They should close this down Very unhealthy place, I see small roaches walking I never see roaches in Connecticut in here 21 years

Only have done take out. Grinders are really good!

I hate to write this review, but I just don't see how this place is 4.8/5 on Google. I ordered 2 grinders, a meatball and chicken parm. At around $13 each, it definitely wasn't cheap but I was hoping they would be full and with freshly made ingredients. The chicken parm, was like chicken tenders and cut up so oddly I have never seen anything like it. A chicken cutlet should be thin and crispy, this was soggy and thick. The meatballs, tasted like frozen ones and they were cut in half and didn't fill the sandwich. The bread was extremely odd, had no flavor, and you couldn't even pick it up without having your hands covered in grease. I had to use a knife and fork. I feel bad but I just can't support this place.

Staff was rude. She left me waiting while she spoke with a non-customer, who interrupted us, for several minutes. Then, she had the nerve to keep the coin portion of my change when she finally rang me up. Customers should come first. I have no intention of returning. You must have selective memory. The pizza was not prepared, it came straight from the fridge as I didn't want to wait any longer. Your looking up information for the person on your phone regarding where she could purchase fennel took longer than 30 seconds you initially claimed in your first, unedited response. I stand by what I said. Additionally, no coinage fell from your hand or you would have attempted to retrieve it. We did not come in together either. She came in after I did after I asked about the pizza choices.

Best pizza around Folks inside were very friendly and gave my daughter 2canolis Can’t wait to go back and meet nana and try a meal. Hidden Jem for sure.

The best fresh fully vegan pizza I’ve ever had. We got Greek pizza, vegan cheese and fried dough with rice pudding.👏 james

I've never written a review before but I felt compelled to leave one after my experience at Nana's. Yesterday was my first time there and it was awesome. Nana and the rest of the staff are incredibly friendly, helpful, and just great to talk to. My boyfriend and I ordered the Alfredo pasta with chicken and it filled us both up which is surprising considering my boyfriend eats a lot, but anyways it was delicious, filling, and well priced. We also ordered the tiramisu and fried dough and both were extremely good. We were the only ones dining in there and Nana even threw in some extra fried dough for me. One of the best experiences I've had at restaurant, will definitely be going there again.

I’ve gotten takeout from Nana’s a few times now and they are 100% every time! The food is so good and made/packaged with care. Staff is always friendly and sweet. What a good local food joint should be!!

Just tried this place and let me say I was very pleased I did. Owner was extremely pleasant and atmosphere was terrific. Food was exceptional and very filling.

I went there and I’m thinking the cannoli Would be bigger and I paid 8 dollars for two mini cannolis there bite size and I’m paying 8 dollars for this it’s a ripoff never getting cannolis there again so if your craving them go somewhere else to get them

I stopped here to bring food to one of my clients in the area, the lady serving me was so kind and warm. She made an AMAZING pizza and was very sweet and helped me feel more confident before my meeting. Great food, great service, great atmosphere.

Extremely great atmosphere and the staff is so down to earth. The made your own pizza for the kids is the best! We can't thank them enough for a great time and being so friendly with out son. Food was fantastic and so worth the price. Coming again for sure

Food I'd consistently delicious!

My favorite local pizza! I requested heart shaped pizzas for a Galentine's Day lunch I set up for my daughter's and they went above and beyond. Also their grinders are amazing, I ordered an Italian with banana peppers and it did not disappoint!!

Best Gluten free Pizza in all of New England! I am from Waterford, but live in Maine. I have not been able to find another gluten free pizza that even competes with Nana Bryeks! From NYC, Boston to Maine, hands down the best GF pizza that exists! Whenever I am back in CT, if I have the time, I will be ordering a pizza. Please don’t stop the amazing work, I as well as anyone else with a similar restrictive diet greatly appreciate the care put into the Pizza!!! So good, must get.

The best place! Not only is the pizza and byrek delicious but the service is top tier. Val and her staff are so personable and friendly. Val is so interactive with the kids and they just adore her! My girls love making pizzas with her. It’s a local favorite for our family now!

Usually going out to eat feels routine,almost like a chore but the experience here was amazing! The kids loved making there own pizza and the time the owner took to help with making the pizza and talking to us was very much appreciated. We wish going out to eat, always felt genuine like our experience here.

The Alfredo pasta is the best best I've ever tried 😃

The only thing that was edible was the Alfredo with chicken. Chicken parm grinder and chicken parm was chewy and gross. How the chef let any of it leave the kitchen is ridiculous. If you want chicken parm go somewhere else. Old bread that lacked any flavor.
