Food was great. Server was nice and good. Did forget our appetizer but apologized and brought it out with our meal. Very friendly. Hey had a gluten free menu with details on things like what has utilization of common fryers. Their gluten free chips are not used in a common fryer. Had no reactions. And will return next time we are in town.

The new toasted tostada was excellent

waitress took delight in telling me they wouldn’t allow me to get order to go because they are much too busy to deal with which my order to go would have been 37.00 i guess because she wasn’t. gonna get a cut

The food is tasty, third best nacho in Town, tinner and Chevy's are better. Though when you get away from the nachos the food is tasty, the margaritas are with real fruit and delicious. Most everything is the same ingredients throughout the menu, but still tastes good

OH MY GOD 😲😲😲😲😲 WOWZERS!!!!!! THIS is my new favorite Mexican restaurant in the state!!! We came here for my husband's birthday at the spur of the moment and what an incredible experience!! The food, the service, how clean it was in the restaurant!! I wish I could post a picture, but it's already in my stomach!!! Maybe I'll post a picture later 😉😉

My wife and I wanted Mexican and We both had eaten here often in the distant past and couldn't think of why we stopped. And during our meal it became apparent. Now there was nothing wrong with the meal, food was fine, service excellent, but it's about as authentic as oil garden is Italian. They have chicken fingers and a BBQ sandwich on the menu. This is the kind of place you go to when not everyone in your group likes Mexican. And nothing will be too spicy or strange. My chili releno was fairly bland. Not bad, but not a spicy homerun. My wife's chicken chimi was fine too. Just not as good as the best in town. Service was excellent, and it was pretty busy to. So plenty of people like it.

Service was amazing. We went in with a party of 17 and they took suck good care of us. There were alot of employees that helped our table out. Thank you for EVERYTHING. The food was also a hit we have already been back twice since we tried it. Very good all 3 times I've been in. Definitely give this restaurant a try. Get the stuffed sopapia!! Amazing and thank you all.

This is not a Mexican Restaurant. Nothing to say other than that. The food is not good. If you don’t like Mexican food but someone is nagging you about it take them here because you will enjoy it as it is white food wrapped in tortillas. The star is there because I have to leave one to leave a review. Quite literally about to head to Taco Bell because I want some Mexican food more authentic than this 😂

They have the seafood enchiladas

The food just isn't all that flavorful. Had to add salt and pepper to the guacamole to make it taste like anything. It's an ok spot but there's better in town. The food could use a bit more flavor and it just seemed like the beans were really dry. The server was great and the place is nice and clean.

We thought we would give it a try while in the city. Food is average but they have nice sized servings. The Chips & Salsa was on point. The staff on hand was very good.

This is not a place that you go for your standard Mexican taco, burrito, or enchilada. Those options are rather bland at Casa del Rey. However, if you give some of their featured options like the Roast Pork Enchilada Torte or Casa Burger a try, you'll find great flavor.

So we were recommended from a local person to stop by for lunch at this place. From the moment we walked in, the Mexican regional music matched the atmosphere and seemed to be authentic but when we sat down and read the menu and looking at the food served to patrons I knew it was entrapment because this place does not serve authentic Mexican food. Although our server was great the food was not. I ordered a Chile Relleno lunch and instead I got an oil filled egg roll. As I cut it, oil leaked out, yes oil. So I ate the rice and (canned) black beans with a dehydrated salad. I tried to console myself with the chips and Ragú hot sauce (if you want to call that hot because it wasn’t hot at all). First and last, lesson learned.

Bit over priced but very good food!

Terrible service and staff was disrespectful she threw the menus on the table while rolling her eyes. We asked for a table for 8 and they gave us a table for 6 and told us that two people can sit at a different table. We told them not all of us were eating and she rolled her eyes and stormed away. We got up and walked out due to this staff member.

Love the food here. Haven't had a bad meal yet. Try the Brooks burrito it's awesome.

The frozen margarita tastes like margarita mix. The one on the rocks is not much better. I don’t see the MexiCans! Karen and Becky are serving. Abuela did not make the salsa. It probably came from New York City.

