Stopped in here while passing through Edison. Friendly staff, cozy atmosphere, and coffee was very good.

This place is fantastic for studying and working. I love the coffee, and the staff is friendly.

whoever is making the pour over here knows what’s up- this is probably the best pour over in NJ. better than sey coffee in brooklyn. also booths for working for when you need to take a minute 😌

Had the best time! The employees gave great recommendations on what to drink when I couldn’t make up my mind. They made the experience very personal and cozy. I really appreciated it after a long day at work honestly. Coffee was pretty good and the atmosphere overall was great. Love the decor.

Barista was rude and didn’t have patience for us when we were taking time to order. We were so excited to try this place, incredibly sad. A different customer asked if the ac can be higher or a fan and the barista said “that’s not my problem” … what is that response. Never again.

This is a cute little coffee place located in a very peaceful and quiet locality. The ambience inside is very cozy. We ordered a cortado and a matcha latte. They were very good. They also have some options in croissants. We ordered a couple of them and they were actually quite tasty. However, they don't have a system to warm them up. So if you're getting one of the croissants, I'd recommend that you do take out and warm them up. Also, they have a printer one can use for printing documents. Highly surprising.

The drinks are delicious and the AC is on full blast. Coupled with the dark ambiance, makes for a great place for conversation and productivity.

I need to weigh in on the recent comments about the lack of AC at CLO. I've been a regular at CLO for more than 3 years and it is STILL the best coffee in the area! It is unfortunate that their AC broke during the recent heat wave, but they are actively working on a solution and (IMHO) it's disingenuous to give them a 1-star review for something that is totally out of their control. Small businesses like CLO should be supported and not ripped down due to an issue they have no control over... If you gave them a bad review because you don't like the coffee, thats one thing... but all these recent 1-star reviews are ridiculous. Ralph, Jen, and the crew are amazing people and talented baristas. I would go out of my way for a cup of CLO!

I based my visit off the reviews. Coffee was good but chocolate croissant looked and tasted like it was 3 days old. Stale and dry. Atmosphere feels cold and gloomy with dust everywhere. Bathroom unclean, faucet was rusted with an inch of limescale hanging on it. No paper towel. Workers were sitting on their phones prior to walk in. Smh. If you got time to lean you got time to clean. Not coming back.

Today i tried Clo for the first time. Barista was very rude and annoyed when i went and asked about menu items since there is no menu when you walk in only a short little paper. Then I waited a while for my coffee, very hot inside. Coffee was low grade not good and overpriced for a small. Will not come back

Atmosphere is trash given lack of AC in hot weather.

We are a regular customer of CLO. Unfortunately today the AC is not working and it’s pretty hard to sit in and do our regular meetings. Hope they fix this fast.

Great coffee and super friendly staff. Quick service in a clean and welcoming environment. The drinks are a bit small, but the quality makes up for it.

My 1 star review has nothing to do with not being able to give change of $100. The first time I went to Clo Coffee the service was amazing the coffee was great, and I have never received the same experience even after generously giving Clo several chances. I have stood around for over 10 minutes watching employees chit chat without so much as a Goodmorning. So you are right a 1 star review for merely not being able to provide change of a $100 bill would be unfair but that is not the case.

I placed an order for what I usually drink- an espresso with oatmilk, cold foam and wasn’t happy with how my drink turned out. It was bitter. The barista was super sweet and made me her personal favorite drink- something with French vanilla and cinnamon. It was sweet and cold, and made this experience much better! Appreciate the great service

Incredible service and fabulous coffee! Ralph and his team went over and above to help me with a company event. I can't say enough wonderful things about this spot! Taking coffee beans back home to CA as well!! 🥳💚🥰

Best coffee shop I have ever been to! The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. They know you by name after the first few visits and also know your order! My new favorite…iced matcha with a shot of vanilla, light ice! You ask and they ALWAYS deliver. And the owners, Jennifer and Ralph…If you see them, you wouldn’t even know they are the owners, the most KIND and modest people you will ever meet. Fortunately I visited this place and enjoyed the coffee and croissant here. Definitely a great place to sit and complete your work. They got good private cubicles and cabins for working with zero noise.

