Awesome food! And the atmosphere is family! They put their heart into their restaurant!

When I win the lottery I’m going to build a Retta Jeans by my house and move all of the staff here. :-) The place is so freaking adorable and the staff were just as awesome! We’d never been here before but quickly felt like family. The waitress was super attentive and kept an eye on us the whole time. The chef even brought our meals to us and chatted for a bit. Chill dude for sure. They do serve breakfast all day, so that’s pretty much a guaranteed win in my book. I got this breakfast bowl sort of concoction that had a biscuit and gravy in it. Magical! My wife ordered an omelette and it was legit - not just scrambled eggs folded over. And they use real shredded cheese, not plastic slices. I got a slice of chocolate peanut butter cream pie. I wasn’t even hungry anymore, but it sounded delicious. It was. Real nutter butters and all. We also bought a jar of the cherry bbq sauce to take home. Can’t wait to try it out. Sure, it’s 10 minutes off I-70. But you will NOT regret stopping here for a meal. I promise you that we’ll be back. :-)

This was a wonderful find! The food was fantastic and the service was excellent! They have specials of items on certain days. My husband had the pulled pork and said it was very good. Our daughter had the taco salad and I had a chicken sandwich with special sauce that was fabulous! We will definitely visit again if in the area.

The breakfast was fast, fresh and so worth the price!

Food was great. Very clean, including bathroom. Vibe was very relaxed and friendly.

Seriously one of the best meals I've had in a while. Tenderloin was delicious and definitely made in house. Salad was fresh. Ranch was homemade. Burger was tender and juicy. Chicken sandwich was as perfect as the Tenderloin. All topped off with excellent service!

I loved everything about this place - the small town atmosphere, the homemade food, the friendly service and the restaurant decor. All were fabulous! And don't skip the desserts...I had trouble deciding, but went with the lemon cheesecake, and it did not disappoint. If you're driving along SR-42 close to a mealtime, make a stop into Retta Jeans!

We just bought some property by cataract Lake. We have eaten at Rita Jeans a lot over the last couple years. They are closed Mondays, but when myself and a bunch of troopers showed up, she saw us and opened up the business. She fed like 15 of us. These people are so nice and their food is great. Their barbecue is out of this world.

Another one of my favorite mom and pop breakfast places.

Retta Jeans is where you go if you truely want good food. Not fast food or frozen food. Retta's is by far the best blace to eat for miles and miles. There is no place that compairs. Their pies are all home made from scratch and delicious! Can you think of another place that does that besides a bakery. Their hamburgers are fresh their chicken is fresh their bbq that Bobby smokes and cooks is always fresh and fall off the bone tender. I could go on and on about this little piece of heaven we are blessed to have in our little town. Thank you Lori & Paul for all your hard work and delicious food! I only have 1 request for you ....... I need you to add Turkey Manhattans to your perminent menu please 😁 Where ever your from in Indiana or Illinois or anywhere for that matter. If you find yourself looking for a place to go, drive over to Poland Indiana and have a seat at Retta Jeans. Its worth the drive and you wont regret it.

Had the farm burger today. Did not disappoint. Burger, bacon, fried egg, and a piece of ham. Great portion and tasted great. Would defintely go back.

My husband and I decided to try this little local restaurant while in the area for the weekend. We were not disappointed. It reminded me of a Sunday dinner at Mamaw's house. We both had the catfish dinner special that came with three sides. The catfish tasted fresh and appeared to be hand-breaded, the mashed potatoes and gravy were clearly homemade (a few lumps in the potatoes and pieces beef in the gravy), the tomatoes tasted like they came from a local garden, the coleslaw was probably one of the best I have ever had (he voted it the best he has ever had), and the apples were not overcooked or overly sweet.
