The very best Vietnamese food! Can add your level of spice. Corey is friendly, attentive. Our first visit and looking forward to our next. Accepts all major credit cards. Mentioning this because a search stated cash only, but so glad we walked by and discovered differently.

Everything was perfect! If google allowed me to give more stars I would, absolutely delicious!

Visited Philadelphia and stumbled on Corey's. WOW!! Amazing food. Corey was so friendly and knowledgeable about food, too. This place is definitely not your typical neighborhood restaurant. A real fine off the somewhat beaten path in the Old City.

Came here on the night of August 3rd. Had super size pho tai. Was visiting from NYC and was very surprised to see a perfect score restaurant and decided to check it out as I'm a huge Pho fan. Turns out, it was Corey's (the chef) birthday! The atmosphere was great, service was great, the vibe was great, and the food was amazing. I can confidently say this is the best pho I've ever had. Of course there are different styles of pho depending on the region and time but this restaurant has the best of this type of pho (I won't say which) Definitely will revisit when I'm in the area.

Delicious!!! Timely service. Summer rolls were so fresh-probably the best I’ve had actually. This is right around the corner from us we will definitely be becoming regulars. Thanks guys!

One of my favorite Vietnamese restaurants in the city. Great food, relaxing atmosphere, not to mention the owner - Corey is a very nice and sweet guy! All the food we ordered - chicken red curry, rib eye beef pho, beef bun and chocolate cake is delicious! Me and my friends inhaled the food! Sooooo good! Every dish is flavorful and tasty! The service was good and fast. Not a thing to complain! Will definitely go back very soon!

I am Vietnamese and Ordered pork spring roll and vermicelli and the spring rolls had a horrible smell - I can tell the pork in the spring rolls had gone off.

We rerouted from the urge to go to our usual goto spot in Washington Ave, thinking why not try out a new place? Omg. Don’t be fooled by the cozy, modern ambiance. This place serves the legit pho and Vietnamese cuisine. Didn’t even need the hot sauce/hoisin sauce for our pho - broth had such an umami flavor that you don’t need anything else. Get the Vietnamese fried rice with bbq pork and try it out with their (homemade?) chili sauce. We promised ourselves to come back whenever we crave pho on Philly. What a pleasant surprise!

The best place to have soups, quality food

The best Pho I have ever taste. I got the spicy one and was full of flavor. My husband order the fried rice with barbecue chicken and was amazing. Will come back soon

Incredible place! It was the best vietnamese food that i’ve had. All the appetizers were full of flavor, they didn’t skimp on any dishes, and the main dishes were incredible! Most importantly, the menu is just a starting point. Corey can modify dishes in so many ways. Overall a 10/10 restaurant with perfect food.

Corey and his staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating- we had a large (and difficult) takeout order with different dietary restrictions and each dish was unique and tasty in its own way. It is clear how much love and care they put into it all. The desserts were great too!

Update: I’ve returned several more times to Corey’s. Highly recommend the Berkshire pork chop, which comes with a delicious potato creation (not sure how to describe it lol). I think about it often and look forward to eating it again. Also, loved the yellow curry and noodles, but the Amish chicken that came with it was dry. Would pass on the rib eye steak, as it was overly seasoned for my taste and not as tender as I’d hoped. Their pho, on the other hand, had a lovely depth of flavor and was one of the best I’ve ever had. ****** So happy to find Corey’s Crafty Vietnamese restaurant yesterday as I roamed South St. They have really delicious Vietnamese food & great customer service! Looking forward to visiting again :)

Great food. Knowledgeable about celiac and gluten free. Have the iced coffee, which is prepared in a more authentic manner.

The BEST Vietnamese food I’ve ever eaten. Chef came out to talk to me and basically customized an incredible vegetarian dish with crispy tofu that blew my mind. Service was excellent.

We had a delicious and super fun dinner at Corey’s! The menu is extensive and they are happy to accommodate any dietary restriction or concern. Flavors were outstanding. I especially enjoyed the chicken curry dumplings and the shrimp vermicelli. Corey was just fantastic. We enjoyed getting to know him and his culinary background. He made us feel so much at home! We did sing some karaoke after our meal lol. We were closing down the shop and honestly it was a blast. I cannot recommend this place enough! For delicious and flavorful take out, call directly. Or come in person for a fun time. You won’t regret it!

So delicious! Amazing Thai & Vietnamese options, tasty apricot iced tea, finished off with chocolate cake with apricot sauce and vanilla creme brulee. Great customer service, they treat you like family.

