EDIT: I added The Southern Hurricane to Google nearly two years ago because the small, family-owned food truck was so special to my friends and coworkers alike. Today, I have not yet found a more fresh and delicious mini Mexican restaurant on this side of the border. I guarantee you won't find a bigger diamond in the rough at South Dodge. Sadly, it's become tougher in this economy to justify $17 on a three taco plate and coke but well worth it when I can.

I would recommend this place! Food was delicious and generous in size..I split it with my husband and they even cut it in half and put on separate plates for us. The outside eating area is shaded and nicely landscaped and clean. The lady taking our order was very nice and helped us with our choice, since some words we did not know. Looking forward to going back during our winter escape to Tucson!!

Hands down the best burrito I've had in Tucson. (And believe me I love to eat burritos around Tucson) you can get so much delicious Mexican food for under $20.00. No one does it better! This is my go to spot when I'm craving a Carmelo or Carne Asada Burrito.

The Birria and Carnitas are great, I also had a good breakfast burrito. There is Outdoor seating. With a nicely shaded and well landscaped area for breakfast and lunch. They open at 8am.

Flavorful, well cooked carne.I love the AL Pastor, but the carnitas and tripas are super good too. Clean tables and shade with iced drinks.
