The best Tacos I have had in Allentown.

Excellent food! Excellent service! Excellent prices! Authentic Mexican food!. No disrespect to all the other great Mexican restaurants in the Lehigh Valley but this had to be the best damn steak burrito I've ever had!

This is absolutely the best Mexican food around. The Green Enchiladas with chicken and the Cactus and Dried Beef are both out of this world delicious 😋

Love the tacos. Drive 25 miles just to get them from Jim Thorpe. Been going to this restaurant for over 3 years. Nice Mom & Pop & daughter establishment

We looked for the best taqueria review in the Allentown area and the result was good in terms of service and flavor, the option to eat in the establishment is a little confusing to what we are used to, I think it is a store/market in the front and in the back there is tables to eat if you order right there. I think it is better to take orders and choose your dishes in the comfort of your home or a larger place. That time we were alone, but I imagine that if it had been a time when the tables were full, the meeting would have felt very tight. for diners.

This is the best place for street tacos and tamales. I used to live in Allentown and ate here several times a week. I recently came back for a visit and ate here 3 days in a row. Everything is very fresh and tastes amazing!

Took the kids here for dinner and I highly recommend. The people here are so nice and treated me and my kids so nicely. We had the pork torta, tacos and enchiladas with the Verde sauce. It was a bit spicy but so delicious! Can't wait to go back

Absolutely love this little taco spot it's pricey but worth it so if you haven't checked out this Taco spot I suggest you get up and get dressed and go before it closes lol enjoy it's really good food

Its little secret finds like these that warm my soul and belly. A friend put me on to placita when I moved back from NC. Lived in Allentown 20+ years and never decided to stop in until last summer. Im thankful I did because this is authentic food right here. For 10 bucks you get a burrito that can feed you twice! Fresh ingredients and pure fruit juices that are divine. They only take cash but its worth the ATM visit I promise you.

Super delicious salsa verde with the chips. Delicious lengua tacos..those are a bit pricey but still worth it. Refried beans on point. Super nice people. Definitely coming back!!!

Food was delicious, we ordered a bit of everything and split it all. Would have given 5 stars but the prices weren't on the menu and the surcharges for certain items were clearly listed.... so when we got the bill it was a little of a surprise, but the food was good so we didn't mind.

What a great spot!! My friend and co-worker brought me here for the first time while in Allentown on business. The food is terrific and the family that owns and runs it make you feel so welcome once you walk in the door. What warm and amazing people, my buddy Chris was absolutely right about this place. I got some steak and chicken burritos along with some taco salads for the team and didnt hear a single complaint about what anyone got. Highly recommend this spot.

I have qualified this to be the best Mexican food in all of the country, it is true. If I were inspired to write a song about Allentown, it would be because of La Placita. I love La Placita like family, they are the one of greatest places to keep going back to. The consistency is perfection every time.
