It's a great place to get Mediterranean food end spend time friends there

Always a great experience, excellent service by Solyn and Masjid, superb tasty food, the rib special was super tender and awesome Mediterranean rub. Love it every time, can't wait for next time.

I wasn't sure what to expect of this former Denny's by the highway off ramp, and its limited menu. Some reviews are mixed. But I'm so glad we came here. One of the best meals I've have in the Springs in the nearly 3 years I've lived nearby. Portions were huge. I was the only one in my party who finished my entree, and only just barely. My mom got the Persian chicken, and it was cooked perfectly. Great flavor. I had the lamb tangine, and it was fantastic. Very balanced and delicious in every bite. The gyros were a bit ordinary, but that is the norm around here, and can be forgiven. Excellent service. Caitlyn was a fantastic waitress. I don't understand why some reviews complain about the decor. It's an old Denny's that they magically turned into a restaurant that looks like it's been here for 50 years. Not everything has to be flashy and modern, Colorado Springs. I will return here again for sure. Wish there were more places like this nearby.

This gem of a place was amazing. There good was delicious and came with abundance to share. Our server,Corlan, was helpful and attentive. I highly suggest that you stop in and try their food!

Very nice restaurant and well chosen menu items. Food was prepared very good. But the restaurant seems pretty dated. Seems like it’s 20 years overdue for a if you don’t really care how it looks then it’s a good place to go

Another one of those fancy restaurants who use random fancy words to describe their food just to make it seem good, I got kebob for 30$ and only got 2 and both were the size of my finger and they were burned, I only finished them because it was expensive. Definitely 0/10 never coming again

I brought a group here from work. Service is great, food is delicious and my co-workers were all very happy. I already love this restaurant and I was happy to share with my colleagues. Definitely recommend!!

As usual the food was great and the service excellent. This is one of our new favorites.

Food tasted just ok but one dish was bland and almost nothing colorful on the plate…white rice, white pita, white chicken kabobs, white yogurt, and the pita was cut into little pieces so we couldn’t really eat it wrapped around the chicken. Service was slow and no refills of drinks until we were ready to leave. The server was nice enough but they were not that busy and service fell short.

The AC was out and it was very warm. I think they should have called us ahead of time to let us know (we had reservations). They said AC was working but could not keep up but honestly, there was no cool air circulating at all. We were miserable by the time we finished our meal. The food, btw, was excellent.

The prime rib sandwich was absolutely wonderful!

It was our first visit, hard to believe a former Denny's could be this good. Our server John recommended the prime rib with the Mediterranean salad, truly a tasty treat and a great presentation. My wife a good cook in her own right ordered the Persian chicken and she is known to send her meal back because it's cold, not season right, etc but she was delighted with the seasoning and whole tasty experience. John was a delightful waiter full of knowledge of the menu along with insight into many other topics. We will be returning customers and will spread the word about this hidden gem.

Had lunch at Caspian Cafe. Our server was so pleasant and professional; helped us decide what to order. We had the chicken with walnut sauce and it was delicious. One of my favorite places to go for a girlfriend lunch or a night out with my husband.

A little dated on interiors, would have been nice to have dinner service outside on a beautiful temperate evening, ordered the Persian chicken as my husband ordered the Lamb Tagine with artichoke, hearty portions, good cocktails, informative staff, could use a update on interior and exterior, wish the menu was a little more informative, also what is vegan or substitutions for food allergies. Overall very satisfied, food was delicious and more than satisfying, chicken was delicious, moist and flavorful, rice was perfection, veggies were also very delicious. Happy with stopping here, even though I was hesitant at first. Worth the delicious meal. 2 entrees, 2 cocktails, an appetizer and desert cost ~$110 before tip.

Unexpectedly delicious! At 5 pm we were the only ones in the parking lot. It did fill up by the time we left but they have plenty of tables and you do not need reservations. Great service. The food was even better. I had the kabob platter - combination. It was delicious. My wife had the Salmon. Again it was very good. Our friend had the pasta special with shrimp on top. He loved it also. If you are looking for a quiet spot, great place to meet friends for a long conversation over a meal that will not disappoint, then Caspian Cafe is the place to go!

Can't go wrong, this place is excellent, everything is great, food, atmosphere and staff.

