Great food, great service, and they have outdoor seating in the shade.

Excellent restaurant. Service was outstanding, attentive but not imposing. The tapas selection was great and the food quality was exceptional. This is a “must visit” in Colorado Springs.

Expensive but well worth it. Wonderful dishes with many flavors and lots of variety. Have a carafe of the sangria!

Very Americanized and assimilated food!! Being from Spain I felt disrespected that the restaurant owner and staff are not from Spain. I do empathize with people who have gluten allergies as my sisters suffer from this, but bread is one of our biggest cultural food items. The Pan con tomate was terrible with just a drop of tomato paste with fresh sliced cold grape tomatoes on a small piece terrible bread that became soggy within a few seconds and the grape tomatoes falling off the bread. Not how we make the our food!! No I DO NOT recommend this restaurant if you want an authentic Spanish Tapas. Another American who’s visited Spain and tries to assimilate our food that has passed from generation to generation. As far as the service I thought my waitress was dressed very inappropriate the atmosphere was just ok. Hey anyone can put on flamenco music and serve Americanized Tapas and can it a Spanish restaurant. I will not be returning!!

Had a good time at TAPAteria last night. Service was perfect - attentive but not intrusive. Dishes came out reasonably quick and freshly prepared. Sangria was delicious and the prices were about what we figured they would be. Very cool and comfortable patio even in mid 80 degree heat. Desserts were delicious - almond torte being the overall favorite of the three we ordered.

Fantastic food and completely gluten free. The group I was with is pretty specific about their diet and they were able to meet every need. They were also super nice and super fast. It was super clean and very roomy. Fantastic place to stop by after the Manitou incline and I'll definitely be here again. Their sangria's are also fantastic and very cheap. Unless you don't drink, there's no reason not to get one while you're here.

I’ve been a long time customer who moved away. I came back after three years and am happy to see the Tapateria remains just as delicious as I remember it. The food was on point and tasty. I ordered the special along with a few other tapas everything was carefully made and with a lot of attention to detail. The team working at the Tapateria was very attentive and overall provided a positive experience. Highly recommend going to the Tapateria.

We didn’t enjoy most of the dishes we ordered. Also, an order of mussels is only 5 mussels, overcooked and overpriced. The toast served with several of the dishes seemed like smushed sliced wheat bread, very dry. No butter or olive oil. Did not taste good. On a positive note, the wild salmon tartare was very good.

Everyone was nice and place was pretty. But menu and food felt like it was prepared by 3rd grader. Palatable, healthy, but very unsophisticated.

Dissapointing. Nothing we ordered look a thing like the pics. Four of us ordered many tapas. Most were very bland. Worst sangria we ever had. Oysters were terrible. We have visited Spain twice, so we have had excellent sagria and tapas. We really wanted to like this place.

This is a great restaurant! All gluten free tapas that are delicious. The service is wonderful too.

We loved nearly everything we had. The tuna salad, the chicken pinxto, a cheese or two, the bison, and the pork adobada were all favorites. We didn’t love the gazpacho or the mussels but I could see how other people would. The service was terrific and it was such a cute little place.

This restaurant deserves 5 stars. Food was amazing. Wine selection was large. The seating out back was perfect for the summer with nice plants, good shade and large patio. Inside looked very cozy. Sharable plates make a meal with friends and family so much more enjoyable. The tarta de Almandras was delicious. An excellent restaurant in the cute old town of Co Spgs.

We came here as a family with teenagers. One gluten free, one veggie, one meat lover. Perfect. Just perfect. We had just arrived from the UK and only wanted a few tapas to keep us awake in the new time zone. It far exceeded our expectations. The food was delicious and wonderful not having to worry about being gluten free. Every dish was beautifully served and perfect in every way. Such a cool chilled environment. Thank you. We would love to come back if we have the time before we continue on our road trip.

The kitchen works very hard and the food is always delicious and flavorful. Big outdoor area too. Got the muscles and chorizo at the bar.

