Stumbled into this quaint little shop while visiting Indian Trail. I can only assume the man behind the counter was an owner; he was genuine, excited and eager to provide a top notch experience. The coffee was good and “The Vinny” was the best sandwich I have ever eaten. The bread is made in house and every ingredient felt fresh. 10 out of 10 will be back.

Seriously some of the best coffee and Italian sandwiches I have had!! This place is so slept on and such a hidden gem in Indian Trail!! Prices are affordable, owner works at the shop, and they have a store where you can buy authentic Italian items!! Must come and try them!! #supportsmallbusinesses

The Panini's are awesome, bread is baked locally and you can tell the quality is excellent. The owner and young lady serving were very sweet and helpful. Some cool imported Italian products to choose from as well. Well worth the visit. Will be back.

Wow! I had no idea there was legit Italian food in Indian Trail! Italian owner and it shows. I was just looking for a coffee shop and found so much more. I ended up having a cappuccino and the Vinny (Italian panini) and it was incredible. You need to come here and check it out!

Decent espresso, but unethical ownership. The prices posted at the entrance are the lowest, to lure you in. The prices posted above the counter are higher (than the ones posted by the entrance). The prices they actually ring up are even higher still (than those posted above the counter). All for the same products. Certainly appears deliberate, and hence fraudulent. Note: This concern does not include any added coffee flavors or other add-ons. I get that those may cost extra.

I don’t know what kind of bread they use for the panini’s, but it’s amazing! I got the black market panini and it was so simple but so delicious. Both of the gentleman that were there working were wonderful and who I’m assuming is the owner described all the paninis to me because he saw me struggling to pick. They also had a bunch of different retail items like sweets and pasta you can buy. Will definitely be going back to try their coffee and another kind of panini!

Every summer my nieces and nephews come to town for the week and their first request is to stop by Flav’s for coffees and cannolis. 😀We especially love that they have a great front porch for all of us to sit and relax on. Love that Flav has brought a little bit of Italy here to NC!

Went here today for the first time, and will definitely be returning here for breakfast or lunch, the cappuccino was good and the sandwiches delicious, the owner very friendly.

This coffee shop is 8 mins from me, so I gave them a try. I'm glad I did. I loved their coffee, service, and food. The inside was set up nicely with seating and WIFI. They offered to adjust my coffee with flavor if I needed it, but it was good, so need to adjust! I'm trying the cannoli next!

My wife and I loved coming here today for lunch and coffee! First time visiting. We both ordered a panini and a coffee. The owner was very welcoming and friendly. The paninis were amazing. We ordered the Vinny and the Mob Boss paninis. We also enjoyed the shop. So many Italian treats, pastas, and sauces. We will be back!

Growing up in the NY/NJ area, it felt like home walking in. The food and people made it even better, everything was delicious and customer service was outstanding. The owner was great, friendly, and very attentive to all his customers. Highly highly recommend.

We just came back from Italy and Flav’s gives us the same atmosphere like we never left! Delicious panini’s and cappuccino!

I was at a preschool graduation at a nearby park and was checking my phone to clear the GPS when a photo of a sandwich from Flav's taken by Courtney Kim popped up. Immediately headed to Flav's for an Italian sandwich. Bread baked on the premises! I love being in the South but I do miss the genuine Italian food that was so plentiful when I lived in the CT-NY-NJ region. I have not had anything that I consider true Italian since leaving Connecticut over 20 years ago (think Bimonte's Pizza, Sally's and Frank Pepe's in New Haven) I showed them the picture of what brought me there and then picked a non-vegetarian version of the photo I had seen. It has prosciutto, arugula, one or two more meats and shaved Parmesan. That was all I could hear the shop owner day, I was too busy drooling over what I was about to enjoy. He toasted my sandwich, I grabbed one little pastry and headed home. My sandwich was still warm when I got home and I tore into it, didn't come up for sure until I had eaten almost half of it. Hence, no photo to share. I will be going back tomorrow for freshly baked sfogliatellas (known as clams to those of us who can't pronounce the word) - he does them only on Thursdays and Saturdays. As satiated as I am after my sandwich, my mouth is watering right now in anticipation of what tomorrow is going to bring. I'm about 13 miles away from Flav's here in Monroe NC, but it is worth the trip and I expect I will be going there many more times to try so many of the other sandwiches I saw on the menu.

