Great luncheon with some nice people. The waitress gave excellent service! Food was very good. We had a great time.

Fun gathering places for food and good conversation.

The jalapeno coleslaw is fantastic. An unexpected treat. The two meals we ordered were great. Our server was very attentive.

This restaurant doesn't even deserve one star. Rude staff, especially when busy. It takes at least 10 minutes to be noticed at the bar. Too many people in the building on busy nights with live music and it definitely violates codes as people are shoulder to shoulder and packed in like sardines. Therefore no wheelchairs are able to move around freely. Food is overpriced for being so mediocre. Don't recommend at all.

Ordered take out wings. Recieved 7 wing sections at a cost of $16.26. I was told it was a 1lb. Serving. Raw Wings at Sam’s club are 2.84 per lb. This is a 571% mark up. Also wing section are typically 8 to 12 pieces per pound. Underserved and over priced

Tried the Osso Bucco and Chicken Pot Pie, but found them way too salty to enjoy. Great atmosphere for drinks and fun; will stick to that for my visits.

We came in late on a Friday and the bar was hopping. Hubby had the black bean burger w jalapeño Cole slaw and I had the Cuban with French onion soup. Both were excellent. I also had the raspberry lemon martini and it was superb. There was a live band and the were fantastic. Really really loud. We were glad we sat outside with the exception of having to sit near folks that smoked. Other than that the server was wonderful and we really enjoyed our evening.

This is a great place to have dinner, drinks and a good time.

We've lived in the Brownwood area since 2014. We always like the food and atmosphere at City Fire in Brownwood. I have to say this evening our food and service was spectacular!!! Even better than ever before. I think they have a new Manager ? He was very friendly and cared if we had a Good experience. My beef short ribs were so lean and delicious!!! Cheers to the Chef !!!

Wife & I loved this place. Great food. And you can enjoy your drinks at a large beautiful bar inside or out. We'd like to especially thank Tavis for taking such good care of us. Awesome bartender! Thank you Tavis!

This was our first time at this location and we were impressed. The food was hot and delicious. The service was amazing and our server, Savanna, was excellent!!! The only bad thing was the "entertainment" on the patio.....the guy was off key and not good at all.

It was great, both indoor and outdoor dining areas are great. Great crowd, great service. It's a great place to just stop for a beer.

Went to City Fire today at 5pm we were seated for 10 minutes and Noone came over spoke to hostess told her and she said someone will be right over watched her she did nothing waited 4 minutes more and got up and left spoke to her again and states whatever. Great service never will go back again .

Food, Flatbread was great!! Kevin, our waiter was the BEST!

Just took my uncle and grandmother to lunch and did not leave on an enjoyable note. Our server was curt and not very approachable. They did not put in our nacho appetizer order so our main food order came out with no mention of it. Flatbread and salad were enjoyable but the burger was bland and undercooked slightly in the middle so we left it. My guest just wanted to leave so we paid and I took them to five guys so they could have something quick to eat before heading home.

Very good food, the service was not exceptional but I think they were just understaffed as our server was very friendly and helpful.

Great service food lacked some flavor

My partner and I share the black and blue flatbread, which was delicious. This was the Sumter landing location.

Amazing bartender. Server not so much. Had some happy hour flatbread. Food was great! The bartender was better than our server. Great stop tho!

The sumter location was definitely alot better. The decor here needs updating. Also, our waiter was not good. He was not friendly or very attentive. We received jalapeños on our pizza that we didn't order and he didn't even care. Not running back there anytime soon.

City fire is an absolute must visit. Our favorite city fire is the one in sumpter landing.... you have to get the SIZZLE CHIPS, they are to die for. They are kettle chips served on a HOT SKILLET then covered with crumbled blue cheese and caso added and smothered on top.... OH MY WHAT A TREAT!!

I love everything about it accepts the smoking allowed on the patio. I know there's nothing they can do about it but it's a real deterrent. The place gets packed because the food is awesome. Best pot pie ever!

