My husband and I were craving some good Italian and found this little place. Our server Skylar was very friendly. The calamari was good. I had an eggplant dish I can't remember the name of that was absolutely amazing. The red sauce was delicious. I really want to try the pizza but I'm not sure I'll ever be able to order anything here other than that yummy eggplant dish. We will be back!

Pizza was delicious but I’ve never had a restaurant use mushroom stems on their pizza , otherwise it would have been a 5 ⭐️

Yes. Yes, yes, and yes. I know Italian food, and this right here. This is some good stuff. You want to know the best part? The shrimp. I got rigatoni with vodka sauce and added shrimp. I will judge an Italian restaurant based on how much shrimp they add to a dish. They added 6 shrimp. Yes you read that right, SIX shrimp. There’s no worse feeling paying $6-$9 extra dollars to only get 3 shrimp. This place? Not even a question. 6 shrimp off the cuff, this is what I’m talking about. Delicious food, the galamad looked like onion rings but were still good. I’m a big fan of the tentacles galamad, but I’m not going to cause an uproaring about it. Only thing I need to roar about is them adding six shrimp, just amazing. Shrimp

I’ve driven by Campanella’s several times and I finally got a chance to try the food and it was incredible! You can tell they take pride in the quality of ingredients and have a great family atmosphere. I had the pizza which was amazing. Can’t wait to go back!

I had take out the lasagna and let me tell you, they win the prize for the WORST lasagna I've ever had. I took 2 bite and spit out one, then thew away the rest and will never go again.

I’ve heard great things from my friends about Campanella’s, and wow, it was so good! We had been looking for a great Italian place, and the bolognese, meatballs, burrata, garlic knots, pizzas were all fantastic. Spaghetti was cooked to perfection, the portions were generous, and the presentation was so clean. They really keep up the standard to be best of the best. Quality is also fantastic. I’m SO glad I found this gem! Thank you!

I met a friend at Campanella's last week and had a lovely lunch. It included a delicious salad, bread, and my main meal was chicken picata over pasta. It was so delicious I took an order home for my husband for dinner. The owner indicated that they may be making their own from scratch pasta soon. Looking forward to that treat. Great place to enjoy a beautiful meal.

We ordered takeout the 1st time and decided to order in this time. We had pizza both times and I must say delish! We ordered margarita/Florentine and a pepperoni. We live out of the country, that is our only reason we can't come back. Great little place to eat !

Coming from someone who has traveled Italy and eaten around the world this place was amazing! We had house salads, spaghetti and ravioli. It was all amazing. If your eating out on a budget M-T before 2:30 15% off and $5 Sangrias. The decor was nice, music good. I can't wait to return!

I'm going to give this restaurant a 5 star review, And if you're wondering why,well, It's because the beer was cold. If floridians grew up with this type of Italian restaurant, then I would call it fair, but this restaurant would never make it in New York. I had Lasagna and it was so thick and doughy with no meat sauce. The food was lacking a lot of flavor and spices. Very overpriced For an Italian restaurant in a strip mall. And by the way, if you want more bread, it's 50 cents for a little nugget. That's crazy. They should be including the bread for free.

We are Foodies and food critics, really tough on food. Five stars do not come easy from us. First time here, and they knocked it out of the park. We had spaghetti with sausage and peppers for one dish, and the other dish was cheese raviolis with mushroom and chicken, both were excellent. House salad was excellent. Hot bread and $5 sangria's. We didn't come here for a deal but we got there before 2:30 and received an unexpected early bird 15% off your meals for being there before 2:30. If you like real Italian cooking, give it a try, if you think Olive Garden is real Italian, keep going to Olive Garden lol. We will be back to try the entire menu!

The Fettucine Alfredo So Many Calories So Authentically Decadebt.

Very nice local place for Italian food and pizzas. Not sandwiches or subs. Pizza is thin crust and cooked well, didn't try any toppings. Meatball appetizer as good great flavor and not too dense. Also had the Rigatoni Bolognese, pasta cooked al dente, Bolognese was smooth and flavorful. I prefer a little bit more of a deeper beef taste but that's my own preference. Luch time the entrees are 15% off!

Absolutely outstanding you won't visit once

Hands down the best lasagna we have ever had and the tiramisu was amazing. The restaurant is extremely clean and very attractive. Perfect for a quick bite or a nice dinner out. Beer and wine are available. Very reasonable pricing and fantastic service. We will visit again!

Nice find with exellent food! I was very impressed with the food! The Calamari appitizer was fantastic, when served you would think you were just served hugh round onion rings, but it is very large thick cut carlimari rings (no tenicles) thebrings were supper soft to chew!!! The meatball appetizer also very good, 3 large balls with a sauce and garlic toast. Hubbuy had spaghetti meat sauce he really liked it, I had the veal marsalla it was excellent sauce and I asked for mushrooms on the side they were fresh and all was great had some sangria as well. We will be back soon.

