Place and the staff are nice but the burrito itself was horrible, please take it from me I had three order those and the cheese is cold, the meat which I order the chicken and steak was not a good flavor it’s very bad, the rice is super undercooked it’s pretty waste my hard earned money, the chips seems to be a left over which is very hard to chew on, I am not sure why this review is 4.7 and to me it’s like 1.0, I am not doing this to destroy the business but I would rather go to chipotle than this so this is my honest review

Cool burrito place. Standard and unusual varieties such as falafel and tahini. Lots of vegan options! The chips and salsas are delish! Love the salsa bar! Nice atmosphere on the inside.

Went here on the first night of the DCI competition. The place was large and had a hip vibe. The food was great with solid vegetarian options. The burritos are very large and served with chips. Salsa is available at a bar and is self serve. They were very fresh and flavorful. The food was a little pricier than I would have expected for burritos but it was worth it. Pricing was likely adjusted because of the DCI competition in town.

My family takes out food regularly for lunch or dinner. Since I was born near this restaurant, it’s always fun to hang out with friends and family for a great view of Allentown’s lovely Lake Muhlenberg

I recommend Cali Burrito. Fresh burrito 🌯 prepared daily. The staff is friendly and happy to help you. Recommend it 👏

The best selection of vegetarian burritos! I love this place. The breakfast burrito is awesome. So many vegetarian and unique options. I love trying the burrito of the week and the salsa of the week! They have non-veg options also which is nice so i can bring meat eaters ;)

I've probably eaten here more times than I have any other restaurant in my adult life and I haven't lived within an hour of the place, that's how much I love coming here when I'm passing by the area. Big burritos and portions of chips for a good price with some good salsas to dip with.

Food is so fresh and delicious! And the salsa bar takes this place to the next level! Love that they do salsa and burritos of the week to keep ya guessing! Taco salad is my go to (with chicken and guacamole added). Really just wish they had an option to add peppers and onions but they only offer a veggie mix which always mostly comprises of zucchini/eggplant/squash which I do not like.

Back in the area and drove 20 minutes out f the way to get our fix! Never disappointed! This place is Awesome!!! We found this joint while we were frequenting Allentown area 7 years ago. Every time we are down that way we make the effort to go get something. BURRITOS, TACOS, AND QUESADILLAS.....THATS IT....and 5 to 6 choices of each..... Don't need to mess with adding more, perfect as is and never let down!. If you going through, it's quick, made fresh, and SPOT ON every time

Meh: burrito The burrito I had was quite dry and contained very few pinto beans. But they have giant portions and give you enough tortilla chips to make a meal. The salsa bar also has nice options. Additional sauces need to be requested from an employee My friends review of the tacos were much better so that might be the way to go but I did not try any myself.

My burrito was a sloppy small sample of over-salted meat with a disgusting clump of cheese. It tasted like something a 6-year old would make. Cali Burrito lost its touch.

Foods good but every single time I go out of my way to eat here they are either closed or the line is so long and slow its not worth the effort. I litterly walked in there today at 229pm and they wouldn't seat us. No more. This will be the last time i bother getting off the highway.

Got there at 715. Saw they close at 8pm. Ask if my family could sit down and eat if not would take it to go bc they close in 45. Girl said yes it's fine. At 730 got up to get more soda and a different girl says I'm sorry I already shut down the soda machine. I wanted to say something like well u could have asked the few families still here if anyone wanted more soda before turning it off as a common courtesy or ma'am would u like me to get you a canned soda on the house I'm sorry for the inconvenience. But my husband didn't want me to make a big deal about it so he wrapped the rest of his dinner up and so did I and we left at 735 and had to finish our meal at home since we didn't have anything to drink to wash the food down. Horrible experience.

Cool place but not authentic Californian burritos. The meat isn't spiced well or cooked properly, no grilled onions or veggies and tofu isn't cooked well either. Overall an okay burrito.

The ground beef tacos are yummy. I didn’t care for the Big Sur burrito or the mango tea. Update: The special queso dip (steak and cheese with pickled jalapeños) slaps. I didn’t really care for the huevos ranchos (basically like a breakfast burrito). I wish I could just get a platter of those crispy fat chips. So good.

Cali Burrito is so delicious! Their online ordering is super easy and convenient. Their fresh salsa is the best! I love their tacos and service has always been great when I have dined in. I highly recommend this restaurant!!!!

I have gone to Cali for now almost a decade, always supported them. Parking lot is smashed up like the last one and gets worse every year. I used to give them a 5 star but over the past 3 years at least 70% of the time my order is wrong. Either wrong items in bag when ordered online, missing items, burrito instead of bowl, ask for no beans (allergy) and get twice a helping of them. Today mistakes on both of our items again.... we came up from Philly and we looked forward to this all week but disappointed again. I'll keep supporting this business but mistakes almost every time...

What happened to this place? It used to be so fresh and good…. Today the cheese wasn’t melted in the burritos (they told me I have to ask specially to have the cheese melted) the tortilla was refrigerator level cold to the touch (I was told that is not possible, that the guacamole must have made my tortilla cold). The tool my burrito back and put it on the grill to heat it up. We ordered 4 burritos and one quesadilla. The chips were burnt in all 4 baskets. The quesadilla had too much cheese in it and it melted to the basket and was difficult to eat. No one liked their food. Do they make the burritos ahead of time and keep them in the fridge until ordered maybe? My son’s burrito fell apart completely and the ground beef inside looked pale and anemic, with no apparent seasoning, same as to beans. Too bad…we used to love this place…

There isn't just one word to describe it... hip, I guess. They have great food that came out in ~3 minutes, which surprised me! Many stickers on the walls which is pretty cool.

