I was astonished by the speed with which we were seated without a reservation. The fritter was exceptional. Subsequently, I enjoyed the most delectable salad I've had in an extended period. The French onion soup was exceptionally excellent. The prime rib was exquisitely seasoned, delivering one of the most delightful flavors I have ever experienced in any kind of meat. Asparagus was flawlessly prepared. With all these elements, having a superior waiter contributed to the most pleasant dining experience possible.

It has been several years since we have been to Cedar Lodge. They didn't disappoint. We ate there for my birthday and I'm so happy went there.

Went twice in 3 days. Amazing food, great bar service, fresh Guinness tap, amazing fish, and steaks were incredible (blue cheese). Can't wait to return!

I had the seafood combo which is perch, haddock, shrimp and sea scallops. If you love seafood order this, scallops and shrimp are excellent. My wife had tenderloin tips and scallops combo. The tips are extremely tender and very flavorful. Try the strawberry soup. it's great.

A heavyset bartender was very rude. Walked in wasn’t in the door 20 seconds and was hollered at. We were looking for a spot at the bar to sit. The bar has maybe 25 barstools. We just stopped in for a drink and the heavy bartender runs up to us and had to mention AGAIN we are done serving food! I heard her and said ok! Then she runs up to me to tell us again “ we’re done serving food! I turned to her and said I heard you! First of there’s no need to come out from bar. We will not comeback due to our first impression she left.

Both of our streaks were underdone, my prime rib was saturated in pepper. The "strawberry soup" that I read great reviews about is nothing more than over sugared pureed strawberries. It was very loud. Difficult for my wife and me to carry a conversation. Nothing in the building to knock down the acoustics. The service was good, 4 or 5 waitresses for the ten or so tables. With a couple drinks each, we spent about $125 for the two of us, after tips.

We travel all over for supper clubs, and this is our number 1. Small but food, service, and drinks are excellent. Must get the fritter!

Ok. My backstory first. Drive past this place every week, and have noticed it prior to driving past every day for work. Been on the buckelist for some time. We go in today, packed in a great way. All the patrons were very orderly and courteous with new faces coming in. Invited us to the bar to get an old fashioned, and helped us out with the process: You order a drink and say you want to order, and they will find you. We were skeptical, but sure schnitzel, they found us to order. Drinks were great with an amazing offering, and pretty great beer selection as well. Food: Amazing staff handling thr seating, and offering suggestions. Love the sweet tooth integration with orders (have to visit to see what I mean). Spot on Fritters to start?!?!?! Strawberry soup?? Think the cold slurry that is the best part of a strawberry Sunday. Unexpected, but great! Steak was a great cut and prepared exactly how I ordered- chef recommendation. My wife got the perch, which was light and amazing as well. To finish, we got the pistachio cheesecake. What. The. Heck. Amazing. VERY well done- kudos to the female chef that was on the edge thinking it was too sweet, from what we heard... Been on the buckelist for some time, glad we stopped and will be back. Thank you folks, and CHEERS!

Kelen and her staff are top notch, 👌 people pleasers! Great drinks phenomenal food and fantastic service. Cozy supper club vibes with big city service! You need to try the chicken marsala and the bacon wrapped Cajun shrimp. We love you guys! Keep up the great work!

Fabulous food that overflowed the plate. People, both staff and regulars, were delightfully welcoming. Atmosphere that was warm and inviting. Exactly what my soul needed. Definitely will be coming again. Thank you for a very pleasant evening and the wonderful meal.

Loved the classic supper club charm. Starting with a warm fluffy apple fritter is definitely a highlight before having a thick cut ribeye. Steaks were cooked less than we would’ve liked, but overall good. Just be sure to order one grade higher than usual.

I wish there was more space inside because the food and service was incredible but waiting to be seated was beyond cramped.

From the second you walk in the door you are greeted with a warm smile and they take your drink order. Service was very quick and attentive. Food was excellent. Recommendations are the fritter, strawberry soup or extremely cheesy French onion. Finish your meal off with prime rib and an ice cream drink! Well worth the drive no matter where you are coming from, we drive 30 minutes to dine here.

Finally stopped in after passing many times and it was well worth it. It was Friday night around 5:30 and the place was busy. I quickly got a bar stool and the bartenders were prompt with a beverage and menu. The group next to me invited me into their conversation which was very kind of them and enjoyable. My order of Perch with rice and a Fritter was taken within a half hour and within the next half hour I was seated. The Fritter was amazing, a perfect start, the salad was fresh and crispy. The perch fillets were good sized and lightly breaded and the rice was cooked and seasoned well. For dessert I enjoyed the chocolate chip muffin from the bread basket. Again it was delicious. An extra bonus, the dinner and beverage was under $25. The food, service and atmosphere will bring me back again!

Great small supper club. Best to have reservations as it is busy. If you go often enough, it becomes a Cheers atmosphere where everyone knows your name!!

My husband and I stopped here for dinner to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Such a cute, quaint little place with great food and an inviting atmosphere. Waitstaff was very friendly as well. We will definitely be returning.

