The best steamed fish I have ever had. I've been visiting this spot for years, and it is my go to place for fish.

I love the atmosphere at Tropix. Security is always on point. Its a locals spot, and they are always welcoming and fun. Junior makes the best drinks.

We ordered the fish it was very dry, they fried it way too long and the bread was cold.. otherwise the staff and atmosphere were great the music was on point except the karaoke went on for way too long.

Music was absolutely on point. Excellent drinks and good vibes.

Came here on a Friday night... Fridays are not the days for the 25 to 30s aged crowd, however, I really liked the atmosphere, the music they played, the price of the drinks, and the food we didn't order (because we ate before coming) but the food smelled good and there were a lot of people coming just to order food! We will try it again on the night for our age group (saturdays)

Love this place!! The food is always good. I usually get the fried fish escovich, with a fish soup along with it . Great costumer service and the vibes nice.

I like the club but too much hip hop rap music. I understand playing a little for every culture but the understanding should be that it's a Jamaican club and at least 70% of the song should be reggae. The crowd here is sleeping at 2:18am. Nonsense!!!!

The fish tea was outstanding. The service from Karen, is worth going back to Tropic.

Food was amazing ! Authentic Jamaican cuisine. My favorite is the roast fish and pepper shrimp.

Love their roast fish!!!! The best in U.S. this is the club all my carribean people go to when they visit the U.S. always a vibe better on Saturdays tho for dance hall. Fridays they have kareoke from like 9pm to 12am them club.

Once again the fish disturbed me back in the days they had a name that spelled fish in every language now the fish fell off shape one thing i can say is that the bar tender is very nice he is a sweetheart and shows mad love the wait time for the food was also ridiculous i think prepping would help them move faster but other than that great dj and security is very knowledgeable about his job

This is the ideal place for all things Carribean. The food is really good, all things Jamaican. Don't be in a rush they take they're time. You can get wings if you're just hungry. But it's worth the wait. You can also stay for the party. Most week ends they play the best dance hall -old and new. Nice hang out spot!

Bought food from here, and my son while eating his food crunched on something sandy and hard he spit it out and it looked like a tooth. I called to complain immediately but the response from a very unprofessional employee said to me that I should come back to the restaurant and go to the back and check, all the employees mouth and see that all there teeth is in there mouth.And here is the pictures-

Best reggae club in south Florida

I went on a Friday and they were doing karaoke, that was fun. If you're not into that don't worry, once the karaoke ended the music afterwards was on point. The vibe is real nice, the soup taste good and the drinks were also on point. Great place to have a drink, chill, or eat and listen to some nice music. Will definitely go back.

Roast fish is good but the shrimp is not deveined and not good.

Pre-pandemic this was tbe place to go, but due to covid19 alot of cut backs was necessary including a weekend DJ. So it all watered down from what it was.

Tropix seems to be popular, we went in a Saturday night and when we got there it took maybe 15 mins to find parking. When we got inside the lounge area it was packed with we eventually went to the side with the restaurant. I wasn't as packed but was still full. Didn't buy any food but the aroma from of the food told me it was authentic Jamaican food. The music was good, felt like a club or party in Jamaica and the energy of the DJ was good. It was all in all a good vibe there.