Great dogs, and the waitress was excellent. Only thing was they had know fries! Overall I will be back 😄

Delicious food in a friendly, efficient atmosphere.

Hallie our server along with every other staff member we interacted with were absolutely great! Inside was too loud for us with their DJ so we opted to sit out on the patio. We ordered the Tuna Tartare for an app and it was delicious! It was a good amount for two people to share and a great start to the meal. Our entrees were an Italian Sausage Sub Sandwich and a Cuban Flatbread Sandwich. The Italian Sausage had a good level of spicy without being too overwhelming, and the sausage combined with the onions and peppers complemented each other. The side of tomato basil soup was phenomenal as well. The Cuban was unique being on a Flatbread but the taste was amazing, especially dipped in the tomato soup. The side of jalapeños coleslaw was a new experience and one that we really enjoyed! Beverages were the "Reef Donkey" mango flavored beer and a plan monitor that we also enjoyed. Hallie was phenomenal in answering our questions, making great suggestions, checking on us often, and providing prompt service. When we are in the area in the future we plan on stopping by again!

Server and food was great, manager was awful. Sat our group of six, with a two year old and a seven year old, directly in front of the stage. When the manager came over, after three of our six left, “I can move you outside and I’m sorry we sit larger groups in this area.” I tried getting him to understand this is clearly a training opportunity with his host group and it was too late to rectify the issue with moving our table. He said he already told me sorry and it wasn’t like he could tell the band to stop. A simple free drink or discount for the inconvenience as part of a way to actually say sorry would have worked, but the “I said sorry” response showed a complete lack of empathy and training.

Haven't tried the food just the beer and live music

For our party of 6, this was the first time for only my bride and me. We started with drinks at the bar as we waited for a table. The atmosphere was relaxed and energized. Once seated and having perused the menu, I found multiple items I wanted to try and all at very reasonable prices! Our server, Sky, was a delight and took very good care of us. I ordered some wings for our table and I will admit I have had better but they were uniquely well seasoned and a great starter. For my meal, I opted for the Cajun Shrimp Pasta. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal that I cannot wait to return. It is not often I come across a meal such as this but this one had the right amount of texture, creaminess, seasonings, and perfectly flavorful grilled shrimp. Great job City Fire!

We had the French Dip sandwich. Omg was it the best I have had....YES

We waited about 20 minutes for the wait person to come to our table. We observed her and a other wait person standing in front of the serving window the entire time we were waiting. Was about to leave when she decided to come over. Once there all went well. Food was ok.

REALLY disappointed by my first visit here. Sign at the hostess stand said "Please wait to be seated" but after 10 minutes of standing in line with no sign of a hostess, I took my chances and made my way to the bar. Once seated, the barmaid simply refused to make eye contact with me or anyone else who did not already have a drink in their hand. A second barmaid did provide a quick hello and a menu, but seemed to forget all about me over the next 10 minutes. Feeling even more thirsty and hungry, I pushed my way from the bar and headed over to Gators, where, at the very least, they seemed happy to seat AND serve me. In fairness, it was the end of Bike week, the place WAS crowded, and they did appear to be short-handed, but that is no excuse for your service people to completely ignore patrons. Would I try them again? Probably, but I won't be as patient next time.

Stopped in for lunch, and the service was great! Amy, our server, was super friendly, able to make recommendations, and made sure we had everything we needed without hovering. Hubby ordered the recommended French dip and French onion soup. He said both were really good. I ordered the cheeseburger, medium rare, and it came out cooked perfectly. If you go, ask to sit in Amy's section. She was amazing, and I loved her laugh.

Best food around. BLACK & BLUE Stone flat is a banger! Norwegian Salmon is a master piece work of art opera for your tongue & body. If you get a food buzz like I do from amazing dishes...this is the place to chase the food buzz!