They sat us at the table, next to the patrons. Loud , people pushing shoving. It was awful. Steaks were raw. Sent back twice, still raw. Potatoes hard as rocks. Just gave us money back. That wasn't the point. My point was to let them know how bad it really was. Waitress was rude.

I took my daughter there for her birthday and we both had a very wonderful and relaxing time with each other over a very good meal.

We went on Friday and everyone in our party had fish. Some had tuna, some haddock and some perch. All were excellent. Wait staff was attentive and accurate. It's a smaller di ni g room so was a bit loud. This didn't interfere with the experience. Will definitely go back.

A wonderful drive with friends to enjoy exquisite food. Strawberry soup was sweet, creamy delight.

Very small place, very crowded making it very loud inside. 2 of us had shrimp was was rubbery, 1 had fish which was soggy, kid had chicken strips, they were ok. My cocktail didn't taste like an old fashion. The desserts we took home, we tried them & threw them out. We were very disappointed. There is no w/c access.

Cedar Lodge has awesome food and service. I would highly recommend reservations. The place is a bit small but they are highly efficient in serving customers. I love eating there and I ‘m never disappointed. The prices are very reasonable.

I eat out a lot and appreciate the finer establishments - this is one of my favorite restaurants in Wisconsin. Fish, steak, prawns, strawberry soup, cole slaw are all incredible. The staff is consistently exceptional. Worth the drive from wherever you are in eastern WI !

Ok, so, yes i work here but i want to share. Kellen (the boss) is the nicest boss ive ever met. she treat’s customers so well and always puts her workers before herself. and in the kitchen we always make sure to keep things clean and keep dishes sanitary for customers. the chefs are also full of joy and love joking around but not when it comes to cooking. they always do things to perfection. the bar and menu have a large variety of things so you will never be disappointed.

Went with a group of 16 and they were able to accommodate us later in the evening at two separate tables. Food and service are excellent as usual.

This is absolutely the best supper club in the area. While this is a smaller restaurant, they are extremely efficient in turning the tables over. The wait staff are great and professional You will start your meal with a warm fritter followed by a soup and then a salad. The food is always great. Tonight we had prime rib and it was perfect. They do take reservations and I would recommend that you make them. If you come by boat, they will even pick you up. It’s a special treat ever time we dine here.

Not easy to get table on weekends. Need big appetite to eat the amount of food they serving....Excellent prime rib. Great bar.

Absolutely a hidden treasure of a restaurant. Service was fabulous. Food was delicious. Love this little quaint place. So much warmth just like the fritter you start out with!

Excellent food and good service. Don't go if you expect to linger and visit at the table, it's a small place and they'll ask you to leave. The bar is very small and crowded.

Have been to Cedar Lodge a couple of times and the food and friendly servers never disappoint! We live about an hour and a half away, but Cedar Lodge is well worth the trip! You start out with warm apple fritters or fruit, followed by salad or pasta salad then soup and an assortment of rolls and then your entree with choice of potato. So much food and super reasonable prices for what you get. Hubby had prime rib with scallops and twice baked potato and I had the special of filet Oscar with twice baked potato The restaurant is tiny so reservations are a must! Only down side is the service feels a bit rushed because of the amount of people waiting to be seated.

Always so crowded and hard to talk it's so loud, but the food is always amazing and the service is great.

Great food, great service! Make a reservation because it's busy but worth the wait and a drive. The fritter is a wonderful way to start the meal. Why not a little pre-meal dessert. Fall of the bones ribs, perfectly cooked steaks, delicious shrimp. Tasty soups and fresh salads. Everything is excellent!

First of all, my kudos to the bar. Bartender was REALLY good, she made sure everyone was served and on the wait list, even those that couldn’t have a spot at the bar. She remembered the drinks of our group (down to the details of garnish) which I found impressive because it was so busy. We had no reservations and it was a Friday night. The waitress took our order a little ahead of being seated to keep the flow moving. After a 2 hour wait, we were seated and dang - it was soooo worth the wait!! Dessert (fritter) is served first and was so yummy. It’s such a unique thing to do and we loved it. I went with the strawberry soup (another unique thing) and the blue cheese sauce on my steak (and I’m not one to normally eat blue cheese). Yum!! It was so good, not overpowering blue cheese-y tasting. Hubby got steak and scallops and said everything was really good. Portions are perfect sized so that you can eat everything and feel full, and not have to worry about a to go box. The waitstaff is kind and were working hard to make sure everyone was taken care of. We were so impressed with this tiny supper club. It was worth the drive and the wait. We will be back!! Thanks for a good dinner!

Had tenderloin tips with mushrooms and American fries. All three may have been the best prepared I've ever had. Seasoned and cooked perfectly. Reasonably priced too.

Food was superb! Love the blue cheese sauce. Excellent soups and desserts. Very small I side but cozy and everyone is so nice and understanding if you accidently bump them. Nice seating out front to wait for your table. Menu selection is great too! The fritter is always the best. Of course I'm gluten free and can't eat it but my friend enjoyed hers.

