Good food, and great atmosphere, food took a while to come. Maybe just the day of the week or order got lost in the hustle. Overall, great place and great people.

This is hands down the best pizza I’ve ever had, and I’ve lived in nyc and Florence. It was recommended to me by a friend from Turin and I’m stilling thinking about the pizza a week later. I ordered the marinara because of lactose intolerance. Light, airy dough. Explosive flavors in the sauce. I have a gluten allergy and I didn’t feel my usual heaviness afterwards. Can’t recommend highly enough. It’s loud on the street if you’re sitting outside but nice interior. Great service.

Bartender told me they closed early (almost an hour - because it was "a slow/mellow night"), despite the oven still going and a fresh pizza about to go in. I got food next door, saw two people walk in and were seated at the bar, they were obviously lying and just didn't want the business. That's cool, I was really looking forward to an actual Neapolitan style pizza, but I guess not. From other reviews, it looks like I'm not the only one they've discriminated against. I'm sure they had their reasons for doing so.

The pizza is delicious, i love the crust! Nice rustic place. The service was OK, not through the roof or down south. Staff were nice but something was definitely off. Not a fuzzy warm feeling, so dont expect a warm greeting. Service could be more genuine. Customers can feel the service. Other than that, the pizza crust was the best here.

The place was ok. I asked to add some bits to a listed pizza but, apparently, the chef was not ok adding the spicy sausage to the standard pizza I ordered. In addition to this, we asked for a side of red sauce (gravy) to dip in, but were also denied this. The pizza is not sliced at all, which would be fine with their crust if the scissors they gave you didn't fall apart all the time. Honestly, the pomp and circumstance here just doesn't equate to the actual product. There are so many places in Providence that don't require you to work for their food that are better and actually allow you to customize without the pretense. Just try another place, there are plenty of amazing pizza places in Providence. I will say though that the service was great. The woman running the tables was great and crushed it with the experience. Just wish that the food was better.

Couldn’t even get in. We got there around 5:30. Two tables empty, no indication of needing a reservation on their outdated website (supposedly you need to call ahead at 4 and they open at 5, how on Earth am I supposed to know that?). However, I can accept that part when they said the tables are reserved, sure 2 tables could be pending people getting there. But I refuse to believe that their entirely empty 12-seat bar could not accommodate a party of 2. Couldn’t seat us anywhere til 8. Ridiculous. Why have the bar even

I came in with a friend on Friday night around 7:30, without a reservation. Luckily we were able to be seated at the bar pretty quickly. The host and bartender were so friendly and the bartender made an excellent mocktail. Beets are one of my favorite foods so when we were told the pizzas would take a while, I took that opportunity to try the coal roasted beet special. The portion was huge and I loved the taste. The burrata pizza was also delicious. I’ll definitely be back!

Used to be a local here but food quality has gone down over the past 2 years. The pizza has become smaller and thinner now leaving the centers soggy and flimsy. Prices have raised. I was served a cheap bottle of Stewart's root beer for $7! They used to serve Abita root beer. How outrageous is that! The last 2 times the chicken thighs were raw. First time I was told sorry that's how it was cooked with no refund or replacement. The last time we were promised a replacement and it never came after we waited about 1 hour for it. Waiter acted like she didn't know and said you must be full so she didn't bring the cooked chicken and decided to just refund the dish. Disappointed with both the food and service after 2 years of coming here.

The ambiance was cute and warm inside. The menu was interesting with a display of different pizzas, entrees and perversions of authentic Italian dishes. The Panzanella salad had great taste but it is a travesty to call it Panzanella with olives, cheese and parsley inside??? Definitely not Panzanella but tasty . ( Pick a different name) same thing with a couple other items on the menu. The pizza is too dense and wet in the middle as a result of the sauce not being pureed or strained enough. Also tasted very "tinny" They could have a home run if they could take some moisture out of the pizza sauce, use less of it, and add oregano to it. It also might help if they used a smidgeon less yeast in the dough and let it rise another 12-24 hours. Would go back and try again to judge consistency.

I've eaten my way through Providence and have never wanted to send back a dish or walk out of a restaurant until now. We ordered the Chicken Thighs and an Arugula Pizza. The chicken was tough, over seasoned and difficult to stomach. The Pizza was less offensive, however the dough was bland and chewy. The waitress was friendly and she is carrying the entirety of the second star. Maybe it was on off night since there are so many good reviews, but I would never have served that food to anyone in my own home let alone a restaurant.

