I like it a lot, it's rich quickly

I’ve ate here a few times, the first time it was very good, the second time I ate her I found hair in my food 🤢. I just recently ate here and got food poisoning. This used to be a good place but has gone down hill and I don’t recommend eating here.

Excellent chicken broccoli, beef lo mein, and wontons!, The boneless spareribs are pretty good too.

Food is a notch above most Chinese restaurants. Service quick as well.

This place has been opened for 10+ years and the food never disappoints, although the place is little dingy. The people there are super friendly and they are really accommodating for food preferences. I like to adjust certain dishes as I'm a picky eater and it's always great. Although not authentic, this is the best Chinese food around.

The shrimp egg rolls are delicious! 😋 Service was very quick. Only 10 minutes waiting. The place is clean and the lady taking my order was nice! The prices are reasonable and the food was great! 👍 I ordered the General Chiao with vegetable fried rice.

Food varies from time to time. This time everything was delicious and very tasty. Take out place.

We were there before 3 but staff is to busy talking and then wouldn't give us the lunch special price. Walk Out not worth the rudeness.

Standard looking Chinese restaurant. Food is real above par. Gen Tsao's is really good. Crispy batter, great sauce, spicy. Not too but..more than most places. Hunan Beef, also spicier than most, not real hot. Vegetables nice a crisp, fresh. They said 15 min, it was ready in 15 min. Pan fried dumplings, great.

Got the noodles in the peanut sauce, delicious! The teriyaki chicken skewers were so tender and tasty as well. Generous portions.

To be fair I seldom order Chinese but we were hungry and I wanted something different. Typical Chinese food in my opinion with the usual offerings. Place is definitely COVID sanctioned, you don't come into contact with employees at.all. If you enjoy Chinese I'm sure this is great.

I was thinking it looks a little shabby but I guess you can’t judge a book by it’s cover because this Chinese restaurants sauces are by far my favorite. I love their popcorn shrimp and beef with mixed veggies.

This place is quick, and inexpensive. They have pretty good Chinese food and finger snacks. You can eat in or get take out. The help is friendly.

The food was delicious and super quick. Tried the subway in the same parking lot and they only had white bread and were pretty much out of everything. This place HAS everything on the menu and it was so fast. If you eat there it would be the best. Super fresh, and pipin hot.

The best in the area and probably the best I have had. We regularly get dumplings, wontons, hot and sour soup, general tso's tofu, and house lo mein. Tried the egg foo young for the first time once and loved it.

I've had food here about 4 times.... Sometimes it's good(for a take out place) and sometimes not so much. Simply not consistent at all! To be clear, I'm not saying it's aweful, just sometimes it's a seven and sometimes it's a three.

First time here. Sesame Chicken, Egg Rolls and Ribs were Very GOOD, but the fried rice had no flavor. Definitely worth stopping for lunch and dinner! We will definitely be back!

It looks like a nothing place, but they keep putting out very good Chinese food and a very reasonable price. Don't be put off by the setting.

This is our go to Chinese take out. For gatherings, here or at friends, we always get multiple orders of the fried pork dumplings and a few orders of the vegetarian dumplings. There are NEVER any left.

The staff here are very nice people! This restaurant has a few tables it is mostly Chinese take out but so much better than others I've had, good quality food fresh veggies and low prices too! Although not great egg rolls the boneless ribs are the best!!

I have ordered take out from here many, many times and have not been disappointed. My food is always fresh and delicious. I love their General Tso's Chicken and their eggrolls and hot and sour soup but I plan on trying everything on their menu!

China Royale in East Haddam is the best there quick have excellent food and service I'm here almost every day getting a little something!! I would recommend it to anybody!

Nice behavior with cheap price. It's not a Halal food place but there is shrimp and Chow Mein type food to live.

Great choice in Chinese take out or eat in. Place is small and located next to a martial arts studio. Friday nights can be busy, expect a wait but the food is worth it.

Don't be scared off by the dingy storefront in the run down strip mall next to the run down martial arts studio and guys smoking outside the tattoo studio. This place has excellent Chinese takeout. Fresh ingredients, well prepared, fast service, nice family runs the place. I think they tone down the heat a little for the wussy New England palate, so ask for or add spice if that's your thing.

Place is very affordable and a must buy locally for chinease food. There is no other choices but even if I did I would still go there.

Nos sentimos como tener chino llamado a la orden para llevar: la comida estaba preparada cuando llegamos y sabroso, pedimos una comida para dos - descrito como y había un montón de comida. La casa arroz frito era buena, un poco diferente, pero mandaron blanco en vez de color marrón, lo que yo había pedido con la comida - pero no es gran cosa. Creo que la calidad está allí, y las raciones son buenas, así que intentaremos de nuevo. Me hubiera gustado que trajeran, pero quizá sería demasiado lejos! ! Recomiendo este pequeño lugar.

Solid Chinese, good for hangovers and lazy evenings where you don't want to cook. I don't understand why people give Chinese food three stars but say it's good, it's American Chinese lol, it's not supposed to be better than decent! These are some super nice folks here as well, always smiles with their greetings. Definitely stop in for standard Chinese food experience.

This is my go-to place for takeout on my way home from work. Lots of tasty dishes prepared fresh to order.

I like Chinese and spicy food, so when I saw that they had Curry I had to try it. I was not disappointed, I passed this information on to another friend and he goes there every week for the curry. Definitely a take out place so order ahead of time and take it home.

We have been ordering from The China Royal Restaurant since it opened. The staff is courteous, quick, and helpful. We've always ordered the takeout since they only have a few tables to sit at inside. We order off of their reasonable menu and in 20 minutes we are delighted to pick up our comfort food. The wontan mixed egg drop soup is our first item along with the egg roles. We also order the Pu Pu platter for two or the General Tso's chicken from the combination menu. Order enough for dinner tonight and lunch tomorrow, the people at work will be jealous of you!