We've been to many supper clubs and would rate the food here just ok. The service is excellent, superb. We both had the Ribeye, twice baked potatoes, i had spinach salad, he had salad. I had french onion soup, he had beef barley. I had a bourbon old fashioned sour, it was a mix and not good. Steaks were done medium and perfect. Steaks were grizzly, flavorless and tough. Fritter was delicious. Twice baked potatoes were very dry and flavorless. Soups.were.good,.french onion had.huge.chunks of onion. Definitely a restaurant, not a supper club. People on both sides of us had same complaints. Probably won't return.

Great food, top 5 favorite restaurants. ****EDITED**** Best place to go for food and drink!! Make reservations a day ahead and order the mozzarella logs. My goto is the Friday mound of shrimp, Seafood platter or the Tuna. Anything on the menu is great! Sunday is the best for breakfast, first come/first serve… to die for!

The fettuccine was a bit runny because it had a lot of cream and not enough egg and parmesan cheese in the sauce.

Good supper club food, but nothing special. Nothing that would make me drive out of the way just to eat there. I had ribs and the person I was with had ribeye. Again, don't get me wrong. Nothing at all bad about the food, just nothing special either. However, the staff was incredible. Great service!

They offer a kids fish fry and steak! The old fashion is delicious along with amazing steaks. Oh and don't forget the apple fritter! Great experience!!!!

Probably the best or at least top 5 Prime Ribs I've ever had. Very friendly staff. The place is very small so I suggest reservations. Once you get there they get you seated fairly close to your reservation time and once seated let the games begin. They are very fast with service and get your used plates off and new course comes quickly. Can't wait to go back.

For a unique experience, drive across the ice from Oshkosh and dine at this wonderful little supper club for a delicious dinner. We had a group of 12 and they were able to accommodate us in their cozy little corner!

Food was a generous amount and delicious. There is a large selection on the menu. The bar made a great Bloody Mary and waiting for a seat was minimal

We frequent many supper clubs in WI. From Rockford and wish we had a place like Cedar Lodge here. Your service, personality and wonderful food, friendly atmosphere is really hard to beat. We had the Haddock plenty to eat wonderful frityer, onion soup was really good. We will return I have been going by this best kept secret for 20 ,yrs and finally found a great place.fish fry

This was the second time we ate here and it was just as great as the first. This place is always extremely busy, you can hardly get in the door. But it is well worth the 2 hour wait time!! The Apple fritters are awesome. A place where you get dessert first! Drinks are very tasty and the bartenders are awesome, if your glass is empty they are right there to fill it up!

If you live in Wisconsin or are just visiting, and love supper clubs, this is the one to go to. Amazing food, atmosphere, and service. You have to try the fritter and strawberry soup! I had the pork ribs and they literally fall off the bone, so delicious. It’s a very small place and you definitely need a reservation, but it’s simply one of the best supper clubs around. Highly recommended if you have a chance to go!

Tenderloin eggs Benedict is amazing !

We don’t stop here as often as we should but every time it’s fantastic tonight I had the butternut squash ravioli with shrimp can’t say enough crazy good.

We have been to this establishment many-many times! The service is superb, the food is fabulous, the cleanliness is great! We look forward to our drive to “then other side of the lake” each a every time we go to Cedar Lodge! Great place to dine and have fun!

We always get outstanding service and the menu is great. I haven't had a bad meal there yet! You get an incredible amount of food. Taylor waited on us this past week and she was awesome. Highly recommend this Supper Club!

The Cedar Lodge in Calumet, Wisconsin is an awesome place. I had the weekly special breakfast omelet here. It was huge and loaded with flavor. The chill crowd here was very mixed and also seemed to be really enjoying their food too. You should stop on by and bring a friend or two because you definitely won't be disappointed! Highly recommended. ;)

Went on a Sunday morning at 8:25am with the family. There were quite a few people waiting outside ready, about 25 there already and they were supposed to open at 8:30. They were dealing with some issue with pipes inside. This did not stop them from providing amazing service and handling the unexpected curve ball like a pro! They got our drink orders (bloody Marys were great, lots of flavor) and eventually started seating people. We ordered fresh blueberry pancakes (amazing, perfect sweetness), ham Benedict (the Hollandaise sauce was so buttery and lemons, perfect) and also one of the specials prime rib hash (also delicious). The eggs were cooked to perfection in both dishes, and the toast was a total shining star! Fresh bread, crispy, soft and buttery. Lastly, the service was spot on! We were well taken care of with drinks, a nice smile and the cool calm collectedness of the staff in the chaos. We have ordered take out several times, and it has been just as good. Tips: If it's a Sat or Sun morning, Fri or Sat night. Be prepared for a wait. It's worth it and there are tables outside to enjoy a drink at.

Stop occasionally and each time the bartender is less than friendly and tends to throw the money on the bar. Try to give the benefit of doubt but visit less and less.

Supper clubs are my weakness, I love the atmosphere in this place very friendly service. Had the haddock recommended by my sweet server. Food was better than the supper club in Saint Cloud not mentioning names cause it a great place too. But cedar is the place for food and service.
