Not the best service this time around. Very arrogant host that tries to make you feel small for some odd reason. Food is good but there is good food all around with better service. We’ve come here for years, over and over but I have to say, never again! This place will not get my money anymore. It’s a shame that the service had driven us away from here, not the food.

Elegant, charming, timeless. A true gem of an establishment. Impeccable service and PHENOMENAL food. Also an award winning wine list. You really should go here at least once. One visit, I promise that you will be hooked.

It's hard to beat Camille's for a great meal experience. We ordered the chicken franchise and it was absolutely melt in your mouth delicious!

Just ok I wouldn’t spend that much $ there again

Went to Camille’s for our anniversary. First time at this establishment and it’s now my new favorite on the hill. The gentleman valet gave me prime parking for my motorcycle which was nice. We were seated at a very nice corner table, and ordered the arancini for an appetizer. My wife got a seafood dish, I got the chicken parm. All the food and service was fantastic. I will most certainly return.

Went for my dad's birthday. Got the bone in ribeye with seared scallops and potatoes. Housemade Cheesecake for desert. Excellent experience will be back

While in Providence for two days we came to Camille's to enjoy a very good meal. The dining area is elegant with some old world qualities. Service (by Jason) was of very high quality. The wine selection is extensive, with some high quality wines. The food was well prepared and very good. Note that you will pay for this quality. We recommend this restaurant for a fine dining experience.

I must say this is a fantastic place for either lunch or dinner up on the Hill. I go when my other favorite place is closed next door. This is a class act and the food is outstanding. They have valet parking and I love the veal here. The veal Parm is truly great. The pasta is really good and the Gravy is fantastic. The service has always been good. I now live in Florida and no Italian places even the good ones are no match for the Hill. I tell them fly to RI and get lessons from the chefs who really know Italian.food

Delious plates and studious staff are surrounded by intricate designs. It is one of the best places on the hill. Their fruit de mer is one of my favorites.

First off, fantastic service and atmosphere. The staff here were extremely attentive and pleasant. My wife and I had the mussels and oyster as an app. Oysters were on point and the vinaigrette they offer is absolutely delicious. Mussels: the broth was absolutely delicious but the mussels were overcooked, would suggest the chefs open up the mussels in a pan with the broth instead of stewing them. My wife’s bolognese was as traditional and delicious as it gets, straight from Nonna’s kitchen! I was in deep regret after tasting that when I was enjoying my entree. I ordered the CAPESANTE ALLA GIOVANNI and was a bit disappointed. The dish was deconstructed (not sure if that’s the right description see photo) which wasn’t what I had expected and the skillet with the crab, scallops, and cheese didn’t really have much flavor and I didn’t taste any of the flavors of the sauce that was supposed to be in there. Quality was great but it’s my own fault for not ordering a classic dish as I intended. Overall we were happy with our dining experience and will be back!

Loved the atmosphere, it had lovely sculptures, delicious appetizers and food. We had zucchini blossoms, which were delicious! And I had the swordfish with asparagus and potatoes. Would definitely go back!

One of the best meals I’ve ever heard. The most authentic Italian you can find and the service and atmosphere was top notch as expected. The zuppa di pesce was incredible and the spumoni was one of the best deserts I’ve ever tasted.

7 people in our group and everyone loved it. Possibly the best calamari there is . I had the chicken parm and it also was excellent. The service was every bit as good as food. I would highly recommend.

Everything about Camiles is great from valet service ,waiters and food.However I ordered Zuppa de Pesce tonight and was very underwelmed.My total shell count was two mussels,two clams ,two shrimps and some calamari. Broth was not bread dipping worthy and whole meal was just blah.Wanted to complain but have had some great meals there and wifes meal was exceptional. Just a heads up to keep the basics up to minimal standards as zuppa isn't a difficult dish to make me want to come back.

Fantastic experience at a Providence landmark. This is a real deal Italian restaurant. Every person we interacted with was professional and courteous and the food was spot on. Fried zucchini flowers and pork chops with vinegar peppers were my favorite.

Dined here recently . First time eating here and to say we were happy is an understatement . Food was good but the service was second to none . Our waiter Jason was one of the best we’ve had anywhere. Vert knowledgeable and personable . Seemed to have a great feel and timing for the flow of the restaurant . Dessert we had the mocha cheesecake which was just alright . Will definitely be back

Always a great place for a business event or personal night out

Our server was so awesome and coursed the food perfectly with drinks, split our apps and salad onto 2 plates and was very knowledgeable. Wine selection was very impressive…even half bottle and by the glass selection! Our table was tucked away in a corner pre set so our backs were to the corner …very thoughtful and lovely. We will definitely be back.

Everything was delicious, we had clams casino… wedge salad…. Chicken Marsala and Gnocci a la vodka. Tremendous, would def go back again. Also the special of cannolis for dessert was the best cannoli I’ve had. So fresh!

The food and service were both phenomenal. It was my wife’s birthday and they put us in a private room to celebrate which we really appreciated. Our server was very knowledgeable and professional. The food was terrific as always. We certainly will be back. Would highly recommend.

We go out to eat a lot. And Camille’s was quite possibly one of the top 3 best restaurants we’ve ever been to. The place is gorgeous. The staff is phenomenal. And the food was some of the best I’ve literally ever had. I can’t recommend this place more!!!

Had a great 4 year anniversary at Camille’s the other night. Jonathan was great, my partner and I serve at high end restaurant's so understand the expectations. Being professional but the twist of personable goes a long way and is noted, instead of just professional, he was open to conversation which other high end places don’t care much for.. all around, great experience, will be back and ask for him, job well done to management with great overall staff.

