Ordered 1 dinner a sm rice and sm lo mein, ( They had no chow mein) and it cost nearly $40. My huby and I ate about a third of it. Both of us got sick around 2 am. Total food poisoning. Service was terrible. Inside looked old a ran down.

Always fresh, always fast. We have enjoyed a variety of dishes. Hot & Sour soup is a favorite - we get the large whenever one of us had a cold. We usually pick up, but when we've had delivery that's always fast too. Great service!

This was my first time trying this restaurant and it was pretty good. I ordered delivery and it was still hot, which was cool. I tried the chicken with hot garlic sauce and fried rice, not too shabby. The eggroll was a little too oily for me but I'd eat here again and try their crab rangoons to see if those are better. Decent prices, lots of veggies in my dish and plenty of sauce👌

2024 update: still one of my go-to's. I mainly like this place because of the location and online ordering. I think they should revamp the menu but the classics are still good. 2023: Pretty good with good prices. Very small dining area of you want to eat there. Typical menu with average portions but I do like that you can order online and pick up or order there and it's ready in like 5 minutes. Some things are good and some things are bad so choose wisely.

We've been eating at China 1 for years. We started eating at China 1 when they were on 72nd and L and continue to eat at the 108th location. The food is always hot, fresh and tasty! The atmosphere is 'small diner plain' but we don't go for the atmosphere. We go for the great food.

The beef was like slime and just fat, the egg foo young was just egg with no vegetables. The sauce was nasty I’m not picky but yuck

I love the general Tso's chicken and the egg rolls here. Be careful when ordering online. Our credit card information was stolen immediately after ordering off of their website. Always pay in person.

Got food for my family on Sunday and have never regretted anything more!! All three of us were sick within 20 mins of eating. After 3 days, I'm still running for the restroom. We threw the rest of the food away immediately . I called to inform them but certainly Don't Want a free meal !! Eat at your own risk !!!!!!!!

It was absolutely awful. We ordered sweet and sour shrimp and the breading on the shrimp tasted wrong. The fried rice had a weird taste to it as well. We also got an order of triple delight and while that tasted okay, it didn’t outweigh how bad everything else was. I don’t think I’ll come back.

First time here, got the orange chicken with veg fried rice, you get so much it’s worth it and you get leftovers (depending on how hungry you are) it’s the best Chinese I’ve ever had. Woman in front was very nice and I will definitely be coming here again

Just tried this tonight for the first time, Wow! It’s so yummy!! Chicken was cooked perfectly! Veggie rice was delicious, my daughters devoured it! And the crab Rangoon is really good! The lady who placed my order was super sweet! This is definitely my new go to spot and bonus, it’s only 3 mins away! 😊

Its been 9 years since i came back to this place…. Still the very exact lovely taste and the lovely family which owns and runs the place … would suggest trying the rice noodles one of the best i had tasted across omaha, my kids loved the place!!

Sweet and sour chicken was a little lackluster but the lo mein, fried rice and crab rangoon was fantastic! Im very rarely impressed with lo mein. The prices are great as well.

I had fried rice here. It was better than most, but the lady at the front desk was so rude (raised voice, curt tone) I almost decided to hand the food back to her and walk out. Food is good but I cannot tolerate that kind of disrespect.

I recently ordered from this establishment. I used their website for delivery and started seeing charges on my debit card for Walmart.com and random hotels in the Omaha area. Someone from there spent about $1000.000 of my money. After reviewing my bank statement, I know the charges happened immediately after ordering from there. I had to cancel my card and am currently in the process of getting everything refunded. I will never order from here again.

I've ordered food from here a few times however when you ask questions the lady ( who is the owner is very rude and impatient for her lack of understanding English). I was simply asking a question and she was too rude because she couldn't understand me ! Ha imagine that. So I live in the area but I drive wayyy to another area to purchase food because what they have got to understand is that it's a privilege to have have customers frequent your restaurant it not a given. And it happened more than once. I know my value as a consumer. And at the end of the month when the bottom line is affected maybe they'll think" hey where is that guy that used to come in"? I'm a big spender on Chinese take out . #valuethecustomer

THIS WAS SO GOOD. Ordered online and went to pick up and it was fast and easy. The portions were amazing for the price. AMAZING flavor. Honey chicken was so good! They did not have chicken wings unfortunately but they made up for it with amazing service and food. I recommended this place to my family and friends.