Visiting Colorado Springs for the first time and found this gem. Reservations are Highly recommended. It's a small quaint place with a nice outdoor patio also. We sat at the bar and watched the cooks prepare all the great dishes. The white bean hummus was great, it has a little kick to it..The garlic shrimps were delicious. The goat cheese salad was my favorite. The mushrooms were delectable. We also had the potatoes bravas and the wrapped dates, which were both great. The meatballs we thought were ok. A must stop place if you're in colorado springs. They do an all ypu can eat paella each month, which we were going to do, but unfortunately was already sold out. Hats off to the chefs. Keep doing what you're doing! Until next time.

Everything was amazing. Wish they did not have a plastic tablecloth. The price was very reasonable and we had many dishes.

If I could give 7 stars I would. Honestly, my wife and I were blown away by the food. Admittedly, I’m not a connoisseur of fine food, but it was amazing. So much incredible flavour. Our waitress was very pleasant and helpful and the atmosphere was cozy and old-world like. If we had had more time in Colorado Springs, we would certainly have been back. Would 100% recommend.

We loved it! Great food, wine and service with a funky vibe. They have cleaned up the patio somewhat and made it more comfortable and prettier.

The patio is nice and dog friendly but the food was really surprisingly bad. The Pan con tomate was a strange pressed bread with marinara on it. The wine and cocktails might be great but you should know you aren’t getting good tapas here.

Probably our favorite place in Old Colorado City. Creative and delicious tapas selection with great drink menu.

We had maybe 8 different tapas dishes, and they were all delicious! The quality and flavor of the food was top notch. I would highly recommend this place.

The environment here is spectacular, especially if you find your way to their lovely patio. The food is nice, especially the sweet treats. The blood orange sangria tastes as nice as anything I’ve had in Spain. But I will return because of the wonderful vibe and staff they have provided for the client.

Stopped here for a bite while exploring OCC. The food here was delicious! The grilled oysters were so flavorful and I really like the wrapped dates! The patio was adorable and a great spot to relax!

Several of our dishes were completely forgotten about and never arrived. White particles floating in the bottom of my water glass. I hate to leave such a review but I've gotta be honest. Surely this info will help them for the future.

I never write reviews. I reserved the patio for my wife’s 40th birthday party. I couldn’t happier with how well it was coordinated… the timing of everything from drinks to appetizers to desserts was great. The paella was amazing (and perfect for any large group gathering). The taste, the culture, and the chef were great. If you’re looking for a win through family or work, this place must be considered.

What a wonderful experience to be able to have a restaurant 100% gluten free to celebrate a birthday and have my daughter order anything on the menu. Everything that we tried was delicious, especially the shrimp, tuna carpaccio and mushroom dishes. Will certainly be coming back to this establishment to enjoy their blood orange sangria and tapas treats!

Service was great. we sat outside, the waitress was super nice and always ensured we were good on everything My wife got the charcuterie board, garlic shrimp and garlic mushrooms. Her reviews: charcuterie board was lovely, she loved the blue cheese that was on there too. the garlic shrimp n mushrooms were some of the best tasting stuff we picked on the menu. i ordered the garlic bread that you spread yourself n the garlic shrimp. i loved both plates. i felt fancy spreading the garlic myself, it also tasted absolutely amazing. the garlic shrimp i got was perfect. it was everything i wanted, a simple garlicky shrimp that was grilled. absolutely perfect

Loved the atmosphere and the sangria was really good! The food was decent, but I would probably only come back in future as a drink/appetizer only type place. The portions are small, and I know, it's tapas, but I've been to other places that give larger portions. Overall a good experience and very friendly staff.

Good food and service. However, they advertise a Happy Hour on their website that they don't actually offer. Either that or our waiter was just uninformed.

Tavia absolutely blew our socks off! She suggested the best plates (garlic mushrooms with bleu cheese will change your life) I could eat here seven days a week. Perfect for a date night, family dinner, or just a drink at the bar TAPAteria has you covered.

Amazing tapas! It was hard to choose from so many fantastic options. The grilled garlic shrimp, chorizo and figs, and artichoke and roasted tomato salad were all fantastic. The outdoor patio was quiet and comfortable. Highly recommend.

