If you seek expertly cooked, fresh boiled crawfish, this is your place. I understand the owners get the crawfish from their own local ponds, so it's always fresh. Take out is a major part of the business, but if you want a comfortable place to dine on boiled crawfish, this is ideal. The dining area is photo-worthy. The owner is apparently a devoted hunter outside of crawfish season (this place is open only part of the year, during crawfish season). The tables are custom-built for crawfish eating. If I lived locally and not 100+ miles away, I'd be a regular.

First time eating there, and I have been living in Lafayette for 11 years. The food was great and our waitress was very sweet. We even had a great conversation with a couple visiting from Dallas. They took pictures to show family in Dallas how big crawfish are supposed to look like !

Husbands class of 71 had lunch there recently and everything was GREAT. We ordered 5 lbs of crawfish and 2 lbs of boiled shrimp both with potatoes and corn. We also each had a link of boudin which was very good. The crawfish and shrimp were both perfect. The seasoning was on point and neither one was over or under cooked. They had everything you would want to drink. The beer was very COLD. The waitresses were wonderful. I really don’t know how they gave such great service to such a big crowd but they really did a great job. The whole afternoon was perfect. We will be back and hope we will have more group meetings there again. I would not hesitate to recommend this resturant to anybody. Everything was PERFECT.

Me my husband and his daughter went here for their mother grandmothers ( deceased) birthday. Crawfish were seasoned perfectly. Place was crowded but got our order fairly quickly. Thanks Crawfish time !!

Went off the reviews, when the crawfish came out with the seasoning on the outside I knew that was a bad sign! Meat pulled out with ease... But absolutely no flavor... Yep... All on the outside. Corn and potatoes boiled in plain water, sold/charged separately, had to add seasoning myself 🤦 Never have I ever SMH Duly noted on maps favorites stop 🛑

Crawfish had no seasoning on inside, shameful how many people used the dipping sauce for crawfish, potatoes and corn wasn't seasoned, the shrimp was the best part. P.s. this is coming from a teenager from Tennessee with pink hair

We had combo and crab.🦀. I love crawfish best, very fresh and easy to pull out. However, the crab is a bit salty. I can feel the crab is frozen before. The service is great and the waitress is nice and hospitable.

Food is always good, very basic, you get crawfish, boiled shrimp, or crab legs. Kids get a hot dog if they don't want seafood. Side note, your entire party must be present to sit. Not sure if thats all the time or just during busy hours.

Awesome food and service. Come by everytime I am back home during crawfish season. Was back home for a week at Spring Break and went in three times that week for great crawfish and ice cold beer.

If you want great boiled crawfish then look no further, Crawfish Time is the place to go! The main menu is limited to crawfish, shrimp and king crab legs plus sides such as potatoes, corn, sausage, boudin etc, but let’s be honest when you come here you are coming for the crawfish! Staff is very friendly and the crawfish are very fresh and flavorful (good balance of heat and salt). Would highly recommend coming to Crawfish Time if you are looking for good boiled crawfish! Make sure you get here early especially on the weekends cause this place fills up quick!

I tried the food for the first time a few weeks ago. I had the crayfish and it was really good. The staff was friendly and quick to wait on you. The food came out quickly.

This is BY FAR one of the best crawfish spots in the lafayette and Acadiana area! The crawfish are always perfectly boiled and the taste and seasoning are second to none! I always get extra spicy and it fits my taste buds perfectly! I promise that you will not walk away from this place upset because the crawfish are that good! Staff is super friendly and the environment is that down south louisiana feel!

Food might be great...but because they were not open when stated open, can't tell you. PLEASE UPDATE YOUR HOURS!!! Just a little aggravated...stated open until 9:00 on Sunday, arrived a 5:40 and CLOSED!! Not too pleased. Update: We drove way out of our way for this place...thus the reason for this review. I was planning on removing it if they reached out with an explanation or apology...but nothing. I hate leaving a review where I haven't even truly experienced it, but customer service extends to reaching out to customers like me.

