My son and I wanted pizza one afternoon, and found this place. We are so happy we found it! The food is delicious, our waitress Claudia was super nice and greeted us immediately, and the restaurant itself is clean and inviting. My son is already excited to come back again! I had no idea this was here for so long! Highly recommend!

Good service, reasonably priced food.

My friends and I eat here all the time! Everything I’ve tried has been delicious. Very flavorful, they offer plenty of food for the cost and are very friendly. It’s an intimate dine in experience, music playing, very comfortable. I feel like they don’t get enough diners to dine in which is surprising to me so I hope they get more foot traffic to dine in and have a glass of wine or beer with their food of choice.

Found this little place and the reviews were spot on. The alfredo sauce is really good and the calzone were stuffed full with a nice thing crust. Great value too.

A total waste of money......This was the second order that was horrible from the restaurant and the veal parm sub was burned and awful.....the other was cheese steak sub and you needed a magifying glass to find the steak on the cheese steak sub . Our previous order was missing our pizza from the door dash guy but the restaurant sent the pizza that was sitting there so it was cold... THEY USED TO HAVE GREAT FOOD..... and they are about 1/2 mile from us, we live off TELEGRAPH RD. We are done.......

My wife and I started eating here years when we had an office next door. The ownership has changed hands a few times. Everyone has always been nice but the current owner and staff are the very best. They are like visiting family. By the way, the food is GREAT! We have had virtually everything on the menu and have loved every dish. The only problem we have had is deciding which dish to have. It has been 10 months since my first review and everything remains 5 stars.

We order a child meal with Ravioli . You get two Ravioli and a splash of spaghetti sauce for $7.99. We order Seafood Della Noona. I got three shrimp with spaghetti sauce over noodles. There was mussels or clams. That is false advertising. This for $21.99. Not good food and ridiculous price.

Ordered pizza and wings from here for my daughter's birthday party, and the representative on the other side of the phone was very patient and warm. The kids did enjoy the pizza and wings. The order was on time, too.

Our favorite place for lunch. The food is always very tasty and the staff is friendly and professional. The atmosphere is very pleasant and cozy. We ordered different dishes and each of them was absolutely amazing!

Very nice place. Their vodka penne is legit with the onions and ham! Really good. Their chicken noodle soup looks a bit orange from the carrots but still tastes fresh, unlike Campbells in a can! Service was very nice and informative. Not very busy on a weekday during lunchtime but I’m sure it’s busy at night!

Service is SLOW!!!! 5 staff, 2 working. Friendly, but so slow. Thinking I could make it myself and enjoy it more after waiting 20+ minutes for a basic cheese pizza.

I have eaten here many times. Thier pizza, pasta, and garlic bread are my favorites. The food is delicious and tastes authentic. I want to give 5 stars but the last few times I've ordered online for pickup the order took an additional 10-20 minutes to be ready; with over an hours notice.

This place is on a pretty inconvenient road and it's not actually possible to see it from the road, it's completely obstructed by the house that has an advertisement on it There was nobody here except for me on a Saturday night, and even still they had to ask my order twice. The pizza was pretty mediocre. Very dry. I had trouble finishing it. I brought home quite a bit of leftovers that I did not finish, I think I ordered probably the worst thing on the menu. The meat lovers was far better. I feel bad giving such a poor review on the food but I'm just going to be honest about the food that I personally had. The pasta dishes or other Italian foods are probably much better than the pizza. The service here, the people are very nice. But I wouldn't come again.

Well, when we entered there weren't many people but we soon realized that it was because it had just opened. I honestly liked that there weren't many people because it was quieter, felt private, and since there were few people, we were attended quickly. Service was also amazing, they were very attentive, would ask if we needed anything and were very polite. It is also bilingual, as in, english and spanish. The environment was a very comfortable and homey environment with the checkered cloths, beautiful decorations and paintings. Though, we only tried 3 dishes, they were very delicious. I especially loved the fries because the were just made, so warm and crunchy and soft on the inside. Absolutely delicious 10/10. The pizza looked and tasted amazing, though the cheese was chewy and kind of hard to chew, it was still amazing, and the crust was the same as the fries, crunchy on the outside but soft on the inside. The garlic bread was also warm, crunchy on the outside, and soft on the inside. The mushrooms tasted fresh and not just from out of a can. The chicken tasted great and so did the pasta. I personally plan on coming back to try the other and new dishes that this wonderful restaurant offers. It is an amazing local restaurant that you should definitely visit.

