
