So I ordered food to go. I live not too far away and when I got home to sit down and eat everything was still hot. The chicken parmigiana was low end, chicken was tough, thin and had no flavor other than salty

The food is delicious, the pizza exquisite, the pasta Not to mention and the squid was splendid, the service is very good, the cozy atmosphere is highly recommended.

Went tonight with my father. Great food. Great service. Nice easy atmosphere. Too much food to eat but it was very good. We'll be going back.

Had dinner tonight. Really enjoyed the house salad. The pasta dish was delicious. The bread was nice and crusty. Loved it all.

Second time here, the eggplant roll appetizer was good but cold on the inside, we got the Campanella pizza, again it was ok. The crust wasn’t crispy, the sauce was good, I felt like they skimped on the pepperoni and sausage.

This marks our 4th visit so far. Found this by chance on the way home from a grandson’s baseball game. Pizza is very flavorful, love the peppers for that extra flavor. Service is quick and on point. Our food to place when we come north.

I didn't have a chance to experience this restaurant husband purchased gift certificates for this establishment but due to him becoming ill and the pandemic they now have new owners and they won't except the gift certificate. Speaks values maybe it's best for me. This restaurant will never be one I will visit if it was the only Italian restaurant in Florida. Thanks to the new owner. It's not about free food, I didn't realize it was new owners the young lady answering the phone replied let her ask she came back and said they have new owners my guess that would be you. I wish your business much success. I won't be participating in making that happen, I rather spend my money elsewhere not at your establishment. Your response can ruin your on business. Good luck and have a blessed life. The gift certificates had no expiration date on them by the way I shredded them because I will never set foot in your restaurant. And I won't spend one of my hard working dollars to visit your restaurant you could of gain a customer but instead you lost one doesn't matter to you. I read some of the reviews you lost others customers maybe you need to focus on better food and customer service. Good luck hope food and service is better than the owner response. I will never forget how rude the owner is at this restaurant. Most of the new reviews are hidden but keep reading and the truth will be revealed. I never wanted anything for free was just asking a question. I didn't know the business was sold my husband live Italian food thanks too you we never got to visit, he purchased the gift certificate and yes COVID came he was ill. Finally he got better called and encountered the new owner. I hope you changed but reading some of the reviews you don't care about running your business in the ground.

We hadn’t been to Campanella’s in a while, and decided to try them out for pizza. So glad we did! We ordered the burrata, and a half veggie/half meat lover pizza. I have to say, the burrata with tomatoes, prosciutto, balsamic and bread was amazing! The pizza was perfect, just the right balance of not too thick, not too thin. The server was so attentive and friendly, he made the whole dining experience enjoyable. Our visit was so memorable, it made me wonder why we don’t eat here more often. So, we will! Highly recommend.

The pizza was quite good last time we ate here (about two years ago), so this time we tried dinner. Oh, boy... the veal piccata was ordered with fettuccine, it arrived with penne; the veal was very tough and had a strange flavor. Caesar salads were the inner, "white" part of the romaine and the croutons were like rocks (like what you get out of a box). On the plus side, the putanesca was excellent. And I'm sure the petite young lady that waited on us is a very nice person, but she requires serious training before she's ever allowed anywhere near a restaurant again. I would normally talk to management first about an experience like this, but I seemed to be invisible to anyone but our waitress.

Changes to menu, increased prices after recently increasing the prices, but still friendly! Always clean & comfortable! Delicious food!!! 😋 We dine-in occasionally, but some items/options aren't available dining in. - i.e. Pizza sizes, garlic knots, etc.. We prefer delivery & takeout... The orders offer more menu items & options! They could add a nice Italian themed wall & decoration at the front window & entrance. - for a better vibe when you look at it from outside, for privacy, & when you walk in.

Penne ala Cognac is the best dinner. Indulgent with great taste and it pairs best with sausage!

I had real masala which was different than what I am used to but nonetheless tasting great. My server was a wonderful young lady very sweet and accommodating. Definitely a restaurant to try for some better than usual down home Italian cooking. Some of the better Italian I've had since moving to Florida. Again I will be back there

New and amazing Italian. Not the same pizza place it was, under new ownership and renovated atmosphere. We usually go downtown St. Pete for good Italian food, but so happy to know there’s a great place nearby. From food to service, it was honestly amazing. 100% recommend and we will definitely be back.

Food was outstanding. We had a party of 12 of my Italian family there to celebrate our matriarch s life. The food was absolutely delicious. Portion size large.