The food was terrific as always! The salad with oranges, almonds and avocados with falafels on top is my favorite. And the Appeltinis were delicious! Great service and quiet even on a Saturday night.All these are reasons why we keep coming back.

A truly 5 star Bar that I would rank higher than majority of 4.5-star restaurants. The food was perfect. Tried their Kabob and Chicken Sandwich With Barbari wrap. Everything was perfect; they can improve the chicken sandwich if they fry the eggplant a little bit more. However still a 5-star Bar imo.

Our meal began with creamy tomato bisque and fresh baked bread with olive oil. For the meal, I had the Citrus Salmon and my husband ordered Moroccan Chicken. The food was so flavorful, delicious! Solin was our server, and she was attentive and friendly. This was a meal to be remembered. I highly recommend!

It took awhile to get service, and my drink came out after our app and dinner. Granted it was Father’s Day, they were busy, and only 2 servers. Salmon was pretty sub par. The hummus was pretty good but veggies were huge and hard to eat with it. Like a whole carrot instead of pieces of carrot. My martini had a ton of ice chunks floating in it when it was not on the rocks so it tasted super watered down. The ambience was nice and servers were nice, just too busy and the food was a disappointment. However we must have ordered the wrong dish as there were a lot of people there.

Our first visit to Caspian Cafe and we will be back again. Warm, friendly service. Food was plentiful and flavorful. Excellent value.

Our waitress Erin was wonderful. We didn't realize that we were there almost an hour after they closed. She did not rush us at all she could not have been sweeter! The food was delicious. It was a wonderful way to celebrate my birthday.

This place is way fancier than I thought it'd be. It's a dark and quiet place for a romantic night out. The food was top notch (Feta crisps are bomb), and the staff was attentive. My ONLY gripe was the wait for food but it all seemed fresh so it's to be expected.

I recently "rediscovered" the Caspian Café. What a delightful experience. The food is very good and consistent! It is one of my "go-to" restaurants now! Substantial portions and very reasonably priced.

Best restaurant in Colorado Springs

Perhaps it was an off day for this place, and for the server….but omg, my experience was terrible! The interior is very dark, outdated and candidly depressing. In my opinion. Extremely slow service with maybe three other people in the restaurant. The worst thing was my entree. It was so bad I couldn’t even take more than three bites. The chicken was way overcooked…just bad. There are so many other great options.

Although we had so external issues concerning the meal. Our experience was in fact frustrating. They ran out of food, had to talk another customer into relinquishing their order. The mousaka was not all that great and we felt placated at best. However, the restaurant did acknowledge my birthday with a nice dessert. Over all I believe they were trying, however, they admitted they ran out of food often. Not a good plan for this price point.

Food was wonderful as usual! Great atmosphere and not to loud!

With a reservation already made on a busy Mothers Day, we were quickly seated upon our arrival. Our waitress “Asia” was outstanding. The food @ service was timely & delicious. We’ll definitely be returning.

We really enjoyed Caspian Cafe. The ambiance is very attractive and it has good sound absorption. We tried the spanakopita, vegetable beef and barley soup, and the tagine of lamb and artichoke heard—all were delicious.

Loved it! Such a great reception and experience all around. Loved the food—layered spices, huge portions, and willingness to suggest substitutions for allergies. Will definitely go again. It’s on the expensive side for Mediterranean food, but you are paying for the attention to detail in the rich flavoring of each dish. It’s definitely worth it!!

As always, fantastic food and service. My prime rib special was among the best I’ve ever had. Everyone in our party was very pleased with their meal. Our server (Asja) was friendly, knowledgeable, attentive, and professional - outstanding!

If you’re person of color don’t come here first time before the food was on table. They gave me a check to pay fast.

Oh my God.... this place is so so delicious! We was driving by to visit my friend near by and my mama was like, oh look Caspian Cafe, I want coffee. So we came in for coffee and ended up falling in love with the food AND the incredible coffee. Not kidding... we're coming back for sure.... btw, we love the jazz music ♡♡♡

At first I was unsure if I would enjoy the food because its out of my comfort zone. Well let me just say I was unable to take a picture because the first bite was so delicious I couldnt stop eating. The chicken was so juicy and tender. The wine was so sweet I loved every bite. The chocolate just sent everything over the top and we are still in a food coma. I 100% recommend. The service and atmosphere is on point.

