Answer the phone. The workers in the evening straight up put the phone on mute and ignore all calls. Yea, we watched y’all do it. Otherwise, great food. The cooks in the back are great.

Delicious food, pleasant atmosphere and very friendly staff.

Got the spanakopita plate. Excellent, served fresh, about 5 minutes after ordering. Salad was delicious and fresh with a light lemon dressing. Hubby got lamb over couscous that was also perfect. Only detractor, very loud echoing restaurant.

Ordered on DoorDash and was surprised at how small, despite the large styrofoam containers, the portions were. Food was between 7.5 and 8 out of 10.

Overall, this place is all right. If you're looking for Mediterranean food in the middle of the desert, look no further. There's better Greek places in town, but other than that this is the only option you really have. Their food is good, their service is quick, and it's generally not too packed as long as you're not there on a weekend. Honestly, the Cleopatra plate is the prize dish, but they're spanakopita is not too bad.

Not great food. As far as Mediterranean food goes, this is below average. The rice is bland, the humus is watery and doesn’t taste good. There are a lot of Greek/Mediterranean restaurants where I’m from and the worst of those is better than this. Also they forgot part of our order and didn’t include any plastic ware. Steer clear.

I came for the first time to Santa Fe and I wanted to try mediterranean food and came to this restaurant. I agree with one review saying that the food is not or hS not much seasoning. To truly be a mediterranean food I would say it is missing too much season and flavour that you can not say it has the distinction of mediterranean food. I will try another restaurant next time.

The food was terrible. The absolute worst Mediterranean food I've ever had. The food was NOT hot. The Egyptian moussaka did not taste fresh, and it was served warm. The spankopita was warm and had a strong oil flavor that overpowered the actual taste of spankopita. To make it worse, there was a strand of black hair on my plate, and my husband found a plastic butterfly bead in the tabbuoleh. The Greek salad was nothing special.. no taste. The falafel tastes like it was prefrozen and just heated up in a microwave. It was all a disappointment... the only thing that tasted decent was the fried potatoes and hummus. Also, the baba ghanoush from the King Tut plate was missing. This place was a complete disappointment. Plus, the dining hall is dark. You feel like you can't see anything... it's just dreary. I will never go back.

Update 7/1/2024 service has gone downhill big time. I have been coming here for almost 10 years to this same location. Last 3 times I ordered they have forgot something. It’s like the staff just does not care. Food has been mediocre the last couple of times, lamb was really dry the last 2 times.

We ate the lamb and beef kabobs and lamb gyro. It was what we expected. The place is clean with plenty of seating but not much atmosphere to speak of.

Food was OK. The pita bread was really fresh and tasted amazing. The rest of the food was sort of bland is all. The lighting inside was really dimly lit and was even hard to read the menus.

Food was delicious but it wasn't packed well. It spilled into the bag making a big mess.

I like to get takeout here, and the food is delicious. But I don’t like the idea that the person working the counter makes $3 an hour. When I get takeout, all they do is take my order and hand me my bag. Which is the same thing they do at McDonalds. And McDonalds workers at least get paid a livable wage. It makes me rethink coming back and ordering takeout because I feel pressured to leave a tip to an underpaid employee, for doing a basic task. Always love the food at Cleopatra's! The credit card machine wasn't working yesterday but the staff was friendly and apologetic. Luckily, I had cash and still got my food.

Not sure if we went on a bad day or what but our experience wasn’t that good. First and most important is that the food was bland, unseasoned rice, unseasoned tough lamb. It was just barely edible but the salad was good. The service was non existent, two girls on their phones who couldn’t care less that we were there, probably because we were the only people there. I would never recommend or return to this place.

This place is amazing! It is a smaller place in a large parking lot, near other businesses. We expected it to be so-so, at best. It was far above and beyond that. Mediterranean food is my favorite. We got a Gyro platter with Baba Ganoush and a side of hummus. Every bite was a piece of heaven. Don't question where to eat. Just go to Cleopatra's! Surprisingly perfect.

Mediterranean and Middle Eastern food is part of my natural pallete. I have to say, I was disappointed in the items I received. Tasteless and bland. Just didn't have that authentic taste of what this food is supposed to taste like. I mean, I wasn't like mad. I did eat the food and it was satisfactory to my hunger. Ultimately, I wouldn't return though.

I really like the food here, never had any kind of bad experience. One thing that makes no sense to me and just seems greedy and is honestly infuriating is that there is an up charge if substituting rice instead of pita bread. As if rice, basically the cheapest thing you can buy at the grocery store and requires almost no preparation compared to pita bread Would be more expensive than pita bread for the restaurant. it’s little things like that that really turned people against you as a business because it doesn’t actually make sense and it just seems like they’re trying to squeeze a penny anywhere they can out of the customer I understand up charging for more expensive ingredients but rice? Ridiculous.

I have been coming to Cleopatra's to get my Mediterranean fix for 15 years. The food never disappoints and I have tried almost everything on the menu. Large portions, good price, good service. Consistency between both locations too.

We order here at least once a month, they don’t do bulk so I order a bunch of sides for events, spending $100-150. Food is fine. Every time they leave a few things out of the order. Consistently enough that we always joke, who will be stiffed this time. Finally this order, we were missing meat and 12 oz of their version of tzatziki sauce. So I called to find if we could get our order, get it fixed, whatever. I was treated like trash and hung up on. I called back a few times to try and track down a manager and every time hung up on. So we are done with this place. So I’ve paid for something I did not receive, some might call this stealing. I recommend you take your money elsewhere, no one deserves to get treated like trash.

I ordered the Cairo chicken, which delicious. The side salad was pretty alright too. The dolmas were kind of soggy, I couldn't finish them. The mussel soup was delicious.

Cleopatra's Cafe is in a great location that is safe and also more than adequate free parking. The Cafe has a nice and cozy atmosphere for either a quick bite for lunch or a nice dinner. The staff was professional, courteous and helpful with recommendations for dining. The food had great presentation and tasted incredible. Don't let how busy the restaurant is discourage you from stopping by, the staff is quick to take your order and get your meal to you. Awesomely unique dining experience in Santa Fe.

This was a great stop for dinner on our trip. The restaurant itself is really dark (so dark that we weren’t sure it was open!) but the staff are friendly and fast, the dining area is clean and the food is excellent. I had the gyro plate, my aunt got the spanakopita plate and my mom got the pharaoh plate and we all enjoyed our food. Good Dr Pepper too!
