These people bought an existing business and ruined it. Turned the only breakfast place in this entire town in to a run down drive thru… These new owners need to go. I’ll be spreading the word all around. 0 stars out of 5.

My go to for a great breakfast in a cozy place.

Get the GARBAGE HOMEFRIES!!!! Delicious breakfast in a low key atmosphere. I would definitely eat here often if I lived nearby.

HUGE pancakes an inch thick, delicious food and generous portions, we left with a full stomach!

well done! i came in for breakfast at 7am and ordered the garbage omelette, and poutine. the garbage omelette was large and came with breakfast fries and Texas toast. everything was an 9/10 except the poutine which was not to bad the fries texture was off for me, gravy and cheese curds were great. the service was amazing i cant remember my waiters name but she was a short brunette who was as sweet as pie. the atmosphere was spacious with a wood stove as you enter the seating. it was also -5 degrees fahrenheit out and was very comfortable inside with a long sleeve on.

This place is a treat and stands in contrast in today’s world of chains and boring corporate culture. It’s down home. Simple, inexpensive, but good and super friendly. Great sense of humour and spirit of service. You won’t regret driving a little out of your way to have a meal here.

Wonderful find in rural New York, not too far from the Canadian border. In business for 36 years, now owned by a very impressive young couple. Local favorite, great food & homemade desserts!

Always fantastic food and quick service!

We decided no cooking this year and made reservations for Thanksgiving Dinner! We each had a large plate of turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, roll, squash (best squash ever) and apple pie. Only complaint... I should have ordered an extra for leftovers the next day! We did take out pumpkin pie. We will definitely be back! Staff was friendly and they even have crafts for sale.

WOW! We found this place a few weeks ago. We camp in the area and were looking for a great place for breakfast. This is hands down the winner! The staff is always friendly and the food is great! I admit we've only had their breakfast but I doubt you can get a bad meal from here. The homefries are amazing. I swear most places don't season them but this place definitely does. I just hope to find a need to be in the area again soon. If not I won't be back until next camping season :(

Was warned of the size of pancakes, but still opted for 2 which resulted in filling me the rest of the day!! Companians had variety of dishes which were also well enjoyed! Very welcoming environment and staff were very engaging.

Don’t be fooled by the outside, the food is not only enough for a hearty appetite it is also amazing. Could not ask for a better breakfast. Will be back.

This is a great place, in a beautiful location. Owned by a lovely young couple. The food was great and the staff were super friendly. This place was a whole vibe. Everything about it made the experience great. Their home fries were better than I have had anywhere from here to syracuse. Very fairly priced. Would recommend this place 10 out if 10.

I just have to echo the other reviewers! This place is really a fantastic family restaurant for breakfast! If you are feeling down, come here and it'll cheer you up from talking to the caring friendly waitresses. You'll surely leave with a smile after eating the excellent food, too!

My sister is recovering from you didn't treatment for throat cancer and even though she ordered soup, she was unable to eat potato soup. The waitress asked if she would like them to put the soup in the blender. They did that and she was able to eat. Very few restaurants would have been that accommodating.

Wonderful family owned place to go make you feel like family

The food was great, everything was cheap, and the people were very kind. My daughter ate all of my husband's tater tots! My son also got homemade fries, those were amazing too.

Had the big breakfast (eggs, bacon, toast, home fries) and wife had a blueberry pancake (Frisbee size) and bacon. Everything tasted amazing! It was our first time there after reading reviews and specials posted everyday! Everyone made us feel like we had been going there for years! Will definately be back again!!!!

Have been coming here since I was a little girl. The sweets are amazing, homemade by Shelly! Her son is a sweetheart, very genuine family. The waitress with the dark long hair was so sweet and genuine, we will be back soon! We love it here ! Good food, good company, great desserts !!!!! Love it!!

If you have not been to this diner I highly recommend you go...The food is always great. The portions are way more than enough. But most importantly it is a friendly place and good conversation is always available.

I had coffee, biscuits and sausage gravy breakfast with eggs over easy delicious! The home fries with onions tasted overwhelmingly like vegetable oil. That's why the missing star.

The service here was seriously the best we've had 'round the world. Shelly, Josh and Neil make you feel like family the minute you walk in. The food is awesome - classic American diner fare done exactly as it should be. Even the kid's chicken nuggets were delicious and obviously homemade.

We felt like family here, the waitresses were kind and friendly and very professional. We felt at home and we will go back for more. The food was delicious and served up piping hot and quickly. And the pie was so yummy!!! Well done tall thank you.

We sat at the counter and could watch the cook in the open kitchen. I had the baked ziti with garlic bread. The bread tasted like the frozen kind from the grocery store but did not look like it. The pasta had mushroom, onion, sausage, beef in it. It was a good portion for $7.95. My friend had the bbq pork sandwich. It's served on buttered toasted white bread. The bbq sauce is sweet. He opted for fresh cut fresh fries that up being soggy from the fryer. The staff was friendly. They had many pies to choose from that are made with puddings. They also had a carrot cake. We did not try the desserts.

Best restaurant in North Country by far. A unique experience not to be missed. Shelly has a heart of gold and an unmatched wit. Come on weekends to meet Nelly.