My husband and I hadn’t been in this strip of shops for well over a year…so glad we made it back! The atmosphere and food is top-notch. We were welcomed like family. Stop in and enjoy a coffee, panini, and pastry…you’ll be glad you did! See you all again soon 😊.

Got the iced caramel macchiato and a panini with tiramisu for dessert. It was so good! Bread was made fresh and it was delicious. Flavio was extremely nice and welcoming! Will be back for sure! 10/10 recommend.

If you are missing Italy sometimes visit the Flav’s cafe. Best paninis I’ve tried in America 💯 Coffe is very good too. And the atmosphere is very homey Definitely will be back

My Americano was perfect, and my wife loved her chai latte. I frequently burn my tongue on the first sip, but the temperature was perfect and the flavor complex. Good feel and great service, he makes you feel welcome.

Wanted to try coffee from a local spot and got the iced vanilla latte - EXCEEDED my expectations. Tastes amazing and not overly sweet or watered down like every other coffee shop. Can’t wait to visit, see their cute little shop, and try out their other items!

I love the atmosphere here, it's always so welcoming and inviting! The coffee tastes fresh and flavorful too. Honestly, the price is as good as Dunkin and Starbucks but tastes 1000x better AND you don't have to wait in a long drive through line. I love the caramel macchiato (hot or iced) and the espressos come in cute little yellow cups 💛💛💛

I have waited almost 10 years to find Canoli like they are up in New York and this is the place!!!! The owners are kind, caring and very hard working. YOU MUST STOP HERE!!! MAKE IT A DESTINATION PLACE. You will love it.

Authentic Italian Coffee Shop! When I walked up, the porch had some of the Italian family members visiting in a nice spot for being outside. The reading nook was very comfy and great for getting a bit of work done while sipping on my perfectly created cappuccino. The Italian food items for sale were neatly displayed and competitively priced. At the recommendation of my Sardinian 'daughter' we picked up a traditional Christmas cake for her American grandparents. Everyone was very friendly and I can't wait to come back and enjoy a toasty panini made to order.

Such a charming place, homemade bread and imported Italian meats that I can't find anywhere else. Best cappuccino too. Flav , the owner makes you feel at home. Great neighborhood place and cheap. Will definitely be back.

Update! Flav opened up a larger space right next door and I have been longing to visit. Finally had the perfect moment to take my daughter on a hot coco date and we LOVED it! Full of Italian Market goodies and a warm ambiance that just made us feel happy inside and out. It is a perfect fresh approach to the idea of Café, right down to the little fairy door leading to Italy. (Going to make a plan to take the kids regularly and do some of our homeschool lessons inside by the window or out on the porch.)

I had an amazing experience today at Flav's! I had a networking meeting with a colleague and she suggested that we go to Flav's. Having never been there, I didn't know what to expect. It is a clean and cute little shop!! My coffee was great and the cannoli, I cannot even describe how delicious it was!! My colleague had a Nutella croissant and it looked great too. They also had lots of authentic Italian grocery items for purchase as well. Additionally, they have a huge bookcase filled with books and a little shelf of games you can borrow while you're there. I would recommend this place to anyone.

My sister loves her Americano! And even though tea isn't the employee's strong suit, my tea was hot enough, not boiling. (I only just found out you're not supposed to boil the water.) So I'm super satisfied with my tea. The place is cozy with really good music, lovely pictures of Italy that you can buy, books that are available to just read or purchase for $3 (paperback) or $4 (hardback), Italian food items, ice cream treats, and games to play. I highly recommend this place!

The Best Coffee!!! I travel out of my way to get my coffee from Flav's. The coffeeshop also has an abundant array of tasty Italian delights. A friend requests 2 of the same coffee each time I visit, it's that good!!
