The staff was absolutely amazing. Stopped in after seeing them show support for the new Society Hill Hotel opening and knew I had to make my way there. Everyone who helped was incredibly kind and friendly. One mentioned unfortunately they don't have flights (my one recommendation!) but offered samples to try since it was my first visit. Loved the Wissahickon & Strawberry and decided to have a glass there and a 4-pack to go.

we always have the best time every time we come here! the cider is delicious, the peach cobblestone drink is amazing and all the small plates are to die for! the service and vibes are also a 10/10 and we look forward to every next visit!

The cider is delightful and is not loaded with sugar/filled with natural deliciousness. The owners, Matt and Kim, are the sweetest people who care about what they are serving and their customers. Super cute and intimate inside. Also obsessed with desert cheese plate they offer. What more could you ask for??

I’ve had Cider Belly in my sights for some time and finally made it there a couple weeks ago. In short, they didn’t disappoint! Between my wife and myself I think we tried/consumed all of the ciders they had on tap and left with a bottle as well. All the ciders were awesome! The owners were also awesome. Engaging. Informative. Knowledgeable. The small bites were also good. Although we live approximately 30 minutes from Cider Belly, we’re adding it to our regular rotation of great places to go in the Philly area. Highly recommended!!!

Thoroughly enjoyed my visit to this intimate space in Chestnut Hill, Philadelphia. Delicious dry cider served in a relaxing bar with a small food menu. A definite favorite that I highly recommend. The cider is delicious. I have never been a hard cider fan but cider belly changed my mind. The lite bites are yummy. Staff are lovely. Excellent hospitality.

The owners are doing a killer job here. Having more cider options in the area is great, and the snacks they offer are on the money. Both ciders we had were tasty and the hot/cold smoked trout dish was perfect. I can’t wait to hang out here in the summer and have some crisp ciders made locally

Wonderful service. Came in 20 min before closing (apple maps was wrong and said they close 2 hrs later), but they made sure we ordered a drink and enjoyed it. Great people, great cider.

This is everyone’s absolute favorite place in Chestnut Hill now! We are really into ciders and tend not to like many that we try but we have loved every single one at Cider Belly. But don’t forget the cocktails and food because they are fantastic too! The owners make each person who goes in feel at home. They did a beautiful job designing the space. We’ve needed a place like this in CH for a long time and we’re so happy they are here. Don’t forget to take home a growler! Pairs well with everything, especially burritos ;)

My son and his GF brought us here as part of our 29th anniversary weekend. What an awesome spot! We really enjoyed the vibe, the ciders, and the nibbles. The owners a really passionate and enthusiastic. It was wonderful to hear their story. Come and visit Cider Belly!! You won't be disappointed.

Cider Belly has a delicious selection of made-in-house dry ciders and thoughtfully-curated snack boards worth traveling for. The atmosphere is that of a cozy cafe, rather than a tasting room - although that’s exactly what it is. Cider Belly Hard Cider is conveniently located on Germantown Ave. in Chestnut Hill - a ~20ish minute ride from Center City and conveniently located near multiple public transportation options. When I entered, I was quickly and pleasantly greeted by Kim, 1/2 of the husband and wife co-owners of Cider Belly. There’s something super special and incredibly intimate about business owners that work in-house; Matt and Kim, who serve and wait tables at Cider Belly weekly, are clearly proud to stand behind their pleasantly refreshing ciders and tasty menu of nibbles for good reason. When you’re here, grab a carafe (or two) of their signature Wissahickon Cider. Get yourself a cheese board or their scrumptious smoked trout to share. They have a couple seasonal cocktails as well as N/A options if you’re not into cider. But if you are, don’t miss their seasonal Autumn Harvest Cider - it’s a perfectly spiced treat that feels like Fall with every sip.

I’ve been to Cider Belly twice, and am going again tomorrow! Ive tried the classic and cider with ginger and lime and both are so much better than any cider I’ve tried before. I also had the cheese board which was generously portioned and so delicious. Desuana was our server both times and was so sweet and efficient. Can’t wait to be back!

