Food was amazing like honestly they really cooking their food with love!. Fresh and seasoned really good. Jerk chicken was falling of the bone the rice and peas was amazing. Plaintains melt in your mouth.

I read that Coconutz had plenty of vegan/vegetarian options, so I wanted to see for myself.  I got the curry coconut tofu w/ white rice and salad. Let me tell you,  it was great! Everyone was working hard to prepare the food, so you get it super hot.  The tofu was filled with flavor, and I had no complaints. Some of the comments on Google reviews concerned me, but I'm glad I didn't listen to them. Please try this place for yourself. You won't be disappointed.

If you're in the area, you gotta try them out. Food was decent. Good enough 2 drop your trailer if your O.T.R. & pull up, semi-style....

There are tons of vegan options. My favorite thing about this restaurant is that it serves ackee all day, not just breakfast. Most things are made to order. So it’s always fresh. I suggest calling head because they are usually busy.

Portions are inconsistent some days and the food could use a little more seasoning(curry and stew specifically)…other than that food is good….I Love the oxtails

I called this establishment prior to coming in to confirm if they had enough seating for up to 20 people. I was told to just come in and they would figure it out. Upon arrival, it appeared that we would have filled the entire restaurant and would not have been able to be seated together. Luckily, we only had 8 people show up. The presentation of the food was not up to par, but the service was amazing. Everyone had something different, and I heard a few complement the curry chicken. The oxtails were ok but not falling off the bone good. I heard the rum cream was good, too. Another concern we had was that it was HOT!!!!!!! Otherwise, we pray TBD this establishment takes these reviews and makes improvements where they can. Thank you for your service!

Wow... the authentic flavors were amazing as well as the prices. We got the callaloo with salt fish, rice and peas, fries, plantain, and an ice cold soursop juice. The staff were really friendly, they brought out some fried dumplings right away for my 4yr old. Next time I'm in town I'll be going back for sure 👌🏾

I’m sorry but this was the worst jamaican food i’ve ever had. As someone who has grown up on the island i was so disappointed in their food.i ordered the jerk chicken with rice and peas and another order of rasta pasta. First of all the jerk chicken was served with some lettuce? Any authentic Jamaican restaurant would’ve served it with cabbage either steamed or how it comes naturally. I mean that’s fine if they don’t serve cabbage but what am i supposed to eat the lettuce with, there was zero sauce in the plate.Second the jerk chicken had 0 seasoning on it. It tasted like they literally just threw on the grill straight out of the package and said here you go. Third and last their rasta pasta might as well have been chicken alfredo. Yet again NO jerk seasoning at all and the chicken wasn’t even grilled it looked like it was boiled in water and they just pulled apart. Your better off going to dutch pot:)

Didn't know what to expect, but wanted vegan dishes. Food was so flavorful! I will return, classic Jamaican dishes. The kids enjoyed a brown stew chicken, while I had the sweet and sour "chunks". Food was made to order. The rice and peas can be orderd with brown rice! Kind of dark inside, food was definitely taken to go.

She greeted me promptly with a big smile and asked did I already placed an order? I requested a patty which she replied that they did not have any. I thanked her and departed.

Food is great and excellent but a large portion looks like a small. The amount of food is ridiculous! I have ordered soup twice from here and it’s a joke! Large soup is definitely a SMALL! No yam, no banana, the dumplings are little root poly( for the birds)! Soup is straight up water! So disappointing!

This was my first time visiting this restaurant. The people where very nice. We ordered 3 oxtail dinners(25.00)which came to $78.00, that would have been fine but it had no flavor ( being a Jamaican restaurant) even with extra gravy. Didn't get many oxtails for the price. Will give restaurant another try but definitely for a different dish. ( No price on menu board for oxtail.)

Real island vibe , food is made fresh to order , perfect amount of salt fresh juices, garlic conch ,curry conch , fish tea and bammy . It feels like I’m still in Jamaica! I’m definitely coming back . They also do vegetarian dishes, I didn’t think the wait was long for appetizers we had the soup., and just lymed with my bff , other people were there enjoying a beer while they waited they did not seem stressed. Keep the good food coming Coconutz !

The food was delicious and very fresh. I literally watched them cook my food. The wheat dumplings were so good as well. They give you a good serving of food The soursop juice was refreshing and was the perfect ending to a wonderful meal.

We just came from the restaurant and the customer service is horrible, the lady proceeded to help another gentleman who came after us while we were already waiting and when we asked her why aren't we being serviced, she answered back with such a nasty attitude and pushed us off to someone else. That is no way to respond to a potential customer looking to support your establishment. Also, they lady there had no gloves on her hands while dealing with the food. We left swiftly, we do not recommend.

Amazing food , consistent with the flavors and quality of ingredients ! There are also many vegan options , my favorite would be the Curry Rasta Pasta with vegan shrimp !

This restaurant is definitely a hidden jewel! Since my husband and I have found this restaurant, we've visited here at least 4 times this month along. Reminds you of the real island culture and the food is AMAZING. I've gotten conch fried rice, curried chicken peas/butter beans, and their soursop juice. I love the fact that they have such wide variety of vegan options. This place deserve a 10 star!