Moe and staff are outstanding hosts with amazing food to compliment. The Prime Rib with garlic pepper mashed potatoes was absolutely on point. My wife had a honey chicken dish and was thrilled with how tender and well cooked it was. Desert was phenomenal, everything we experienced from walking in to walking out was perfect. Highly recommended. That's major.

Great place to eat. Community staple.

Overall a very pleasant experience. Only minor concern was the waiter spent way too much time talking to us (it was at lunch and we were his only table until just before we left), but once another table arrived he pretty much disappeared. Food was great, as usual. Would prefer to be there when more diners are visiting. Service seems better when wait staff are busier at most restaurants, but Tuesday at lunch isn't a high volume time for customers. Most top-of-the-line wait servers definitely seem to do better jobs when they are busy.

Outstanding Mediterranean food. John was our server and when we return to Caspian, we will ask to be seated in his section. He was informative, friendly, prompt, and jovial. Try the baklava. Best we have ever had.

We were on a trip to visit the Air Force Acadmey, and the good ratings here on tripadvisor led us to this restaurant. The waitress was nice, and there was an ambient atmosphere. We were disappointed with the Mousaka. There was hair found in one, and it tasted very bland and even before we tasted it, it looked quite unappetizing. Half of our party ordered gyro, which was better, but after arriving at our hotel all of us were sick to our stomach. They were kind and didn't charge us for the Mousaka, but would definitely not come here if looking for quality Greek food.

Caspian Café has become my favorite restaurant in the Springs. The food is always excellent; the service is attentive, but not intrusive. Atmosphere is quiet, allowing for good conversation amongst friends. It looks a bit homely from the outside - Don’t let that prevent you from enjoying the best Mediterranean culinary experience in Colorado Springs!

What a charming, lovely cafe! We came here for a meal in between meetings and had one of the best meals we'd had in a long time. I had a divine moussaka and my husband had the kabob platter; both were fantastic! Portions were big without being gigantic, the staff were super friendly, and the ambiance was a delicate balance of refined and unstuffy. Out waiter checked in on us often but without being annoying, and his cheerful service made our day.

The lunch plate (I had Lamb with artichoke and fava bean) had well balanced flavors. The hummus appetizer was as good as anything I have had in the Middle East.

Very tasty food. Nice atmosphere and great service. Will be coming here often.

Great restaurant. We waited for about 50 minutes between ordering and getting food. We were not in a rush, so no worries, no hurries. I wouldn’t go there if I needed to eat in less than 1 1/2 hour or 2. Beyond that, great!

We had dinner here for Valentines day. For appetizers, we had hummus and baba gahnouj, both were good. For entrees, I had the Filet and Tiger Shrimp with veggies and mashed potatoes. My lady had the honey almond chicken with basmati rice. She got the mushroom soup with her meal and I chose the salad. The mushroom soup was out of this world! Best we've ever had, and we plan on returning for this alone! The salad was good. The Filet was very good, the tiger shrimp were average at best (in both size and taste). Take note, this was a small meal for those of you who are hungry. Her honey almond chicken was tender, delicious and a portion large enough for leftovers! The deserts that came with the meal were plated nicely and those of you who have a "rich" pallette will love these sweets. The cute, cozy and warm setting was great for the curcumstances. Previous obligations ran longer than anticipated and we were 20 minutes late for our reservation. The manager (perhaps owner) made nothing more than a quick mention of it and we were still served without an issue. Thank you for that, we will certainly be back!

Terrific! Perfect experience for our Valentine's dinner!!

My food server was great and without fault with her attention to detail. Unfortunately my partner had asked for a sample of the soup and for whatever reason the kitchen staff ignored our waitress. We never got that sample of the soup and it left an unfortunate and indelible mark on what could have been an otherwise great experience. I would not go back unless I get that great wait staffer again as she was one of the best professional service staff I have experienced in Colorado Springs, CO.

I enjoyed it so much that I took photos of the food and emailed them to everyone I knew. Totally unique meal can’t get it anywhere else. I love bringing friends, Have have never been there to the restaurant so they can experience the food. I judged your restaurant on three things; the taste of the food, the price of the food, and the service. Caspian Café met all my expectations.

Food was fresh, properly prepared and delicious! Met at door by owner who gave my wife a rose and sat us(it was Valentines). Service excellent; warm atmosphere with tastefully piped music at the perfect level. New favorite!