Best Chinese takeout in Omaha! My boyfriend and I eat here about every 2 weeks because it's so good and they have such a wide variety on their menu. I love that you can pick your vegetables too if you don't like the ones that come with the meal. They are SUPER FAST; meal hot and ready in less than 10 minutes most days. Try their Orange Chicken (with real orange peel!) and Yum Yum Chicken and be don't forget to try their noodles!

Food is ok especially if you are not looking for bold and exciting flavor. Don't expect the staff to smile or make eye contact.

At first glance I wasn't expecting to see four booths, a trashcan and a little desk. However, I was not going to allow this to determine a greater portion of the review. I seated myself, before catching eyes with the waitress. I ordered the honey chicken dinner meal, two sides included egg roll and egg drop soup, and a water to drink. The water came in a small styrofoam cup, from a water-cooler. At least it was cold! As I waited alittle teacup sized human was on his mother's phone watching trolls. So while I waited I chimed in with poppy Singing "I'm not giving up today!" Next came the egg drop soup. The color was vibrant yellow with almost a hint of orange color. Corn kernals were in it. This is new to me, but it should have remained as undiscovered, don't tamper with the egg drop soup, just stick to the recipe, no adds. This soup had a bit of a spicy kick, I didn't enjoy that. Then came the dish with the egg roll. The egg roll was crispy, again with the spice! Someone must heavily pepper in the back, that's all I seemed to be tasting. It paired well with the sweet and sour sauce, just as a coating coolant. Pepper everywhere and I couldn't rid the taste of it in my mouth, so I shot for soy sauce which patched it up, and the honey chicken with sesame sprinkle was a pure joy! No regrets with the honey chicken, it was sweet, savory and very filling. Twards the tail end of the feast I reviewed some past reviews from other passerbys. I was fortunate to not find a maggot in my food, and the wait time was brief. Total over all 3.5 I would not bring my three kids here, the place is far too small. I can only hope to commit to memory the honey glazed chicken, that is definitely worth the memory at most.

I have order takeout here several times and have had good experiences so far. The shrimp lo mein is a must! Their delivery service is quick and very friendly. They also have the best prices from what I have seen so far. I definitely would recommend them.

Four of us ordered entrees and the food was delivered to our house pretty quickly. The food was tasty, warm and filling. We were satisfied with our meal and will likely order delivered Chinese food from China 1 again another day.

While the physical space would be considered a hole in the wall food joint, this food establishment is an incredible take-out and delivery Omaha secret! Never have I been disappointed with the five-star quality of recipe and ingredients. Ingredients: fresh. Recipes: exploding with flavor. They always accommodate my food change requests like holding an ingredient, and so forth. Delivery is fast. By the way, their shrimp fried rice is the bomb. GET YOUR CHINESE FOOD HERE!

I have ordered here probably 20+ times over the last year because of how close it is to my work. I have only had 1 experience where my food took over an hour to deliver, but other than that, the food is great and the service is friendly. Not really a sit in and eat place, more for take out and delivery.

My husband and I used to go to Golden Palace all the time and thought their food was pretty good, till we tried China 1! Best Chinese Food we have ever had by far! And GREAT prices! They also have the best egg rolls I have EVER had! Won't go anywhere else now. Just have it delivered though, it isn't the best looking place inside.

There food is deac. Crab is good . I recommend beef and broccoli or I should say broccoli and beef . A lil skimpy on beef.

Worst Chinese in Omaha CHINA 1. They are rude, don't care about customer service or messed up orders. They sent us the completely wrong order and when we called back, I was told I was wrong and called crazy. They said they would replace, but would charge our credit card. I told them to come back and pick it up and they started screaming at me. Bad people.

Without a doubt the cheapest Chinese I've ever had: p hit or miss on most things. The beef lo mein was, awkward, looking but tasted fine. The sweet and sour sauce was too watery and their "egg roles" looked more like huge taquitos and tasted weird. My suggestion? Stick with one entree and don't get your hopes up

Average Chinese takeout fare--their dine-in area is small and neglected. Food tends to be a little overcooked.

This is a hole in the wall place. The inside is nothing to speak about but the food is delicious. The lunch and dinner specials are available all day. The fried rice is so good my wife orders it by itself. I like the beef egg foo young. The hot and sour soup is the best I have ever tasted. The egg drop soup is very flavorful. I like the egg rolls but am not a fan of their crab rangoon. We usually get our orders to go because of the smell of the nearby dry cleaning store. All in all this is my favorite chinese place in Omaha.
