Absolutely amazing Prime Rib served on Saturdays! My family and I have been coming here for over three decades and the food, atmosphere and friendly faces keeps us coming back. The desert menu especially the rice pudding is amazing! Glad to see the next generation running the resteraunt with the same spirit and keeping everything just as amazing as it's always been!

Stopped in for a great dining experience. Professional and friendly staff along with well prepared meals. Tonight (Sat) was prime rib special, which was delicious - just make sure to make a reservation and preorder since they usually sell out! We also had blackened salmon which was amazing. Can’t wait to go back

Love this place so much! Has a great mom and pops vibe, amazing service and even better food! I’ve been coming here for a long time and the atmosphere has changed recently and it feels more updated but still has that classic feel it always had. Would really recommend checking this place out!

I have been eating in this restaurant for about 35 years since first introduced to it by my parents in 1988. My wife and I eat there regularly enough to be on a first name basis with the owner and staff. Over the years, the food is always consistent and well prepared. Never had a bad meal. The atmosphere is great and while we are sorry to see some favorite waitresses move on, we will miss them but get to know the new ones. I look forward to a good meal and a drink at reasonable prices.

Old family and community gathering place with great dinners, huge portions, old fashioned neighborliness and a legendary Saturday prime rib special worth a special trip.

Had an early dinner, the specials looks so good. I asked the chef to pick one for me. He sent me out one of the chicken dishes, pipping hot and so tasty. It came with a side salad that had some wonderful house dressing on it. I was already stuffed when they suggested dessert. Again there was such a wide variety of tasty treats, I ask them to surprise me. They gave me a slice of chocolate mousse cake with fluffy whip cream and fresh berries. I wasn’t already hooked on the food. I probably would come just because of the wonderful atmosphere and awesome service.

It’s with pleasure that I write this review. First off absolutely the best owner ever. 👍👍👍The food is always consistent with flavor and quantity. It’s incredibly good quality as well. The staff is also like a family. Very welcoming, and always willing to make suggestions and be accommodating. Ask for Nancy if you call in your order , just say that Dave sent you. 🙂 You’ll also find a familiar face from Woodbury. Tj from the Curtiss house is here with her impeccable service. Btw she also makes the most incredible Cherry crisp for dessert. Definitely worth asking for and should be a menu item. It’s a real pleasure to see that a local restaurant is still going after decades of service. So take time off and stop in or order a meal to go, you’ll be happy you did.

Oct 1st. 2022 Saturday Eve. Thank you Constantine's for an evening that became a precious memory. My family asked me where would I like to dine for my birthday, immediately I said Constantine's. The food , our waitress, atmosphere, was excellently enjoyed by all. Pricing very reasonable and portions are very satisfying. Thank you again for a lovely evening I will always remember. ❤️

The food is great and priced reasonably. Prime rib melts in your mouth. Service can be slow at times but the servers are so kind and apologetic that you can't be mad.

A landmark in Woodbury. The food is mediocre but fresh.Our server was excellent and attentive. It is a very busy restaurant catering to a senior population.

Had dinner there with my family tonight for the first time. Delicious food and excellent service. I had the moussaka, my husband had the chicken piccata, older kid had a steak, younger one had the fried seafood combo. We also devoured the grape leaves. Couldn't finish it all so we'll be enjoying it again tomorrow :) We will DEFINITELY be back soon.

Our favorite restaurant since we moved to Southbury 10 years ago. Outstanding service, excellent food and love the atmosphere. Nancy is the best waitress ever! We often order dinners for takeout as well - never disappointed!

Great small intimate restaurant. Wonderful staff and the Veal Voldestana is excellent. Musska is also very good.

I love this place. They keep it simple and good. Staff is very friendly. Their seafood has always been my favorite. Broiled scallops are delicious.

Moved to Woodbury during the pandemic and this is the first time venturing out to eat since being fully vaccinated. Very good food (I had the chicken piccata, my spouse had the chicken franchise specials). Welcoming. Friendly service. Good sized portions (not Cheesecake Factory monster portions). Highly recommend and we’ll be sure to return!

We found prime rib best. One niggling thing is that portion size is big. We might sound awful but big portion is a turn off.

This place is awesome. Its so cozy, full precautions, such a lovely crew with a very clean place. The chicken franchise was so great with perfectly cooked squash. I got a greek lemon rice soup I never had which was also fabulous. I brought home the moussaka. A favorite dish when someone has one. This is the photo. 😶 say no more. It has to be amazing. Cant wait for tomorrow. I love i can go to the dog park and pick up from here to make the drive even more exciting of a trip. Ill be coming back for sure.

