The only thing we tried was the fondue and it was good. I'm not a fondue person though I love cheese. The bread could be a bit harder for the fondue. Don't expect to get it quickly as it takes time to prepare especially if it gets busy.

When you leave vacation you want to take a piece of it home with you. When we left our holiday at Sugarloaf, I asked my children what their favorite thing they ate in Maine was, my ten year old son replied, “the Nutella brioche”. I am enjoying my copy of Edible Maine that I picked up at the shop on the ride home to CT. I love the article and can’t wait to come back for some warmed breads on a rainy, winter Maine day.

Alice and Lulu’s is such a welcome addition to the on-mountain restaurant scene. The service and cocktails are top notch in a quaint and cozy setting, and we’ve loved every dish we’ve tried so far — especially the raclette. Highly recommend for apres drinks or dinner!

We really enjoyed our dinner at Alice and Lulu's. We had very tasty dinner crepes and their wine list is strong with a good range of prices. We will be back!

A&L's is THE Apres spot, relaxed but elegant. The wine, cheese and atmosphere is perfect whether you ski or not! Plus the dinner and brunch menus are amazing. Don't miss it while you're here!

They had me at crepes! And, boy oh boy, I wasn’t disappointed. Small, intimate, place, with tables and bar seating. Highly recommend reservation, albeit we snuck two seats at the bar for drinks and crepes. Wine list was plentiful, and cocktail options varied. Let’s get back to the crepes! I was at a loss of what to order. I let them know I liked these ingredients and out came two sweet crepes that were absolutely mouth watering. Alice & Lulu, thank you for that fine dining experience!

Incredible meal and experience. Hands down the best pasta I’ve ever had in my life and I’m from NJ/NY area where there are so many Italian restaurants. This place competes and exceeds!!!! And best bread/cheese and charcuterie I’ve ever had. Will definitely be back. Bonus review: they treated my crazy kid with such kindness and gave him crayons!

The food was below average at best (and my son got a stomach ache). All dishes were oversalted, duck nuggets were flavourless, fondue was too liquid and lumpy with no gruyere taste, escargots were super oily. Even cappuccino tasted like it was made of Americano, not espresso. The waitress was nice though, and offered complimentary macarons to cover for our bad experience. Also, if you'd like to have raclette, it's better to give them a call and confirm because apparently it should be pre-ordered. In our case, we made an online reservation with no "raclette" question being asked (and no one reached out to us to confirm reservation/to offer raclette menu), so this option was unavailable for us.

My wife and I live locally and I wanted to surprise her with something different on date night. We don’t usually think to to the mountain since we don’t ski anymore. Going here turned out to be a great choice. The food and the drinks are better than anything in the area. The owners work here and they are wonderful and friendly people.

If you want good food, then eating at Alice and Lulu’s is an absolute must. In an area full of glorified bar food (if that), here’s an outpost of real cuisine. Start with a cocktail (some sweet, all delightful), move to a charcuterie plate (have them pick select the details), and then if you’re lucky enjoy raclette (the crepes are excellent too). Finish it off with an aperitif—their liquor is leaps and bounds above anything within 50 miles. My foodie spouse and friends cannot find an item on the menu they dislike; I’m not sharp but I know something too good to be true when I find it.

Overpriced, service takes forever and have to request there main dish like 24-48 hours in advance. However, you get to watch everyone else enjoy it. Looked amazing

Talk about an experience! The food, wine, and cocktails are amazing. Easily some of the best ive had in maine. Local selection of products, prepared and presented with care and passion. Chef is killing it in the kitchen and the service from Lauren has been as good as it gets. If you come to this mountain, and dont stop in, you have missed the boat

The people who own and run this true bistro are the finest. They are consumate hosts and source and prepare food that elevates the whole dining experience. They know wine, savory and sweet!!

Picked up a great looking and tasting Macaron. Service was great, environment was somehow both fancy and relaxing/chill.

Happened upon this gem one night for dinner. Ambience galore with delightful and social owners, this is a place you will want to keep going back to. We not only enjoyed a nice dinner, but we bought some of their farm fresh eggs and came back days later to buy some homegrown greens.

An old friend and I were hungry after a long day of work and exploring. In the summer there aren't many options for dinner on a Thursday night between Eustis and Kingfield. Alice and Lulu's was not only the best option for locally sourced food but also the only real option we could have ever dreamed of. Laura (the owner) was such a delight to converse with between helping other customers and providing our service. Great cheese, wine, bread, salads, and omelette. Wonderful chef. We were even able to buy eggs and will be returning to buy greens that are both directly from their farm in Kingfield. Thank you for your time and service. Can't wait to come back.

This place was phenomenal! So much of the food was local, which I was really awesome—love to see a restaurant support local suppliers and farms! Also—the house made pickles and the candied nuts were SO good! Definitely recommend getting those with a charcuterie board.

I have been dreaming of coming to this place since it opened and my experience was a complete delight in every way. The team operates seamlessly with excellent menu knowledge and zero pretentiousness when helping customers navigate less familiar wines, cocktails and, of course, raclette. I loved being able to slow dine, which is such a rare gift for customers, and one I do not take for granted. Every single menu item I tried was delicious and clearly made with love and attention to detail (a candied orange wheel on a cocktail, charred broccolini...). I hope Alice & Lulu's stays in business a long, long time. They are open in the shoulder season & there's still snow (for gazing purposes only) on the mountain - get up here!

Delicious food (even as takeout)! We got the raclette dinner and rented a raclette grill for the evening, which made the dinner special. All ingredients were fresh or high-quality. For dessert (which we ate first because they were hot and fresh), we got the lemon curd and brown butter Nutella crepes - amazing! I wish we were staying longer so we could eat here again. Very friendly and accommodating owner.

Unpretentious, but high-brow delivery little charcuterie wine and cocktail spot. Incredibly friendly service from the whole staff, and a welcoming patio for those willing to dress warm and bring a blanket. Order yourself a glass of wine at happy hour and local meats and cheeses as well as those from further afield, and just enjoy as one should.

I stopped at Alice and Lulu's for dinner the night before I ran the Sugarloaf marathon. Considering I hadn't trained I really think that a lot of the credit for my 3:07 marathon has to go to the bottles of Barolo and Burgubdy I drank here. And the delicious hand made pasta they were serving with confit duck!

Cuteness trumps service at this six-table wine bar cum bistro. The atmosphere and menu selection was delicately quaint. But the service unraveled quickly. One of the three entrees was sold out by 7:30pm. It took 45 minutes for the charcuterie and cheese board to arrive, and we had a similar delay for our main meal which inadvertently left out our salad. Alice and Lulu's still have some kinks to work out, c'est dommage