I was having a 5-star time at figidini, right up to when they applied a hefty charge for a little olive oil for my pizza without warning, and were rude to me for the rest of my stay, after I dared protest. I had originally wanted to get take-out, but was told they were short-staffed and only dine-in would be possible. I decided to arrange to go there. When I arrived, there were three two-tops, one person sitting at the bar, a host/manager, a bartender, and a calm-looking kitchen - a little odd for “too busy for takeout,” but ok. I was welcomed an put in a cozy corner of the bar, so far so good. The bartender kindly told me there was vegan cashew cheese, but then told me they were out. Ok, no problem. Said was concerned the pizza would be slow since I was in a rush, but it came out very quickly. Great. I asked for olive oil and red pepper for my pizza - I have lived in NYC for years and this is a fairly standard request. She asked me if I wanted my oil “grassy” or “peppery”, which I thought was unusual, but did not lead me to believe I was about to slather high grade olive oil on my pizza. She brought a small saucer with oil and a ramekin of pepper flakes, which I mixed, not realizing I was choking fancy oil. She at no point thought to mention to me this tiny bit of oil was special, and going to cost a sizeable percentage of the price of my pizza I do not appreciate feeling misled or taken advantage of, and She never tried to educate me about what I was buying, despite her fairly slow, rainy weeknight. It seemed to me the bartender was just trying to improve her check average at my expense. I enjoyed my pizza very much. Really, some of the best I’ve had recently, suitable for most gluten-intolerant people. I think only a card-carrying celiac would have a problem with it. Thin pizza, doughy crust, good flavor to the tomato, overall very well made. I had a pleasant chat with the host/manager about it. All was well. When I got the check, I saw the charge, and it kind of soured my sense of enjoyment one should have after a $20+ pizza. It took me some time to get the bartender’s notice. She had been doing side work to leave, but now was chatting with the staff and then literally just standing there, so much so that the host/manager nearly intervened before she saw me. I was as conciliatory and polite as I could be about my complaint. I explained never in my life had I been charged for oil for a pizza, and would have appreciated an opportunity to say, No thank you. The bartender looked at me like I must be the hugest idiot she had possibly ever encountered. She pitched how special, expensive, imported their olive oil is, etc. I replied I appreciated the magic and value of the oil, but objected to having it explained after the fact, not before, I had clearly never been there before and could not have been expected to know, etc, etc. This went on while, I remained polite, as her disdain for me became increasingly visible. If she had been apologetic or understanding, I might have let it go, but she had clearly decided working with the customer was not on her to-do list for me. I finally said plainly, I am very sorry, but I will not be paying for this charge. She sighed loudly, grabbed my check roughly, huffed off to the register, huddled with the host/manager/owner?, came back, and slapped the check down in front of me in a manner I can safely say was the rudest I have ever witnessed at a full-service restaurant. And I have worked for years at full-service restaurants. My next appointment had been cancelled, so I sat a few minutes, but now the bartender was banging around loudly behind the bar for my benefit, while fully ignoring me. I tipped 20%, despite everything, but the host/manager also deliberately ignored me when I said thank you as I left. I read reviews of other brown-looking people feeling they were treated poorly here. Did the two blonds do it because this brown girl got uppity, or was it Equal Opportunity rudeness? I’ll never know. But it was an unfortunate encounter at an otherwise lovely establishment.

I came here on a Wednesday night hoping to catch a quick bite and take one home for my husband. Unfortunately, neither happened as I was not given the opportunity to taste anything. When I arrived, the first thing I was told was to come back at 8pm. When I showed my walking cane due to the fact I am handicapped and replied that I cannot come back, I was told again, "sorry, no..." So I even suggested a take-out order, but that was not possible as well. The maitre'd suggested I should have called but I stated that when I tried to make a reservation online via OpenTable, she quickly noted that they are not using them anymore. However, when I tried to point out that the links to OpenTable are available from both the Google and Bing search engines for the restaurant do nothing, AND that there is no mention on the website to call ahead to the restaurant directly for ANY reservation, she went back into sorry mode. Flabbergasted, I bit my tongue and left without ever trying anything and I will NOT return here ever.