My family and I were visiting Baltimore from Houston, Texas and searched for a good Italian place in the area. We saw this spot and gave it a shot. If I lived here in Baltimore I would definitely revisit this place again soon! We ordered so much food from the menu and every single thing tasted amazing!!! The staff were also super accommodating for such a large party. Highly recommend giving it a shot.

Excellent food, but we will probably opt for to-go orders in the future. We tried Casa Della Nonna for the first time and were pleasantly surprised with how good the food was. Wife was very happy with her gnocci gorgonzola and I had the Nonna's pizza. Both were very flavorful and the nice portion sizes meant we both had leftovers to bring home. I found the service there to be friendly and helpful. Though, as some other reviewers have mentioned, the food is not made quickly. Even without it being busy, there's was a significantly longer wait than expected to get our food. To compare, we could order from our usual pizza delivery place (V__ in Crofton) and have the food both made and delivered to the house in less time than the wait we had dining in. The food was so good we were happy we tried it, but we will likely phone in an order for pick up next time to avoid the wait.

The night we were there, not enough staff. Took an extremely long time to get served. Lots of confusion. Food good, but definitely not worth being there as long as we were- 2 1/2 hours with young children.

This was our first experience with Casa Della Nonna. We ordered a large pizza for pickup. This is the best pizza we have eaten in a long time, really good! We are very pleased! We will definitely be trying their other items as well in the near future. 😊

We just hosted my sister's 60th birthday and everything was wonderful. Alex and his team were very accomodating. The staff was the best! The food was great! The baked ziti and chicken alfredo dishes were cooked to perfection but honestly, I could have filled up on the delicious salad. The party room provided plenty of room for our 35 guests and there was plenty of parking. I highly recommend this restaurant for daily dining or your next event! Thank you Casa Della Nonna for helping us celebrate this milestone in a special way.

A great find! We drove from Howard County based on the reviews. The restaurant is modest, but clean and well decorated. The menu has traditional Italian dishes, all of which are superior to what you find at other bistros in Central Maryland. We will definitely be back soon!

Very delicious food, the pizza has unique and tasteful sauce on it. I specifically enjoy their flavorful chicken Cesar salad and the Italian sub! Would highly recommend!

Services are top notch on a regular day compared with a lot of other similar establishments around.

Food is great, no issues there. My main feedback has to do with delivery services which I use frequently. This restaurant uses a niche delivery service by the name of Slice. It's very accurate to the menu, but has some issues as the delivery fees will be spiked up compared to main brand delivery services. I typically use DoorDash followed by Uber Eats. The largest issue I had is noting silverware needed or using the button for utensils and it inevitably gets missed anyway, easy fix. The other is menu accuracy concerns and information/imagery lacking. Example: Chicken Parmigiana has been confused with the sub sandwhich menu item of the same item and ended up getting that on multiple occasions. Final bit of feedback is nutritional information, I couldn't find anything on the website or any app about dietary or nutritional data for menu items. Other than these concerns, I very much enjoy the food and service here.

We stopped here for a late lunch and we were amazed at how good this little hole in the wall is. Fernando greeted us at the door and took our order. We had salads, a veggie calzone and the pasta arribiata and it was scrumptious. Our server, Tiffany, did an excellent job and we left full and with plenty of leftovers. I have passed this place hundreds of times and had I known how good it was I would have stopped Sooner. Definitely will be back!!!

I had a nice time here with the missus, later in the night, welcomed us in to a table didn't make us feel rushed even though they were closing within the hour. The portions were sizable, the pasta and sauce was really good.

My kids loved the Mozzarella fritti, the tenders, and the ravioli. I got the chicken Parmigiana with Spaghetti. The portions are huge, so my niece and I shared it.

Local mom and pops store actually ran by a full family, cozy, friendly, and reasonably priced.