We have chosen Caspian Cafe for every celebration over the last 2 years, at least 10 times. We love the food, the employees, and the atmosphere. The food is cooked wonderfully and we always leave feeling full but light and energized. The flavors are so fresh and have depth. It’s a great place to meet up with friends for lunch or to celebrate something!

Went on a Valentine's date with my wife. The atmosphere was romantic, the food was excellent and the service was very good. Would definitely visit again on the future.

The restaurant could use a little face lift but the food was good and fresh and tasty. The price was fair, the service was perfect. Tasty appetizers large delicious salad and the steak was very good.

Great authentic Mediterranean restaurant in CO Springs. Not busy at all on a Wednesday night. Staff were very friendly and nice. Food was delicious and well prepared. Some of the best lamb tagine I have ever had!

What a lovely gem located in Colorado Springs. I am visiting from out of state and this was one of the places I wanted to check out while here and I'm happy that we were able to make it. My significant other and I were both highly impressed by the food here. The quality as well as the use of flavors and texture. Additionally, the service was very warm and welcoming. We both can't wait to try this place again the next time I am here for a visit!

Moussaka was so salty I felt sick after several bites, and I generally like salty food. The atmosphere and server were nice though.

This place does not disappoint. Food is what it should be! Servers are right on time..

Another wonderful meal as is true every time I go there. It is my favorite spot to take family when they come in from out of town.

We had not eaten there for quite some time, and I’dforgotten how good it was. We had lunch, and all three entrées were excellent. The waiter was friendly, and went out of his way to make it nice for us. 

Great food and large portions. Just bring a flashlight with you because the lighting is Poor. Then you can read the menu!

Her knowledge and experience of serving others really shined through. She made our experience exceptional. The food was excellent. The Zucchini feta soup of the day was the best soup I think I’ve ever had and the salad with salmon was also delicious.

Went here based on a recommendation from a date and turned out to be a really good restaurant experience. I would describe the decor as cozy and festive (holiday season). The food was authentic (according to her) and quite good. Prices were also reasonable, so no real regrets if the food doesn't quite meet expectations.

Shared a generous salad and lamb kebab dinner with my adult daughter and the food was plentiful, tasty and reasonable on this basis

The food was amazing! The servers were very friendly and helpful! Receiving the food took longer than expected, but we were not in a hurry.

This restaurant was quite stylish, in 2006. It desperately needs a makeover. It was a long wait after water arrived and each stage of ordering and service was drawn out leaving an overall feeling of inattention. The food was good but not as fabulous as the check would have indicated.

If you enjoy Mediterranean food, this is the place for you. The gyros are the best I’ve ever had!

My server was absolutely phenomenal! Checked in, refilled my drink before I was even all the way done, kept us up to date with fresh bread, and showed menu options that were supported for the day. So glad my mom and I came! P.S the Orange and Saffron Caramel Custard is always a favorite for the two of us.

Very nice ambiance and excellent service. The food was very good but I could have like less sauce. Superb salads and I don't usually rate salads all that great. Really enjoyed our dinner and the Cafe itself. Will definitely be going back to Caspian!

I ordered the Fried Halloumi appetizer, Persian Chicken in Walnut Sauce, and Limoncello Mascarpone Cake. Total was $44.85 not including tax. Starting with the Halloumi - I really like Halloumi, and the flavor was nice, BUT for $12, they only gave 3 small pieces of Halloumi and three small pita triangles. Just didn't seem worth it for as little Halloumi was provided. Next up the Persian Chicken in Walnut Sauce. The description in the menu certainly made it seem like it was Fesenjan. The actual dish was 2 pieces of split breast chicken with some sauce on top. It definitely wasn't Fesenjan. Also, there wasn't enough sauce. It tasted ok, but not great. I expected better for the $25 menu price. Finally, the Limoncello Mascarpone Cake. It tasted ok. I was expecting a nice balance between tart and sweet. I think the menu even described it that way. It was all sweet. Almost couldn't detect any notes of lemon. It was $8. In all, if this meal was $25-$30, instead of $45 - I might return. But, there simply wasn't enough value for what was pretty mediocre food.

Their food is always top notch. Basically Greek style food but prepared and presented as a gourmet dining experience.