This was our first experience with a Tapa restaurant, and we were not disappointed. Our server, chloe, had a glass of ice water on the table, almost before we could sit down, and was attentive, and helpful, and smiling through the whole lunch. The food we tried was prepared with obvious attention to flavor. We will be back again definitely

great tapas place with plenty of options to try. everything on the menu is gluten free too! the place is very quaint. my only recommendation was for the host. we sat at the bar and the host was talking to the chef right next to us the entire time, about how much they made, what they liked and didn't about the job.. kinda killed the vibe we were hoping for

Excellent first experience. Great service, food and atmosphere. Only exception was that we were seated just inside the front door on a cold winter night, and it was cold or we would have stayed longer.

My fave tapas place in the springs! Great gluten and dairy free options. Very fun sangria flavors that regularly change too.

A fun little resteraunt. The food was good, and I enjoythe tapas approach because you get to try a lot of different things. I think the two of us ordered a total of 6 items, and we weren't able to finish the last item completely. The risk with the small plates is that you do have to be careful of how much it's adding up to, but I thought the prices were within reason. And the first time you go, you are never sure how small the plates are, and you may order too little or too much if you're not careful. Be sure to ask the wait staff if your not sure how much to order, but it's also perfectly acceptable to order more. The menu was an interesting variety of things, although having been to Spain within a year I was surprised I didn't see any dishes featuring Jamon Iberico, which was so prominent on just about any resteraunt we visited in Spain. We happened to get a table near the front windows, which would have been great summer spot to watch people pass by, but on a cold winter day there is a nasty draft from thr door everytime its opened. We look forward to coming back in the summer and trying the patio they have in the back as well

We ate here the first day we were in Colorado Springs. It is in Old Town Colorado Springs, which is a really cool area. There is an indoor seating and outdoor seating. Loved the entire vibe of this place. I had the charcuterie tray, caprese skewers, and roasted garlic bulb. My daughter had the garlic grilled shrimp and Gambas Semolina. I would definitely come here again as what we had was delicious and it was a lot of other things on the menu I would like to try. Would highly recommend!

Walked in and was immediately greeted and brought to a table. Never been to a TAPA place before. They helped me through the process as well. The environment just makes you feel warm and cozy in this place. If I have to recommend anything on the menu I have to say it's the Patatas Bravas. I literally cried at how good they were.

Beautiful patio with tasty small dishes. Most of all, it has an excellent selection of Spanish wines, and the service is superb. Just a fun scooter ride away from downtown and well worth the trip!

Nice spot to stop by. The food is very good. Well prepared and presentation is nice. The serving style of Spanish Tapas makes it perfect for trying several different dishes. Personally the Escargot and Bison plates were absolutely delicious. The Sangria is full flavored and chilled making it also a perfect pairing. Seating is no problem at all. Indoor or outdoor is available. Service was personable and prompt. Fair menu recommendations. No hesitation recommending TAPAteria for a lovely sit down eating experience.

This is a great place for friends to gather, share some small plates and a drink, and have some good conversation. It is a quiet place. The service is fairly quickly and at your own pace.

Excellent tapas. Food was very good. Our waitress was friendly but when we first got in there was no warm welcome, no smiles. The guy behind the bar seemed upset we stepped in. If you are open you serve food anytime.

Amazing, fresh, and perfect portions. I am flat-out addicted to the Tuna Carpaccio salad & tried (for the first time today) the Verduras Tower. YUM! Simply fantastic!

As much as I wanted to like it, it’s just wasn’t good. Nice atmosphere, but the food was terrible. If you’ve been to any real tapas place, you know this one doesn’t quite come close to it.

I booked a table for 4:30pm today, and arrived on time in this restaurant. When my wife and I arrived the place was completely empty. Thus, we asked if we could have a table outside and the manager said that everything was booked. So, we sit in a designated spot near a window. This spot was at least with 5 flies flying over our head. We asked if we could go to another table, because we didn’t want to dinner with flies, but even so it was impossible for the waiter/manager to move us, claiming that they were booked fully. Again at 4:30pm in a empty restaurant. So then, we had to go to another restaurant because they would like us to have dinner with flies! I don’t recommend it. Horrible service!