You MUST have their Ravioli with rose sauce. It is beyond delicious. The atmosphere is comfortable and friendly -- you'll feel right at home. It is a hidden gem. A special treat disguised in in "every day clothing". Can't wait to go back.

This was a drive-by drop in, glad I did. Their chicken caccatore is killer! I asked how the crab soup was and he offered a sample. It was a cup size bowl! Very good. I'll have to find a reason to go back

We've eaten here a few times and really enjoy it. I live out of state so I only get to eat here when visiting my son's. We love supporting local businesses. The garlic bread is amazing! And the meatballs on the spaghetti were huge. I loved my lasagna!

It was quiet here when we went. The food was pretty amazing tho, I got the baked ziti it came with garlic bread and tasted so good. The food really lives up to the name of this restaurant , Grandma's House. Nice home cooked meal I'd recommend a visit !

Always loved this place but today I got the Monday night pizza special and it was horrible. Both my daughter and I thought it was so overpowered by garlic it was not edible. Huge pizza and $17 gone to waste literally . I’m curious if someone made an accident when making the sauce?

If there was a rating just for unassuming roadside Italian joints, this would be a 5 star. Some covid, they've had some service growing pains but the food is always a fantastic bang for the buck, in traditional Italian homestyle fashion. It's my local go-to in Northern AA County.

I come here often with family and friends and we are never disappointed. I love the atmosphere, food and customer service. Love the lasagna, eggplant parmigiana, tortellini Rosario, and much more. Always a Great time!

used to be good, I think it was run by actual Italians, least it sounded like they were speaking Italian, seems it switched hands and now run by Latinos and playing into idpol nonsense. Most importantly and unfortunately the food seems to be worsening, orders turning out wrong, classic dishes being skimped on the sauce and meats. Guess we got the tail end of the good part but we won't be going back.

Honestly I'm only rating off the cheese steak sub I got because this is the only time I've ever been here. It was me and 2 friends and the whole time we were there only one other person came in at lunch on a workday. The sub was good and the fries were good but in my opinion was just too small. As for my friends they got a steak sub, he thought it was small also. And my other friend got the calzone it was big and from what I saw 85 percent bread 1 percent meat and 14 percent cheese and sauce. I feel as though I could've done much better with my money and by the looks of the empty seats so does the community.

Haven’t been here in several years and will not be going back. Zero service… no bar drinks at all… Veal Chesapeake was tasteless… nothing Italian about the place anymore. Bathroom was gross. I’m not sure how it’s still open.

Ordered the Chicken Parmingiana. The sauce snd noodles were pretty good. However the chicken was very thin. So it was about 70% bread and the chicken was tough and over cooked. Service was fair. Had to ask for refills.

Not sure when they went downhill but they used to be real good. Was always our fallback place. Now the service is bad food is mediocre, just not worth my time to come here at all! So sad to see this happen to a once fantastic place to get pizza and other Italian food

This place has really gone down hill. Maybe they have new owners? Used to be one of our regular spots but the food quality has gone down, and forget one of our items almost anytime that we order to go. Very unlikely we will be returning.

They have dine in, they have you order at the counter and you get your own drinks they then give you a number you put on your table. They will bring the food to you when it's ready. The food is always very good there and employees are friendly.

I decided to go again with my son recently for a post-pandemic dine-in, and it was even better. It is your traditional family-owned friendly Italian/pizza place, perfect for a fun date night or family time. We wanted to go out for Mother's Day. We hadn't gone to any restaurants during the pandemic, of course, but I remembered how much I'd enjoyed this one when I went once in 2019. I was not disappointed when we returned The! The service was so friendly! Everyone was polite and gracious. And the food ..... oh my gosh! The food!! DELISH!! Casa Della Nonna is my new local favorite!! I will go there every chance I get!

This little shop has a killer chef. The pasta and soup I ordered was rich with flavor. It brought memories of my time living in the North End (Boston). I will be back.

The flavor was good but the calamari wasn't fresh and the scallops were way overcooked and very tough. The dinner portions were large and good for the price but then the dessert was small for its price. Overall good and I'll probably give it a second chance but I was expecting better based on its reviews.