I am a coffee fanatic, the right type of beans, perfect temperature and meticulous balance is not just important, but more of a necessity. The owners are friendly and they treat their customers and employees as a friends, that creates a very warm and inviting vibe, and they have perfect working area and private room. This place is becoming my half office already. Thanks for providing excellent 6oz cappuccino every time.

Best espresso in the area and great vibes. Maple syrup flat white & mocha coconut latte are some favorites.

Perfect cappuccino. For starters, they don’t give you to-go cups when you dine in. It’s nice to pay what we pay and not drink from a paper cup and (wasteful) plastic top. The drink was perfect top to bottom, and the serving size was very generous. It was foamy, but had substance. I sipped on it for a good 20 minutes. I also liked the staff/ambience. It was “classy” but neither pretentious nor, even worse, “edgy” (someone please tell whatever wannabe hipster baristas remain out there that it’s 2024). They clearly just take pride in making good drinks (without taking themselves too seriously), and that pride is certainly warranted.

You shouldn’t need to wait 30 minutes for a coffee a simple mocha latte. 2 people staffed on a Saturday at 11 is bad. Decided to leave no coffee is worth that long of a wait. The woman making the coffee seemed to have no hustle and was taking way too long between making drinks.

I absolutely love the coffee here! I recommend the ice vanilla latte with oat milk and the everything croissant! Seating is a bit limited since people are working/studying there but overall a great place to get coffee!

Been coming here for years, such a cute little space and great atmosphere. Very kind staff!!! My only complaint is the chairs directly in front of the couch are so uncomfortable my back still hurts. But everything is great!!

Amazing coffee spot run by an amazing family. Deff my new favorite spot, makes every order with love which is probably why everything tastes so great!!! Love the flavor, depth, and experience all around. “iced matcha clo latte” is my go-to, but the chai-latte is something certainly levels above other places; based on my sisters’ opinions’! Certainly worth a try if you’re on the fence, you will NOT be disappointed. Been going for a while it and can’t think of one complaint. Honestly also a SUPERB local spot to get some school or business done if your home gets a little too “busy” at times 😂

I've been around the world many times and they have some of the best coffee I've ever had here. Try the hot latte in a mug, nowhere else gets the texture and flavor like they do

Driving around, I was looking for an awesome spot I could post and enjoy a decent cup of coffee. I stumble upon CLO and am glad I did. A Chai seems hard to find, and this one hit the spot!. The quality of the drink, food, and service only matched the awesome atmosphere. Will for sure keep coming back.

One of the best coffee shops in NJ. Almost mocha latte tastes just like an almond joy but isn’t too sweet either. Most importantly…their house blend beans are my number one coffee beans I’ve ever had. Yet to be topped. It’s my favorite beans to make iced coffee with at home . Customer service awesome and vibes is super chill.

Clo has been consistently amazing the last couple years they’ve been open for business. I love the atmosphere and quality of coffee. Although it is a bit on the pricier side, it has not stopped me from going there as it’s possibly the best latte I’ve ever had. Owner and staff are always super friendly. Always a lovely experience. Excellent coffee and tea. This place may be small and it may take a min to brew your drink, but that's because it is made with care and attention to detail. The Baristas know their stuff and know their customers. I wish I could go here more often.

This is the best coffee in town 😋 I drive 30 minutes just to have my mocha flat white 😋 the owners are amazing and treat you like family. If you think Starbucks is good you really need to give Clo a try and thanks me latter 😉

The service and atmosphere is quiet and beautiful. (As an aussie) The flat white was too milky and the espresso was not roasty enough to punch through that milkyness, but beautiful latte art!

Super friendly staff and expertly crafted coffee. Also a phenomenal spot for studying: plenty of seats and plugs available, and wonderful lighting to match the aesthetic. The owners have done an incredible job with everything and have cultivated a welcoming space for all, can't recommend them enough. :)
