Coffee Joy is one of my favorite spots in Baton Rouge. The high-quality coffee and food, along with the pleasant and clean environment, warmly welcome you. The staff's professional and polite approach shows that they take their job seriously. It offers a quiet atmosphere perfect for studying or reading a book. It's also a great choice for those who want to try new and different flavors.

Fav cafe in BR! The staff is super nice, the food and coffee is amazing, always a pleasure to be at Coffee Joy! Love their everything bagel, matcha latte and baklava! Highly recommend for a study sesh or a meetup with a friend. 10/10.

Coffee Joy is one of the best coffee shops in Baton Rouge. I love their iced lattes and food. It's a great spot to study after school or just relax after a busy day. I recommend everyone stop by for a drink and a bite to eat. Staff’s hospitality is amazing.

Discovering this coffee shop was a delight! The owner’s passion for blending culture with coffee is inspiring. The ambiance is inviting, creating a relaxing escape for any time of day. Nestled in Southdowns, it’s a great spot to unwind with a book or catch up with friends over a delicious brew. The staff is warm and welcoming, and their tea selection is superb!

If you actually like the taste of coffee without it being dessert with a bunch of sugar, this is the perfect place to go for that. They have a lot of different options for coffee including Turkish coffee, and it comes out very hot instead of lukewarm like a lot of coffee shops. The coffee also does not taste watered down at all either. The prices are great too!

Met a friend to celebrate our joint birthday! I ordered an oat milk latte and added a bit of honey for sweetness. It was absolutely scrumptious! The cup was large and beautiful to hold in hand! I WILL be back! You can bet your bottom dollar on that! The dining room is a bit plain, but there was a steady flow of patrons coming through on a Friday afternoon … proof they’re doing it all right. The young man behind the counter was as helpful, cheerful, and accommodating as he could be. My newest little find … Coffee JOY … appropriately named and true of my first experience there. 🌿

First time visiting. Decided to stop by with a friend and it was AMAZING! Quiet spot with soft music. Customer service is great, too. I was impressed by the quality of coffee and the specialty menu. They have a Chemex, which is a glass, similar to what a decanter looks like. It's a pour over glass with a filter specifically designed for the flow of coffee. It's allows less of the bitter solubles in coffee. I was like, yess! I will def be back

This is a nice coffee shop. Has a big parking lot and easily accessible. I just went in to try a latte and hang out for a bit. The atmosphere was nice. It felt calm and would be a nice relaxing place to take a break from the day. The service was good. I asked a little bit about the menu since it was my first time, we discussed different menu items and how they were made. It didn't take long to get my drink. Would like to go back again some time.

I’ve always loved this place, but I just got charged a dollar extra for my milk choice. I got a small iced latte with soy milk and small iced mocha with almond milk. It was $13.13 for 2 small drinks. What is this?!?!? This will be my last time coming here. So sad. Update: Company replied to review. One of the menus does in fact point out that they charge for milk. That was kind of them. So officially, if you don’t want to be charged for your milk choice, find another place.

I got a hot lavender latte with almond milk, a red velvet frappe, and the chocolate waffles. The coffee was amazing, the frappe was good, and the waffles were so/so; nothing to hurrah over. Very cute latte art, I actually liked the music they were playing, very nice atmosphere, and the owner/ person working at the time was very patient and gave recommendations per request. Overall, super cute.

I've been living in Baton Rouge for a year now and my biggest struggle had been finding a local coffee shop to sit and enjoy. Coming from a massive city like Phoenix, Arizona I hadn't had much luck, But Coffee Joy delivered in every Catergory. I will be spending my weekends for breakfast and coffee here.

Got an iced mocha with oat milk. It's good, not the best (would like it slightly less sweet and more coffee flavor), but the cup is completely full of ice. $7. It's calm and comfortable here, but not very unique in decoration.

The coffee was good! The staff had no personality and was stoic. This was my first time to sit in the shop. Chairs were uncomfortable to work in. I would visit again but not to have coffee there.

Best coffee in the area. However it has one flaw, Flat White that they serve is actually a Latte, it doesn't have required intensity, has too much milk and comes in a big cup. Waffles are delicious but in my opinion overpriced.

An unassuming little coffee shop tucked in a strip mall… once inside you will find a cozy, quiet space with friendly service and first-rate coffee. The homemade feta pastry was delicious.

Great coffee shop! Talked to the owner about a year ago when it first opened. I sincerely appreciate the fact that he's not just trying to sell coffee...he's turned a part of his culture into a business, which is awesome. Also, THANK YOU for not having blasting loud music, etc. There's a lack of places where patrons can go for a somewhat quiet retreat during lunch, etc. This is one of them. The coffee is in a completely different universe than the stuff at CC's and Starbucks. This is truly high-end coffee.

This coffee shop was so quiet!! I loved it! They were not blaring extremely loud music and people weren't talking loudly for the most part. It was a great environment to get work done in and I would definitely come again. The coffee does not have a burnt flavor that a lot of local roasters have. The food has a cute presentation and the servers are nice! The only issue I have found is that their bathroom is horrifying. It doesn't match the rest of the atmosphere.

Great spot! I had a hot flat white and an iced latte. Hard to find good coffee and this was great. I usually make my own lattes at home but we were traveling through and found this spot. Good people and excellent coffee. Really like the coffee ice cubes in the iced lattes as well. Definitely come here even if you have to drive 15 minutes.

The bagel sandwich is my vegetarian breakfast go-to! It's delicious and well priced. Wish there were more decaf options but at least there's a couple!