Been there for lunch had a salad it was good. Last week we stopped in for dinner got in just before there was a wait to be seated. My short rib dinner was Very salty, everyone else enjoyed their meals. Waitress never stopped by after the food arrived, she was not a very good Waitress. Generally I leave a healthy tip, not this time, bad service bad tip my new policy. Some of my tips are more than the meal, not this time.

The food was okay, not great. They told us there was a long wait and asked if we wanted to sit outside. They mentioned heaters and screens but nothing else. After a few minutes, we started to smell smoke and realized that you could smoke by the outside tables. With the screens down, the smoke just hung around. The service was slow and the crowd loud and roudy. We would have left sooner but th3pe check took forever. Seemed like more of a party place than a restaurant.

It was my daughter’s 26 birthday celebration and we met up at City Fire. The waitress was so friendly and on point with following up with us. So glad we went here!

My family and I went to City Fire to have a nice lunch. Unfortunately, while there seem to be lots of people working there, nobody seemed to have any interest in seating us. The people ahead of us said they had been waiting for quite some time. So we bailed and had a wonderful lunch elsewhere.

Excellent black and blue flat, bread, good happy hour beer prices. Would be 5 stars but no daily specials we seniors like to see. It's a little pricey but definitely one of my favorite places around here.

Good crowd on Friday and Saturday nights and the food is excellent also a very good live bands starting at 7 p.m.

Visited on a Monday late afternoon. The service was very good. The food was just average- we had the french dip and the cod sandwich. The french dip was somewhat tasteless. The cod was a nice size portion on a bun and was good. Not sure the quality of the food is up to the price they charge.

One of the absolute WORST places in Sumter county. Good food yes, but take it from a old employee that place is disgusting! Don't order anything with chicken in it. They have a prep cook that is special needs and he drools in all of his prepped food. Management and other staff members are all aware of this and nothing has been done. The owner is a joke he belongs being a rodeo clown. The back of the house is disgusting. Flys, roaches and freezers that don't work. If anyone has anything else they would like to know about City Fire in Brownwood, I would be glad to inform everyone of the disgusting things that go on there that Kaene (the manager) know about.

It's casual, comfort food. Have eaten their multiple times. Service is always very good and attentive. Food is consistently good. It can get very loud at times. I still can't figure out why these places allow smoking at the bar. FYI: bars are inside outside. They allow it outside, but the smell still comes in. Solid place to grab a bite to eat.

A bit pricey and need to add to the menu. It seems it was downsized.

Visiting The Villages for two weeks, we are at City Fire locations 3 Times! ( And there are a lot of eateries in The Villages)! The gluten free flatbread were excellent, the burgers, wedge salad, strawberry salad and fish n chips all deserve high marks. The clam chowder as well

Everything’s is great except the men’s bathroom’s which need the floor cleaned hourly. Always the floor is covered w piss that one has to walk in. The dirtiest restrooms ever.

Went with my daughter & grandkids for lunch and we sat outside. I'll start out by saying the food was really good. But the sevice... ehhh. It could use a little work. It was blatantly obvious that our server, Allie, was not very happy we had children there. She made several comments starting with telling us she would be back for our drink order because she had to inform her other tables that she had a table with kids & it will probably take awhile. We already knew what drinks we wanted, but she was almost arguing that she had to go inform her other tables. When she finally came back for our food order she made the comment that she was one of six, I know kids can take awhile, that why they never took us anywhere. She then said that she's been doing this a long time, so I know how kids are. The food was good, we like the patio, until they put a cigarette at a high top table right behind us & the smoke was coming directly towards us as we were eating, which was disgusting and we & kids shouldn't have to breath that while eating lunch. If you allow smoking, guests should be informed that it permitted on the patio.

Went there Tuesday night about 9 pm with a small group of people. We waited 10 minutes for a waitress and then drinks took forever. I walked to the bar and asked if there was a problem and the young lady with a nose ring chewed my a**. We left and went elsewhere. Won't be back.
