Worst "Chinese" food ever. Small portions of food with very bland flaver covered in teriyaki sauce. The almond chicken was just a piece of breaded chicken (very bland )cut into slices sitting on top of sprouts with almonds slices on top. Not traditional at all. The spicy beef was 5 small pieces of thin cut beef about 1" x 2" drenched in teriyaki with green bell peppers and tomatoes. Not spicy at all. The sirracha was some cheap off brand that tasted like ketchup and vinegar. ( kinda like the Christmas gift box of hot sause packs from walmart) the pot stickers definitely came out of a box in the freezer. Ham fried rice is questionable. I do not recommend this place even though it has over 4 stars.

I have Chinese takeout in NYC often, so at first, I was content with the quality of the food here. Until i woke up at 3AM and had to upchuck most of it. This was my only meal that evening...

We absolutely love this place. Food is always good and hot. Staff is always very pleasant and easy to get what you want. Clean and worth every penny. Great prices great value. Love the Lemon Chicken and Pon Pon Chicken (make to order).

The food here is awesome - very fresh and tasty! The service at the drive-through window is a mixed bag. They have gotten my order wrong four out of 10 times. When I returned with the wrong order, a young woman tried to argue with me about what she had said when confirming my order. She also told me that certain foods come in a plastic bag and certain foods come in a brown bag, so that’s what I should watch for next time. Heck! I don’t have time to memorize what food comes in what bag or box from each fast food restaurant. They just need to up their game and get it right the first time and be gracious and make it right if they mess up. At no time did they offer a discount or a free meal or any courtesy to make up for my trouble of having to go back - my fast food ended up costing me an hour. The food is good! Just check and make sure they have gotten your order right before you drive away.

Must be under new ownership again!! This place has changed hands quite a few times from phenomenal to really bad back to phenomenal and back to really bad. Everything was freezer burned and had a grey tinge to it, the beef was thin and also freezer burned. Nothing was fresh!! Back to bad!! I'm so tired of COVID and how it literally has destroyed the restaurant industry! Seems to be a never ending battle!!!

I went to this cafe years ago it sucked! So I thought I ‘ll try it again. Went through drive thru. The lady was really impatient, I have an issue with my voice so I can’t really get my words out clearly or loud. Got the food. Came home egg rolls were VERY greasy, could eat them. Sweet and sour pork 1 bite spit it out couldn’t chew it. My wife took a bite and spit it out. It was unflavored shoe leather. The was ok. The veggies were ok but the sauce was unfavorable. There you go and no I won’t go there again. What a waste of money and time. 👎🏻

Since my family and I have been frequent customers of China Grill for years—sometimes even several times a week—last night, we went in to dine. I ordered the same meal that I always order, and most of the servers know what we order before we ask. However, rather than receiving excellent customer service, we were informed that the meal was only available for lunch. When I tried to speak with the manager, she was really impolite and informed us that, despite working there for more than 30 years, we had never been able to order food.Our purpose in going there was to eat, not to argue. I looked at my credit card statement today and saw that we spent more than $700 this year.

General Tso's chicken was good.

The last time I went here the food was terrible! I decided to try it again tonight because I was craving Chinese, and they could only improve from the last time, but what a huge mistake! The food got even worse! I got a dinner combo for one and a side of ham fried rice. The rice had about two pieces of ham in it, no eggs and was bland as hell! The orange chicken was cold and it appears that they cooked the pot stickers in the microwave. I'm beyond disappointed! I want my 24 dollars back! I'll never eat at the china grill again! Go across the street and grab a taco! Steer clear of the china grill. They really don't care about the quality of their food anymore! It truly is the worst Chinese food I've ever had!

The staff was very welcoming upon entering. We ordered “Togo” but the inside seating looked plentiful and clean. Food quality is excellent and you get your money’s worth. Food was hot and tasty (flavorful). They are able to accommodate for both the meat eaters and vegetarians. Would recommend trying. Price point is a little high but again meals can be shared.

Good food, not too expensive. I little pressure to order but the service was ok.

The lo mein side was surprisingly excellent. The egg rolls tasted alright. The atmosphere was excellent, and the service was outstanding.

My family and I have been eating at china Grill for years and sometimes several times a week, Last night we went in to eat , I ordered my same meal I always order , Most of the servers know what we order before asking, But instead of good customer service we were told we couldn't order our normal choice and the meal was only available for lunch, Tried talking to the manager , She was beyond rude and told us of being there 30 plus years and We have never been able to order the meal...We went there for a meal, Not an argument. Today I took the time to look on my Credit card statement ,and this year we spent over 750 bucks at this place. I Think I'm a pretty good customer and in light of them raising prices , and simply not allowing a person to order off of there menu, and being as ignorant as possible, The manager has won.We left and will never return until the time she is no longer employed there. Makes me sad...