The BEST PLACE for crawfish in Lafayette! Crawfish Time is an authentic, friendly, and delicious place to visit. We stopped by two other crawfish restaurants but they were too corporate. This is THE PLACE TO GO! Definitely order 3lbs per person and the special sauce. Our server was so sweet and helpful. We appreciate you guys!

Being stationed away for a few years, when I came back to visit family I of course needed to eat my fill of crawfish while in town. I cannot say enough positive things about this restaurant. The crawfish were outstanding (requested extra spicy and they dusted it well with cayenne 🔥). Our waitress was very friendly, the whole place is very clean, and the hand washing stations are super convenient. 10/10 highly recommend this spot!

Boiled crawfish is perfectly seasoned!

Crawfish was super dry (no juice in the inside ) and they only seasoned the outside . The crab legs were much worse . The 2 stars are due to the cleanliness of the restaurant, nice waitress, and hand washing stations. Tried this place twice and won’t be trying it again.

Crawfish had no juice in the head, all seasoning was on the outside. Ordered king crab legs brought snow crab out and was informed they were out of king crab at that time not before hand.. she did offer to take them back but i told her it was fine.. waitress was extremely nice and food came out fast.. shrimp were perfect.. snow crab legs were ok..

Our waitress Lola gave impeccable service!! After you’ve had your fill of crawfish, the hand washing station offers a bit of luxury with warm water and upgraded hand cleaner scrub soap!!

The food was great granted it looked like to out of three of our 3 pound crawfish orders were a good bit smaller than the 3rd one). I didn't catch our waitress name because she didn't tell us. Our table was right on the way to the kitchen yet she only checked on us initially for our drinks then never came back. I had to stop her once to get a refill for my daughter. I then ordered some dip n dots and asked for the check. I saw her selmdonly look at our table to "see" if we were doing good but, we should have been asked atleast once if we needed anything. The other servers seemed to have a good bit more pep in their step per say.

Best crawfish and shrimp hands down!!! The remoulade sauce is a great addition to dip your seafood. The mushrooms were so flavorful. Service was great!!! Friendly atmosphere. Shell shock leaves your hands seafood free.

First timer since moving in the area and drove out of my way to try this place due to the reviews. I'm half and half on this review as it was just ok in my opinion. I got the shrimp and the crawfish. I wish I had been told there was a regular and spicy because the regular seasoning didn't do anything for me on the shrimp. I would've done better at home as they were just salty with no real flavor. Crawfish was ok though. Not great, but not bad either. The pieces were big though which were nice. Not sure if I'd come back again. Still on the fence. The crew was cordial though! I will say that.

The boiled Crawfish I picked up from Crawfish Time on Ridge Road tasted okay, but they weren't up to the normal qaulity I've come to expect from Crawfish Time! The Crawfish we're mostly medium to small in size with very few above medium and the price was outrageous, $37 for a 5 pound order so I won't be getting boiled Crawfish from Crawfish Time anytime soon🦐⌛👎

I checked multiple times and in the 24 hour day cycle. There is no specific “crawfish time.” Its only numbers going up till 12 or 24 if you’re European.

This place is off the chain!!! staff is so friendly from the time you enter till the time you leave.They allowed me and my mom to come and sit 20 minutes before they were open, Constantly checking on how you are doing. This place is EXTREMELY CLEAN!!!, the crawfish look like they are on steriods!!! I ordered the 5lb extra spicy, with boudin, sausage and potatoes, could not eat it all...It is a must visit!!!

Crawfish Time on Ridge Road has the best crawfish, service, and price in town! The quality of the food is always top notch and consistent. The seasoning is great, and the service is quick and friendly. Good atmosphere for families, couples or groups.

Flavor was good, size was impressive but consistency was hit or miss...had 8lbs and maybe 20% we're a bit tougher to peel out of the tail. Would still try them again sometime in the future.