Cali Burrito is much better than any chain burrito/taco joint, and the prices are great. Easy amount to spend on a lot of food. The chips and homemade salsas are awesome as well.

My son is a really picky eater but he loves the tacos here. It was amazing to see him finish his two whole tacos and to see how happy he was to have them.

Best burritos in town, hands down! Love the Humboldt with the smoked tofu. Great vegetarian option. My partner ordered the Shasta in a bowl and enjoyed the Seitan, another great vegetarian option. Love this place, always have.

Fun restaurant with fantastic food!!

Truly one of the best places to eat in the Valley. Great food and great vibe. Menu prices are still reasonable, but have risen significantly these past two years (obviously in part because of inflation). Was surprised to see the price for two chicken tacos + chips has risen nearly 40% in a matter of 24 months while a side of guac is now nearly $10. Still worth it but has become one of the pricier taco joints in the area. Would love the option to add a third taco to an order too.

Please stop drowning the special burritos in mustard to the point where they are inedible $11+ for a tortilla and mustard is kind of ridiculous. Couldn't even finish it :(

An authentic California surfer burrito stand as a laid back counter service restaurant in an unlikely local. I have been going to "Cali" since they opened at their original location on Hamilton and have enjoyed this place every visit. I have introduced family and friends to it over the years and Cali never disappoints. I always go for their Old Monterey and I love their chips and in house made salsas. I particularly enjoy their hot salsa while my wife prefers to change it up with their ever revolving salsa of the day.

Great burritos and salsa. Can never go wrong with the burrito of the week, and there's a new salsa every week too. Dining area is clean and decorated with all kinds of stickers. Only bad thing is the parking lot, lots of potholes and no parking spot lines.

Do not recommend the chicken from this place. Chicken did not have any seasoning on it and was dry. Ruined the chicken and cheese quesadilla which otherwise had a good amount of chicken and cheese. Chips are also unseasoned and bland. Would not go back a second time.

Cali Burrito a lehigh valley staple. I came here all the time as a teenager and bring my boyfriend here now that we’re back in the area. The food is just as good as I remember or better. we’ve been coming every week and the special burritos and salsas are always sooo good. long live cali b!

Paid 17.58 for a chicken bowl with veggies and quac but I only had 3 bites of chicken… disappointed. I could of made this at home for half the price with more chicken :(

There's probably five star burritos here but this day days creation was arm size and 99% beans and rice. Can’t really say that it was worth the high tag.

Haven't been here in years and was just as impressed as I was the first time. Burritos as big as your head (almost!) Cute place to hang and eat inside, the stickers on the walls are so fun to look at. You get a lot of food for the price. I definitely recommend you get some chips, too.

I’ve never been so confused by good reviews. It’s so loud in there, I had to repeat myself several times to cashier. This is the worst burrito I’ve ever had. When I got home it completely fell apart. I was expecting it to be crispy on outside, like pressed a little, like every other burrito I’ve ever had. I took two bites and couldn’t continue. Waste of money. And the chips are so greasy and oily. Only plus is that they have vegetarian options. The SEITAN smells and tasted like food I give my dogs. If the service was great I would have called before I submitted this but the manager on duty gave me a dirty look for asking a question.

Best burritos in the area I usually get pork which is very well seasoned. The quesadillas are pretty good as well. This is a popular spot and is because the food they serve is always pretty good.

Pretty good Britto if you get tired of the good old Chipotle, nice hot flavorful sauces, nice nachos, not really into the mushy guacamole, but all in all worth trying and a good chill vibe.

Some of the best food I ever had. People are very kind and food does take a bit to come out, but it's worth every second of the wait!

I would advise against going here for big orders/meeting orders, Kacie, the manger was not very thrilled I called. We have used this company before and was very good but requested the burritos to be wrapped individually because people were eating tinfoil as they were manually cut in our offices. I asked her to have them wrapped individually and she said they can’t do that- which it is a simple task. This entire time she seemed annoyed I was placing an order, said I could not substitute anything on the menu( I wasn’t, but she said it in a snippy way). As well as huffing and puffing every time I asked something. I will not be having my company go with them anymore. Their food is good though, which is a shame they have lost our business.

I did not go in. I had a pickup order. This was my first time trying on of their chicken burritos. The chicken was super bland. Did not have much flavor. It tasted like shredded chicken you get from the hospital. The chips were delicious but lacked an seasoning though. Was happy with the portion of everything but wish the chicken was better seasoned.

Have been here multiple times and it hits everytime. Burritos are huge and filling. Pictured is the San Diego fried fish tacos and the Big Sur burrito. Both were delicious. Food came quickly, only waited 5 minutes to eat. Plenty of seating inside and it's family friendly. Tons of people bring littles of all ages.

It’s like if you go to a store and buy average lettuce average tomato average ground beef and one of those cheap seasoning packets and wrapped them in a cold tortilla with way too much below average cheese and kinda decent sauce

I ordered the Old Monterey burrito, which has pulled chicken. It was very good and filling, and it came at a good price. I also got the queso of the day, which had bacon and jalapeño in it. Very good! Everything was comparable in price to your regular chain burrito places, but I would say the flavor and atmosphere was much better. Will be back!

We're recent transplants from CA, and this place was like a 5-hour flight in the 1 second it took to open the door. Finally food we recognize and love! Great job CB!

Love the vibe here! I ordered the Cortez burrito just wish it had a little more sauce on it, because it was too dry for me. Next time I’ll try something different. You get fresh tortilla chips and free salsa options.
