I ordered a caramel macchiato and Ube latte, I did not enjoy it. The drinks were very milky and had little to no flavor, also kind of expensive for what you’re getting. The barista was helpful in making a decision but I just didn’t like the coffee.

Cute little local cafe with delicious arepas and desserts. Lots of gluten free, vegetarian and vegan offerings too. I have eaten here twice as a coeliac without getting contaminated.

I don’t write reviews very often, but this place deserves a shoutout. I’m a home barista and really care about coffee. Their oatmilk cappuccino is out of this world. You can tell that there is care going into the things they make. I also had the „Queen“ sandwich, which was super tasty too. Thank you folks for such a good start to my day.

The food is great and they have a TON of Gluten-free options. They are my go-to breakfast spot since becoming Gluten Sensitive. Highly recommend the Venetian Breakfast Arepa and the empanadas are a must have!

Amazing accidental find while visit the area. The coffee is what coffee should taste like black. No gross aftertastes or over roasted beans meant for espresso served as drip coffee. I mentioned these because I was being lazy and looked up Starbucks. But the closest two were either in a hospital or shopping center. So I checked for coffee shops nearby and my luck turned for the better. The amazing guava pastries and a traditional corn and cheese roll/biscuit something. Different than average American coffee shop but good different. I’m writing this review as I was reminded to while looking up the open time tomorrow. Need to set my alarm so I can grab more deliciousness asap..

This is our regular go-to spot for breakfast and brunch. We love their mocha lattes and they make great pan de bonos. Their arepa meals are really good too - our favorites are the skirt arepa and la cubana! It's a nice chill atmosphere inside.

Great coffee (tinto) lots of vegan options!!

I’ve been looking for a place like this. This place should be illegal, that’s how good it is. I went with my friend who is not only a picky eater, but also vegan and he said he would come here every week. I agree with him. With so many options of stuffed arepas to choose from, you’ll never get bored. This place has options for everyone. The food came out warm, crispy, and perfectly cooked. The barista was welcoming and attentive, even bringing vegan sauce options for my friend. - VERY affordable - Homemade natural ingredients - Friendly and attentive service - Made to order food - Customizable arepas Con: does not serve the stuffed arepas on Sundays (as of March 2024), I hope this changes in the near future.

A great place to relax sit down and enjoy coffee and empanadas

I came here on a Saturday morning with my mom and we really enjoyed the visit. What appeared to be a small Columbian Cafe actually ended up being quite spacious on the inside! The Cafe has a nice, calm atmosphere and ambience with lovely art. The barista was delighted to have us and offered to assist us with deciding what to order and showing what they had available, as well as giving recommendations. The coffee was quite good, we ordered the Mocha and Cappuccino which were both excellent. The Tres Leches pastry I ordered was also delicious and I would highly recommend it. If I could give a suggestion to the owners, it would be to perhaps invest in some higher quality tables and chairs as I feel that would go a long way in improving the atmosphere of the Cafe. I would highly recommend paying a visit to Coffeecol.

Every time you come to Coffeecol, you are immediately presented with a relaxing atmosphere, where you can sit on comforfable seats, have some soup, or a daily special! Why not try one of the many smoothies or juice options, as well as an entire drink menu that seems to never disappoint? Mariana is wonderful! She is amazing at everything she does. The decor and music are phenomonal, greatness in every sense of the word. Whenever I am in the neighborhood, you bet I'm gonna be walking into Coffeecol. This is by far THE BEST cafe I have ever been to, hands down. Stop by!!! You won't regret it!

I ordered a breakfast arepa of bacon, egg and cheese, and 6 mini empanadas (3 chicken and 3 beef). The food was absolutely delicious, and best of all it was gluten-free. Just be sure to let them know if you have a gluten allergy. Highly recommend!

A great menu with lots of vegan options

Stopped by to get a coffee on the way to airport. We were in line behind one person… then 4 others come in. Lady behind counter served / made EVERYONE ELSE’s drinks and got their food BEFORE she made ours! Latte was lukewarm, she only steamed the milk for 3-4 seconds! Chocolate croissant was good. Very disappointed! Will not be back.

My husband wanted a burger I wanted a good cup of coffee… this place has both. Charming and relaxing to sit in, the service was really pleasant. My husband had a simple burger with a plain salad, he said the burger was juicy. I had grilled chicken and avocado in a roll, once again the chicken was juicy, making it a really good bite. I also had a mocha coffee, which was probably the best I have had in recent years. Will be happy to come back.

My mother recently got diagnosed with celiac disease and due to my own health I too have to eat gluten free. This place was AMAZING! From the food, to the friendly staff and music! It has so many gluten free options and the food was fingerlicking good! I’m so happy we both got to enjoy some amazing food and even purchased some arepas and empanaditas to make for ourselves at home! Can’t forget my delicious little gluten free dessert (caramel strawberry gelato) this is definitely a little gem!

I ordered the volcano hot chocolate and it was PERFECT. My wife ordered a smores frapp I believe, either way it was also delicious. Hot chocolate and coffee of this caliber aren't easy to find. Prices were good, portions were good. Great music, atmosphere was welcoming. I didn't eat anything this time but I will be returning and eating and idc the season I'm going to have a hot chocolate.

