Brought our own cake, charged us $2.50 for every narrow slice of our own cake served. $50 "cake serving" fee. Food was mild at best, Pollo Tapatio tasted horrible, iced tea tasted like pool water, and Enchiladas de Mole was too sweet, not to mention menu prices were not accurate. Overall overwhelmingly negative experience. Only saving grace was the mariachi performance which was phenomenal.

MELTED CHEESE = BAD TASTE AND BAD SMELL OF THE CHORIZO. WE DIDN'T EAT IT. MICHELADAS= THEY DO NOT USE THE ORIGINAL CLAMATO. I DRINK THE BEER ALONE. NON-ALCOHOL DRINKS (SODAS, ETC.) = THEY ARE NOT ON THE MENU. MEALS= THEY NEED BETTER AVAILABILITY. GOOD MARIACHI= THEY ONLY PLAYED FOR 45 MINUTES. GOOD ATTENTION. 3.5 STARS

Unfortunately, this restaurant was a huge disappointment. The atmosphere could have been really cool, as there were live performances. However, the band seemed pretty unprofessional, as well as the rest of the service. The restaurant was awkwardly dead, and the waiter was eerily pushy towards buying drinks and food. An arrogant vibe was received from one of the employees, although one waiter was very kind, and the rest were okay. The food itself was a huge let down, considering the $35 I paid for my fajitas. The tortillas were cheap tasting, and the meat itself had a red pepper-like flavor. Not something you’d expect fajitas to taste like. Overall, a very unpleasant experience. Will not be coming back, and do not recommend to anybody considering.

Filet Mignon was delicious. Someone else in our party ordered Filete de pescado al ajo, but had way too much garlic. The mariachi played for only 45 minutes :( they should play for at least two hours to make it worth. Plus they don’t have a kids meal menu.

The service is great they refill the chips and salsa without even asking frankly top tier will return.

The food is very expensive and not delicious.

Terrible food and wonderful music! A fun place for a birthday or celebration but food was incredibly overpriced for the quality.

Service was top level & mariachi show did not disappoint. Glad we did early show with early sitting as this allowed for conversation before the show!

Our party of 6 was greeted with courtesy, and we were seated at our reserved time. The atmosphere was energetic and was more so when the mariachi came on stage. Steak fajitas and mole poblano were authentic and flavorful and excellent. Mole burrito, chicken tacos, and enchiladas were very good. The mariachi entertainment was top-notch. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone, especially if you love Mexican cuisine and mariachi music!

This place is amazing. The service is impeccable. Everyone is fantastic. Roberto, the GM, is incredibly gracious. His crew is always on point. The music is enchanting. The food and drinks are delectable to the extreme. The Mezcal margarita is smokey and incredible. The spicy mango margarita is exactly that. The tuna tostada is absolutely ridiculous. The ceviche is awesome. The guacamole is perfect. The flan and tres leches are 🤌. This place is worth every penny.

The Live Mariachi were excellent, food was original . & service was on time !

One of the best places to visit in Southern California. The food is mouth watering delicious, the service is A1, the drinks are amazing, and the live music is Euphoric. It's a must visit if you are ever in Culver City. Bring family and friends and have a memorable experience.

Had a great time there! However, appetizers for large events should not include any type of seafood. Seafood should always be served separately from the regular food. Many people have allergies to seafood and are not able to enjoy the rest of the food on the plate because it has come in contact with the seafood that had been placed on the plate.

Mariachi show was great! We have very nice waiters and the service was good! Unfortunately, the main dishes were not very delicious. I think ordering appetizers is the way to go here. We ordered ceviche, queso fundido and salad as an appetizers and they were pretty delicious.

First time I have attended this place, I found it very pleasant from the moment you enter, there are paintings and the decoration makes you feel like you are there and remember your roots, I recommend it and the food goes without saying, Very Delicious and very Varied 👌

We came here for my mom’s birthday because they have mariachis. Overall it was a good experience the mariachis can really sing. The food was good, service was fast. The only bad thing is you have a 2 hour limit

The hunny and I decided to take an evening walk around the neighborhood before making dinner. We passed by Casa Sanchez and decided to stop in just to look at the menu and location since we've driven by so often and had never been inside. They had just opened for evening service and while we initially had no intention of dining out, we ended up staying because of the wonderful manager Roberto. He greeted us exceedingly warmly, insisted on giving us a tour, and shared his thoughts on his favorite parts of the menu. The hospitality was so lovely that we stayed for happy hour and enjoyed delicious drinks, dinner, and dessert. Service was impeccable; one of the best experiences we've have in LA. We will definitely be making this a habit!

We came to Casa Sanchez to celebrate our anniversary and see a mariachi show. This was our first time here, but we will definitely come again. The food and cocktails were very good, and the mariachi show was really entertaining. But the standout for our evening was the service. I have never experienced more attentive, helpful and friendly service than we received at Casa Sanchez. Loved the chips and salsa that they just kept refilling. They even gave us a special anniversary flan and mariachi solo. This was an overall great experience!

Muy perfecto! The live band captured my whole heart, they had a base guitar, a violinist, a saxophonist, and another guitarist . It’s the ideal package. Now to the Salas sauce, best I’ve ever had, and the best part is that it’s free and you even get refills (or maybe they were nice to me) You can also get the best margaritas here.My server Rogelio was amazing .