We were visiting from out of state and decided to take a chance on Campanella’s. I am so glad we did! EVERYTHING we ate was absolutely amazing. The bruschetta was the best I’ve ever had. Our waiter, Dean, was very attentive and knew the menu well-and he makes a killer sangria! We’ll definitely come back next time we’re in town.

We got 3 pizzas plus entree and the food was great and came out in good time. Very impressed.

My wife and I had a wonerful experience dining here. Staff are very pleasant and the food was awsome. She had pizza and I had chicken with vodka sauce, the best I have ever had. Prices are reasonable and portions are good sized.

I ordered pizza delivered from here and it was absolutely delicious. My friend and I were looking for a place to go tonight and I had ravioli and she had manicotti. They were both phenomenal. The salad was really good and I really like the dressing. The service was excellent.

This place SUCKS! The '' food '' is terrible and the people running the place are even worse. Don't waste your time going to this place unless you like being sick.

I have been here several times in the last month and every time I dine here the food is delicious. They also have very good lunch specials as well. Staff and management always ensure your experience is wonderful and you never leave hungry!

Been several years since I've been here (use to come with my family all the time as I was growing up) -- this place has had a HUGE glow up since my last visit. No longer a darker old fashion place. Very bright/good lighting, new decor and new vibes. (And apparently new management) Very pleased. Menu was much smaller then I remembered and I missed seeing Carbonara and Campanella's signature pasta dish but was told that if they weren't busy in the future, that I could ask if they could make it and they might be able to accommodate. Service was great. Food was great. Beer was draft only and came in very small (but thick glasses mugs) which was a little off putting. Food came out very hot and tasted very fresh. Will definitely come back. Finished it off with Lemonchello cake for dessert.

Food was good but a bit pricey for the atmosphere. Very noisy and terrible music. Service is good. Give you a roll but no butter. No salt and pepper on the table.

Hadn't been in years. Loved the new decor. Terrific service. Our waiter was knowledgeable and friendly. Everyone loved their meals. I had the special pizza and it was delicious.

A warm welcome back. Recently moved back to the area and was delighted to see the restaurant still here. Everything we ordered was well portioned and absolutely delicious. The chicken Marsala is so creamy, dense but not over whelming. Eggplant Parm, no words, just perfect. Thin crust full flavored, hand tossed pies. You have to make this stop if you're in the neighborhood.

Had a 1st experience here tonight and it was Horrible. I don't know if I can bring myself back here to try again 😭. We ordered our meals at 7:08 and received our salad at 7:28. I know it's Saturday night but there are 7 empty tables and 5 plus our eating. The waiter was argumentative and inattentive. Their Marinara is a sweet sauce if that's your thing. My husband had Chicken Parm he said it was a little better than meh. I had stuffed shells (3) I ate one and it was meh. The decor and bench seating was the best part.

I went in to pick up food and when I arrived it was not quite ready yet so I sat down by the register and watched the guy preparing the order. He proceeded to stick his fingers in his nose ( thumb in one side and middle finger in the other side ) and wiggle them . I guess he had an itch. To my dismay he went right back to making the order after wiping his hand on his shirt. If you don't like snot on your food I would suggest going somewhere else.

My husband and I have been here twice now and everything we have tried has been amazing! We especially liked the tortellini Alfredo and lasagna. The service was also great and Jerry does a fantastic job taking care of us and giving suggestions for things to try! Highly recommend trying this place if you’re in the mood for Italian.

We have been to Campanellas multiple times through the years and always enjoyed our favorite dishes. It had been a while since we've been and craving Italian food we decided to visit again. We were pleasantly surprised with the remodel of the dining room, so much brighter. Also our server Jerry, was very responsive and really knew the menu well. We ordered a couple different dishes and they were both AWESOME!! We will definitely be back sooner than later and bring our family to join us.

Phenomenal authentic Italian food, made with passion by real Italians. The service was very personal and we could tell it was a small, family owned restaurant. Will definitely return!

Campanella's Italian Restaurant was a very nice dining experience. I had the Eggplant Parmesan with Penne which was delicious with a generous portion. My husband had the Penne Cognac which he enjoyed very much and the Chicken Piccata was delicious my son remarked. I would recommend Campanella's if you are looking for affordable, great Italian cuisine.

I like their food, however, tonight I ordered and ordered a stromboli w/o mushrooms, for delivery. Stromboli arrived with mushrooms, and I understand mistakes happen.. but when I called, they said it was “ a mistake by the kitchen” I said my husband cannot eat mushrooms, they said “ sorry.” No offer of a replacement or anything. Very disappointed.

The only place I have found since moving to Florida whose pizza taste close to Philly's Pizza which is by far the best on the planet! Love this place!

