Top tier service and amazing course

Beautiful grounds. Multiple courses, some more challenging. New and comfy carts. The Barbara came around frequently with the nicest lady. Friendly staff. The clubhouse is comfy, updated, very nice without being snobby. Jim, the bartender, makes excellent drinks and is very personable. Food is good.

Went for lunch, and the food and service were delightful. The view is wonderful - looking over the golf course.

This place is deserving of being a country club. The standards are your level. The club house as well as the course are top rated and beautifully maintained. Caddy is available to you for a additional fee of 20 USD PER PERSON which is neat touch! The greens are very true and course is pristine. The Mc Cormick Foundation runs the club and one can see attention to details. Highly recommend a round here!! Enjoy

My son takes lessons there and he loves it! The kids league course is such a great bonus and I love playing with him there!

Great for a recent charity event.

Went to a catered event at the clubhouse. The chicken was cooked to perfection, but the gravy was bland. The broccoli had mushy tops and aldentestems.

Courses are in great shape as usual!

Played here for the first time for a company golf outing. Golf course is immaculate, except for a little construction going on, I understand that. Nice course design, carts had USB ports which is a plus! The dinner food was a little lacking, not really much taste in the food. I’d play here again, but not eat here.

We recently had my mother's 80th birthday party at Cantigny Golf. The venue is beautiful and the staff are wonderful to work with.

Played woodside & lakeside on Father's day with friends. But beautiful and challenging courses are no excuse for the constant badgering by the rangers on pace of play. In the first 9 holes, we were "reminded" 3 - 4 times on keeping pace. Never mind the fact we finished the front 9 in well under 2 hrs with all four players finishing under 80. Back 9 was the same. Is this the norm here? I didn't pay $135 to be rushed off your course. Then, after golf, wanted to enjoy a couple drinks back at the clubhouse. Nope. When we tried to order, the bartender flipped out, complaining about how many drinks she had to make and how busy she was. As if that wasn't enough, after she hastily walked away, her co worker behind the bar didn't even acknowledge our presence. (Not another soul standing at the bar, mind you). Very poor service cast a dark cloud on what should of been a great father's day. Won't be going back anytime soon.

I used the "Golf Academy" or driving range. $10.00 for a medium bucket of balls was cheaper than other places I went to.

Cantigny is a gorgeous place to golf and to have lunch.

Usually just come for the practice facilities, very nice.

Absolutely amazing…even with the rain delay. The course couldn’t be any cleaner. (Joe Groundskeeper, 👍🏾😎👍🏾) Woodside and Lakeside may not the best for beginners, but it was so worth it. Bartender Bill brought out some smoked nachos during the delay. Smoked Nachos, who would have thought. Of course I cannot forget Michelle Cart Lady who kept the buzz going. What a sweetheart. I will be back once Hillside is ready. The premium course is well worth the price. (GPS Golf Carts are a must these days) I will be back with a team of people for an outing I am planning for Hillside!

I was here for a golf outing, and the staff could not have been more friendly and professional. And the food after the golf outing was fantastic. Really worth the money!

Beautiful course and great staff. Very tight course for some holes and challenges abound every where. They have some great practice facilities too and everything is top notch. I would go here more often if jt were closer to me!

Amazing space, property and golf

Was there to book a shower event so can only say what I saw while there. The golf course is absolutely pristine. The flowers and trees are beautifully taken care of by the staff. Carts can be rented or golfers can walk the course. Ponds and fountains are everywhere. The clubhouse is immaculate, with a golf shop, cafe and restaurant for your enjoyment.

Love this place and the staff, well at least most of them there is always a crabby person working at a golf course, right? Great course and best practice facility in the area. Lots of PGA pros and great teachers. I have a swing coach here, and he stops and says hi even when I am not getting a lesson. The teaching staff like what they do and it shows. 2024 Starting this season major renovations starting with the Hillside course.

Beautiful grounds, wonderful golf tracks!

Went on Sunday for Breakfast with Santa. Very disappointed the food selection was meager, no omelet station, no carvery station. Felt very rushed. Santa never left his chair, he should at least have mingled in the rooms with the children. No holiday music being played. Overall a very sad breakfast.

Brunch with Santa was a hit. Food was better than expected, plenty of pictures with Santa, great and quick service by the staff and a friendly atmosphere

Great course and in great condition.

Nice course but 6 and a half hours for a 2 man scramble.... tee time at 11 and almost not enough daylight when we finished at 5:30. Also the steak tasted like lighter fluid. Meatpolooza big disappointment

An absolutely gorgeous course. Very challenging while still fun for an amateur golfer.

I visited Cantigny for a club fitting. They were thorough and didn’t try to sell me anything that wouldn’t benefit me.

The course is in great shape but the cost is too high unless a fore caddie is included. The rangers are idiots. We were playing a 2 hour and 3 minute front nine as a foursome. Despite the fact that the group behind us never waited on the tee, the ranger nagged us on two different holes and threatened to force us to skip a hole. On the backside, we waited on the first 5 holes to hit our tee shot yet the ranger never contacted the groups in front of us. I think he was afraid he would have to give us a 5 hole discount. The Chicago area has too many premium courses worth playing. I'll save my money for elsewhere.

Very nice course. Totally worth the price. It is an experience you'll never forget.

Course was well maintained. Unfortunately a majority of the staff was curt. There were some that were very friendly and outgoing, but most were not. We felt as though we were a burden. Disappointing experience for such a premiere course.