Music was okay. Not worth the price. You are not treated as a guest. Rushed and could not have a conversation with my party because of the constant need to sell drinks and rush you through dinner. I swear they would take your plate if they could mid bite. Only one friendly face who had to be. The waitstaff overbearing and just want to get you in and out. Not reflective of true Mexican culture. Valet was a joke. took car to move 10 feet and them we had to get it. So they are charging you a mandatory valet to keep your keys. Food was wayyyyyy overpriced and drinks watered down. No flavor . Just an assembly line and tourist trap.

We had a great time listening to the Mariachi, food was amazing however our server was not attentive at all we kept having to wave him down and he left out table unattended for a pretty long time. Maybe because our little table was only 8 where other tables were much larger. Either way we were still consumers at the end of the night. Not sure if Casa Sanchez will be our first option next time.

We went for a friend's birthday celebration. Although there were large parties there we tried to be patient. Some of the wait staff was discourteous and rude. Our glassware was slammed on the table in frustration. The manager was unaccommodating and she did not address our concerns. The food was dry and distasteful. It was an all around bad experience. For the price of the food save yourself time and anguish and visit Javier's!!!

Average food and Average service with expensive menu. Drinks menu has lot of tequila but very few margaritas that you would expect from Mexican restaurant. Our waiter asked what is the occasion to visit restaurant and I said anniversary. Later we saw that other couples were greeted with small cake and songs on their names expect us. I didn't expect much but felt left out. Won't go back.

Ya había estado tres ocasiones en este restaurante, está fue mi cuarta vez y a sido la mejor. La comida a mejorado vastante como unas fajitas mixtas de pollo y camarón. Las bebidas excelentes un mojito y una margarita de mango. El mariachi no se diga muy bueno mejor, es un mariachi joven nuevos talentos. Los meseros, busboys se. Roberto muy amable y bromista. El café muy delicioso. Espero volver pronto.

I went to casa Sanchez and had an amazing experience! There food was great and got to the table quick. The show made the experiences 10 times better. So if you come here to eat make sure you stop by for that. Everyone working there had a smile on there face and was ready to help with anything I needed. I will defiantly comeback very soon !

The steaks were a little extra cook. The guacamole size is too small. Then all the rest is great, I like the attention from our server, and the manager was asking at every single table, to make sure everything is good. We celebrate my mom's bday and the mariachi music was the BEST. Totally I recomend for a special celebration. For sure I will be back.

We were seated right away, however we did sit in our table for a bit before they offered us water or something to drink. The customer service definitely lacked this time around. We weren’t even offered refills on our beverages. The food was ok.

I never leave reviews, but I had to for this place. It was absolutely amazing. Food was amazing, atmosphere 10/10, and the customer service was out of this world. Will definitely be coming back here and recommending it to everyone I know!!

Buen lugar para celebrar ocasiones especiales. Nos tocó ver mariachi. Comimos chiles en nogada y queso fundido. Comida muy buena aunque el arroz puede mejorar. Los platillos son grandes. Los cócteles buenos.

Whether it’s a birthday party, a reunion or family dinner, the quality of the food, the elegant ambiance, the warm greeting from every staff member; it is top notch! This is the only authentic Mexican restaurant in the westside that offers what Mexican food and entertainment is! I’ve attended the yearly “El Grito”(Mexican independence Eve celebration_9.15) and enjoy the tradition that no other restaurant offers at all! It’s a must for everyone! Casa Sanchez is my go to restaurant! I love their filet mignon and mole enchiladas!!! They are definitely the best genuine Mexican restaurant in Los Ángeles/Westside!!

I really wanted to like this place. Food is nowhere near authentic. I ordered chicken taquitos, chicken enchiladas. Super bland. To top it off, one of our party guest Informed the waiter that the enchilada de mole was not to his liking and asked for a different thing. The waiter made him scoop the mole out of his plate. Idk why he just didn’t replace the item. Very tacky

Customer service has definitely changed through the years and quantity for price paid for a meal doesn’t meet expectations. You’re paying for the mariachi experience.

Not as expected, YouTube videos of place show like quality dishes and dun atmosphere but to my experience food was not as expected seemed average with food on the dry side not showing fresh and look at me dishes. Multiple parties attending at the same time hardly any room to move around on your table you feel like a sardin packed In and mariachi only plays about 1 hour from 6:3ish to 7:2ish pm .food was from 530 to 620pm. For a 3k bill 40ish persons I thought we would have a more personal experience. 3 out of 5 stars for me.

No kids menu, everything is over priced. Food had no flavor. Too dark inside. Mariachi was only good thing about this place

Fajitas was not editable (meat) I’m sorry I didn’t return it. I was asked how I wanted it, I said medium rare it came with a leather like over cooked consistency. The vegetables were tasteless. This was not the Casa Sanchez I once knew.

Thanks to the great folks at Casa Sanchez for helping my family and I celebrate my mom’s 72nd birthday. The food was great, especially the Chuleton de Puerco. The Cochinita Pibil was a bit too tart, as if there may have been too much vinegar in the dish (but that is about the only downside). The mariachi played great songs and made my mom feel special on her special day.

Food and service were both exceptional. The music was great. I believe I found a gem here with Mariachi playing there 6 days a week. Not ideal for a first date since the music can get loud. Overall, a great experience.

Great Mexican restaurant with live mariachi. Was a little disappointed to hear that the folklore dancers were no longer performing. The food was ok but not amazing.

Fabulous time, have come back many times and would come back again. The ambience, the food and overall experience is amazing.

I love this place! The food and service are fantastic, and the Mariachi band is so much fun. I've been here multiple times and will definitely be back for more. Cadillac margaritas, guacamole, and fish tacos are my go-tos. The salmon was delicious, and the rib-eye was also amazing.