Best bruschetta I've ever had! Chicken Picatta was fantastic and my boys loved the fettuccine alfredo. House salad was a great mix of greens and very fresh.

The remodel really brightens the place up!! We have wonderful service & amazing food EVERY time we go to Campanella’s!! They have gained two regulars out of us. They are always welcoming, accommodating, & attentive through the entire meal. The food is also incredible each time & they have sizable entrees! Also they have a great wine selection! Honestly can’t say enough great things. We really love going here so definitely give them a try!!

Walked in ordered a pepperoni pizza to go and it was done in 15 minutes, perfect! The staff was friendly and the pizza was very good. Kinda thin crist with a nice fluffy outer crust. Great date atmosphere if you are looking for some where to go!! Thanks for a good dinner! Will order again 5 star

The newly renovated interior livens up the restaurant. Service was great and the food was delicious. Definitely a super upgrade from the previous version of the restaurant. I will be returning regularly. I recommend the Tortellini Alfredo with the chicken option. 🤤

Absolutely excellent staff. The food is incredible. Our server recommended a buratta salad in place of the caprese and it was phenomenal. Simple but amazing ingredients put together thoughtfully is the theme, and judging by everything we ordered, it works exceptionally. The atmosphere is perfect for dining with a partner or a family. The recent renovations are excellent and the entire experience was wonderful. We cannot wait to return. This is hands down the first place to consider for Italian cuisine in the area.

We had been avoiding this place for over a year because of unfavorable reviews. We drove by an noticed a sign indicating new ownership so we stopped in. We chatted with the friendly server who told us two brothers now own it (we could see them working hard in the kitchen). We opted to try pizza and were thrilled with the Little Italy pizza - it’s our new favorite pizza hands down. My other half loves sausage and I’m not a fan, but this sausage is not the typical fatty slime most places use. Their sauce has a lovely tang to it and their pepperoni is perfectly spiced. Even their crust is delish. I’m always skeptical when ordering a house salad- there is nothing more disappointing getting a pile of iceberg lettuce drenched in some jar dressing. Campanella’s makes their own dressing (YUM) and it’s served on tasty mixed greens (no icebergs in sight) They clearly care about the ingredients they use which is a huge WIN in my book…now if I could just get my other half to eat a salad 🙄 UPDATE: They have completely remodeled and it looks LOVELY! They have taken the worn out old school Italian pizza kitchen vibe and have transformed it into a bright beautiful dining space! We go here at least twice a month. From the meatballs to the Alfredo and then to the spectacular house made sangria- the brothers have transformed this restaurant into a wonderful dining experience.

We just had 13 ladies go there for lunch. Food was wonderful! The service was outstanding!!! Every one was happy with the food from Pasta dishes to Delicious Pizze. Many of us will be back again.

Ordered carry out from dinner menu. It was the first time we tried their food. It was awesome! Ravioli in vodka sauce, side of meatballs and chicken alfredo. Everything was fresh and delicious.

Awesome service, great atmosphere with delicious food! We very much enjoyed the rolled eggplant appetizer. 10/10. The chef/owner came out to talk to us about our meals and was very nice and accommodating to what we were craving that night. Veal was a little bit tough but still enjoyable. Pesto sauce and Picatta were so good, nothing was left on the table. Thank you for a great dinner!

I used to live fairly close & eat here. I remember great pizza & this 1970's Brooklyn NY style Italian restaurant vibe Just recently, I returned starving for a 10" personal sized pizza ( almost all Italian restaurants offer that size.) Not here anymore. " UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT " Bright white walls like a hospital, no wall art or decor. Not cozy like before. Had to order a Medium pie. Mushroom and onions. First I piled on the parmesan cheese & crushed red pepper. Neither helped. Their pie has zero taste to me.The sauce was super bland ( important for a good pie) The bottom crust was like cardboard. I had to saw back & forth with my knife a couple of times to break through.I was tempted to ask for salt and pepper shakers to give it flavor ( but I didn't want to embarrass my waiter. They were very nice guys , by the way) Took leftovers home in a box & tossed it away. I wish them lots of luck, but this pizza lover will not be returning.

After an intense workout, I had the pleasure of dining at Campanella’s Italian Restaurant, and it was the perfect post-workout treat! The pasta dishes were not only delicious but also provided the satisfying, hearty meal I needed to refuel. The combination of the flavorful sauces and perfectly cooked pasta was a fantastic reward for my efforts at the gym. Wonderful experience! A+++ Service and fantastic dishes! I recommend them highly. Fresh ingredients, great presentation and nice portions. The atmosphere is classic, yet new age modern. Neighborhood gem. Owners are friendly and very accommodating.
