I go every FRI! I love this place, so happy I do not have to drive out of Indian trail for good quality homemade cake and pies! She also will make whole cakes and pies to be picked up, and also offers a rewards program. We love the pricing and Angie always has the best customer service!

I was doing some research online and stumbled across this bakery, and I am oh so glad I did. Typically, I am not big on sweets, but this might be the best cake I’ve ever had. You’ve got a customer for life!

Everything we've tried has been SO good! My favorite is 5 flavor pound cake and my son is obsessed with the red velvet cake. But we've tried several things and they've all been absolutely delicious. The owner is always very welcoming and friendly, too.

First off, the owner Angie is great. She was extremely professional and helpful. I ordered a Strawberry Cheesecake for a birthday party and it was an absolute hit. Everyone asked where I got it from. It was honestly the best cheesecake I've ever had. I'm tempted to order one for myself.

Went out of their way to allow my daughter and a couple friends do birthday cake and gifts in the bakery. I appreciate everything you guys did for us! Every one was kind, and accommodating… and the cake was delicious 💯💯would recommend!

I ran across this gem today! I ordered the swirling five pound cake and it was so moist and yummy 😋. I also tasted the yellow cake with chocolate icing and that was good too reminded me of cake my grandmother's friend use to make back in the day. It was nice meeting you Angela and Ryan!

Friendly neat little place! Absolutely love their carrot and yams cake! But their cheese cake is above and beyond! Very decent on sugar! Love it 🥰😍

Absolutely perfect. Hard to even get a pound cake in this town and theirs is awesome. We get a chocolate pound cake with chocolate frosting for my partner's father's birthday every year and the last two we came here and he is always super happy with it. It really is excellent. The "Jazzy Cake." Thanks so much for making that our dad so happy.

I have driven pass this bakery dozens of times, but did not realize it was next to the La Unica restaurant n Indian Trail. Very good cakes and desserts at reasonable prices. This is my go-to place now for all my sweets.

My husband and I love bakery sweet treats. Today after a Google search, we decided to ride to Indian Trail to try Cake Affect. We were greater warmly by the owners. We tried several cakes. The red velvet was absolutely the best I have ever tried. It has pecans in them, which I love. They have it w/o nuts too I believe. The German Chocolate and Pecan pie were both very tasty. My son loved the Big Mama pound cake. We can't wait to go bake. Thr Cake Affect will be our # 1 pick for sweet treats from now on.

Best cheesecake and red velvet!! Also love the German Chocolate with fudge ganache. Angie loves and appreciates her customers and greets everyone with a smile. It’s a joy to visit and even better when you dig into the yummy desserts.

Hands down, our favorite place to get cake! Angie is always friendly and the cakes are always superb. We have tried several flavors and cannot pick our favorite. We've started pre-ordering whole cakes for our large family. :)

The five flavor pound cake was moist and flavorful, only quality natural tasting flavors, really good! The german chocolate cake was some of the best I have had. The Mountain Dew cobbler had really good flavor but was a little too sweet for me. The cheesecake was delicious, a fluffier texture, which may not be to the liking of those who like a really dense consistency but still great!

The cheesecake was AMAZING, some of the best I've ever tasted. Angie is amazing too. She is so friendly. I'm so glad we found Cake Affect today. I'll be a loyal customer from now on.

Cake Affect was a vendor at the Union Pop-up event and had amazing cake slices available. I had the five flavor cake - it was terrific! Moist, light, sweet and delicious. The only problem - I should have bought another slice - it was that good! I also enjoyed the peach cobbler and I’m looking forward to visiting the shop soon. Check them out you won’t be disappointed.

We are fairly new to the area and I have been looking for a bakery. I read a bunch of reviews and decided to try Cake Affect. I am soooo glad I tried it! I ordered one Love Mahoney (german chocolate) cake and one Sunshine Lemon cake. They were both delicious! The Love Mahoney was rich and moist with a fudge like icing - my husband said it was the best he had. The Sunshine Lemon was moist with a lemon curd that was sweet and tangy and some sweet icing. Both cakes were delightful! They were both reasonably priced. The owner was very responsive via email and genuinely thankful for my business. I am happy to support a local small business for owners who love what they do.

Me, my mom and my son stopped by for our 1st time over the weekend and wow their cakes is so good and my son loved the sweet potato pie, if you looking for some delicious homemade desserts, this is the place to go to. I know we'll be going back for sure.

As I was in the area today, I noticed this cake shop tucked away in the corner. Decided to go look to see what they had, walked out with the best cheesecake with strawberry sauce on the side. The cheesecake is amazing by itself, but the sauce was real and fresh tasting as well. Lemon curd was lovely too, I found the zest perfectly refreshing for a hot day. I can't wait to try more from this place, I'm so glad I went in.

I purchased several desserts from Angie. The cheese cake, red velvet, and lemon cakes were delicious. My husband loved the cheesecake, and the red velvet had the best frosting on any red velvet cake that I have ever tried. Lastly, my son was ecstatic that he could have the lemon cake all to himself. After he took the first bite he was all smiles. We will definitely purchase from them again. I love amazing service and amazing cakes!

This is like the bakery cakes I used to get as a kid from the little bakery down the road. This is seriously the best cake I have ever had. I am a customer for life! I ate every last piece of it. White cake with vanilla buttercream 😋. Thank you all for making my birthday perfect!

My parents own the place so i can see if you thought this was biased but I am 100% serious when i say they have the best cakes I've tasted and always have a smile when serving the people who come in.

I just happen to see the sign while we were in Indian Trail. It is always nice to discover hidden gems. Everything is made from scratch and the flavors are absolutely amazing. We tried several different slices of cake and they all were delicious. Red velvet cake with layer of icing inside was my favorite. Owner Angela was really nice too.