Cider Belly is a gem in Chesnut Hill! The cider is top-notch, the staff is incredibly friendly, and the service is fast. The ambiance is lovely, making it one of my favorite new places in the area. If I could give this a 10/5, I would! Matt and Kim, the owners, are lovely and incredibly hands-on in managing the place. Their hard work doesn’t go unnoticed. From the food to each cider, it’s some of the most delicious items in the area. A shining star on their section of the hill.

Very cute spot with tasty ciders. They have a few small plates to enjoy with your ciders and I just think that's neat. Impressive "nibble board" that was a big cheese plate. Looking forward to seeing them grow. 🍎

We absolutely adore Cider Belly. This new spot quickly became a favorite for us. The cider is fantastic, the petite plates are so thoughtfully curated, and the team is composed of the kindest folks ever. It's also such a beautiful space to be in. Truly a gem in the city!

Great new cider spot! The ciders are not too sweet, which is perfect for anybody that has been hesitant about trying ciders for fear of them being overly sugary. The food is really good too. The staff are friendly and attentive. The owners are really nice and have some cool plans for the business. Definitely a place you should check out.

An excellent introduction to hard cider! I had a glass of the Willow Grove (a delightful peach flavor) and also sampled the first Discovery Series (made with plumbs and raspberries). The owners Matt and Kim are the sweetest and have exciting events planned for the future. So grateful to have Cider Belly Hard Cider in the community!

My husband I tried Cider Belly tonight and were so impressed with the drinks, food, service, and atmosphere. We sat at the bar and were pleasantly surprised to find live music. The vibe is really relaxed and comfortable. We enjoyed cider and small bites - try the cheese board and the smoked trout (both were delicious!). It's nice to have a new neighborhood place. We'll be back soon.

This was my first time trying hard cider and I loved it. The atmosphere; the owners, a husband and wife team; our server Eli; and the bathroom was clean (a dirty bathroom is a deal breaker for me), everything about Cider Belly was top notch. The inside seating area is so cute, they have a small bar area and seating for about 30+ people. This establishment is a great rental space for small get togethers. Add this cider bar to your places to visit.

Really enjoyed our afternoon stop here after shopping in Chestnut Hill. I’m not a big beer drinker but the Covered Bridge beer was excellent and so refreshing. The Nibbler small plate was a great accompaniment. Staff is so friendly and welcoming. Will definitely return! Check it out

Opening day was wild! So many people came to see you and try your amazing craft pours and petite plates. The interior is so gorgeous, the cider is exceptional, and the infusions of mostly all local products (food/drinks) is awesome. The owners are the nicest people you’ll ever meet.

Some friends and I got to check out Cider Belly Hard Cider at Maple Acres farm this past weekend. The weather was a little so-so but Matt and Kim really brightened up the day with their delicious ciders and wonderful personalities. I look forward to being able to pick up some of their ciders in stores because I was only able to pick up a few Christmas gifts so far!

Great hard cider. Twice hopped is my fav. But Original and Cinnamon are also fantastic. Tastes even better knowing the owners are great people!

Let me start off by saying I was not a huge cider guy by any means. I primarily drank beer socially because none of the ciders out there really kept my interest. That is when I stumbled upon Cider Belly at a local farm. They had a tent set up, handing out samples and giving the rundown of each different cider. Matt and Kim were possibly the nicest people I’ve ever met. They were extremely knowledgeable, and in that, you could tell that they had a passion for creating a great product to share with everyone. The Cider was light and flavorful and I would highly recommend it to anyone from hardcore cider enthusiasts, to beer guys like myself.

Tastes better than any Hard Cider on the market right now!

This is one of the better ciders around. Well balanced and a pleasure to drink. Such quality for early offering of a new cider. Pairs well with many foods but also perfect for having on its own. The hopped cider is exceptional in the choice of hops and the amount used.. Expecting continued high quality and new ciders to try in the future. So very glad to been able to try.