I don't know why they're roasting Caroline, she helped us and was attentive, friendly, and had great interpersonal skills. Food was okay. Great serving sizes. Honestly, we'll likely come back for the bar and dessert!

The food is okay. The service on the other hand… Caroline, our waitress was absolutely downright disrespectful to us, and the unnecessary comments about us leaving and not coming back?! All because we were making small talk to another waiter. But to the rest of that staff, you all are great. Especially Kat and Jackson. We appreciate your great service and care for the customers.!!! 😀

Been coming here for over 30 years. Everything is great and always has been. Only reason I gave it 4 star in the food category is because they got rid of the shredded beef chimichanga.

Didn’t receive my full order upon pick up at restaurant. Refuse to refund money for missing food.Will not be giving this restaurant my business anymore. Terrible customer service & claims no manager on duty!

Worst tex mex in town. Place has been there for many years and isn't any better or worse. Chef microwave use to cook the food there. Now it's a little better but still not worth stopping for. There's dozens of better tex mex places to eat at in and around the Sioux Falls area try one of those.

NOT a Mexican restaurant!!! Salsa tastes like pizza sauce and didn't offer another option (hotter salsa) Would not deviate from the menu to accommodate. What Mexican restaurant doesn't sell an avocado sliced on the side or have fresh jalapenos??? It's a shame, this is not Mexican food!!!

The waitress was very annoying, always interrupted my talks with my friend, no matter what. When I asked her don't do it looked very aggressive and finally send us to pay up front.

Mexican-American fussion food. No good to my taste. Honestly I've never tried a mexican enchiladas with "black olives and cumin"...weird combination!!! Seems a nice place to get party with good ambience!!!!

Server barely acknowledged us, salsa is clearly pace from a can, queso was bland and if i were Garth Brooks I'd sue over that burrito named after him. Filling was seasonless mystery meat. Heard such great things about here and was highly disappointed.

The wife and I get take out here often. It's our go-to Mexican food fix! Love the food, and really appreciate the portion size for the price. Honestly, we usually turn our enchiladas and boritos into 2-3 meals. The only downside is that they haven't been doing carry out on weekends for a while due to demand and cook shortages.

The food was disgusting! The salsa was tomato heavy and tasted like burnt tomato paste. The chicken chimichanga was filled with burnt sweet onions, it was terrible. The rice tasted like the seasoning was over done and not mixed it, it was also dry! Do not recommend and would not return!

We love Mexican food and for us this was bottom of list of all we've had since back in area the past 2 years. 40 years in CO, a year in El Paso, spouse grew up in SAn Joaquin Valley so we have years of great Mexican even in AZ, NM, TX. We know there r huge variations just like w many American dishes. This just wasnt good...to us anyway. Its been there a long time so must meet palate for some S. Dakotans.

We waited about 10 minutes. A young lady with no hair restraint told us it would be 15 minutes because they were so busy and not enough help. It was a very cold atmosphere! Employees were not happy!! Ordered a taco salad make with iceberg salad mix not shredded lettuce tomatoes were not diced and it had no Mexican flavor. Probably will not go back. Very disappointed!

The service was absolutely terrible on 5/5. The server barely acknowledged us, never got us refills, and took 30 mins to get us our check. It was busy but she had multiple opportunities to get us our check. The bus boy acted like he didn't even want to be there so when we asked for a refill on chips, he rolled his eyes at me multiple times. Love the food but they need better servers.

We've always liked Casa Del Rey. I've been coming here since I was a kid. Service is pretty good and we like the food. The prices seem quite a bit higher lately and haven't been back for a while because of it.

The food was absolutely awesome! It was out at the table in no time at all. The chips and salsa were great! The salsa was blended to perfection! Can't wait to go back!

This place has THE BEST RANCH DRESSING IVE EVER HAD! I always order the Chicken Salad Selecta with Ranch & hands down its the best chicken salad I've had since the Rib Shack was around!

I have not been here in probably 10 years and I have been missing out! Our waitress was fantastic. The food was fantastic and the place was so clean. We will definitely be back!
