Food was great Food was prepared when ordered nothing sitting under heat lamps keeping warm.

First time I went to this location and it didn't disappoint! The chicken was amazing and juicy, the fries great and the rolls should be on your Thanksgiving table. Definitely will be returning even though it's almost 20 minutes from the office!

Highly recommend the fried Chicken, BBQ rides, French fries. The amazing food and friendly staff👍 The only drawback is the inside eating environment—a bit too simple. However cheap price for the great food, we can not require too much.

Traveled from Texas for a vacation. My husband was already out here working and brought us to Chicken Holiday. The Chicken Holiday was the Best fried chicken I have ever had.

This place is a hidden gem! From the moment we walked in, we were treated like family by the owner and staff. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was top-notch. But the real star of the show was the food! They even surprised us with some complimentary dishes, which was a lovely touch. The crispy chicken was absolutely perfect - lightly fried with a delightful crunch and juicy on the inside. It's clear they take pride in their ingredients and preparation. And the ribs...wow! The marinade was absolutely spot-on, infusing the meat with flavor in every bite. It just fell off the bone - pure perfection. We can't recommend this place enough! If you're looking for delicious food, friendly service, and a genuinely wonderful dining experience, look no further!

Surprised fried chicken joint in the corner of a quiet strip mall. We saw that ribs are available as well, but we only tried fried chicken on this trip. Chicken and fries were steamy hot when they came out. The beauty of this joint was food were not made ahead. You had to wait a bit but your food did not spend any time under the heat lamp. As a result, both chicken and fries were bursting with flavors when they got to your table. Self service restaurant. Owners work behind the counter and kitchen.

I love the food from this place, is tasty and always hot. The owner is friendly, he listens to what you want and make it for you. He definitely makes you want to come back to the place!! I ordered ribs, fried chicken, french fries and the cole slaw, everything was delicious. If you come to this place, you must try the ribs!!!

First good points. Chicken is wonderful. Juicy and tasty. The ribs are excellent. Smokey and tender. The less than stellar is their potato salad. Tastes and look like it's from US Foods. Tasteless and overall not good. Lastly just check your bag. Last time I asked for macaroni salad and got coleslaw. Overall very good 👍

Yummy chicken, one of the best in the area. But keep an eye on the total bill. Their math doesn't match up with either their printed nor website pricelist.

I went to the location after about 7 years I, The place was clean and the service was good,I ordered a 4pc deluxe chicken dinner the chicken was overcooked and dryed out, and burnt The sides were good, I don't believe I will be returning any time soon!

Been wanting to try this place for a year now (noticed it while driving on 130). I grew up with a Chicken Holiday in Franklin Park in the 90s (RIP Bruno & Wayne’s Chicken Holiday). I’m glad this place has gotten such positive reviews, definitely made me want to try it even more. I ended up getting the Deluxe Chicken Dinner (4 piece with fries and a roll) as takeout. When I walked in, it was like I was transported back to the Chicken Holiday I was familiar with. The crinkle cut fries were just like I remembered and the chicken was moist with crispy skin. Will definitely come back when I’m craving comfort food and nostalgia

Ribs were fall off the bone tender. Hardly any fat. The potato salad was creamy and delicious. The cook was a nice, friendly guy. This particular location is the best!!

Oh my gosh! On our vacation, we found this little place, and it was By Far the most tender chicken and Super Large Portions! We could not believe how good this was!

This place has great fried chicken flavor in East Windsor. I used to eat there when I was a young kid back in the 1980s. As times changed, chicken holiday's chicken flavor never bogs you down and their restaurant still remains at the same location. The macaroni salads taste excellent. Would go there again. The only drawback here is the service's a bit slow, due to lack of staff working inside.

My family has been coming here since before I was born and whenever I feel like a treat I head on over. Their ribs are DELICIOUS. Their fries are awesome. Really most of their food is phenomenal. Def go if you have the chance. Owners are awesome too

There's another chicken holiday where I grew up and it was my favorite, so I was excited when I moved up here and saw that the was one here too. However, I was extremely disappointed when I tried it out. It's just your average chicken, nothing special. It was just just average chicken you might expect from a pizza place. Not worth the price.

Some of the best friend chicken I've ever had, service is excellent. The servers are genuine and very nice. Ribs are very tasty as well and perfect tenderness. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Read the reviews on here and since I’ve rarely, if ever, seen a place with ratings like this I figured I’d give it a try. Got the 3 piece combo and have to say the chicken was great. Tasty and juicy yet somehow fully cooked. The chicken is dry at a lot of chicken places but not here. Give it a shot. I bet most things on the menu are going to hit the spot.

Came here after learning that a nearby KFC was closed and let me tell you...I have never been so happy for a place to be closed in my life. Chicken Holiday has some REALLY GREAT fried chicken. Their homemade hot sauce is AMAZING! They even made me feel very welcomed as this was my first time coming here. If you want fried chicken and are in the area...this is a MUST!! Been here 52 years so that should tell you all you need to know.

I was working an Uber shift last night and a customer spoke highly to me about this place so I just had to go, the place did not disappoint everything was great starting with the customer service which in my opinion is the most important thing in any business. The food was amazing as well it was fried chicken without any of the excessive greasy feeling that some other places give you. Definitely a place that you want to check out if you’re in the area.

Chicken Holiday on 111 Maple Stream Rd, East Windsor, NJ has the best tasting chicken in New Jersey! I was offered a piece of chicken to try as a 1st time customer (I thought was nice). Again, First time trying... & I LOVE it!! Chicken is tasty, hot, juicy, & has the perfect crunchy texture! Worth the 30 minute drive for me! I'm definitely coming back for more!! 5-Star Ratings. I had never ordered from here before but I saw the reviews were good so I ordered 50 pieces of chicken for a party. The chicken was a hit! Chicken was super flavorful and perfectly crispy. Everyone was loving the chicken and asking where I got it from. Definitely will be coming here again.

My review is a little different, but I needed to write this to show my appreciation. I had called the wrong location, paid for my order which was close to 50.00, and realized when time to pick up that I placed order at wrong location. I didnt expect to be reimbursed, since the food had to already been prepared, and was surprised the owner told me me he was reimbursing my order. I had to leave this review because it shows that this owner cares more about his customers, than the money. You dont find people like that often and encourage people to support his business and people like him. Plus, chicken holiday food is awesome.

A first time customer who plans on returning for sure! I had the chicken finger dinner which include chicken fingers, fries and I substituted for their macaroni salad. Can’t wait to go again. Great value and so fresh!
