Wednesday night.. Music bingo.. Rocks

Hubby and I were looking for a “Mom and Pop” place! The Country Store was definitely our place! The Reuben sandwich was one of the Best we have ever had! They make the sauce in house, it was divine! The atmosphere was laid back and very hospitable!

Good food, Music bingo on Wed,. Karaoke on Froday nights, good bands and dancing on Sat. Two pool tables. ,tv for sports and Rodeo.

If you’re looking for a great ‘hike in the wall’ place to either sit and have a few cold beers with the locals OR you’re looking for a great burger or Rueben sandwich, this is the place for you. Wife and I stopped in for a late lunch and the Rueben was awesome! Of course I forgot to take a pic until half way thru. She had a cheeseburger that rated with the best of them. Definitely a place to return

The wings slap, especially the teriyaki ones. Very tender. I liked the cheesy fries but I felt the portion was really small for the price ($10). I've also had the burgers, fried mushrooms, and normal fries here before and really liked them. Just wish they served a cocktail or two. The place is really fun when there's karaoke night or a game going on.

Great burgers and great service. They went above and beyond by ordering cigarettes for me that I haven't been able to find anywhere else. Good people

Best wings I've ever had. The meat is very tender and falls right off the bone. If I had to have one complaint is that the portion of fries is small, which is sad because their fries are amazing.

This place is super neat! I got the sampler appetizer and it was delicious! Old country feeling here, these kind of places are hard to find. Awesome little country store! They even spread cornmeal on the dance floor 😉

If you are a food connoisseur you need to stop by and get a double meat cheeseburger hands down one of the best burgers in Texas.

Are you looking for a good country hole in the wall...well this is it. The staff (Dolly) is awesome and funny. Great service. Big, juicy hamburgers, made by Sissy. Beer is cold and cheap. Two pool tables, good ambiance, could use more consistent music. If you're passing by Cistern TX, stop here, you won't be disappointed!

Favorite lunch stop in the area. Great burgers and appetizers. Amazing BBQ on the 1st Saturday of every month. Value can't be beat, and they know regulars by name.

Ms. Betty and (her Daughter) Taffy were Amazing Women to Meet and they are the "type of people" that makes you stop to see them every time you pass through town. I would gladly tell anyone headed towards San Antonio; to stop and have a bite to eat and a drink (of any sort) to visit with them. Tell them that Shane & Melissa from SRB loved their Mountain Oysters! lol