One of the best place to eat well in COS. I advice to taste chorizo & figs which were really good...and obviously crema catalana which is very typical!!

Wish this place was here when we lived in CO - what a delight! Returning for a visit, we stopped in for a wonderful evening of delicious food. Every dish was plated beautifully! Our server was on top of it all as well, very attentive.

I made reservations for myself and a male friend, but he was running 40 minutes late. I was guided to my table and was told someone would soon take my order. I waited 40 minutes, other people who came after me ordered and were eating. The waitress double checked their meals, but refused to stop at my table. I stopped the very nice hostess and asked for a server. She seemed surprised and asked if anyone had taken care of me. She apologized and I did get my margarita which was great. However another 20 minutes passed and no one took my order. My male friend finally arrived. He was shocked to hear what was happening. Soon after, he stopped the waitress managing the tables and complained. 1 hour later I finally ate. Why did it take a man to finally get some service? Was it because I was the only Hispanic in the restaurant? This is a place I frequent with friends. Sadly, I can no longer support a business that allows clear discrimination. I left feeling sad and disappointed ☹️

I love sitting at the bar, getting a wine flight and talking to the great staff. They also have a lovely patio. Most of the food is super good and worth the price (bison carpaccio), and some are something I could make easy from a grocery store (caprese skewers). I suggest watching the food coming out so you can see what you're getting. The shrimp tacos are also very good for the price. I always have a great time here, but not a fan that they charge a fee to use a credit card.

I highly recommend TAPAteria! Our server was attentive. She recommended small plates. These are the best tapas I've had... even in Spain! The Tuna salad was outstanding, the Bison sausage was amazing, and you can never go wrong with olives! The sangria was very good as well.

Excellent Tapas food. It was great that the food was served quickly on ordering, because we kept ordering in small batches. The outside seating was very refreshing, and the inside was also beautiful (though a little small).

Fantastic food and wonderful service

Well, you just cost yourself a good customer. It’s not my job to cover your cost of doing business, by adding a credit card surcharge on my receipt. You want me to patronize your small business.. you already burden me with the expense of having to pay your employees, since you won’t pay them a fair, hourly, living wage. And now you expect me to pay your credit card, transaction fees, which, at 3.5% are excessive. I have an easier way. Maybe I’ll just go to the big chain restaurants, where they don’t charge me a fee to use my credit card. Believe me, I love to support small business. But this is the last straw. My wife has been regular customers for the last few years, and this is a straw that broke the camels back. your food is great. Your service is good. But, we all have to assume there is a cost of doing business in the businesses that we own. And it should not be burdened uponthe consumer to pay extra if they want to pay with a credit card. But that’s what you’ve done. A simple 1.29 charge on my check has cost you yet another customer. I’m sure I’m not the only one. Wouldn’t it be easier to raise your menu prices by three or 4%? Probably. But you’re just greedy. So, good luck. I hope you do well with your credit card surcharge, but I’ll tell you one thing. You will never surcharge me again. Because I will never return.

I have never been to a Spanish restaurant like this so I didn't really know what to expect. I was very unfamiliar with everything on the menu but in the end everything we ordered was excellent. All the plates we got were excellent blends of meats sauces and vegetables. The drink selection was excellent as well as the dessert menu. I highly recommend this place if you are looking to try something new.

A++ service, excellent atmosphere. We reserved a table outside and they took such good care of us, even turning on the overhead heaters because they noticed I was cold. Our server was incredible and completely on top of everything. We ordered a TON of food so we could try as much as possible. Overall, a few dishes really knocked my socks off (warm olives, salmon tartare, the s'more, pan con chocolate), but most of the dishes were unfortunately pretty mediocre. Some were quite bad (chorizo & figs, the tuna carpaccio salad, and tortilla Espanola in particular) I would come back again because the experience was incredible but I wish they focused on maybe having less options but doing them better.

Always love coming here. We love up in Monument so we don't get here often, but when we do, it's awesome. Brought the kids for the first time and they thoroughly enjoyed it. Love everything about this place! Ashley was our server and she was great!