Corey and his wife are not only crafty, but creative, curious, confident, and cutting-edge with their French-Viet fusion of ingredients, flavors, presentations, and service. They invite you in with wide open arms and make you feel like you are part of their family! Extremely kind, humble, and fun people! One of the best dining experiences we have had from start to finish and one you certainly do not want to miss! We definitely will be back! Be sure to try the BBQ pork!

What a gem of a restaurant! Corey and Rob have really cultivated such a warm and inviting atmosphere. I’m so happy we got a chance to meet them and experience their generosity. The atmosphere coupled with the best banh mi I’ve ever had really sealed the deal for us that this is a staple restaurant we’ll visit whenever we come back to Philly. A big thank you the chef, who I think is Corey’s wife, for making such a delicious and cozy meal!

If I could give Corey ten stars I would. The food and the staff are extraordinary. We stopped in for a quick lunch and ended up staying for three hours. A meal we will never forget. Corey loves karaoke and will offer free dessert if you are willing to sing a song. Best Vietnamese food in Philadelphia.

This restaurant was like going to your most fun loving family’s house and being served the best most home cooked food. It was our best friends birthdays and the owner, host, and wife (cook), really rose to the occasion and pulled out a karaoke mic for us and cake on the house to celebrate. It couldn’t have been a better experience and a place we wouldn’t pass up any time we visit Philly. The most highly recommended spot on all accounts!!

Corey's was excellent! Everything we ordered was delicious and reasonably priced. Our server did a great job explaining everything to us. No alcohol on menu but it is BYOB. Thai ice tea is very good. We will 100% be back.

I stopped into Corey's to pick up a broth for my mom, who was in the hospital. I was expecting good food because of the high rating the restaurant had received. My expectations were exceeded. I had Pho. Mom had a chicken bone broth, which she savored. I wasn't able to eat for several hours after picking my food up, yet it was fresh and wonderful even after heating it up. I returned the next day for lunch with my husband, and again the eating experience was delightful. Corey and his wife deliver outstanding flavor with a family feel to the customer service. Try the sea salt crusted tofu and crispy chicken. The flavors Corey provides are unlike most Vietnamese restaurants. They are complex and give you that "party in your mouth" kind of feeling.

This tiny hole in the wall, BYOB Vietnamese restaurant was a very lucky find. The food was wonderful, fresh, and presented with elan. The service was terrific. The Pho was especially great. And don't miss the limoncello cake!

My family and I had an absolutely wonderful dining experience at Corey's restaurant! This casual restaurant offers food and service comparable to upscale establishments, all at an incredibly reasonable price. You can tell how proud of and invested Corey is in his restaurant; greeting us personally, taking our orders, taking the time to answer our questions thoroughly, and making us feel like part of their restaurant family. Rob, our attentive server, ensured our glasses were never less than full and cleared dishes promptly. CCVC is also exceptionally vegetarian/vegan-friendly. I had the tofu banh mi, mushroom and leek dumpling, and vegetable pho—each dish was so delicious and flavorful. To top off a perfect night, we enjoyed a spontaneous round of karaoke and were treated to complimentary dessert—a lovely surprise! CCVC has earned our loyalty, and we'll certainly be back! Highly recommended!

Hidden gem, one of the best place where I ever had food, which including all kinds of places varying from Michelin star restaurant to street food cart. The chef really mastered his craft, attention to details and amazing ingredients. I had a big feast and thought no room for dessert. But the dessert (I had lemon cake) came out to be as amazing as all the dishes.

I was always a bit skeptical about Vietnamese food in the NE, but this place turns out the best Vietnamese spot we’ve found in the region. Came all the way from nyc and wasn’t disappointed. Definitely recommend this place.

I absolutely loved it here, for 1 they were open on Christmas, 2 the food was absolutely delicious & flavorful even their drinks were good the raspberry ice tea was great and I had a hot tea as well (Moroccan Mint) but if you want a different flavor no worries they bring out a container with a variety of choices. After dinner we topped it off with some desert & karaoke the staff & atmosphere were beyond delightful I can’t wait to go back definitely 5 stars for me all the way around the board!

Corey's is seriously my favorite restaurant. Not only in Philadelphia, but in the country. The staff is incredible and will remember your order from visit to visit. The food is fresh and extremely flavorful. I could say more but I'm so tired from how full I am from eating the delicious food that I can't muster another word. If you do one thing with your life it needs to be visiting this spot.

Really great authentic Vietnamese spot with a ton of different things to try. I love how they broke down their menu; I had to try something from each section including a delicious Vietnamese iced coffee. Every dish was well prepared and had such rich flavors. The rib eye pho was my favorite but you really can’t go wrong with anything you choose. Really friendly staff too. A must stop!
