Updated Review 8/29/24... What an absolute disaster is all I can say about my experience and even that may be an understatement. Placed a simple online order with 7:15pm scheduled pickup and proceeded to wait until 7:15 passed, 7:20 passed, 7:25 passed and 7:30 passed and my order was still no where to be found. Witnessed someone walk in and place an order at the counter and he got his food before I did, as did numerous others even though I had a scheduled pickup time. At one point they actually handed me the wrong order, but I had to point out that it was not mine, even though they handed me more food that was in my order (hey I'm honest, even in the midst of ineptitude). Eventually got my order with no apology, just a handoff and they turned around and walked away. It's funny because I was a consistent frequent customer but this is a perfect example of how to lose a loyal customer in the span of about 30 minutes. Really unfortunate but well deserved... Initial Review at Opening... Saw the balloons and "now open" sign out front of the strip mall that sits in front of the Indian Land Walmart, and being the self-professed wing connoisseur that I am, I decided to stop by and give them a shot and spoiler alert...can someone say "winner winner chicken dinner", as we have a new contender not only for "rookie of the year", but dare I say "wing place of the year". Yes, the experience was that good! From the moment I walked in the door, I was treated as though they truly valued me as a customer and were actually happy to see me. Now I know that sounds basic, but those of you who have read any of my other reviews know that this seems to be more the exception than the rule unfortunately, especially here in South Charlotte. The cashiers were all very friendly and helpful as I navigated my way through the menu, and they were sure to point out that they were doing free wing samples as part of their grand opening, so of course I had to try a few of the intriguing flavors such as strawberry hot, Bermuda burn and red tang. I have to admit that the wing sample idea is a stroke of brilliance as it served its purpose of getting me to try some of their more unique flavors without the fear of hating my choice, and ultimately I ended up going with Strawberry Hot Wings and a Philly combo with onion too and sweet tea. The food was made to order so don't expect a two minute turnaround, but that is a positive because all of the food was hot, fresh and delicious, from the crunchy onion rings to the stacked and stuff Philly, this place definitely exceeded my expectations every step of the way. Now of course, time will tell if they have what it takes to be the new wing king here in Charlotte, as time and truth always walk hand in hand, but as for today, welcome to the five star club Chex, as you made a great first impression and I wish you continued success!

Unfortunately everything tasted as if it was uncooked, overcooked or old. For example chicken fingers are not fresh, it's like these flat "chicken fingers" extremely processed and flavorless. It's as if there just an off brand that you bake for 10 minutes or microwave for 3. The Philly cheese steak... The cheese itself on top was very hard, whole sub was at the same quality, a off brand highly processed thin cut beef with bad preparation. Jalapeno poppers where warm on the outside cold on the inside... 42$ for items I could of bought in store at better quality food and had leftovers. Customer service is nice, actually really good and my only advice will be to make sure to get the food from a better more quality supplier or call yourself a fast food restaurant and lower prices so people know what to expect. I think it's the worst food I've had in an Indian land location. I don't mean anything I say here to be offensive, only honest and giving feedback. The food quality was very low and not even cooked correctly. I believe with Wing King being so close and most of us who live in Ballantyne and Indian Land not short on money, if this place doesn't stepup it will be out of business due to how word spreads. Soon as a business gets bellow a 4.3 or so. People don't go to it.

While having lunch I was greeted by Toni was very welcoming and informative. The food is excellent. I am recommending this place to everyone that I know.

The service here is hands down the best. They are always super nice and extremely helpful in helping you choosing a wing flavor (ask for a sample). The food is great!!! We get our wings extra crispy and buy the extra ranch dipping sauce…you’ll thank k me later. They also have really good subs and salads…awesome fries, onion rings, and mozzarella cheese sticks!!!

Chicken Alfredo sub with fried chicken, no mushrooms, and tossed in buffalo medium sauce is my favorite thing to get here. The service is excellent. The manager Saud is very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend this spot!

I was looking for some good wings, so I went here because of the reviews, I won’t be going back. The food was hot, but the wings were awful! I ordered 2 flavors, the buffalo wings were dry and had no wetness at all. The lemon pepper were just regular fried wings, no lemon pepper seasoning on them, I mean absolutely none! The wings were also big and meaty, and that’s a no for me. The prices are a little steep also. The young man at the counter was nice, and I received my order quickly, that’s the only reason I gave them 2 stars.

The people here at Chex Indian Land are LEGIT! They are very kind and communicative. They were able to adjust to a last minute event cancellation. This is all before the we took a bite out of there amazingly cooked wings and fries. I am about to order from them for my wedding this Friday so that goes to show how great this store is! I was hanging out with my friends on a Friday night as usual, we got a large order of wings and fries. But then a big and scary delinquent came and stole out food. However, my savior Tony with a T came and saved the day by defeating this big and scary delinquent, and returning our wings…The end.

My first time experience was so great, don't really remember his name but he was really patient and helped us choose out a great meal. The lady was also very kind. I absolutely loved the fries and ranch!!! It's a must!! I will be back!!!

The food was ok the wings felt like they had them cooked already and just threw sauce on them. The fries was fresh and hot because they had to cook them because they forgot it on my order. Then she get mad like it’s my fault. They need to teach reading comprehension and better customer service.

I would not suggest ordering the burger or buffalo shrimp from this restaurant/location. The buffalo shrimp was drenched in hot sauce and the shrimp was imitation shrimp which did not make it any better. The fries were OK, but cold. Just was not a good meal.

No falafel in the pita. We wanted a veggie pitta with falafel. There was no falafel in the pita it was just veggies. The girl at the register was arguing, saying yes, there was falafel when there wasn’t any. Hate to give a bad review.