The course itself is nice, it has a nice layout. Unfortunately, the slow play was quite bad and the starters did nothing to improve it except tell experienced golfers to play faster (as we were waiting on every hole). Also, you can pay a round that is half the price and condition is twice as good such as Thunderhawk.

Great golf course. They improved the quality of food at the restaurant hugely. Staffs are also great... nice folks, hard working and caring. It is now my most favorite course overall.

A private club experience for the public. Always outstanding service, and three meticulously maintained, beautiful nines. What I like most about it is you’re out there, no houses, just nature.

So let me start with the good, this is a very beautiful and challenging course. Lots of dog legs where driver is no good, OB/water on every hole. Fairways and 90% of tee boxes in great shape. Now the bad. $140 on a Saturday morning for 18 holes is absurd. There are just as nice or nicer courses nearby for $50 less. 2nd we finished 18 in 4 hours and 20 minutes. Not bad at all except for the fact that Marshall's on every other hole are telling you to speed up because they put a 3 some out before us. Rediculous because we never held up the group behind us. For the price they just needed to stay away. That Alone made it not worth it.

Not much to complain about this course except for the range. Everyone was so close to each other you could only warm up with irons...any woods clubs and you were dangerously close to hitting the person next to you.

Very nice golf club, beautiful courses. Great group of caddies and helpers when you arrive and although we didn't use the 19th it looked like a very nice spot.

Great course brought to its knees by slow play, no interest in moving things along and the slowest greens I played all year. Waited in every hole. Sand traps above average. Sometimes 3 groups on par three. Saw a ranger in 9th hole he said greens were cut that morning..doubtful.if you charge premium prices you need to have greens in excellent shape. No rush to return. Sad.

Had a great time at my cousins baby shower a few weeks ago. Great brunch, and of course the amazing views of the golf course. My family always has there events here.

Recently lost something very important while golfing, the Staff at Cantigny went above and beyond to get my valuables back to me. The outdoor staff and Pro shop staff are all class and actually care to help their guests!

Truly one of the most beautiful 72 whole courses I've seen in the Midwest. First class operation with fantastic fast greens and lots of challenging holes.

Had a wonderful time at Cantigny with my CVGA tournament over the weekend. I'd definitely come back for more golf at Cantigny!!! I even got an Eagle on the Hillside Par 4 #9 to cap off my weekend 😀

Great golf experience. We had a forecaddie who was very helpful. Course was in great shape, especially considering the weather lately.

Incredibly hard to believe that this is a public course. It is very well kept with a lot of unique and interesting challenges throughout the course. I wouldn't say it's the hardest place I've ever played, but it does present some challenges. I really enjoyed this course.

Cantigny is hands down one of my favorite places to play. Worth the $$$ every time! We played with caddies, and I got paired up with a 14-year-old who didn’t know much about golf, which was frustrating, but I knew he was learning, so I gave him a pass. Hopefully, the next caddie is more experienced

Went with my brother to play for the weekend. We had a good time. The layout is nice and has good scenery. It was quiet. Good season to go is in May and June.

After playing some of the most amazing courses, this course had the best staff bar none. Just a fantastic place and experience. Highly recommend it if in Chi town for golf - lightning fast greens and the course was in emaculate shape.

Attended an engagement party over the weekend. Food was delicious, the wait staff was courteous, and the room was beautiful.

This is a cool place for sure. The greens were absolutely beautiful and it's only April. They were as firm as a pool table though so you'll need to adjust for even wedge shots releasing 15ft. Only issue I see is that some of the greens here are so guarded with mounds and that mixed with the form greens, any short hitter has nearly zero chance of holding the green. If you have anything beyond an 8 iron on your approach shot, good luck!

Very elegant and nice place. Service and food was very good, but food could have been hotter.

Always a great experience and time at Cantigny. The course is challenging, but not impossible. The best parts of Cantigny are the views and the caddy program. Consider having a caddy to enhance your time on the golf course.

Went there for the holiday Breakfast/brunch and it was very nice the event staff were attentive and we pleased to be there. The food was very good as well. We really like the experience.

Just a beautiful place to play golf. Course Is meticulously kept in shape and very challenging. The junior golf area is also a fun place to take your kids to learn. The practice center is nice but a little expensive for the range You're looking at about $14 for a large bucket.

Beautiful golf course, very well kept. Restaurant has a good menu, good food. If you were in the Service look into getting an Honor card to enjoy discounts.

Golfed for a charity event here recently. Staff was fantastic, helpful and friendly. Course was in great shape. The grounds crew does a fantastic job. Difficult course too.

I had not been to Cantigny Golf for over 20 years, what a beautiful well run course that was fun to play.

Cantigny has been one of the highest rated public courses in the Chicagoland area for years. After my first visit, I can see why. It has 3 different nines to choose from. Although I only played 18, I have to assume the additional nine is of similar quality. As such, it's a truly enjoyable, high-quality golf experience. As a former member of the U.S. Infantry, I was surprised to find the military elements that are part and parcel of Cantigny. Apparently, even the name, Cantigny, is due to a military connection. The owner of the property was a Colonel in the First Infantry Division in WW1, and won a battle in Cantigny, France. So, I really appreciated the respect and the emphasis that the course places on honoring the military. Make sure you check out all of the historic pictures that are available for you to see in the clubhouse area. Thanks to Cantigny for an enjoyable round of golf. Keep up the good work.

One of my favorite courses to play. I love playing Lakeside and Hillside. Tough course but very fun. And the staff is extremely accommodating.

Great course, some times pace of play is alittle slow.