The food has always been on point. Hats off and a bow to the chef. Service belongs in the dumpster. Sorry to be as blunt as I am but it true. So skip the front door service and call in your meal to be in and out.

I've been going here for over 10 years the food is always on point, this place has never had a day where the food tasted less than perfect.

The flavor, temperature and appearance was great but the shrimp were overcooked. And my husband chicken was dry and over cooked as well.

He went thru this WHOOOLE Questionnaire - basically a Banter about WHY I had to ask for other people dem. The guy went ON about how "THEY" Don't make the food.😕 😐😑Then, when I specified WHY, he said, "Well, I have to Learn." RiGHT. You DO have to Learn - SOME MANNERS. And you Gon' Learn TODAY - How to Speak to people/ customers. BUT then you will NOT Learn, because I'm not Ordering!🗣 I Lost my appetite.😥You JUST Lost a customer & money - all bc of yuh mouth! Learn some MANNERS, Calmness & Hospitality for people‼😒😕smh And TRY Not take things personally.

This is my favorite vegetarian restaurant in the world. Everything is cooked fresh to order and delicious. You can have an amazing taste of the islands all while sticking to your diet. The vegan banana bread is amazing.

First time checking out the spot recently and the service was quick and most importantly the food was very delicious and freshly cooked and the amount of food I received for the price was reasonable will definitely be back.

This place is great for lunch and dinner. Everything I've eaten was on point; granted, my opinion is based on limited meals purchased. Breakfast, on the other hand, is left for the desired. I was not happy with the meal. I had ackee and saltfish. The saltfish overpowered, very thick, chunky, chewey served with big pieces of sweet potato...absolutely NOT! Side note: stir fry conch amazing.

Tried this restaurant as a recommendation from a friend and we were not disappointed. The food was awesome! We had breakfast...ackee and salt fish with fried dumplings. They have great vegetarian choices as well as traditional Jamaican meat dishes. They also have a variety of freshly bottled, in-house juices. I definitely recommend!! 👍🏾

They win! Idk what but honey THEY WIN! I was already a huge callaloo and salt fish fan, but theirs take the cake. Elevated flavors. I got mine with yams, sweet potato, plantains, and potato. There were customers but a fairly short wait time. I will definitely be back and I do recommend this restaurant. Update: I did mean to mention that I didn’t exactly care for the small amount of callaloo they gave me the first morning I went. I went a couple days later in the evening time and I got much more and it was just as good as the first time. They tried to give me overcooked plantains and a spotty potato. I took it back and they did swap the pieces out. It was $12.35 that time but the first time I was charged $13.68.

I called to place an order and the gentleman told me 10 minutes because they closed at 10pm. It's currently 10:07pm. Why lie? Just be honest.

Slightly disappointed compare from their dinner options are way better. The salt fish and butter beans is delicious, however the place is always expensive and doesn’t offer much. The porridge would have to be my least favorite(it sounds like it should taste good but it doesn’t) due that it promoted as stamina porridge with banana, cornmeal, plantains etc. Too bland…no taste at all. Overall, the place is clean and the staff is very friendly.

They really don’t follow directions on what you want/how you want it. I specifically asked the lady taking the order to put cabbage on the side meaning a separate container then I asked for jerk sauce on the side which was super watery no consistency and the amount of food for the tray was not heavy at all. They also don’t greet you when you walk in. They’ll death stare you till they finish then asked if you ordered😑

Food is great, service lacks a little

Very good Jamaican food with a variety of Vegan options. The restaurant is very small but does have a eat in area with a few tables. There is also outdoor seating on the side of the restaurant. Ordering can be challenging because upon entering it's hard to tell who is waiting to order, who is waiting on food they have just ordered and who is picking up food that was ordered over the phone. There is a lot of jockeying of people at the counter. The person taking the orders is often also taking phone orders and collecting payments all at the same time. All that being said, the young lady taking the orders is somehow able to manage all that with ease and keep the flow going.

Service is iffy sometimes.The food is absolutely delicious, amazing quality. Food portions are awful to small for the amount of money your spending $30 very small amount of rice for a large vegetarian meal, $10 for a side of butter beans, it does seem like a half of can of beans you're getting for $10 Newbie at plant base vegan/vegetarian life do to health reasons. You try and ask questions or get ideas...it's like just order your food or get off the phone. You're bothering me because you don't know what you want. It takes nothing out of your day to be kind. You don't know what a person is dealing with. I spend an average of $220 at this place, $40-$45 lunch, and dinner for 4 days in a row when I'm not working. I'm away 3 days and off 4 days, almost half my pay is buying food from this place. The place is always busy, so I guess to them, it's like it or leave it attitude they'll make money regardless of your business or not.

It's the perfect place to go to when in Southern Broward and your taste buds lust for West Indian food. The people, service and atmosphere is on point. It's a place to meet up, link up and vibe with people of other West Indian culture.

Absolute best vegetarian food, try the brown stew veggie chicken, the faux-shrimp tastes spot on, and all the homemade juices are incredible. Get to-go and enjoy at home. Wish they would use non Styrofoam containers.