Just after 5 days….. it was bad experience to me

The food was good, I had the cashew chicken lunch combo, the egg drop soup was good and the cream cheese wontons were ok. Overall the experience was fine not really a place I think I'd make a point to go again.

We had passed by this restaurant s-o many times! But few months ago we went to try them out for the first time, and since then been there couple of time :) We tried almost half of the menu items already. Everything tasted good (taste wise I would give them 4 stars) but not a big fan of their pho though. Its a small but very neat & clean restaurant. Looks family owned (I might be wrong though). All the staff are very nice. I really like the amount of food I get for the price I pay for each items. Another wonderful thing is their Frequent Diner’s Card…you get one free item after $100.

Great place for a quick lunch service is awesome, some items on the menu are a bit on the bland side but the sweet and spir pork with traditional sauce is amazing.

This place was the bomb. Great quality and quantity of food. I got the orange chicken with ham fried rice and wontons and I gotta say it was by far the best I’ve had. My partner got chicken teriyaki stir fry with ham fried rice and egg rolls which she equally enjoyed. Will be making this place our new go to for Chinese food. Thank you!!

Highly recommend! Food is great, and a nice atmosphere. Two things to note, there is a drive thru, which is a plus. The food is also portioned in a way that you could order a couple dishes and share. The mango chicken, and lemon chicken were both phenomenal.

This place is next to where my girlfriend lives and I love it. I love that they have a drive thru that you can order your food and get it fast and fresh (be careful because your food will be extremely hot at first). The individual running the dive thru was very polite and the food tasted amazing!

Food was delicious and fresh, there was a friendly atmosphere. It was heartwarming to see that a table paid for some sweet older ladies behind us. The server was so kind and helpful. I would reccomend this place and the lunch menu!

Fresh, fast, hot, and good portions. The orange and general chicken were crispy crunchy and not soggy, each bite had a good chunk of chicken as well.

Nice little Chinese restaurant. We went to dinner on a Thursday evening and were seated quickly. Everything we ordered was cooked perfect. Vegetables were still crisp and flavorful. The meat was tender. The staff were quick to serve. We look forward to going again.

This is by far my favorite Chinese restaurant in town. The food is FANTASTIC and still totally reasonably priced. Their fried rice is to die for. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Excellent Chinese food and the first place I’ve been to in SLC where you can taste the wok hay - for those not familiar, it’s the distinct flavor and aroma one gets from cooking in a wok. I love that there’s a drive-thru option, and the food was fantastic. It was so good, I forgot to snap some pics. We got the pork lo mein and salt baked chicken. The lo mein was great with actual bbq pork bits in it which had great flavor and added a lot to the dish. The salt baked chicken was very tasty with a salty, savory flavor mixed with onion and garlic. Super good! Can’t wait to go back!

Fantastic place!! Quality, quantity and quick service surpassed our expectations. Just delicious. I ordered the Szechuan chicken and noticed a few delightful pieces of fresh ginger. Who even uses that anymore, especially at a little unassuming drive through Chinese restaurant? Definitely recommend.

Food...very good, as usual. Service , good. What we didn't like was for the staff to be vacuuming towards the end of our meal. We could not hear each other talk.

I really enjoy this place. I always call to pickup and the food is usually done in 10-15 min. The food is always hot and fresh when I get home (live 5 min away) and the quality is second to none. My go to for Chinese.

This place is awesome. They are a little slow to get the take out orders ready but their food is well worth the wait. We ordered the dinner for two $20.00 and still had enough leftover for the next day. Very good food at a reasonable cost all served with friendly smiles!

I asked my Chinese students where their parents like to eat Chinese food. This restaurant was mentioned several times. The food isn't authentic Chinese. It's very Americanized. Located on the east side of the valley, I can see why. The food was bland and did not look appealing. I came with my family, mother, and brother. We were not impressed and probably not coming back.

China Grill is consistent with great food. The owner and other employees are nice and strive to do a good job. We go out of our way to eat there.

I really like this place! Is it the best Chinese food I've ever had? No, but for the price it is the best Chinese food I've ever had. Usually when the food is this affordable it's not very good but I can say that I will come here over and over again. go ahead and try different things because there are all sorts of yummy things to try, the menu has a lot of options... The service is excellent as well! Also good sized portions.