I had reserved a table in the dining room which I’m sure would have been much nicer atmosphere, but my two friends wanted to sit at the bar which was extremely slow for Valentine’s Day . The bartender had no personality whatsoever. The food was excellent but wish we had Sat in the dining room, it would have been a lot better experience. Have been going to Camille’s for years and can honestly say it was so much better before they changed the bar area . We used to dine there every weekend and sit in the dining area adjacent to the bar near the fireplace. The entertainment was always top notch and it was one of the only Classy places in RI left where you could fine and dance. The bar now is very cold looking definitely needs some decorative touches to make the atmosphere nicer. They should have nice piano music or a solo artist like Ron Giorgio playing in the bar area. The place would be full every weekend like it once was!

Great service starting with the valet parking attendant. Waiter was very courteous and prompt. I took 3 business colleagues from out of town and they are raving about the food also.

Haven't been in some time. Always came with a few friends and had a good time. This time, it was very unimpressive. Moat, importantly, the food wasn't very good. Very bland. The crab cakes were heavily breaded , dry, and lacked actual crab. The filet was not cooked to order, way over done, but the cut was tender, but overall, a boring dish, demi was watery. Halibut was a nice cut but bland bland bland. Risotto was ok but again expected better. Jessica was very nice. Wine list is ok. Place still has old world charm so you have to come in expecting old school and I still like it but wife did not. Maybe I'm being too picky, and I'm way off base. Seamed busy enough, so who knows....but at almost 400 beans I and my better want to be happily satisfied 😌

The restaurant obliged us with the table requested at the time of our reservation, which was very much appreciated. This my first time ordering their "famous lasagne". It was packed with meat and cheese, but no discernible tomato in the sauce. It's listed on the menu as a bolognese sauce, but I would respectfully disagree. I did ask the waiter for a side of marinara sauce, which cut through some of the heavy richness and made the dish more enjoyable (at least for me). However, to balance this out, my husband had the bone-in pounded veal chop parmigiano which was outstanding. Service here is always impeccable and the atmosphere is lovely.

Starting with the valet, he was attentive and super friendly and speedy. The atmosphere of the restaurant was perfect. Our waiter was friendly and very funny! Not only did we enjoy our meal and drinks, but the service was outstanding. Hands down the best Crème Brûlée we've ever had. Drinks were great. The bread was okay, kind of dry, but we aren't big bread people. Started with the wedge salad and the waiter split it for us due to big portion sizes and it was the perfect amount, and incredible. Highly recommend. We both ordered the one of the specials and they were delicious. Portions were huge, so we took a lot home. They didn't tell us the price of the specials and we didn't ask, but that didn't bother us considering how much food we got. Can't wait to return! Such a great experience.

Well Executed Italian food with an emphasis on the local seafood bounty in New England. The oysters were fantastic. The beef carpaccio was excellent, although smothered in salad. For entrees wife had the seafood casserole and I had the Sirloin steak with scallops. Both phenomenal. For dessert the 5 layer chocolate cake was rich and plentiful. Perfect end to a wonderful meal.

From start to finish, the Service was impeccable! The food was superb as well. First time customer, but far from the last time!

I lived in Providence in the 80's and always loved Camilles ,,, I happen to be back in town for the day and decided to revisit it and it was just as I remembered excellent service ,authentic food, wonderful portions .... I realized on my way home I need to get back more often !!!! Keep up the great work

Never have I been to a restaurant that presented itself as a high end establishment (with prices to match) serving such mediocre food. I am truly disappointed in TripAdvisor for steering me wrong this time. The decor was aesthetically pleasing, this is the only positive thing I have to say about Camille's. We ordered several dishes. From the greasy zucchini flowers to the incredibly thick chicken parm. Each was worst then the next.

It’s a beautiful original Italian resturaunt - higher end with attentive wait staff. The kid you would go out for a special celebration or date dinner. Food was delish. Staff was attentive. Budget to pay min $50-75/ person for great food. Huge wine selection. Valet parking.

We love Camille’s. The quality of the food is excellent. Service is amazing. Not on the lunch menu? No problem we’ll make you anything on the dinner menu. My only critique is that I think the beef carpaccio should be the star of the dish, which it is not. It’s a great appetizer but hides the carpaccio.

Great food. Great atmosphere. The bus people were friendly, as was the host. The only downside was the waiter. He spoke down to us, looked like we were boring him with questions. He told us to wait to decide what we wanted to order because there were specials, then disappeared for 15 minutes. When he came back and gave the specials, he appeared agitated, barely spoke above a whisper, and then wanted us to decide right away. He was clearly miserable, and consequently made us feel uncomfortable.

Dining at Camille’s Restaurant is ALWAYS a wonderful experience. The food, the atmosphere, and the service is amazing. The zucchini stuffed flowers appetizer is not to be missed! If you are looking for a special occasion, this is the restaurant to choose.

Camille's is an elegant gem with impeccable service and exquisite ambiance. We loved that they do not cram tables into the space, creating a very luxurious experience. The food is outstanding from the traditional dishes like clams casino to the more innovative chef-inspired selections, like pistachio crusted rack of lamb with vanilla flecked sweet potatoes. The price is higher than other area restaurants, but dining here is very special.

It was worth the 40 minute drive to Prov. We were 40 min. early for our 6pm Res. No problem. Waiter was a pro. Very accommodating to us splitting appetizers... Plated them for us. Also one of us asked for a modification of an entree again vey accomadating. All in all a great spot and exceptional dinning experience.