Constantines has been around for over 30 years. Started by a wonderful Greek couple, Evangalia & Eftehios, they created a much loved establishment that puts out authentic Greek, Italian, and American dishes that are full of fresh ingredients, flavor, and the portions will satisfy even the most ravenous appetites. Once voted, "Best Value for your Dollar", by the Litchfield Times, they give you true value for your hard earned dollar! The food, drink is what keeps you satisfied, but the atmosphere is unmatched in this area. The minute you enter, you are welcomed and treated as family. It reminds me of restaurants many years ago, where everyone was family. Conversations with perfect strangers produce friendships that are cherished. Many nights have there own groups that just meet to enjoy a great meal and atmosphere, all among friends. This has not changed in decades, and will continue. Saturday nights special is their Angus Prime Rib, that many have learned to reserve, in advance, because they sell out. The price, quality, and portion is unmatched in this area. Many local "fancy" restaurants charge 40% more, for an inferior cut. Constantines has always given great flavor and value! Try it once, and you will become another faithful customer!

Great place, cozy and great food

This is a charming restaurant in Woodbury. The wait staff are friendly, the booths are comfortable and the food was great. I had a gyro and my husband had a fish special. From the gingham curtains to the warm wood ambiance set the tone for a lovely Valentine's Day lunch. Everyone was wishing a Happy Valentine's Day to each other ,couples and friends. We had no expectations going in and were pleasantly surprised at the experience.

GOOD..IN FACT GREAT. FOOD AND WONDERFUL STAFF!!

Stopped in for lunch last Friday ... we should have kept going up the road. First the restaurant is spilt into sides and they sat us on the side where no else was. Felt like we were in isolation. Then the placemat was dirty; looked like they didn’t change from the last customer. Wasn’t just mine, my husband’s was dirty and stained as well. Next my salad came out ... bowl was dirty and lettuce was wilted. I sent it back ... got a clean bowl but they just added my wilted lettuce to more wilted lettuce ... we should have just left then ... it took 40 mins our lunch to arrive. The food finally arrived; I always wondered what prisons do with there leftovers. The worst! There are many nice restaurants in the area, go to one of them!

The waitress (Nancy) is a very nice person. She gives us very good advice about the food. My boyfriend had the most moist pork chops. Food is served pipping hot. Good service.

Love Constantine's where your treated like family. Good is great. Veal Voldustsno w baked potato is outstanding w light crunchier exterior. Eggplant moussaka and Greek salad my favorite

I really enjoyed the Greek wine. The food was also very good. Simple. Fun.

Wish I could give a higher rating, but sadly was not entirely impressed. The scenery and location is amazing, a nice quiet place. I enjoy an old fashioned diner however maybe a bit too outdated interior in my opinion, could be cleaner. Service was okay, didn't feel 100% welcomed upon arrival, but I am not a weekly guest here like others. Would have liked to be attended to more during the wait for food, such as more coffee. Much more of an older croud and calm atmosphere. Lastly, food was alright. Nothing extravagant or amazing. Burger was a small meal for my liking and for the price. Steak was good value just not enough flavor to be truly enjoyed. Both were well done instead of medium as asked. Would recommend as a casual lunch location.

Foods was good. Very homey. Theservice was incredible. It was like we had gone to an old friend's house for lunch.

First time eating at this restaurant. Came with a friend for brunch on Sunday. It's a small restaurant that is always busy. The food is Greek influenced, lamb chops are a delight! We ate their signature omelet that morning, it was delicious just the right portion size! Atmosphere was quiet and peaceful a nice change from loud and noisy diners. I will definitely come back. You will enjoy it!

Excellent staff, food is second to none. Hands down the best prime rib on Saturday night. Try the souvlaki, or anything else on the menu. It is all made fresh. Has been my favorite for decades. Specials are usually fantastic, worth a try.

Come for the Moussaka, well, and grape leaves...doesn't hurt that a Greek salad is included. Always a cheerful staff!

I’ve been going to Constantine‘s since they opened. I reside in Florida now but every time I go home I go to Constantine’s. Cozy, comfortable, affordable, delicious and friendly. I couldn’t ask for anything better. Sometimes I think I go home just to go to eat.

I was impressed with the food and service. However, the wait for the check was long. I had to find the waitress for my check. The ambiance of the restaurant was cozy and warm. The one waitress at lunchtime is not a good idea!!! I would go back again though, if in the area.

Showed up late looking for food on a road trip, not realizing they were closing in 20 minutes. We were greeted with a smile, the food was very tasty. If we lived near Connecticut I know we would be back!