I love this place so much. I've tried the arepas, empanadas, and more. The flavor is delicious, the portions are great, and their prices are fair. Every time I order food from here at work, my food arrives HOT. My go-to for sure.

The owners, Angie and Leo are true professionals. The food is Excellent. The deserts are Excellent. There is also a small Curio section where you can purchase Oil, Cookies, Expresso Coffee and Coffee makers etc. And the service from Marianna and Angie is just as wonderful. Stop by. Try it. You'll go back for sure.. And oh by the way. If you would like some delicious pie's. Angie will be happy to make one for you.

I absolutely love this place! Authentic Colombian food (I personally love their arepas and empanadas). Their desserts also look yummy and they have the best gluten-free cheesy bread. This place is GF friendly and a must try! Prices are also super reasonable and the service is fantastic.

One of my favorite places in Teaneck! The empanadas are unmatched and all the drinks are delicious. Whether you get coffee or tea you know it’s going to be awesome. Today I tried the cinnamon walnut pastry and it was like nothing I’ve ever had - amazing. I can’t wait to keep trying more 😊

Great food with easy to identify vegan options!

I love this place. The only problem is that I don't live in this area. I am Gluten-Free and I can eat most of the items on the main menu.

He Arepas are great. If you take them to go, DON'T WAIT TOO LONG, or they won't be as good. If you eat em fresh they're amazing. Made with real love ❤. Their baked goods are pretty good too. Cake portions are kinda small but I could do with less cake anyway lol 😆 Arepas are of a kind you can't find anywhere around here. You can even buy them frozen for home.

Had the Habana and Cubana arepas as well as the fries and gf cheese bread. Everything was delicious! The labeling of everything (gf, vegan, etc) is super helpful.

The arepas and pan de bono are awesome! I'd avoid the salads as the lettuce is usually wilted and turning (I've tried multiple times), but the arepas and baked goods never disappoint!

Coffee house vibe, great retro music, tasty food

Had arepas for the first time, loved every bite of it. Coffee was perfect temperature. Had Guava pastry, excellent, with plenty of filling, unlike from other bakeries. Great customer service and clean cafe.

I've experienced such real and natural ingredients in the carrot and chocolate mouse cake, and the best coffee in New Jersey. It's worth at least trying once.

EDIT 5/5/21: I tried the vegan food and it is EXCELLENT! Authentic Latin American food which I believe to be Colombian in origin. Rustic, flavorful, comforting, good portion, and the vegan egg made me feel right at home! It has character! Huge menu, including vegan options. The Colombian pour-over, while not the most robust flavor I've ever had, was still very good and refreshing (I drink it black). Neato chairs and tables. Coffeecol has its own soda brand as well. My only wish: the music was top 40. It lacked character. But for a few minutes of sipping fresh, hot coffee on a Wednesday afternoon, all was well.

Excellent service and very chill location. The staff is very helpful and always upbeat, which can be hard to have in these Covid times due to masks. My order is A-L-W-A-Y-S on point. Restrooms are clean and things are well maintained. I will definitely be a regular! Support local business! This one offers quality (yes, 10/10!) drinks!

Whenever I go to Teaneck, NJ I eat at Coffeecol. Their signature breakfast potatoes and freshly baked Pandebonos HIT THE SPOT every single time. If you are from New Jersey or just visiting, I recommend you try them out. P.S.- It is always a good idea to support a small/family owned businesses like Coffeecol!

Love this spot, Great vibe, love the environment! I can to try out the coffee with my family and have to say it was amazing I got some lattes and Frappuccinos. We also tried the Gluten Free Arepas and they were also so tastyyy! Must try spot.

This is a great breakfast location or a spot to get a quick lunch. I have come several times with my daughter for her quick high school lunch break and they have taken her order, made the food fresh and we still had time to sit and eat. Will definitely return to this little cafe regularly.

my freshmen year of HS they started out great! I would come here all the time because the chicken tenders and fries have a Unique flavor and seasoning and i am obsessed with Pink sauce but they started raising the prices up and eventually stopped putting much effort into their Food. The food is bland now. if you're gonna raise the prices , might as well raise the effort!

Came here because they had some vegan options. Ordered an arepa, which was ok. Some bites were good, some left a lot to be desired. It was close to good, but not quite there. The strawberry banana smoothie was a huge miss.... couldnt taste any strawberry, and there was a slight hint of banana, but it mostly tasted like a think almond milk. Coffee is good! The lady working was very friendly! And the atmosphere was comfortable.

The arepa of the day had shredded beef which was ok needed more flavor. The Guacamole was good and the best part of the sandwich was the freshly made Arepa! If it wasn’t for that I would’ve scored it less. The fries were ok too they put some sort of seasoning on-’em

I used to work in an office building nearby, and I would come down almost every day to eat the french fries here. I have no idea how they prepare them, but they are probably the best french fries I have ever eaten. Their other food is pretty solid as well. I just wish that they would stay open past 6
